I just stumbled across this hidden gem, and wow… I’m so glad I did. Every single thing I tried was packed with flavor and made fresh with real care. I started with the Caesar salad topped with their mild chicken, and let me tell you—the chicken here is on another level. Tender, soft, perfectly juicy, and seasoned just right. I also ordered Combo #1 with mild chicken, and it did not disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection, and you can taste the quality in every bite. And their sauce on tip gives it an extra kick. And of course, I couldn’t leave without trying something sweet… so I grabbed their strawberry banana funnel cake with ice cream on top. It was heavenly—warm, fluffy, fruity, crunchy and the cold ice cream just tied everything together beautifully. One thing that really makes this spot stand out is that they offer vegan and vegetarian options, making it a place where everyone can enjoy a good meal. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. Overall, this place isn’t just good—it’s memorable. Food is amazing! The Nashville chicken style is soo good. I had the spicy chicken wrap with curly fries, buffalo chicken wings, Greek chicken salad and Oreo overload funnel cake! This was a perfect balanced meal to me! The portions are huge and good for sharing. The cashier/crew are very friendly, I love how they provide sanitizer and paper towel on each tables. The atmosphere/ambiance is clean and you can watch your favorite sports here while hanging out. I will definitely comeback to try the different menu.

The food was delicious! If you like spicy its definitely super super spicy! We only tried level hot! The salads were such a surprise they were soooo good! It has fresh grated Parmesan cheese! The chicken was nice and juicy!

Location wise it’s in a good area with decent amount of parking. The server was really nice, helpful, and gave me a lot of recommendations. My favorite one from the menu were the Buffalo Lemon Pepper Boneless Wings and the Fried Oreos with ice cream. Overall, great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back ❤️

Great hot chicken shop in the valley (sunland, to be exact). Easy to find and park at, as it’s located in a strip mall. Very friendly and helpful staff - I was able to sample the x hot spice level before deciding on regular hot. What we ordered: 1) loaded fries - loaded with *flavor*! 2) chicken wrap and waffle fries - wrap was loaded with chicken and waffle fries were perfectly crispy and flavored 3) Armenian salad - a nice, refreshing alternative to all the meat offerings…perfect for vegans 4) deep fried Oreos - classic dessert to top off a very savory meal Will be back for our hot chicken fix when back in the valley next! I placed a pretty large order: •Chicken wrap – Extra Hot •Loaded fries – Hot •12 wings (half mango habanero, half honey sriracha) •Strawberry banana funnel cake with a vanilla & chocolate ice cream swirl For the amount of food I ordered, I was genuinely impressed by how quickly everything came out. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy. It was efficient, hot, and ready to go. That kind of speed with this many items is something I always notice and appreciate. Let’s get straight into the Extra Hot chicken wrap, because this needs to be addressed properly. I have a high spice tolerance and this heat level still caught me off guard. This is not “Extra Hot” as a marketing label. This is a legit, no-nonsense heat! Haha. The spice hits early, builds steadily, and lingers. WHICH I LOOOVE. I was truly impressed because this wasn’t even their hottest heat level! Makes me wonder if I can go even hotter. What really stood out, though, is that the wrap didn’t rely on heat alone. Even through the intensity, the flavor still came through. That balance is hard to pull off, and Hell’s Chicken nailed it. If you’re debating between heat levels; Extra Hot is not for casual spice fans. The waffle fries that came with the wrap deserve a mention as well. They were perfectly crispy and definitely on the saltier side, but in the best way, especially when paired with the intense heat of the Extra Hot wrap. The saltiness actually worked as a contrast, balancing out the spice and making them dangerously easy to keep reaching for between bites. The loaded fries in hot were the perfect middle ground. Crispy, well-seasoned, generously topped, and spicy without being overwhelming. It had the most tasty dressing that complemented the meal perfectly. That sauce is actually addictive, just a warning! Compared to the wrap, these felt indulgent and comforting. It’s still flavorful, still warm with heat, but much more approachable. They paired well with everything else and held up bite after bite. The wings were honestly the highlight of the entire meal. The mango habanero sauce was unlike any other mango habanero flavor I’ve had. The wings had a great sweet-heat balance, with a super fruity brightness that made them easy to keep eating. The habanero heat was present but controlled, letting the mango shine without being cloying. But wow the honey sriracha wings?!?! Absolutely the standout. These were, without question, my favorite dish! Sticky, glossy, perfectly coated, and incredibly balanced. Sweet, and spicy in a way that felt intentional and addictive. I’m usually super underwhelmed when I have any sriracha flavored wings elsewhere because they absolutely do not taste like real sriracha. But THESE, these definitely did and I’m obsessed with the flavor. Every bite delivered, and these are the wings I’d come back for again and again. If you only order one flavor, make it honey sriracha. After all that heat, the strawberry banana funnel cake was exactly what I needed. Warm, extra crispy funnel cake paired with a vanilla and chocolate ice cream swirl. It created the ideal hot and cold contrast. The fresh strawberries and banana slices added brightness and sweetness without overpowering the dessert. It was perfect. It genuinely rounded out the meal and helped reset after the spice marathon! Food is fantastic! Can’t go wrong with any of the fries whether it’s the regular, curly, or waffle. Mild and hot are good choices for flavor and it’s not too spicy for the average person. Better than Dave’s hot and Wingstop for sure and great employees. Included complimentary soft serve after one of us ordered dessert.

The fattoush salad is a PERFECT compliment and balance. The acid cuts right through the heaviness of the fried chicken / breading. Ingredient quality is honestly pretty good, my stomach and body don't feel like death after a big meal here. The strawberry funnel cake with soft serve are legit. Their hot wings are great. Are there better restaurants and visions of this type of food? Sure, but for this AREA, it's unbeatable, and the mix of fresh vegetarian items is unique. I'll be back. The place seemed to have some Mediterranean influence and really embodied the firey vibe through the inside decor. I ordered the house salad which, I know, already loses me so credibility here, but I wanted to still try the chicken so I added a tender. The tender was ok. The quality of chicken was average as I got some chewy pieces but overall it was good. They cut up the tender, which I didn't love maybe that was my fault and I should have gotten it on the side. I asked for dressing on the side and they seemed to forget. The salad itself had way too much onion and no lettuce as you would expect from a house salad. So I ended up leaving half the salad and it cost over $20. On the menu there was no description of ingredients either. The highlight of the place was the portion of the salad which was huge. It might have been a better experience, had I ordered something more conventional.

I love chicken tenders and this place checks all the boxes I am looking for in a comfort food. Yes, it can be oily, spicy, and not so healthy but it is good to know that I can have other choices aside from other typical fast foods. People are nice and the place is overall clean including the restroom! It's easy to order.

This might be my new favorite place for hot chicken. This was my first time trying this place. I drive by it all the time in Sunland. The workers were nice and explained how their menu worked as I haven't been here before. Once I know what to order, I tried the Mild flavor just to be on the safe side. I ordered their basic sandwich as a baseline. The size of the chicken piece was a decent size. It was long enough to fit in an entire roll. The chicken has good spice, and the flavor was strong but not too over powering. The fries were warm and crispy. They have a good size dining area. They also have outdoor seating, for your preference. Also, they were playing a decent selection of music as well. It was a pleasant experience eating here. Next time I come back I will up the spice level and try some of their other signature dishes.

big shoutout to the gentleman who took the time to make this ginormous yummy delicious overloading fulfilling Oreo funnel cake!!! you absolutely satisfied my cravingssss!! i was craving a funnel cake and this was sooo good!! this funnel cake was just as good as the ones they sell at six flags. the toppings were melting in my mouth!! crunchy Oreos dipped with ice cream was so good! I haven't been to any other places that go above and beyond with their menus! 10/10 best funnel cakes!

solid hot chicken place with a big variety of items on their menu to try out! parking in a shopping plaza i got the 2 tenders, my partner got 1 tenders & 1 sandwich combo. the portions were loaded & generous amount of fries. i liked how staff gave us a bottle of their sauce too whereas most places will charge extra which is a perk. food is on the pricier end. they do not play with spice. i love spicy food & i like how they are not shy with their spice levels. would love to come back to try more of their items especially since they open late for those late night cravings!

Passing through, with a long way to drive, we decided to try our bet on Hell's Chicken. The name is fun, and implies this must have some fire chicken. First of all, don't let this dissuade you from trying this joint. There is a chicken option for everyone. Mild - XXspicy. We walked on the wild side and ordered the loaded mashed potato's with XSPICY. Sooo good, and sooo hot. We would up ordering the chicken quesadilla, a chicken sandwich regular spice (just right!) and a protein style chicken wrap. The criss cut fries are crispy and well seasoned. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor was bursting. Don't stop there, the deep friend Oreos and Oreo funnel cake with soft serve ice cream was so delectable. We were already full by the time we ordered this, but as a passerby we didn't want to miss out on this treat. Even though we had to ask the server to roll us out via wheel barrel, we didn't regret a single bite. Enjoy :)

We're talking crispy seasoned fries loaded with mac & cheese, juicy chopped tenders, and smothered in their signature "Hell's Sauce" -- that stuff is dangerously good. The chicken was seasoned well and super tender. The mac & cheese added a creamy layer that paired perfectly with the fries, and that sauce... oh, that sauce. The food is always a hit. Sometimes the service is slow but it's not a big deal. Big fan of the wall art as well, always a good vibe.

First time here but not last time. I love how they have different levels of heat, but I wish they were a bit clearer on what is considered hot and what isn't. Like I got mild, and it was hardly hot at all and if that was going to be the case, I would've just asked for no seasoning (which is also a level). So, maybe add something to the menu that suggests what the spice level is. I got the fries, Mac n' cheese, and chicken combo with cheese. I know it sounds like a lot and they do give very generous portions, but it was really, really good! Seriously, I didn't think Mac n cheese, French fries, and nuggets sounded like a good combo but it really is. There was a bit of a wait, but it's because they make it super fresh as you order. The ambiance is more of a casual dining and a lot of people just picking up food to go. A little loud because of the music but nothing louder where you can't have a regular conversation. Overall, I do recommend! Will be back.

Best chicken in town! They always recognize my sister and say hi. Very good service and I love that you can sit inside or outside.

Food is okay. You can taste the old oil. Prices are on the higher side for the quality of food they serve. My biggest issue is that the place is DIIIRTY! Every table has some kind of grime or sticky surface. The place looks run down and if you take a peak in the back, it makes you question your choices.

This is the Best Chicken in California. If you like Nashville Chicken, this is The Spot. Husband and I come here at least once every week and Everything is so good!

Since they went Vegan this place has became better, I order a vegan chicken sandwich no coleslaw and no cheese And there sauce is vegan !! Very good portioned!

I love this place! I eat there twice a week for a couple years now. I keep trying different things on the menu and I've never had a bad meal here. The chicken is amazing. It comes in 6 levels of hot. The sauce is homemade and better than ChicFilA sauce. The fries are good they season them. They even have unique and delicious desserts made with Oreo cookies. The bathroom is clean, plenty of free parking, no lines. They have big TVs to watch while you eat. The staff is very polite, they bring your meal to you. Lots of tables even an outdoor patio. Would definitely recommend, it's one of the better hot chicken places for sure.

Love this place! Usually having Nashville quesadilla and it always hits the mark. Very cozy place, nice and welcoming atmosphere, food is always good and fresh, great choice of spiciness levels from none to molten rocks. And they're open much later than everyone else around. Highly recommend!

So happy we went to this place! First, their service is amazing. They were understanding on every request and seemed happy to help and to be there. Second the food is freaking amazing. The sauce is nothing to sleep on , it's the perfect topping to the fries and chicken. Lastly please do yourself a favor and get the loaded Oreos. If you come here you will not be disappointed

The food is great! I always order to go, and last couple of times, the same guy picks up the phone and takes my order and is always super nice. Even when I popped in after a gig in my clown makeup, he kept his cool. Haha Never caught his name (tall guy) is always a great guy! The food and the customer service is what keeps the family coming back!

I wanted to try this place one more time. Apparently same expectation as last time! Chicken was so so! But let me tell you about the quality of this funnel cake, my kids were looking forward! Ran out of whipped cream! Or didn't want to open another one. It's not crispy or airy, a funnel cake is crispy and airy and doughy once masticated. This made me want to throw it away and not eat it! Waste of money! Just to mention purchase 2 and they only made me one, and until I told them I purchase two they did this ugly one. Unacceptable and not presentable. I saw the boh preparing it super fast, same person attending the foh was fixing the food and delivering, his finger prints were on the plate! Thank you! I was looking forward to this but my expectations weren't meant! -.-

I don't usually leave reviews but...what...the..f. We ordered tenders, waffle fries, and fried pickles. The fries and pickles were BURNT af like the pickles are basically black almost and the fries are more like a chip. Super disappointed but the chicken was ok, nothing crazy good but at least edible. But, i hate to waste food so we'll eat what we can and overall probably wouldn't be back or recommend to anyone.

10/10 vegan food - honestly one of the best things I've ever had and not exaggerating!!! Though it's not very clear from their in-store or online menus, this place DOES have extensive vegan options. They have a relatively new street sign that says "vegan" and when I went inside, they explained that just about anything that is listed as chicken on the menu can be swamped out with fried/breaded cauliflower (and they also swap out the mayo, honey, etc. with vegan replacements). My wife and I split the Nashville chicken wrap and the portion was so big that we didn't even finish it in one sitting. Everything was 10 out of 10. There were just delicious flavors...the sauces were next level, the cauliflower was cooked absolutely perfectly, the breaded part of the wrap was grilled and just enough to keep it wrapped and you barely noticed the bread part because they don't cheat you out of a super-stuffed filling. The waffle fries were freshly made and perfect. Based on my first impression of their menu, I thought perhaps they just had a couple vegan items they threw on there just to cater (which is nice of any establishment - not complaining :) ), but here they really, really actually care about making a delicious meal. I will definitely come back here to get the Nashville chicken wrap vegan version as well as other vegan variations on their other items. I hope this review will bring others who are looking for a vegan meal because unfortunately - as of writing this - I don't see any other reviews on their Yelp page for their vegan items, but rest assured you won't be disappointed! If people didn't already know by now...vegan food can be delicious. All food - vegan or non-vegan, obviously just comes down to the way it's cooked and the flavors and this chicken-based establishment proves that. It's also nice that they're open so late every day!

Didn't get a chance to try the food because I wanted to order and try the hot chicken sandwiches says he couldn't sell them without ordering a combo felt like it was a rip off place wasn't clean anyway they should really dial their menu. Don't waste your time here if you're coming for a sandwich, they're gonna be very disappointed. They're gonna buy fries are more food than you need.

We drove by here and decided to try it out. It turned out to be a pretty decent place. Because of Covid we sat outside to eat. There were 8 tables you could sit at. The inside was clean and if you get a drink they have to pour it for you. Parking was fairly easy since it is in a lot with other places. The food was seasoned excellently! I got the mild and my husband got the hot we both loved our combos! It was much better than expected! If we ever find ourselves in this part of town we will revisit this great chicken place! I came in here a little bit before they closed. A homeless man walked in and asked if they had any extra food. The owner, without hesitation gave the homeless man a bag filled with food. Not only was the food great but the management/staff is as well. Definitely will be back.

If you haven't tried Hells Chicken, it's a must. It's made to order so there is a wait. Just like anything else that tastes great in this world. You can't rush food for the soul. The portions are generous and the chicken is cooked to perfection. That's second to the service the guys offer at this establishment. The crew running this place cater to you. Just give them a try and enjoy their food if craving hot chicken.

...don't stare down customers. first time here and wasn't sure what to get. i was craving waffle fries and ended up getting a sandwich combo with waffle fries, asked for mild, got home and can't even eat it cause it was too spicy. checked the receipt and she put it down as "hot". awkward service and it may be an off day for her but wasn't worth $25. won't come back

Unfortunately the food is really underwhelming here. This is the first hot chicken sandwich that I didn't enjoy. At least the fried Oreos were decent. Not awful, but nothing made me want to return.

The place looks a bit dirty. Service is very good and the food was just ok. We order spicy chicken strip we were told they'd be hot like hot Cheetos but they weren't even close to being hot but everyone's taste is different. Fries were ok nothing special. The main thing is that this place needs a makeover.

The chicken itself is not bad, but the overall quality has gone down significantly compared to before. I ordered a double mac attack (which I have had many times before) and it came out with burned bread and with not many fries. I went again today, and got the same thing. The bread wasn't burned, but the sandwich was not wrapped remotely well. Attached is a picture of the borderline pathetic amount of fries I got (this was every single fry, spaced out). The workers I interact with are very nice, and the wait time is not bad, but the quality has definitely gone down recently and quite frankly, so few fries is worse than just not giving me any at all.

I went here one night to get an order of wings and I asked first if they had any with mild sauce and they replied of course so I ordered a dozen of wings to go. The sauce on the wings were super spicy, it took my breath away, I was gasping for air, the person probably thought what a joke to play on me, but I will never go back to this place again ! I am giving them three stars due to the place being new and for having the wings super spicy and living up to the name of Hell's.

Hells chicken has made a massive come back--something I've been waiting for a minute now. Last time I visited the food was perfect temperature, great spice levels, sandwich was delicious. Re-frequenting this spot now.

Im not to sure how I came across this chicken joint but I'm glad I did . The food has always been real good , consistent I would say . Not only do they provide great food but they do it with a kind attitude as well . If you're a fan of Hawain hot chicken , banging bungs or any other Nashville hot chicken place you're going to want to put this on on your list !

Hells Chicken is the gold standard for me for hot chicken. I get the XX hot over coleslaw. The flavor is AMAZING. I'm always disappointed when I try out other places! First things first. The service was amazing. Clean restaurant and such a friendly worker Mia and she worked so fast!!!! Now to the salad... By far the best salad I've ever had! The sauces were so good too!!! Beyond satisfied!!!

Another day, another Nashville style chicken sandwich. San Fernando Valley boasts with a plethora of vendors offering Nashville style chicken sandwiches. Most of them are located in North Hollywood but Hell's Chicken is in Sun Valley. What a catchy name Hell's Chicken is. Reminds me of Gordon Ramsey's Hell Kitchen. The buns are even stamped with the same logo as the popular TV show. The store is a decent size with ample inside seating. They also have more seating available in the outside patio in front of the store. Murals adorn the entire place. Restroom is available inside the store. I approached the counter and ordered a mild chicken sandwich. I was anticipating if there's gonna be some screaming and shouting matches in the kitchen just like the show but no, the guys running the place were really cool. Service was fast as I waited only a few minutes for my order to be served. The chicken sandwich was pretty good but honestly speaking, I have already tried so many of these vendors and I find them all good. Keep 'em all coming.
