Where To Go For A Summer Date - London - The Infatuation

"A cafe inside a retirement home might not scream romance, but Heidi’s courtyard is the kind of removed-from-the-city spot you see in every small town rom-com. Grab a coffee and some pastries (we’re fans of the shi-shi doughnut) and sit on one of the many tables outside this hidden courtyard in Chelsea. Sure, you might have a stranger insert themselves in your conversation to tell you that they’re fans of the chocolate chip cookie, but that only adds to the charm of this place." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak

24 Of The Best Outdoor Cafes In London - London - The Infatuation

"At Heidi, you get a sense that the people around you might not know what day of the week it is and you’ll forget too. The suntrap courtyard at this Chelsea cafe is big enough to gather all of your friends, and the display of pastries is tempting—get the shi shi doughnut." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

Heidi - Review - Chelsea - London - The Infatuation

"At Heidi, you get a sense that the people around you might not know what day of the week it is and after a relaxed coffee, you’ll forget too. In the charming suntrap courtyard, friends exchange funny stories about chaotic grandchildren and strangers strike up conversation with the table next to them about how good the shi-shi doughnut—a fluffy, twisted pastry covered in sugar—is. The big display of pastries is tempting, and it’s all pretty good without being groundbreaking. But that doesn’t matter because the peaceful courtyard is a good enough reason to come here. Just avoid coming at 3pm for a quiet catch-up—any regular knows that it’s when a performer arrives and proceeds to play music for an hour or so. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute Food Rundown Salads There are usually a few salads to choose from and they’re all pretty good. Choose from things like a Greek salad that’s 60% feta, or a freekeh salad filled with olives and roasted vegetables. We’re fans of them both. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Shi-Shi Doughnut Like a fancy version of a supermarket yum yum, this long twisted doughnut is dusted in sugar and is a real crowd-pleaser. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Chocolate Chip Cookie Thick and dense with chocolate shards, this is a little cakey in the middle and the edges are on the crispier side. It’s not the best cookie in London, but it’s a very decent coffee snack. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Mixed Berry & Crumble Danish The pastry is nice and buttery, but the custard is a little too thick and it needs a bit more fruit to cut through it. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Rianne Shlebak

The Heidi bakery is a recent find that I feel truly grateful to have stumbled upon. I have fast become a frequent visitor and find myself thinking about it when I am away. It truly is a special place. You will know exactly what I mean if you have visited. From the moment you walk into entrance, wander through the picturesque courtyard to the cafe door, you are met with the happy faces of the lovely staff along the way. Upon entering the bakery, you are welcomed with an enticing selection of the most delicious cakes and pastries you will ever see. I have tried them all and I have not yet been disappointed. In fact, they always exceed my expectations. They are truly a tantalising work of art. Ithman, made my coffee on my first visit and I always hope to see him when I go because not only are his coffee skills unmatched (his oat lattes are incredible!) but because of how happy, warm, attentive, and welcoming he is. His presence and kindness always makes the Heidi experience extra special. Heidi Chelsea is a rare gem hidden away in the heart of Chelsea. I always leave feeling peaceful, happy and most importantly, eager to return. A special mention to the crème brûlée croissant, almond croissant, jam doughnut and hazelnut cruffin- out of this world! The savoury delights are equally spectacular. I particularly adored the mushroom and garlic croissant!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a lovely spot! Heidi Café in Chelsea has great coffee — rich, smooth, and perfectly made — plus a delicious selection of fresh pastries that taste as good as they look. The setting is beautiful, calm, and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that makes it ideal for bringing your laptop on a quiet morning to get some work done. Prices are really reasonable for the area too. Definitely one of those hidden gems you’ll want to come back to again and again.

‏ We came across this place by chance, and it turned out to be such a lovely surprise! The staff were very welcoming, especially George who served us and the food was so delicious! We ordered shakshuka Croissant and dessert — both were amazing. The place has a beautiful vibe, and the atmosphere is really nice and comfortable. Highly recommend! 🌿✨

Lovely little coffee shop with a wide array of pastries and sweet treats. Located inside the entrance to the Royal Hospital, it provides a nice historical backdrop. Large seated terrace in the courtyard. Also houses a museum about the Royal Hospital and the Chelsea Pensioners.

Had a wonderful experience at Heidi Cafe,The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious fresh, full of flavour, and thoughtfully prepared. The dessert looked like a piece of art and tasted amazing, and the main dish was perfectly balanced with vibrant vegetables and great textures. A special mention to Ithmam and Suhan, who were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. Their warm service made the experience even more enjoyable.

Best coffee in London so far with very pleasant pastries. The chocolate hazelnut cruffin surely deserves their 3 stars great taste award. We came early morning and the ambiance is very calming and nice. Will definitely coming back and put this place in my food map!

Neighborhood gem! A much welcome addition to the neighborhood. The space is inviting, unique and the coffee/ pastry selection is delicious. I’ll have to come back to try their well-priced lunch special (£12.50 for a sandwich/ salad and drink). Bonus points for being dog-friendly.
