We were delighted with this family run hotel and recommend it. The location good and parking is easy. We paid for a slightly better room with great views of the lake. For around €200 per night including breakfast it was excellent value.||The staff are very professional and dinner is strongly recommended. Lots of people came just to dine. It clearly has one of the best kitchens in the area. Wine can be bought by a two glass measure as well as per bottle. We liked this.||You are very well placed to visit the top sites on the northern side of the lake. We were pre season with ferries and some sites just preparing to open in April. We saw this as an advantage because everywhere less crowded, parking was easy and walks peaceful.||Really good example of family run business.

If you are debating which location of the extensive BodenSee, you should visit, this is your place. We had an amazing experience! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. The room was spotless and comfortable. The view of Bodensee from our room and the restaurant terrace was quite stunning. Notably, the fresh cool lake breezes that drifted through our open windows at night was simply refreshing. Lastly, experiencing the well deserved Michelin star restaurant completely enhanced our stay. Our server was excellent and the food was outstanding.

Heinzler am See is a true gem. The food is consistently outstanding, with top quality and great attention to detail. The staff are warm, welcoming, and highly professional. And the location? Absolutely stunning — right at the beautiful Lake Constance, with a unique and peaceful atmosphere. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy life.

We come here for dinner every time we come to town. The food and view is incredible. Great place.

Incredible location steps from the lake with views of the snow covered alps. The rooms are well appointed and have a traditional and modern feel. The restaurant has great service with a large selection of local wines and specialty foods from the region. The hotel is a small piece of paradise and a great place for vacation or business stays.

We came here just for dinner and it was delicious. Child and dog friendly! Will definitely come here again!

5 stars for the location, get a table outside and you'll have a beautiful view over the Lake of Constance. We went on a stunner off a summer day and this might have been the problem. The place was packed to capacity and it felt that there were just not enough service personnel and everything was rushed and a bit chaotic. One main arrived 10-15 mins after all the others were served (and the waiter was made aware of it), wine glasses were not filled for a long time, and the service just didn't feel on point. The food had some good and some average. The starters were all great and in hindsight the highlight of the meal. Some of the mains were tasty and well executed dishes matching the expectations for the price category, others though were a bit disappointing in flavour as well as presentation for a restaurant in this slightly elevated price category. Overall 4 stars for the food, 3 for the service (I imagine it to be better if the restaurant is not so packed) and 5 for the location.

Delicious food, high quality ingredients, great service (friendly and very efficient), excellent view, great atmosphere, this restaurant shall definitely be in the michelin guide. The whole experience was great and the food amazing. Prices are fair not as expensive as a Micheline guide restaurant and definitely comparable quality. A place to come back!

Excellent location near the lake. Service was excellent and food was great. I would recommend it to anyone in mood for a good food, locations and service at a reasonable price.
