What a little gem! Great sandwich and soup menu. From vegan to not. Fresh local produce. Stepped up the counter and go, "What can I make for you?" It's on Christopher St. but way at the west end of it. Unfortunately off the beaten path, but way worth going a block and half out of your way for! Excellent food, even better service, and really friendly people. Will def be back.

The security guard wanted to charged us 10 dollars when the place was so empty at 2:20 am and was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Please don’t go there

Check this place out! Seriously, stop in. You'll be surprised. This is the ONLY place I shop for produce anymore. The prices are way lower than chain stores (like DAG or Gourmet Garage) and the produce is wicked fresh. Even in the winter they have phenomenal produce. But produce isn't it. There's a really great selection of local cheeses with very reasonable prices, and a whole bunch of staple durable goods as well. As a general rule, I always check this place for an item before I go somewhere else. If found dozens of new items at the recommendation of the super helpful staff; things I wouldn't have thought to try otherwise. The beer selection is small, but it's all high-end local and regional craft beer that's hard to find in the West Village. If you live near by, or just appreciate good food and supporting local business, stop in. You won't regret it.

Their (vegan) veggie meatloaf sandwich was the perfect hangover cure. When it was done I wanted to eat 5 more. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and quick to help. I didn't buy any of the grocery items, but they had a great variety. I will definitely be back!

Very clean and well organized food store featuring Hudson Valley farm produce with unique cocktails....get your produce, cheese and juices there and try the cocktails before dinner at Malatesta's up the street...The lady working at the front of the store is dynamite.

Great organic, local and delicious food! I use it as a supplementary grocery store in the West Village for fruit, eggs, veggies, etc. it's a real gem and they deserve to be found out!

Great selection - sort of a mini-Whole Foods vibe without the pricing or the pretense. The deli/sandwich selection is also excellent.
