Came here with a couple friends for drinks and a quick bite, and we loved it. It does get packed, so you might wait a bit for a table, but the music and atmosphere make it worth it. We ordered the smash burgers and fries, and honestly they were so good — flavorful, crispy, perfectly seasoned, and unexpectedly delicious for a bar. The cocktails were another highlight; the staff is super friendly and can customize your drink exactly how you like it. Overall, a very cool spot to chill, grab good drinks, and enjoy great vibes. Definitely coming back when Im in town again! 🍔🍸✨

Oh where do I start... Hemlock, the second you enter this place you are greeted by a unique vibe that's welcoming sophisticated yet chill. I have the pleasure to live close by and frequent this awesome spot, the owners also bartend and are super friendly down to earth and an all around great time. They have phenomenal smash burgers a superb vegan chop cheese that my girl loves and a delicious looking salad I always see folks eating when I visit. The drinks are consistently delicious, enjoyable and there is something for everyone on the menu. If you're looking for a great time or just want to lay low come sit at the bar or by the fireplace rittled with candles to finish setting the scene and enjoy a signature cocktail in one of America's top ten bar of 2025. What a fantastic hidden gem! We visited this speakeasy bar and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The bartender was absolutely amazing — welcoming, skilled, and so attentive. I ordered a gin cocktail with cucumber and mint, and it was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. My friends loved their drinks as well; every cocktail felt thoughtfully crafted. The ambiance was perfect — cozy, stylish, and ideal for a relaxed night out. We also had kids with us, and the bartender went above and beyond by creating special drinks for them made with fresh juices. They felt included and loved their drinks just as much as we did! Overall, it was a truly memorable experience. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable evening.

Named one of the best bars with good reason. Excellent cocktail program in a beautiful space. Perfectly straddles upstate cozy with modern accents. The smash burgers are fantastic and the staff are genuinely awesome and cool people. Will keep returning here for a great cocktail and look forward to seeing what other drinks they add to the menu.

This was my n our list when we came to town, I highly recommend stopping in. The atmosphere is excellent, the drinks were top notch and the smash burger was excellent. If I lived in town, I would be here all the time!

Great smash burgers and cocktails. Cute space and friendly bartenders. My only criticism is the salad was a little odd. Didn't love the combo of Asian dressing with arugula. Might be good to add a more crowd pleasing salad option.

Really wonderful cozy cocktail and light bites spot on the main strip of catskill. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and rustic. Cocktails are next level (honestly the drinks are thoughtful, well-executed and they use fresh ingredients in everything) perfect spot for anything from a date to a chill night out with friends. Don’t sleep on the burger, it’s outta this world. Staff is super friendly, warm and welcoming.

Low light and cozy atmosphere. Cocktails were very good and creative while being fairly well priced (around $15/each). We were able to get a booth easily when we got there around 5 as they opened but they quickly filled up by 6 and this was on a Sunday evening. Didn't get a chance to try the food but everything they brought out looked good.

A local spot where you immediately feel welcome when you walk through the door. World class cocktails, excellent Burger & Fries, and a cozy fun atmosphere. We'll be back!

Cocktails, ambiance and service were all top notch. We love that it puts Catskill on the map because there are quite a few good spots in this sister city of Hudson.

Amazing food-- (we don't drink & still loved our time) truly the fries are incredible. But then the salad and the burger and the pimento cheese? Incredible. Cool vibe. Chill and professional staff. A great time. Good price for a good meal

As a person who works in the service industry, I was disappointed, especially not being greeted upon entry or given any direction as it was my first time there & within entry I made eye contact with the bartenders several times before I decide to sit at an empty table and from here another 5 to go to the bar , it took an additional 5 to 10 minutes for one of the bartenders to even acknowledge that I sat at the bar in front of them and was waiting to order a drink. He started a new conversation with other people at the bar instead of greeting me and asking if I would like something to drink I was ready to leave because it was about 15 minutes before being able to order & another person had come up to the bar and order a drink for themselves and got it within 30 seconds. So It was busy, but not busy enough to say hello to new people, especially when making eye contact numerous times. I did like the unique seating arrangements and drinks were good but pricy for amount given but as far as welcoming, and overall, I don't think I will go again. First impressions are everything and that was what I was taught in my industry.

Wonderful intimate cocktail lounge. Great vibe! Smashburger and old fashion were great. A must go whenever in Catskill

great little place, cozy, warm,friendly. it a self order bar with a limited menu. Drinks arer good, but the food is better, reasonable well done and fast . Burgers great, fries good, and salad spectacular. The music is a bit loud, but for the quality of food and the care put into your drinks you cant miss.Go and enjoy
