Helea Lifestyle Beach Resort

Good distance from the airport (15 minutes by taxi), plenty of space poolside and on the private beach. Food was brilliant, lots of variety and opportunity to try Greek dishes at the buffet and at the 4 on-site restaurants. Staff around mealtimes are not always the most attentive but always friendly and happy to help. Rooms were spacious and beautifully modern, with 2 TVs in our suite and the ability to cast to them. Also brilliant WiFi connectivity throughout the resort. Even on the beach 😄

We recently stayed for 7 nights in a Junior Suite with Sea View room. Firstly we cannot understand the negative reviews of this resort, we simply could not understand them. Our room was well worth paying a little extra for the additional space and view. Room was modern, clean and cleaned everyday. Only small niggles about the room, the coffee machine was impossible to operate, the air-conditioning can be a little noisy and not much sound proofing from the corridor which was very noisy in the mornings. The hotel grounds were spotless. Always managed to get a sunbed, however the pools are very cold. Previous reviews mentioned long waiting times at the bars, we never experienced, sometimes served straight away, max wait 5-10 mins. Previous reviews also mention staff are rude, quite the opposite, they were so friendly and welcoming. Food in the restaurants was fab, plenty of variety. We booked 2 A la carte restaurants with no issues and the food was superb! Street food was excellent. Plenty of variety of entertainment in various bars in the evening. Previous reviews mention issues with lifts and waiting times, we witnessed no issues at all?? Overall, we had the perfect holiday and 100% will be back!

We stayed 11 days at Helea Beach Lifestyle Resort and had such a great time! The resort is beautiful, very clean and has plenty of pools as well as a private beach. Everything feels stylish and relaxing. The all-inclusive food and drinks were really good! So much variety that we never got bored. Some days stood out more than others, but it was always tasty. The à la carte restaurants were also worth a visit, and we loved the free cocktails, especially inside at the bar. A special shout-out to Katarina from the restaurant. She welcomed us with a big smile every day and gave us wonderful tips about the island. She made our holiday feel extra special. We would definitely recommend this resort and can easily see ourselves coming back in the future!

We just returned from our 10 days stay at Helea hotel. Overall we had a great vacation but can’t give 5 stars. Despite a very friendly staff, it definitely misses some details in order to qualify for a 5* hotel, especially for the price we paid for. We started our stay on the wrong foot as we had booked a junior suite with sea view to realize that the “sea” was actually the roof of the building in front of ours. Luckily the hotel reacted fast and we got another room the day after. It also misses a few things for a high standard hotel such as: - housekeeping was usually done between 4pm and 5pm in our room. It’s too late. - we often had to ask for additional towels as the dirty ones would be removed but not replaced. - there is no hair conditioner or body lotion provided. - on our way from our room to the pool we had to walk next to the hot stinky air coming out of the kitchen. - buffet food is very repetitive, often rather cold and not very qualitative. - the pool side is very slippery, quite dangerous with children. Having said that, the good weather, nice staff and variety of activities offered allowed us to have a nice stay!

Amazing hotel right in front of the beach. Our room was a sea view. Food was good with great choice in the buffet but it was hard to book the other restaurants for the included experiences since they were often fully book several days in advance. This is great for families. Has great facilities for kids and entertainment all day and night. The staff is super friendly and kind and it does have a great selection of cocktails done with quality drinks that we enjoyed every evening ( included in the all inclusive experience) Its a 15 min drive to town if you want to check the city and the b each area is lovely. We will be coming back next season for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Halea resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the crew made us feel right at home. Their warmth and professionalism were evident in every interaction. The hotel’s facilities are truly impressive: the expansive pool is perfect for both relaxation and fun, and the beachfront area is absolutely stunning. The variety of facilities, including the serene spa, well-equipped gym, and delightful dining options, all exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic, with a diverse menu that catered to every palate. What truly stood out, however, was how the entire team made us feel welcome and comfortable with our baby. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and room service, everyone went above and beyond, making us feel like part of a big family. Hotel is very nice and elegant, however not a 5stars. Rooms are very tiny, if you stay three persons in one room it’s difficult to even move in the room. Bathroom is very small. Rooms with the view of the entertain area are loud at the evening till 10pm. Hotel in general is quite large, however the areas like lobby bar, main restaurants are very crowded. In the time during the rain, there is always long queue for breakfast/dinner and in the lobby bar is very hard to find any place to sit. Plus there is always a long queue to the lobby bar at the evening. Service is only on the terrace next to the lobby bar, which is slow and rarely anyone is interested to take an order, faster to wait in the queue. Actually because of the service I gave only 3stars. Service at this hotel is terrible. Some of the staff in the main restaurant is rude. Some receptionists don’t understand english or pretend to not understand to not help with the issue. One time at the greek restaurant we were waiting for a dessert around an hour and after asking for it, we received two desserts for four persons. No one was paying attention to us, so we just left. During the leaving we’ve got the explanation that it was because „they are fully booked today”… Cleaning service is just taking the trash, changing the towels (which are white and rarely really clean), making the beds, so if you stay two weeks you need to swipe the dust from the desk by yourself, none is speaking english so it is even hard to ask for anything. Two weeks in this hotel - not recommended.

Beautiful resort, but very disappointing service – definitely not 5-star quality We spent our vacation in this hotel on Rhodes and, unfortunately, we cannot recommend it despite the beautiful and well-maintained resort. For the price you pay here, we expected much better service and professionalism. Positive: • The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained. • The overall appearance and location are excellent. Negative and disappointing: • Upon arrival, there was no hairdryer in our room – quite unusual for a 5-star hotel. • When we checked in, we found clothes in our room that did not belong to us. I reported this immediately to the reception, but nobody came to collect them. In the end, I had to take the clothes down to the reception myself. • One evening, after coming back from the beach, our room had been cleaned but we were left with no fresh towels. I had to go down to reception three times and only after insisting firmly did someone finally bring us towels. • On the morning of our checkout, there was a complete power outage, and we had to wait 30 minutes before anyone came to resolve the issue. • There was no goodwill or gesture of apology when we raised our concerns upon arrival. • The elevators are a nightmare: out of three, only one was working, which meant extremely long waiting times. Conclusion: The resort itself is stunning, but the service and organization are far from what you would expect from a 5-star hotel, especially for the price you pay. Sadly, we cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.
