"Founded in 2012, Helen has already made a name for itself among the fish restaurants of well-heeled Paris. The menu features only wild fish sourced from fishermen who bring in the catch of the day on small boats, which is then lovingly and simply prepared. Rather than fussy frills, the goal is to enhance natural seafood flavours (the fish is served raw, grilled, seared on a plancha, steamed, etc.) – heaven for seafood lovers! The menu varies depending on availability, for example a carpaccio of seabream with lemon caviar, marinaded sardines, young turbot roasted in sage and pancetta, red mullet à la meunière… Everything is a masterclass in precision and know-how and some fish are even filleted and served tableside. The elegant dining room, perfectly at one with this understated ethos, sports a modern, minimalist vibe… Helen is the quintessence of elegant simplicity." - Michelin Inspector

It’s one of my favorite cafe’s in Paris. I love the cozy and welcoming ambiance and especially recommend trying their pumpkin spice latte. 🎃It was so delicious as they make their own hand-made sauce. Plus, all of their pastries are sooo good! 🧁🍪🍨🍮Also keep in mind during the weekdays, as they’re allowing laptops, you might wait for a little bit.

Such a cute little coffee shop! I tried their matcha and cookies — both were delicious and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service (cheers to Elise). Will definitely be back!

Everything at Helen's book was good. From the homemade pastries to the coffee, and the nice owner. I got the pistachio roll and the hazelnut spread cookie for my kid, both were really good. My only complaint is that I wish the pistachio roll had more pistachio spread on top!

I've just discovered this vegan café. I bought four pastries, ate two and they tasted amazing - not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. Very friendly service. I will most definitely come back!

Very cute cafe with lots of vegan and GF options! The pastries are very good and the employees are super friendly. I’d recommend it to anyone anytime really. Whether your vegan or not, whether you’re a matcha or a coffee person, you will definitely find your slice (or sip) of heaven 🤩

really beautiful place. I took 2 cookies and a piece of cake. The black sesame cookie with strawberry jam was incredible. A MUST TRY!!! The pistachio cookie was good and chewy. I like it too. But the cake was not my taste. They serve generous portions tho.

I've been visiting this place for over a year now. It's a great laptop-friendly coffee shop—except after 14:00 on weekends, which is totally reasonable. Most people on weekends are just looking to enjoy a cup of coffee and something sweet, and it's fair to keep tables available for them instead of being occupied for hours. Keep up the good work!

I love Helen’s Book!! The baked goods are incredible, the coffees are delicious, and the vibe is so chill. I even took a few goodies (a noisette cookie and a cinnamon roll) to-go to enjoy later :) I’ve been a couple times now (once to catch up with a friend and once to get a bit of work done on my laptop).
