Heavenly Chicken & Waffles

I had the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was seasoned very well. The sauce that came with the chicken added even more good flavor. The potatoes that come with was very good too. The portion was good for the price. The food was ready within 10 minutes made fresh.

They took forever to fulfill an order . Called in and told 15 minutes arrived in 20 and still had to wait an additional 12 minutes to get my order . Plus they don’t use gloves. The chef folded and placed a waffle in the container bare handed and then proceeded to lick his finger where the waffle burnt him

This is the “Ultimate omelette” I was given for $18. The bag wasn’t dropped, there wasn’t a rush of customers and no there wasn’t anything else included toast, potatoes, grits nothing. Just raw spinach, raw onions, a little egg, one piece of chicken bacon, half of a chicken sausage and one and a chicken tenders. I didn’t open the box until I was 45 mins away at work, of course which was too far to turn around. Please do better.

Hands down the WORST food truck experience I have ever had. I ordered a chicken sandwich for my employee and for myself an order of potatoes and a waffle with strawberries. My employee requested Swiss cheese and was given American. Fine, he dealt with it. I was handed my potatoes right away, and 43 MINUTES LATER my waffle was done. Mind you, my potatoes were cold by this time. Apparently they forgot to warm up the waffle maker or it wasn't working correctly. Halfway back to my office I look and I received a plain waffle WITHOUT strawberries. Not even syrup was provided...JUST A PLAIN WAFFLE! $27 for this? I was so mad it was best I just return to my office than to go back and deal with the incompetent staff. I am all about supporting small businesses but this I cannot get behind. I will post a review on EVERY outlet possible because as far as I am concerned I WAS RIPPED OFF!

So, this was my first time visiting, I simply ordered potatoes & spinach. Bill was 10.00tax .60 than a 4% service charge added with cash. Total $11.00…WTH First and last visit…….I was the first person and the time it took for them was not worth it. Sometimes you just can’t support 😓

Breakfast sandwich tasted okay. They made correctly, even with modifications I asked for. Wait time seemed a little excessive for 2 breakfast sandwiches . Wait time was 30 mins.

They have some of the rudest employees.. I called about an order, and before I could even say my name the guy kept saying “I’m busy, what’s your name”.. Once again, I told him that everytime I try to tell him my name, he talks over me. I understand they have a business but customers inquiring about why items of their DoorDash is missing, should NEVER be a bother.

Moms was telling about this place in a good sense. I finally grabbed up mom and checked it out. She made a good call. The "Favoite" has four full wings, a huge Belgium waffle, and dashed potatoes. The wings are crunchy, tasty, and like the old days, plump. The waffles has just a touch of something sweet. The diced potatoes is like a hash with a bump up if cheese and butter. They did not disappoint.

I wanted some waffles you guys and when I tell y'all I recommend this is where you go if you ever on the west and need a bite to eat.

Located in the Whatcha Wanna Eat food hall, this is a godsend. They have a variety of breakfast items on the menu. Staff is on point and very friendly. Can't wait to post my food and let you know how the food is.

It has potential; the food wasn't awful, it just lacked seasoning. The chicken was fried perfectly and was crispy, however it lacked seasoning not even salt. The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, however it had a sour taste to it almost like over fermented sourdough. They didn't give us enough syrup to help cover that flavor. The potatoes were very good, however they lacked seasoning. Adding salt would have helped tremendously. It would have been nice if they finished with salt, even if they didn't want to season it before hand, a little goes a long way when added as a final step when plated. The service was nice and they were friendly. The businesses at this location are listed as food trucks; however it is more like a food hall/mall. There are several food businesses at the location where they all offer walk up service packages to go. There is seating to eat there, however it isn't comfortable since there are stools with high legs but the tables are too low for your legs to fit under. You either have to eat with your legs spread wide or sit on the edge of the seat. Management needs to change it. Hopefully we will give it another try and hopefully the food will be better.

My client's neighborhood has #foodtruckTuesday and this one came today. I was skeptical at first but BABY!!! Food was on point!! I had the loaded heavenly potatoes...whew Chile!!! Seasoned great and a nice portion size. Presentation could be better cuz I like my food to look "pretty" and take pics lol but other then that GREAT!! My client had the wing combo and he loved it as well. Wasn't to sold on the price...4 wings and fries for $15 but he loved the food!!! I'll definitely support again!

My family and I went to Robin Hills Farms for a day out and the Heavenly Chicken and Waffles food truck was set up there and I was PSYCHED to see it! I love chicken and waffles and had been following them on social media for a while so I was excited to finally try them out. Their ordering process is streamlined for COVID times in that you order from their website and they send you a text/email when your order is ready. It was SO easy to do and even easier to pay. I did the taster platter which was half a waffle, three drumettes, and a small side of their heavenly potatoes. My mom and I both wanted more chicken so we also split an order of their drumettes. Everything was excellent. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the waffles were fluffy and the perfect compliment to the chicken, and the heavenly potatoes were quite tasty (seasoned red skinned potatoes pan grilled with red and white onions and fresh green scallions, sautéed in garlic butter). My cousin, a picky 13 year old, LOVED it. It was her first foray into chicken and waffles together and she was super into it. She even doused both in the syrup and she never has syrup. My aunt, her mom, got the Chicken Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken topped with chicken bacon, fresh spinach, pickle, Bermuda onion and real mayonnaise served on a butter grilled brioche bun) with a side of fries and she loved hers too. We all spent our drive home raving about the meal. The fellas running the truck were SO friendly and kind. It was like 90+ degrees out and I know it had to have been sweltering in the truck but they were nothing but high spirits with the customers.

Chicken was fresh, seasoned & cooked to perfection! Homemade potatoes, like my mom's use to make em.. Services, were very helpful and polite, when asking about different items! Definitely, will be back again‼

Outstanding chicken sandwich and excellent customer service. I forgot my lunch, saw Heavenly Chicken and Waffles near my office, and decided to give them a try. So glad I did. The guys were super friendly, helpful, and even walked the food to my car when it was ready. The chicken sandwich was fantastic--made to order; juicy and crunchy; well-seasoned; and on a brioche bun with fresh accompaniments (pickles, mayo, Bermuda onion, baby spinach). Another nice surprise-- it also came with a bottle of water and fries. Fried were great--hot, crisp, with just enough seasoning. Great presentation in the to-go box and traveled well the five minutes back to the office. Will definitely be looking for Heavenly Chicken and Waffles again to try their spicy chicken sandwich next!

IF I could give zero stars I would. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I paid $19.00 for bad customer service and worst of all horrific food. The chicken wings were cold and hard and the mac and cheese looked like grits. The manager or owner who ever he was had on gloves that water was dripping from and he was handling food. I told him that I did not want the food that he was handling because of the gloves and water dripping from the gloves, when all of a sudden he said that I had bad energy and that he wanted me to hurry up and get out of his establishment but would not refund my money. Now tell me with looking at these photos would you want to eat there! Absolutely not! Would you eat this? I don't think so. That guy just doesn't know but I am telling everyone of my experience and the horrible food that I was provided. I spoke to all of my co-workers who contacted their family and friends, and we will not be purchasing anything from there ever, and I and anyone that I see going there I will tell them to never purchase anything from there! Not only is the customer service horrible but the food is even worse. Thanks for ruining my Lunch! Just take a look at the photos and tell me just what do you think? Would you eat that? I didn't think so. I will be contacting the better business bureau and the Health Department! Thanks, but you wronged the wrong person! This location is in Detroit, Michigan on West McNichols and Birwood.

I ordered the favorite. Waffle was good, wings were large, well seasoned, and perfectly fried. Heavenly potatoes were buttery and excellent. The employees were friendly. I would recommend ordering online and picking it up.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. They didn't have any waffles and ran out of chicken. The staff was rude and wasn't able or willing to answer any questions. When we didn't receive our entire order they thought we were lying and it was a challenge to get reimbursed.

Love the food!!! Always fresh and taste is on pointtttt literally one of my favorite places to eat.
