"Heimatis German for "homeland". After working in some prestigious kitchens, German chef-owner Peter Find reinterprets classics from his home country with sophistication, quality ingredients and dexterous care. The tasting menu takes diners on a journey across Germany with flavours from his childhood memories. Ask for the wine or juice pairing to accompany the food. And who can resist the gummy bear trolley at the end?" - Michelin Inspector

We had the Chef Story menu at Heimat by Peter Find, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, service is warm and attentive, and the price point is surprisingly reasonable for this level of cooking. The food was consistently well-executed — thoughtful flavors, clean presentation, and nothing disappointing throughout the menu. Two dishes stood out: the Wild Boar Ragout, which was rich, tender, and genuinely memorable, and the German Hand-Shaved Noodles, a unique and comforting touch that added character to the meal. That said, while everything tasted good, the menu as a whole didn’t leave many lasting impressions. It’s a smooth, harmonious dining experience, but without the kind of signature highlight that lingers after the evening ends. Still, it’s an enjoyable place for a relaxed and well-crafted dinner.

Helmet by Peter find Today we tried the fine dining experience with German dishes. The restaurant is so modern/cozy and atmosphere is calm and quiet. We had the restaurant week menu, $348 for three courses. Appetizer: 63 degree egg is very smooth, it is paired with deep fried onions and spinach puree, the texture is creamy with a bit crunchy onion, and spinach puree balance the strong flavor of onion. Appetizer: smoke salmon is very fresh, paired with apple radish salad and mustard, the dish is rather refreshing. Main: the signature dish is pork belly with Frankfurt & thuringer sausage and traditional saucerkraut The sausages are so crispy and juicy! The sausages are so delicious! And the pork belly is so smooth and tender! Lovely. Main: the whiting fish is cod today. It is pan fried with crispy skin , and the fish meat is tender, with aid of creamy sauce, the taste is gentle. Dessert: semolina pudding This semolina pudding got a very light creamy texture, it is more liquid than thick pudding, with the caramelised apple crumbles and cookies, it is lightly sweetened and tasty. Dessert: chocolate cake This chocolate cake got a very moist and smooth texture, the chocolate taste is very rich and rather smooth, but not overly sweetened. We had a good time, thank you.

Das ist sehr lecker 😍 we came to Heimat for third time yesterday night for the long journey menu. As usual, Chef Find never disappoints. Our favourite was the Königsberger Klops, it was comforting and delicious. The sea bass was cooked to perfection, the skin was crisp, meat was tender. Chef Find saw that we finished the spätzle quickly and like magic, there was another plate of spätzle on our table. Chef Find came to speak to us a lot, he was very warm and nice. Danke schön, du bist sehr warm und nett! I would like to come back next for Schnitzel Saturdays.

An amazing modern German restaurant which is definitely underrated! I would give 6 stars! Had the best birthday dinner with best food and service and small surprises! 👨🏻‍🍳Chefs are seasoned ex hotelier from Mandarin Oriental and Ritz Carlton. Technique is solid. 🍖Flavors are well balanced, not heavy as typical German food. 💁🏻Services was very friendly, accommodating. Chefs have come by for almost every course to explain the concept and ingredients, very engaging with customers. 🍽️Atmosphere: it’s comfortable, homey just like the name I will highly recommend for anyone who wants a treat!

When it comes to German cuisine, most people think of beer and sausages, right? 🍺🍖 A friend recommended **Heimat by Peter Finds**, promising it would change my perception of German food. After trying a few dishes, I was genuinely impressed! 😍 🥨 **Pretzel with Cream Cheese** The freshly baked pretzel had a slightly chewy crust and a soft interior, available in cheese and poppy seed flavors. Paired with herbed cream cheese, it was rich yet not overwhelming—absolutely köstlich (delicious)! 😋 🐟 **Smoked Ocean Trout | Apple Radish Salad | Mustard** This dish was a feast for both the eyes and palate. The tender, smoky trout carried a subtle wood aroma, complemented by a refreshing apple-radish salad and a hint of mustard. Each bite was a harmonious balance of flavors. 🍎🥗 🍜 **Hand-shaved German Noodle | Mushroom Ragout** I’ve had Chinese knife-cut noodles, but German hand-shaved noodles were a first! The chewy, slightly firm noodles paired perfectly with a rich mushroom and cheese ragout. The earthy mushroom flavor blended seamlessly with the noodles—simple yet thoughtful. 🍄 🍮 **Quark Cheese Mousse | Berries Compote | Vanilla Crumble** The dessert was a bit underwhelming. The quark cheese mousse lacked flavor, and while the berry compote and vanilla crumble were decent, they didn’t stand out. 🍓🍰 Other desserts might be more memorable. Overall, a delightful experience that redefined German cuisine for me!

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the restaurant with very fine food and good wines. The beef with beetroot was our most favourite dish and the prawn starter was well executed. The ravioli pasta was a bit al dente, which is not sure to be such style, but the filling was good with fine consumme to compliment. The John Dory was slightly overcooked but flavour and texture was still good. The boar was very good with homey flavour and went well with the cut noodles. The lamb was cooked and went well with the sauce but has a hint of muttony smell, which was the only dish let me down a little bit. However, I may be a bit picky on this dish as I'm not a lamb lover. The dessert was classic and well executed. The gelly candies were an interesting and well flavoured treat to wrap up the dinner. The wine choices were very diversified, which enabled me to find the wines to be very interesting and well match with the food. The services definitely matched the standard of the restaurant and we're well treated. Again, the restaurant offered honest and high standard food with true celebration of German produce. Wish the restaurant keeps on striving.

A Taste of Modern German Fine Dining in Hong Kong I recently discovered a hidden gem in Hong Kong that completely changed my perception of German cuisine. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the stylish and elegant decor, the warm and attentive service, and most importantly—the innovative, modern takes on traditional German dishes. 🥨 The Best Pretzel I’ve Ever Had My meal began with a classic German favorite—the pretzel. But this was no ordinary pretzel. It was the most delicious bretzel I’ve ever tasted, perfectly baked with a soft, chewy inside. Paired with a smooth sour cream, it was presented in such a cute and charming way that made the experience even more delightful. 🤍 Seasonal White Asparagus: A Perfect Start Next, I tried a dish from the Seasonal White Asparagus Menu that Chef Peter personally recommended: Organic Poached Egg with Roasted White Asparagus, Black Forest Ham, Parmesan Foam, and Hazelnut. The moment I smelled it, I knew I was in for something special. The white asparagus was sweet and tender, the Black Forest ham was incredibly flavourful and tender, and the Parmesan foam added a light, creamy, tasty touch. The poached egg tied everything together beautifully, making it a perfect harmony of tastes and textures. 🥣 Comfort in a Bowl: White Asparagus Cream Soup Before the main course, Chef Peter kindly served me a bowl of White Asparagus Cream Soup. Light yet creamy, this soup highlighted the natural sweetness of the asparagus and was the perfect comforting start to the meal. 🍝 The Star Dish: Hand-Shaved Käsespätzle The highlight of my meal was the Käsespätzle—hand-shaved German noodles with caramelized onions and mountain cheese foam. The spätzle was slightly fried to golden colour incredibly chewy, richer than usual thanks to extra eggs, and paired wonderfully with the sweet caramelized onions. The mountain cheese potato foam added a luxurious, creamy finish, was an unexpected delight that enhanced the dish’s richness. Finding authentic spätzle in Hong Kong is rare, and this was by far the best I’ve ever had. 🍰 A Contemporary Twist on Black Forest Cake For dessert, I indulged in Schokoladen Kuchen with Kaffee Creme and Sauerkirschen—essentially a Black Forest cake reimagined. The chocolate cake was rich and moist, highlighted perfectly by the amazing white coffee cream, which was infused by soaking coffee beans overnight to extract flavor without color. The sour cherries added a refreshing tartness, rounding out the dessert beautifully. 💯 Elegant Ambiance and Attentive Service The restaurant’s muted color palette of blue and dusty orange created a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. It’s an ideal spot for both casual and corporate dinings. Chef Peter’s personal introduction to the dishes made the experience even more special, showcasing his passion and expertise. ✨Looking Forward to More This visit convinced me that German cuisine is so much more than just sausages and sauerkraut. I’m already planning to return to try their Chicken Schnitzel and Seebarsch (sea bass). With Father’s Day coming up, this elegant spot will definitely be on my list for a special celebration.

I came for dinner a few times and first time for lunch. Service & Food is excellent as usual and highly recommend to try. Dolores is very knowledgeable about wines and super attentive!
