Hello Chicken

Everything was fresh and made to order. The ladies took their time to prepare my meal. I was happy because the salad was flavorful and so fresh. I liked the chicken and potato empanadas and the chicken wings were crispy not chewy. The fries had a little breading which made them quite crunchy 😊

I wanted a chicken wrap so decided to look around the area. I found this place looking around current position. I arrived as soon as they opened. Ordered the Dorian Chicken Wrap and saw they had Empanadas so got an order of those as well. Empanadas were delicious and can tell were from scratch. Dorian Chciken wrap was right in the middle for my preference. Was stuffed but missing flavor.

We love Hello Chickens vegetarian/vegan options. We always get the Medellin bowls and vegan empanadas. Good portion sizes and delicious!

When we entered we saw that the restaurant was completely empty but the staff was welcoming and helped with the order. The food was hot and delicious. The minute I picked up that chicken, the meat literally fell off the bone and that indicated that it was really well cooked. The plantains were amazing and the spicy sauce complimented the chicken (if you like spicy). The flan was wobbly and scrumptious. It was not overly sweet. The only thing that didn't feel right was the use of paper plates when we were dining in but it didn't stop us from enjoying the food.

Hello Chicken is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. Everything we ordered was awesome. I super like that they have a dedicated vegan menu. The vegan Medellin mix is awesome, Dorian Gray wrap is so good as well. The hula fries were a bit on the dry side but it’s very forgivable since everything else was phenomenal.

Like many of our restaurant choices, the Yelp Charlotte Top 100 list for 2019 led us here. Covid-19: you can order and pay over the phone. They don't do curbside pickup, but employees were wearing masks and there was no one else in the restaurant when I went in to get my takeout. I got the Chicken Dorian Bowl and added sides of sweet plantains and yucca. I really enjoyed the flavor of the Chicken Dorian Bowl. It was a huge portion too, I should have saved some for later. The chicken was a little dry, so I would probably see if I could do dark meat next time. I love yucca and sweet plantains and these were no exception. The portion size seemed really small for the price though. The small portion had 4 yucca fries for $4 and 6 plantains for $4. Make sure to try their sauces. They were my favorite part. The yellow was my favorite followed by the green. It reminded me a bit of Viva Chicken, so if you've been there, you should give Hello Chicken a try.

The food is pretty great for the price, though I wish the vegan menu was a bit bigger. I love all the veggie options, but I'm not a big fan of their vegan chicken — tastes like Morningstar chikn, which isn't my fave. Everything else is great though. The vegan empanadas and Medellin mix are my favorite !!

A hidden gem! The food is authentic and DELICIOUS! Fresh ingredients, made to order and the service is excellent. This is my second time and I can’t sing its praises enough. If you’re even CONSIDERING stopping by, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. The plantains…🤤 I just wish it was closer to us! And by the way, Viva Chicken is amazing yes, but doesn’t even hold a candle to the food coming out of this place!
