Heavenly Pies Pizzeria – Review Some places talk a big game — Heavenly Pies actually delivers. We grabbed a couple of different kinds of pizza (because variety is the spice of life), and every bite had that classic "crafted, not rushed" feel. The crust? Golden, just the right chew, and didn’t flop over like a wet noodle. Toppings were fresh and loaded with flavor — you could taste that the sauce wasn’t just an afterthought. For dessert, we went with a slice of pistachio pie — and honestly, it was the sleeper hit of the meal. Rich, smooth, and just sweet enough to leave you wanting one more bite (even when you already told yourself you were full). One thing to note: this isn’t a $5 Little Caesar’s situation. You’re getting a Ferrari, not a Pinto. The prices reflect the quality and honestly, it’s worth every penny. Atmosphere was laid-back, service was friendly, and the entire experience felt like discovering a hidden gem. Definitely a place I’ll revisit (and recommend).

WORNING!! One of th worst experiences i have had. We had 3 chocolate milk and the milk was expired bad and sour. We also had a request for that non diary broccoli order that is specified on the menu as a non-dairy product but we got it with butter. We worst italian restaurant!

They are fixing the atmosphere. ; ) First thing they said when we came in. Food was very good. And I love food... I want to go back and that's saying something. I had this very fine rolled pasta. The next dish like that was going to have mushrooms. I want to go back and try that! Even the next day it was good!

Stopped in here for lunch after a fun couple of hours at the nearby Lion Habitat. We were very impressed with the food here. Crunchy yet soft crust, delicious toppings, great sauce, friendly staff... nothing not to love. Wife and I shared a shredded mozz & fresh mozz topped large pie with tomato sauce, homemade sausage, truffle paste, and garlicky spinach. Our young sons loved the mac n cheese and a cheddar topped bacon and kalamata olives. Phenomenal flavors and fresh quality. 10/10 would recommend!

The pizza was amazing! We shared 2 pasta dishes and Caesar Salad. The food was outstanding, the service was incredible. The wine that was suggested to us was so good we drank another bottle. This restaurant was truly a great find and we will gladly do back again and again.

The pepperoni pizza for lunch was really good. The ingredients were fresh and high end. I returned that evening and had dinner. We had meatball with marinara sauce and polenta. The meatball was perfectly seasoned and as you would expect from the master of sauce Chef Pellegrini, marinara sauce was delicious. Roasted chicken was very flavorful and unique(you have to try it!). We also had philly cheese steak egg rolls. When you bite into it you can feel the crispy egg roll skin along with the rich flavor of the steak and cheese. Absolutely heavenly.

Wow. Heavenly Pies gives a true meaning to pizza. The thin crust is soft yet has a tender crunchiness. The shrimp adds a unique flavor to the pizza and the fresh leafy basil leaves a lasting taste to the taste buds. Handcrafted pizza at its best. Ordered online & picked up in store. Got the Green Pizza, which has Pesto sauce, mozzarella, asparagus, broccoli, spinach, zucchini, roasted garlic. It was great. The price was comparable to a chain pizza store, but with better quality toppings & options. I'd recommend this place for sure.

Very unique pizza selections but the combinations really worked well. Several of us were fans of the green pizza. The doctor's was a blind order for me as when you order via grubHub you can't see the description but that too did not disappoint. My order was on time and was greeted with a smile and they reconfirmed my order before I left. My only regret was not eating in-house as the crust is thin and by the time we made it back to my hotel 10 min away, it got cold. Interior has a few window side booths and a few tables but my group was too large so we opted for take out. Easy parking.

Food is very good, service is good, but food takes FOREVER. If you're in a rush maybe save this place for next time. This is the third time we come for a meal with at least two different servers and it's the same wait so think it's the kitchen maybe? One of the times we just ended up asking for everything to go and while they kept apologizing for the wait they didn't offer to discount anything or even a dessert for the inconvenience. I didn't need either of those things, but being that I've worked in the restaurant/bar industry for the first 10 years of my life I know something was definitely warranted in that situation. Anyways, the food is good and I would come back for a more relaxing date night where we have more time to drink and relax.

Holy cannoli! I was on the hunt for some cannoli's for my book club get together and I was curious if Heavenly Pies & Trattoria had some. Just my luck, they did! They had mini cannolis and since I needed 15 of them, I thought mini was a good size. I placed my order for 15 cannoli's for pick up on Sunday afternoon and for $32, what a deal!! Everyone loved the cannolis and if the cannolis were that delicious, I need to go back and try their pizza next!

Back to back pizza restaurant reviews on my end? Of course. Nestled next to a Starbucks, I've been wanting to try Heavenly Pies for a while, a pizza place close to Kyle's house. His best friend actually worked here many years ago, back when it was under a different name and different management. Initially, hence the name Trattoria, I thought it was going to be an Italian restaurant with pizza, but I later learned that this is more of a takeout place than a sit down service place. We placed an order for takeout through DoorDash, where we ordered the "Emiliana" pizza. We also ordered a side of prosciutto and a side of mozzarella marinara, with a ready time of about 10-15 minutes. What I found interesting here is that you put the prosciutto on your pizza on your own, hence why it came as a side. Everything we ordered was really good! Unfortunately for me, I didn't get the chance to try out the mozzarella marinara, but it looked delicious. Kyle really liked everything that we got and I ended up taking some pizza slices back with me as leftovers for the next day. Even though the crust was really thin, the pizza was still really good. Their desserts looked delicious too and I want to try them during my next visit here!

Nothing I love more than a no frills hole in the wall!! This beautiful intimate place is tucked in the corner of a restaurant strip. Our server Oscar was phenomenal, helped us navigate the menu for ordering a pizza. Let's talk about the food! I don't have words to express how damn delicious this pizza was. Was probably the lighted pizza I've had in town. It was incredibly thin and with a perfect undercarriage and NO FLOP! The ingredients were so fresh and could taste the quality in the food. Chef knows what he is doing! We got a medium pizza, comes in 2 sizes medium or the large. We got a cheese w/pepperoni, mushrooms, jalapeños and hot chili oil! They make their own ranch from scratch!! The Cesar salad was so damn delicious as well! Coming back for the chicken Marsala and the wings next time! P.s. - they make their own wing sauce from scratch!!!! RUN dont walk here!

I love supporting a small, family owned business! I love the music they played - the owner asked if it was okay or if we'd want it turned down/changed but we loved it! It was the perfect volume where you could enjoy it and still have a conversation. We were instantly seated, got our drinks, and ordered quickly (not rushed, we just had planned on getting pizza before arriving). Pizza was delicious! Definitely recommend and will be back. On the pricier side if you like a lot of toppings but for a simpler pizza, it's perfect. There was no rush and we were able to take leftovers home. We paid/tipped up front when we were done. A smooth, enjoyable dining experience. We definitely will be back!

Really good! This is close to where I live and sort of tucked away near Starbucks. I've had pizza here twice, and it's always been an order ahead online. My go-to is the 5 formaggi, which is magnificent! The second time around, we also got the bbq chicken pizza, which has pickled okra. That was an interesting flavor but so delicious! The first time, we got the smaller size pizza as it was just for 2 of us, and it was perfect, 4 slices each. The second time around we bought them for a party and went with the bigger sizes. I think the price is very reasonable for the amazing pizza that you get! The service was also very friendly. We placed our order online both times, walked in to pick it up, and were always greeted with a smile. I don't know the woman's name, but each time I've seen her, she's been very nice. The pizza is always ready when I arrive, which I really appreciate not having to wait around. It looked like there were some seats to be able to sit down and order some food, but I haven't tried that. I love this place, and it's top of the list when I want a really good pizza.

Great place to get quality cuisine on the go or grab a seat. Stopped here for pizza otw back from Vegas. Place looks quaint. They have a variety of Wines to choose from on display.. They have a perfected ratio of ingredients for their pizza. Greeted by a friendly welcome. Wait time was not long; about 15mins. Definitely recommend

I often judge places on whether or not the hours of my life spent working justify the purchase. This one is justifiable. Delicious pizza and a wonder environment to relax in after a day of work. More than a few people have said they've heard that it was good but haven't gone... I think its about time they do. Definitely worth it.

Excellent pizza , lunch special, extremely affordable three choices. The first you can build your own. Build my own from $4 Slice of pizza , Caesar salad, bottled water, and a slice of pistachio cake! Total $14 it's delicious!

This is a small restaurant that does a large volume of takeout, especially pizzas. We had a shrimp with penne pasta with a curry cream sauce. It was phenomenal! My wife had the chicken piccata that was exceptional as well. We were completely blown away.

Very clean restaurant, friendly service and excellent food. Looks to be mostly used for takeout, but no reason not to eat in. We had 2 pizzas and 2 salads from the happy hour menu for the 4 of us, a good amount of food to split.

Outstanding!!! From the food all the way to the service! Everything is absolutely amazing and delicious here! We ordered the emiliana pizza, chicken wings, chicken finger Milanese, fries, and heavenly salad. Wings were so fresh, crispy and perfect! The pizza! Oh my gosh that pizza!!! So beyond delicious! The chicken fingers and the best chicken fingers I've ever had!! This is a hidden gem is our new favorite!

On our first and most probably last visit we ordered a margherita pizza. Thought the toppings were fresh, the crust was similar to a cracker.

Im bummed we waited so long to come here. All the pizzas were amazing. We went on a Sunday evening and were seated right away. Everything on the menu looked good but the kids all wanted pizzas so we order like 4 kinds. Seriously not one bad bite. Everything was so good. Will definitely come back and 100% recommend.

I had a dream of having broccoli on pizza the night before, and found Heavenly Pies Green Pizza! We added sausage to our pie, and it was really good. I wouldn't call this pizza healthy, but if you're veggie lover and like to eat their greens like me this pizza is the way to go ;) The Heavenly pie needed more sauce or maybe I should have ordered a side of sauce... note for next time. Will be back!

Small pizza and Italian restaurant. This one earned a MUCH better than expected. Service was warm and welcoming. The pizza was about as close to Roman as we've enjoyed in Las Vegas. The thin crust was baked perfectly, delicious, crusty (not soggy anywhere), the veggies were fresh, the pizza was labeled individual, yet it was large enough for two. Surprised how this pizza brought back so many fond memories of our visits to Rome. The pizza sauce was flavorful and very light. Overall, a wonderful mushroom pizza. We'll return! Thank you. Editing the review as we're still talking about how awesome that pizza was hours later and we're both amazed, no part of this pizza crust was soggy. (We did dine in so we consumed it almost immediately after it was removed from the 600 degree oven, but still, really remarkable crust.)

If you're looking for homemade Italian food you have to try this place. They're literally from Italy. I love the small touches like the cold carafes of water and the glassware. The lasagna was amazing with a meat sauce and a béchamel. They also do holiday catering. This is a must try.

Just got done with the World Financial Group convention in Las Vegas and was driving back to California and decided to stop to get something to eat. I found this restaurant on yelp. It is unbelievable. I am treated like royalty here. The service is impeccable, as is the owner and beautiful families enjoying themselves here. The food is delectable. The Cesar salad was delicious and was my pepperoni and sausage pizza, that had a very nice crispy crust. Highly recommended. TD

I was born and raised in New York where theres a pizza place on every corner. I thought I knew great pizza, until the one I ordered from Heavenly Pies. I ordered mine with onions, peppers, extra cheese and the mushroom medley. I thought the $39 price was a bit high.. until I tasted it. The Perfectly cooked thin crust was a joy, and the cheese and sauce were excellent. The addition of the mushroom medley brought that pie up to God level.

When I came to heavenly pies, the pizza was absolutely delicious! But.. the prices were crazy expensive! For a small pizza with no toppings just cheese and sauce in normal crust it was $15 plus tax!? Are you guys crazy?! The ambience is really beautiful but at the same time that price isn't beautiful

Ordered over the phone for pick-up on a Saturday around 3pm. The order was ready in about 10 minutes. The staff was nice taking the order. It wasn't busy that time, only one table was occupied. The menu seemed decent. The pizzas can be made gluten-free (but only in one size), which is why I chose to try this place since my friend eats gluten-free food. Toppings, sauces, cheese and vegetables may be added as well. Green Pizza, gluten-free: smells good, tastes good! Parking: easy, a few spots in front of the restaurant and plenty in the parking lot area

Absolutely love this place I drive all the way from seven hills to eat here. The pizza is amazing so is the entire staff. The lady who runs the front makes you feel so at home. So glad I found this gem and will tell everyone about it. I believe her name is Irena? She is has great customer service skills. So lovely. Thank you for all you guys do your awesome:)

One and Done!!! This place is right near home but, I will never be back. I ordered chicken piccata which was to come with spaghetti and a lemon caper sauce. Not even close to what I received! It was corkscrew pasta with a bland tomato sauce accompanied by chicken strips in a slimy sauce that had no flavor. I have to say this was the worst piccata I've ever had and it was not even edible. In addition I ordered what they described as "garlic pizza". No it was cold flatbread with garlic pieces on it and a side of generic red sauce, that was actually orange in color. Besides the food being horrible, they charge customers extra for using debit/credit cards. So we pay ridiculous prices for subpar to horrible food then have to pay extra when we use another form of payment. These owners should be ashamed of the product they are putting out and what they are charging their customers, especially since there are incredible Italian/pizza places in a 5 minute radius. I will not recommend to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is that the employees were pleasant. Otherwise this place is a sorry excuse for being called Italian anything.

After looking up YELP reviews we came across Heavenly Pies, and YELPERS got it right with how fantastic this place is!!! We had a sausage, pepperoni and onion pizza with Caesar Salad! First the pie is so good! Probably the best I've ever had... I can't figure out if it's the crust that makes it so good - or the sauce? Because both were amazing! The Caesar salad was delicious too! The wine selection was great and the Chianti by the glass was delicious! (Bottle are a good price) . They have multiple TVs, great for pizza, wine and Knights! It was a perfect date night! We are really looking forward to our next visit and bringing friends!

I've had good pizzas and I've had bad. This was one of the bad ones. Not worth the $31 price tag on an 18" pie with 3 toppings. The toppings alone added an additional $12 to the cost. I wasn't a fan of 8th St Pizza, the previous tenants, this was worse. Here's why, they didn't take the time to at least keep the dough round. They cut the pie like it was a third grader drawing outside the lines, the the slices were uneven. My point is this - you couldn't even take the time to make a crappy pizza look like a pizza. It's hard to screw up pizza, you really have to work at it. When you can't even cut it evenly, you. Just, Don't. Care. This is in addition to the toppings being bland and not contributing to the flavor. They passed off the green peppers as jalapeños. Domino's or Pizza Hut makes a better pie. I don't recommend.

Our first time at Heavenly Pies and it was great! Of course we had to try the pizza so we got a build your own with pepperoni, mushroom medley and truffle tomato sauce. The sauce was the star of the show! Not too overpowering with truffle flavor, but just enough to make it special. You can tell they use quality ingredients and I prefer a thinner crust, so it checked all the boxes for me. We didn't realize they had a separate lunch and dinner menu. The chef was very nice in accommodating our request and allowed us to order the meatballs with polenta, which was one of the items we were really looking forward to trying. I definitely want to go back for dinner!

Last week my husband ordered take out (2 pizzas & a salad) from Heavenly Pies so I didn't have to cook. It was delicious, so tonight when I didn't feel like cooking, he took us to dine in! Yummmmm!!! Caesar salad is perfect : nice, fresh, crisp lettuce, tangy Caesar dressing & homemade croutons. The lasagna was unbelievable ... the bechamel sauce really makes this dish - that hint of nutmeg is #chefskiss ‍ The meatballs -- my son is a meatball aficionado & gave them 10 out of 10 The chicken piccata was made exactly the way I like it! Love this authentic Italian restaurant & highly recommend!!

Pizza was high quality but not good when looking for a slice. It's niche at best and probably best eaten with fork. The owner Chef might be awesome I never heard of him but the pizza was definitely not worth it.

Really liked this place! The pizza was super thin, which we loved. Very tasty. The Caesar salad was very nice, with a light taste of anchovy but very fresh. We had the chicken Marsala and really enjoyed it. There was also a good kids menu so our young kids were happy.

Who knew that Southern Highlands was the home to the BEST pizza in Vegas?? Sitting in the middle of an unassuming plaza next to Terrible Herbst lies Heavenly Pies-- the most amazing hidden gem I've yet to discover!! Succulent cheeses, unique yet surprisingly perfectly-matched toppings sitting atop a crispy, crunchy crust await to tantalize your taste buds! Typing this is making me hungry all over again LOL! But thanks to their generous portion sizes, I've got leftovers!! I know, I know. You're thinking, "Southern Highlands?!? No way am I driving that far!" But don't you do it! Once a month we get together with our friends and try a new restaurant, this month we tried Heavenly Pies after I heard rave reviews from some girlfriends. We made a reservation ahead of time just to be sure we'd have a table on a Saturday night! Much to our surprise it wasn't too crowded or loud. We were able to comfortably chat without having to yell. Huge plus! The service was great! He anticipated our needs perfectly and had great recommendations! The food was incredible! I can't wait to go back and have their lasagna again. It's the best I've had in town! We ordered the Caesar salad and the heavenly salad to share for 4 people as a starter, both delicious! We then ordered a margherita pizza and the lasagna as our entrees and our friends ordered the lamb chops and a lasagna as well. Not much talking when the food came except for "wow" and "this is so good". We truly enjoyed our experience and look forward to putting this in our rotation of favorite spots.

Wonderful service and great food. The place is small but they made room for my party of 11 and delivered phenomenal food! The warm octopus appetizer is so delicious as well as the lasagna. Absolutely recommend!

Our server was absolutely slow. We waited to place order and we never got to give our drinks so our son got up said we are ready. We never never been at a restaurant for more than 3 hours we got our drinks and food at once: the food was horrible undercooked one dish was burnt and our sons pizza was horrible we had to take him and all us through a drive thru Sad. She not once came to check on us till she was done with Togo orders or etc we just asked for the check left. She like you barley ate I wonder why she asked if we wanted boxes no. The restaurant was dead quiet one other table that's it she only charged us for one drink said sorry.

Avoid coming here!!! The woman working looked very stressed (as she seemed to be alone), so we gave the benefit of the doubt. Same lady took about 10 minutes to get us a menu, but did not take our order. Waited another 20 minutes, and still no one took our order. A few other parties entered shortly after, and they didn't get their orders taken either. We were very confused, because we thought maybe we had to order at the front? That's when we decided to just leave. When we left, we saw the lady sitting down at another table. Terrible service. UPDATE TO RESPOND TO RUDE OWNER: First of all, how rude of you to assume that we couldn't afford your sorry restaurant. How arrogant of you, and very uncalled for. I'd tell you to grow up, but clearly as a grown man... might be too late for that. "Less than 10 minutes" is actually an insane statement. If you have cameras, check your time stamps. You'll also probably see that we were not the only party to leave as another party, that sat themselves after us left as well. Your employee called for someone in the back for help, and that gentleman just stood behind the counter, very useful. :) My husband got up to ask for the menus, so yup she gave us menus and water when we got up and asked her where the menus were. If she had communicated with us and told us she was busy or backed up or even just gave us ANY kind of service, we wouldn't have minded the wait. Maybe learn basic customer service? I guess they wouldn't have the greatest teacher though, considering some of your responses to the reviews on here. If you didn't care about my 1 star review, you wouldn't have responded I couldn't careless if we are not welcomed back, good luck with your business.

I look forward to this place at least once a week for my favorite Green pizza-this a pesto vegetarian paradise Irena always makes me feel welcomed the moment I walk in for my to go order, she always remembers my glass of cabarnet while I wait lol. I have followed James Beard award winning Luciano from the Venetian all the way to here!! When he opened a pizza place I was like YASSSSSSSS!!!! While the food here might be passable to some, the fragile ego of the owner overshadows any potential enjoyment. If you're looking for a side of insecurity with your meal, this is the place for you. Don't bother offering feedback unless you want to witness a meltdown worthy of reality TV. If you decide to leave an honest review here regarding a negative experience, be prepared to get served a plate of tasteless insults as the business owner has a knack for labeling people broke and suggesting they stick with Dominos... Still want to eat here? Enjoy your meal, but don't forget to tiptoe around the owner's fragile self-esteem - it's the most delicate dish on the menu!

Tucked away in a pocket of Southern Highlands, is a sweet spot of Italian fare. Currently a few booths and a couple of tables to dine in, not fancy but hits just right; you know something good is coming from the kitchen. Pricing is great and doesn't gouge your pocket. The pies were excellent! My adult bevey was a pleasant treat given it was a little dreary outside and it tasted like spring/summer. Hubs and I were the only one dining in at the time so we were able to chat with the hostess...She had nothing but great things to say about the chef/owner Luciano Pellegrini who is a renowned chef. We love a little backstory with our meal so it was perfect...don't hesitate for your next Italian or pizza fix...this place is a keeper!

Exceptional Gastronomic Experience! Heavenly Pies is a hidden gem that reveals Chef Luciano's outstanding cuisine that yes, includes delectable pizzas (pies...) but you must try his fabulous apps -mozzarella, meatballs and polenta, antipasta salad and entrees that include traditional Italian favorites as well as Quail, Pumpkin Ravioli, Truffle Chicken Ravioli and and and... don't forget desert- red devil cake, fluffy mousses of pistachio and strawberry, tiramisu, cannolis and and (can you tell we can't wait to go back and try more of everything?) Irene's service was impeccable, mixing the perfect amount of care, with the knowledge of a seasoned professional. Chef Luciano was warm and friendly as if we entered his home and eager to please! We are excited to hear a bar and outdoor seating is in the works! Truly Exceptional !!

This is one of those hole in the wall places that makes their food from scratch. They took good care of us and were attentive. The recommendation of the Penne Shrimp Americana was on point. We were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures of the Fried Polenta & Marinara, Chicken Scaloppini, and a Pizza. It had intimate family feel to it and i would recommend it if you live in the Southern Highland area. Its a hidden treasure.
