"First impression? Hemingway is one of the smallest bars you'll ever see—and one of the cutest ones, at that. It's not quite a speakeasy, but blink and you'll miss it. Cool. So who’s there? Solo drinkers and couples—this isn't the place for large groups. Despite (or perhaps because of) its small size, Hemingway maintains a very convivial atmosphere; after all, it’s not hard to get to know your neighbors when you’re practically sitting on top of them. How are the drinks? The cocktail menu is confusing and convoluted, so feel free to go off menu. You won't be disappointed by a classic Negroni. Worth ordering something to eat, too? Jamon platters, cheeses, Sardinian bread, and olives. Did the staff do you right?
