"I report that Salero, the West Loop Spanish restaurant at 621 W. Randolph Street, will end its four-year run on New Year’s Eve after its owner failed to reach a lease extension with the landlord; the restaurant had recovered from a brief shutdown after a September fire, and chef Ashlee Aubin says he has no plans lined up after the closure.
