We spent a night at Alte Post in Müllheim just like a slepover on our return from holidays in Provence. We did not know the hotel nor restaurant. But both - what a great surprise!
Dinner at their Hebelstube was a surprising and great experience.
As a starter, my wife had a beetroot soup and she was happy. I had absolutely brilliant marinated salmon trout with pumpkin and carrot garnish. My main course - pork loin with Hispi Cabbage and spaetzle was very good, but my wife's simple olive gnocchi with a sauce from grilled pepers and feta cheese with espuma from-who-knows-what? was just amazing...
This all accompanied by local wines was really really good.
Staff and service - could not be better. Very professional and extremely pleasant, nice and friendly.
Restaurant inside is very nice, but I think atmosphere could be a bit better by using less light and adding some quiet music.
In a nutshell: We will be very happy to come back
