The 21 Best Restaurants in Memphis, Tennessee | Eater Nashville

"Michaela Hugoboom-Dockery took inspiration from her native California when she opened Hen House in East Memphis, providing a type of unpretentious-yet-sophisticated wine and cocktail bar not found much in the city. The place feels like an extension of the owner’s living room, not only in terms of the bar’s homey aesthetic but also the approachable, playful drink selection. In addition to menu choices like duck, rainbow trout, and shrimp and grits, check out the creative cocktails: The Memphis-themed Hound Dog (a nod to Elvis, it should go without saying) is made with amaro Nonino, dry Curacao, bitters, and local bourbon Blue Note Juke Joint." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

So I will say this is a really cute spot to knock off your bucket list! Great kick back spot for after work or a girls day out. Really cute decor & the service is top tier! However the food is pretty basic & not all that good. I’ve been twice & both times the guac tasted extremely fishy. The Caesar salad was ok. Hard to get a salad wrong. And I love a good flatbread but theirs was pretty underwhelming. Now the drinks are cute, but not really worth the price. I’ve tried a few of their cocktails and they all have been good with the exception of the espresso martini which is super sweet. Also I think $20 for a shot of Tequila is a bit excessive. They only serve one brand of Tequila & it’s not one I’m familiar with. Again a cute spot just to visit & have drinks but not really one I’d frequent. Maybe if they revised their food menu that would be helpful.

The ambiance was amazing, the service was top-notch, and the drinks and food were good ! While the price was a bit steep, it was still a good experience.

It was the best decision to spend my birthday celebration here. The food and drink were amazing. Service was fast and friendly. The decoration was beautiful. Our favorite dishes were the Sticky Thai Wings, Pasta Carbonara, Truffle Fries, and Lobster Roll. Less favorite were the Egg-rolls and Fried Chicken Sandwich. The Egg-rolls were too oily and no flavor. The chicken in sandwich was burnt so bad. BUT… overall, everything was still perfect for the night.

Went for a casual meal and was underwhelmed. Ordered the Filipino spring rolls (lumpia) but was warned by both my dining companion and the waitress that they were not good. Ordered a few apps and the lobster roll. Small portion big price tag. If the menu gets worked over and polished it would be a gem but currently great for a cocktail. Get dinner elsewhere.

Google
Friendly staff. Great food. Welcoming environment. First time trying Hen House, and I enjoyed the experience. Ordered Brussels sprouts (no bacon) and Thai chicken wings. Both were delicious.

Google
Great vibes. Lovely decor and top notch appetizers. Highly recommend the sliders, nachos, and flatbread. Would not recommend the turkey filled egg rolls. That just tasted wrong

This restaurant is going to be single-handedly responsible for Google having to move to a 6 star system, because wow. I was celebrating my seizure free anniversary and everyone who waited on me made sure to congratulate me and make me feel special. It’s super close to the U of M, and that convenience also appealed to me. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was too (awesome music playing overhead). Definitely keep this spot in mind next time you’re looking for a good place!

Google
Henhouse is definitely a new favorite! It's super cute and trendy with good food. It's perfect for a girl's night out or brunch so make sure you're ready for plenty of pictures! The menu is a bit small but there is at least 1 option for everyone (including vegan). I've gone for brunch, dinner, and once just for drinks, and every time it has been a great experience with good service. I recommend trying the truffle fries, smoked gouda burger, and chicken & waffles. I'll be back soon for happy hour/dinner so hopefully, I'll have more personal recommendations! The plan is to try the entire menu! Brunch is every Wednesday- Saturday from 11am-2pm and happy hour is Mon - Thursday 3pm - 5pm

Yelp
Delicious espresso martini, best in Memphis. Matthew is one of a kind, also not too bad to look at!

Yelp
Hen House is one of my fav places to have a nice cocktail and tapas experience in Memphis. My favorite drink is the espresso martini, and their truffle fries are just to dieee. Ambience is nice- you can elevate the experience with a nice outfit, but you can also come as you are and feel just as cozy. Servers are very well educated on the menu, and they kindly answer any questions. I always make a reservation, so there's never been a wait. It's just across the street from Gibson's Donuts too, making it the perfect way to end date night!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food more like a semi casual dining spot . It can go both way !! Casual or a good evening date night or meeting . Service was fast and they made you feel very welcome.

Yelp
I stopped at Hen House in Memphis after driving 13 1/2 hours. I was greeted promptly and seated. Hen House seems to attract a 20 something crowd serving a variety of mixed drinks, some of which are house special recipes. They serve a limited food menu. It's a great place for a group of friends to stop while bar hopping. Service is superb. My server was very attentive and a good salesperson. She sold me on a second drink and dessert. My lobster roll was excellent! A good mix of lobster claw meat without being drowned in butter. Very tasty. The fries were nice and crispy. Thin and quite good. I highly recommend The Hen House if you're with a group of friends. It was good for this very tired traveler too.

Yelp
Nifty little place to get snacks and drinks after a show - nice outside patio. We had the flatbread and chicken wings - both were very tasty. We didn't try the inside - seems a little loud, but that's probably good - they're busy!
google avatar

Richard L.

Yelp
Came in for a drink and light dinner one evening and have no complaints. The marg flatbread was great.

Yelp
My husband and I planned a family trip to Tennessee, and we came across this restaurant on Yelp . I can definitely say that we were not disappointed! My husband and I had an AMAZING experience!! The food was great, our server was sweet and attentive, and the drinks were tasty! Even the decor was awesome! Whenever we're in town again, this will definitely be a must- stop for us in the future! If you have a chance to visit, please try the Birria grilled cheese! You will thank me later!!!
google avatar

Jack C.

Yelp
Ok so last time I was in town the power was out but we passed this place and I'm so glad the trip we stopped by. The grilled cheese braised whatever. 5/5. Now I probably should have split this and tried a salad bc that looked good or another dish but their menu is on the small side but the food is fantastic. Everyone was nice and kind and this was quick to the table. My friend nabbed the mahi and said it was fantastic. Hoping to stop by next time we are in town and see what changes on the menu. Ps love it when there are candles at dinner! Little things matter and the bar even gives you a place mat.
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing. It was served hot. The drinks were fine: not a big selection to choose from. The atmosphere is so chic. Dim lighting perfect for a date night or just hanging with friends. I would definitely recommend. The customer service was GREAT!!!!!! Everyone was friendly.
google avatar

Ellie F.

Yelp
This is a great spot to meet a friend for drinks! They have a long wine list and are knowledgable about what to serve you. They also offer seasonal cocktails. The food menu is a bit limited and contains unique dishes, from sticky Thai wings to a lobster roll. I would recommend getting a drink and maybe an appetizer if you are picky. The decor and setup inside is so cute! My favorite thing about Hen House is the aesthetic. I believe they also have an outdoor patio.
google avatar

Allison S.

Yelp
The aesthetic and music is such a vibe, I love everything about this place! The servers and bartenders were very attentive and helpful. The Beef Sliders is an absolute must, but you cannot go wrong with any item on the menu

Savannah C.

Yelp
I'm in town for work and came alone... so glad I did! The aesthetic in the restaurant is right up my alley, the service was great, and the food & drinks were delicious!! I had the lobster roll and enjoyed it very much. Parking was easy and the vibes were warm and inviting. I will be back!

Yelp
We had dinner here when they first opened and we left underwhelmed. However, we decided to give it another try and returned for a double date. To my pleasant surprise, the food quality had significantly improved. The interior is very charming and the atmosphere is cozy as I how remembered it. We ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks, all turned out really delicious. My pasta dish was delightful and my friends also enjoyed their entrees. Overall I'm glad we decided to revisit as the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Definitely adding this place to our date night spots!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome vibes and service. We sat at the bar and the bartenders had great recs. I would recommend making a reservation if you don't want to sit at the bar because it's super popular

Yelp
Very clean and beautiful restaurant. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The Cesar salad was delicious and so was the hot honey flat bread. This is definitely a place for good bites and delicious drinks.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. I stuck to cocktails on this visit and they did not disappoint. I started with the espresso martini which was one of the best I've had in Memphis -- rich and creamy with strong coffee notes. I then pivoted to the Feeling Good tequila-based cocktail, which was also fantastic. I loved the intimate, relaxed atmosphere inside and the service was fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try the food options, which sounded very enticing.

Yelp
Get in here friends! Let's get into how delicious this place is. Sometimes the food, service, drinks and everything be sooo good that I try to find something wrong because i can't believe how perfect my experience was. Top tier service. My friend and I sat at the bar and everyone at the bar spoke to us and knew our names. There is a cheat code that I couldn't figure out. The bartender recommended our drinks based off our description of what we liked and he didn't miss. The food was amazing. The salad portions are huge and the truffle fries sent me to heaven and back. The guacamole had lump crab meat in it . I also ordered eggrolls(we need more than two) because they are delicious. I literally love the location and ambience. I look forward to taking my family here.

Yelp
Cute, clean spot on Park Ave. in Memphis. Jarrell, the server, thoughtfully advised me that it was happy hour when I arrived. Accordingly, I selected the old fashioned. I knew I was taking a chance... It's so hard to find a good old fashioned... But I was not disappointment. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the bartender used a single gigantic ice cube to chill my drink! Whenever I get an old-fashioned and it's chilled with a scoop of ice cubes, I know what's gonna happen next and it's not good! Lol! I selected the wedge salad, and from the happy hour menu I selected the Birra sliders. I really liked the wedge salad. It was a humongous portion. I would've enjoyed bigger pieces of bacon and more of those delicious, pickled onions. They were the best! The sliders were also tasty. The portions were very generous and the beef was done nicely. It was served with an au jus dip on the side for the sliders. I wish that the dip had been a little hotter, spice and temperature wise. That being said, others could easily disagreed. I really like the service too. It was the correct amount of attention. Sometimes one place is not busy service can overdo it... Not so here. I got exactly what I needed. Great suggestions and very pleasant. Hats off to Jarrell. Ultimately,I was very happy with my Henhouse experience. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. I highly recommend this spot. I will definitely return the next timetime I'm in Memphis.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! I felt bad that I wasn't dressed accordingly but I enjoyed seeing my friend there and experiencing the cocktails and food. Ambiance is so nice and very relaxing. Food is bomb! I can't wait to go back and try other dishes on the menu!

Yelp
I can say that I've always had great service every visit throughout the years! Went at 5 on a week night, and it was no problem getting in without a reservation. Hot honey flatbread was the star for us that night. Also tried california guac (w/crab) and, of course, the parm truffle fries with the always flavorful garlic aoli.

Chelsea N.

Yelp
It's a very unique environment, and I mean that in a good way! Couches to sit and lounge, and standard table seating. The servers are knowledgeable and efficient. The menu is diverse, with lots of standard foods with new twists. My friend and I like to go and have appetizers for dinner, along with wine and cocktails, of course!

Sarah M.

Yelp
So excited to see a wine bar in Memphis so wanted to give honest feedback! Pros - Really nice atmosphere and the servers were extremely kind! - Fries were really the star, and it seems like this place is really strong for a nice drink and a standard fries and caesar salad and some of the smaller bites for a gab with the girls. - Drinks were cute and just fine but on the sugary side, and I appreciate that they're max $16, which though is still a little high in this city. Cons - The carbonara was lacking a little something in umami/depth, and the fried chicken burger's bacon was insanely salted and overwhelmed the whole sandwich. To be frank, the Filipino egg rolls need to be taken off the menu - it's a sad representation of lumpia. But - I've heard good things about the smaller bites like the flat breads/etc, so that might be the stronger suit! - Just a funny note, but the playlist was such a crazy mix haha of EDM remixes and Rachel Platten that the music became a little too noticeable while trying to chat with friends.
google avatar

Melanie A.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere of this place. We ordered the Bam Bam and Pebbles (a fruity pebble drink which taste just like the cereal), the Coach Rex (sweeter version of a old fashioned. The honey Brussels sprouts were delicious and we paired it with the seasonal fish which was served on coconut rice with kale. Will definitely come again, food and drinks were above expectations and the atmosphere is cute. Romantic date night atmosphere

Yelp
We wanted a chicken sandwich. We did some research and found a picture of the chicken sandwich at The Hen House. It looked absolutely delicious, so we decided to make the drive. We were not disappointed. At first we were worried about getting a chance to order, because they were so packed. Super busy. Even still, the relatively small space felt so open and inviting, and the hosts were all putting on bright faces and seemed happy to see us, quickly finding a way to accommodate us with two seats at the bar. Very awesome vibes. Amazing. The decor, the music, everything. And everyone. Everyone there was so happy and having a great time. Workers and customers alike. The Hen House chicken sandwich was astonishing. It was, without a doubt, the best chicken sandwich we've ever had, and that's saying a lot considering the downright surprisingly monumental amount of chicken sandwiches we have sampled over the past two decades. It didn't come with fries or anything --it was just a sandwich. But not just "a chicken sandwich". It didn't need a side, because it was the perfect chicken sandwich. I had a dream about this chicken sandwich. Heck, I may end up writing a song about this chicken sandwich. Truly epic, and fantastic. We sampled a few drinks. Each were very memorable and tasteful. The workers had a way of making you feel like they wanted you there. You can tell they actually enjoyed their job, making time to quickly chat with us in a meaningful way whenever they could. This experience was very refreshing. We will definitely make the drive again. It could be considered a tad pricey, but, the value was clearly expressed and experienced extensively. Very much worth it in my opinion.

Yelp
Great date night place! The staff is all helpful and friendly and everything was good. My favorite dishes were the truffle fries and wings.

Yelp
This is such a beautiful, chic, modern with an antique vibe. From the time you walk to the front door and all throughout the establishment you feel the vibes. It's a bit of classy with a touch of hippie and fun. The restroom even has captivating decor that keeps you in the same vibe. On to the food and drinks! It's interesting that they started out as a wine bar, but due to Covid they decided to add in food to keep the business going. I'm glad they did, lol! Even though I haven't had an official entrée the truffle fries went really well with my HEN HOUSE FROZÉ! It was soooo good! It had Flocking Rosé, Peach, and Citrus. It was a prefect blend. To cap it off I had the BANANA'S FOSTER bread pudding top with marshmallow creme. Delicious! The price point is moderate if you ask me. The drink I had is small and starts at like $15. Oh once we finished eating, we went into the back room and let me tell you...it was everything. It's the perfect place to throw a small girls night or book club meeting, etc. There are so many photo opportunities throughout the restaurant. You just have to see it and experience it. Definitely worth visiting! Love it.

Yelp
A fun place to eat, though small with a limited menu. Business model appears to be bar like, but the food is quite good. Like many, I have tested many beef burgers in my lifetime and this is possibly the best. Seriously that good. The pasta dish at a nearby table looked yummy and the salad we had, very solid. We'll return. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant. Parking at this restaurant is not always easy.
google avatar

Grace U.

Yelp
Good food. Good service. The vibe is super cute! Only downside is that the menu is pretty small and most thing are small bites so if your really hungry and want more options, this isn't the place. Otherwise, great place to eat.

Yelp
Very nice establishment to dine at or meet friends for cocktails. My friends and I ordered many of the wonderful delicacies from the menu. All the dishes we ordered were quite delicious. I started off with an order of Truffle Fries. Those fries were very very flavorful and the sauce was just yummy. I did share with my friends. I had the Duck Confit Lettuce Wraps. The wraps were seasoned very well. I could taste the notes of garlic and ginger. The seasonings were very balanced and neither overpowered the other. I also ordered coffee and was pleasantly surprised that it was a French Press. Could have been a tad stronger for me but still quite good and smooth. Will return to this beautifully decorated restaurant to have fun and fellowship again. This place is simply a jewel!

Yelp
A friend and I went for dinner and the smoked Gouda burger was mouthwatering! I washed it down with a bohemian rhapsody and a glass of champs. We split the cake of the day, but ate it too fast and didn't get a picture, lol. We had a slice of the rainbow cake with sprinkles and it was super moist and not overly sweet. There's a bar area, which is surround by cute and cozy spaces to dine and sip. I'd like to try some of their flights, so I'll def return soon.

Yelp
I was able to finally visit Hen House with fellow wine club members. We made reservations in advance (please be mindful of their cancellation policy). Upon arrival, we were seated right away. The Hen House was a cute restaurant with intimate lighting. The server came over right away and took the time to check with each individual regarding dietary restrictions and provided us with details as to the changes that were being made to the drink menu. The ambience was nice and although the restaurant wasn't large, there were still a few seating options available if you dined with a group. (We were a group of 5 and sat at one of the round tables.) I decided to go with the Khaleesi, which was their version of a margarita. The dragonfruit that typically comes in the drink was replaced with strawberry. The drink was delicious. I decided to go with the Smoked Gouda Burger and added an order of truffle fries...Oh my goodness, it was absolutely wonderful! The flavor of the burger was just fantastic. I also got the chance to sample their brussels sprouts. I'm convinced that those were probably the best tasting brussels sprouts that I ever had in my life. The texture and flavor were both perfect. Everyone at the table was pleased with their selections. I noticed that the pasta was a hearty portion and the chicken sandwich looked great. Overall, a great experience.

Yelp
Best, delicious brunch here in Memphis! Wow this was definitely my kind place, so so cute! The shrimp n going - creamy grits with bacon- was the best grits I've ever had! Wow you must order these. My friends liked their food as well but mine was the best lol. Waitress was very nice. Drinks were very good, the fruity pebbles drink is a must try.
google avatar

Carrie Z.

Yelp
Our waiter made the experience delightful! The owner or manager delivered the drinks and was also personable. Fun atmosphere and a great menu with fantastic options. The food was delicious, our favorite was the Brussel sprouts....they fix them two ways, we choose the one with bacon. I could of just had that with my superb cocktails and been happy!
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
Such a cute and yummy spot! We made reservations beforehand but there really was no need. It was not crowded. The inside was precious with lots of fun and unique decorations. They have an outdoor area as well. We ordered a few cocktails, and my favorite was the one with fruity pebbles. It was unlike anything I've tasted before. It was subtly sweet and a cereal aftertaste. Highly recommend! I got a flatbread, and my husband got the chicken sandwich. We planned to have leftovers, but both dishes were so good that nothing was left on our plates! I'd love to go back again, perhaps during their happy hours (which I believe lasts until 6 PM during the week). Our server was also a sweetheart!
google avatar

Art C.

Yelp
Very tasty... but they were training a newbie waitress which normally leads to better service. Strangely, not the case here. We had to flag them down several times for various reasons (water, silverware, the check, etc.). Besides the sub-par service, their outside dining area was quite nice. It was a chilly night in Memphis, and while we were a bit cold, we were happy to eat outside to avoid the crowds during the age of covid. Now on to the food... I mean, who doesn't love poutine (not this guy)? And not mad at the chicken sandwich or shrimp pasta either. Both, very excellent. I think this is more of a wine bar vs. a destination restaurant, but the food we had here was still pretty good. Not a bad option for a weekday meal.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
Overall, our experience was good/fine for a Saturday night out without the kids, but not enough to make us eager to go back. The service was perfect despite a busy house (Durrell was our waiter): attentive, friendly, and overall excellent. The drinks were pretty tasty/the food was good, but it just left us hanging. The ambiance would be best described as "basic B." I.e. gold finishes, there is a neon light-up sign with an inspirational message, old-time glamour movies are playing silently on the while while Britney plays on the speakers. The dress code appeared to be everything from straight up athleisure to jean shorts paired with top (group of girls having a wine night near us) to a dressier couple out on a date. Ambiance: 2.5 stars. We shared: California Guac -- it was nice having fresh, tasty crabmeat in the guac, plated with moooore than enough chips, but it felt like it was missing a punch, maybe would have been better with a little heat or something? I had: Lobster Roll. The lobster was fresh/it was a better lobster roll than I expected Memphis to give me, but it was served with what I can only describe as McDonald's style fries with a bunch of pepper on them with Heinz-tasting ketchup for dipping. Even elevating this with a simple aioli instead of ketchup would have helped, but it would have probably been better paired with like a side salad with citrus and avocado. I ended up picking at my fries by dipping them in my husband's pasta sauce (see below). He had: Pasta Carbonara. It was surprisingly citrus for a carbonara (made a little sense maybe because of the shrimp?) and came swimming in a lot of sauce. He gave it 3.5 stars for "too much sauce not enough shrimp" though the pasta "seemed freshly made." Food overall: 3 stars. We drank: the Ooh-Bae, the Feeling Good, the BBQ something and the white wine flight. The Feeling Good was bright and fun, reminded me a little of a pisco sour. My husband said it was missing something for him. Maybe would have delighted the palate more with some egg whites a la pisco sour? I thought my husband's Ooh Bae was tasty and drinkable despite being stronger than mine; he thought it was yummy. One of the wines in the wine flight we couldn't come up with tasting notes for other than dry minerality. I gave that one to him to drink alone. The other two wines in the flight were fine. He also had the BBQ something - it was a bit too strong for me; he thought it was "good." Overall, the cocktails were significantly better than the food. Cocktails: 4 stars If we went back, it would probably be just for some drinks at the bar or maybe to try brunch.

Yelp
We had a great experience. The food was good and the service was great. The decor was quaint and well done!

Yelp
Went a bit before 7:00p on a Tuesday with no reservation and were seated immediately. We opted for the patio, but it seemed like the main dining room and bar would also have been options. The space was well-designed and hip without being too noisy. Staff were friendly and stopped by an appropriate amount. Had two cocktails - the Linger (gin-based) and the Tiny Dancer (rum-based). Neither was cloyingly sweet and the flavors were well-balanced in both. I particularly liked the Tiny Dancer. None of the menu options seemed too adventurous, but what was available was done well. Had both the Crispy Brussels and Truffle Fries as appetizers and was happy with both. Chose the Lobster Roll as my entree. There were no surprises to be had there but if you like lobster rolls you'll probably be happy with it. I was.

Yelp
The ambiance is beautiful and inviting. The food and drinks were wonderful and our server Bradley S. was the BEST ! My friend and I truly enjoyed our experience at the Hen House. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

Yelp
We've been looking for a new cocktail spot ever since knifebird became our one and really only go-to spot to buy a drink in the city, and Hen House could be it! And that's really what we would come here for because in summary... Drinks: 5 stars Food: 2-3 stars We were not impressed with either of the dishes we tried - shrimp and grits and sliders - and didn't really get the sense that the food was their strong or selling point either. Their drinks, though, are creative, unique, and great-tasting. We loved everything we tried, including a gin drink called Bamm-Bamm & Pebbles that I loved even though I hate gin. I forget what the others we had were called, but they were really all solid and made from scratch right in front of you. We'll definitely be back but for drinks only.

Yelp
Super cute place to come for a cocktail! We tried the Pardon My French and Me Porto Bonito. The Pardon My French was floral and citrusy, it was light and refreshing. The Me Porto Bonito smelled like scotch because they spritz Laphroig on top but it didn't taste like it. Really nice balanced cocktail. Very cute interior, girly and great for taking pics. Parking out front.

Yelp
This place was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful food and excellent customer service. We ordered several appetizers instead of a meal: - truffle fries - Brussel sprouts - poutine - hot honey flatbread - charcuterie board All of them were fantastic. No complaints and would happily reorder them anytime. Our waiter, Durrell, was amazing. He was on top of everything even though he was busy. Drinks always topped off and checking in without being overbearing. We were all very impressed with his attention to detail and very happy with the service,

Yelp
I got the chicken sandwich it was ok. Nothing mind blowing I will say it was a large serving size though . I ordered a Manhattan and it was on point. Service was excellent and somewhat cheerful. The atmosphere gave me that south coast vibe. Small and quant. The background music was a wide selection of diverse genres. I give the music 6 stars.

Yelp
We had a great date night last Saturday night for our first visit! The drinks were amazing. The expresso martini was so light and delicious. We started with the lump crabmeat guacamole which was the best thing ever. The chips seemed homemade. Next, I got the chicken Ceasar salad and my husband got the Lobster roll. Both were so delicious. I think the drinks are a little overpriced especially the flights which are much less at Flight and Southern social. The service was impeccable. The decor was cute. I loved seeing 20ish aged couples and groups, it made us feel young. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be back.

Yelp
I dined here for my birthday. Reasons to go : - The ambiance is the highlight of this establishment! It's a boutique feel and perfect for a girls night out , a romantic dinner or a solo night out people watching . - I love the wine wall ! - Cute and crafty drinks ! Reasons that gave me pause : - Limited parking , but valet is available - The food was just okay and a bit pricey - The drinks had more sugar than liquor

Yelp
Great spot for a Girls Night Out! My friends and I made a reservation to hang out, have dinner, and drink wine. And the location did not disappoint. We were accommodated with ease, and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. When one food item came out that wasn't up to par, it was replaced without issue. So I'd definitely recommend going, because my friends and I will definitely go back!

Yelp
Great spot in Memphis, area is pretty clean and restaurant adds value with its aesthetics and vibe. We went here for my wife's birthday while we were in Memphis for a graduation... and it did not disappoint at all. We ordered a few different drinks and the star was the Fruity Pebbles, definitely recommend that. Food wise, we shared the Hot Honey Flat Bread, Brussel Sprouts, Truffle Fries, and an 8oz steak... star of the meal was honestly the Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts. Perfectly crispy with a bit of a kick. Staff was really knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would come back @phidingthefam

Yelp
Ambiance is the name of the game here! The place is decked out in cuteness - particularly the Old Hollywood themed room that I'm sure gets it's fair amount of private parties. But I'm very happy to say that the decor is not making up for anything because both the food AND the service are top-notch. Sometimes the latter is overlooked when you're a solo diner but that has not been the case either time I dined here. On my first visit I had the frose, the fruity pebbles gin cocktail (and I'm not even a gin girl!) and the hot honey chorizo flatbread with truffle fries, all of which were delicious! This last time I swapped the flatbread for their signature fried chicken sandwich and I was not disappointed! I also had their spicy rum cocktail (not my fave but I tend to prefer clear liquor) and a spicy strawberry margarita that I'll definitely order again in the future. More than the great food though, their service was stellar. Easy conversation, knowledgeable about the menu, never had to flag them down but also didn't feel like they were hovering. My only request is that they make their happy hour days and times a little clearer because I will so become a regular when that happens! Till then, it's a great place for a girls night, date night or even a solo treat when you want to be surrounded by beauty.

Yelp
I was in Memphis TN and wanted some lunch and came across this little gem. The atmosphere was upscale and the food was good. They have wine flights which is always a plus, and a comfy sofa area for a more relaxed visit to maybe meet for a first date and sip some wine. I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious, hard to eat though because it was huge. I felt like messy tessy trying to eat this mammoth in this upscale place. There was a lot of bread which was falling everywhere. The truffle fries were delicious and so was the wine. I was a little uncomfortable with how cold it was temperature wise, but out side of that I enjoyed it.
