A Hidden Gem for Authentic Shanghainese Cuisine in Mekong Plaza If you’re craving authentic Chinese food from the Shanghai/Zhejiang region, this unassuming spot in Mekong Plaza’s food court is a must-try. Drawn in by a photo of "Pickled Vegetable Fried with Green Bean and Bean Curd Skin"—a nostalgic, seasonal dish familiar to anyone from Shanghai, Hangzhou, or Zhejiang—my expectations were high, and the meal did not disappoint! The stall is run by a warm Shanghainese couple, and their menu reflects homestyle coastal flavors. We ordered three dishes: Pickled Vegetable with Green Bean and Bean Curd Skin: Just like my dad’s cooking—simple, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Braised Pork Feet: A classic Shanghainese rendition, tender with that signature sweet-salty glaze (note: may surprise those accustomed to Northern savory versions, but it’s spot-on for the region). Spicy Fish: A milder, approachable take—great for those who want flavor without Sichuan-level heat. The food court itself is clean, and the wife (who handles orders and service) is incredibly kind. Portions are generous for the price, making this a fantastic value. If you’re longing for authentic mid-coastal Chinese food, don’t hesitate—this place is a little taste of home.

Pretty chill spot for lunch. Stopped in to try their lunch special. Ordered orange chicken with white rice and a spring roll for $10, about. Happy with my order. The portion was good for the price. I think I will order fried rice next time, if possible. I took off two stars because on the menu the lunch special said that you get a soup and the option of fried rice. But when I asked the lady looked at me like I was smoking 🤪 Hope you enjoy it!

Google
Heng’s Kitchen is a marvelous little eatery that serves up some seriously delicious authentic Chinese cuisine. Tucked away in the corner of the food court of Mekong Plaza, it’s easy to walk right past it without knowing it’s there. But the (assuming) husband and wife team do a phenomenal job cranking out tasty dishes at a pace that is shocking considering it’s just the two of them. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. Their pork ear and beef tendon are among our favorites, and I think their spicy beef noodle soup is one of the best I’ve ever had 🍜👌🏼

Google
Listen - this is good cheap Chinese food and one of the best in this price tier. In the Mekong mall. Co workers showed me the place and has been my go to Chinese takeout since. The only spot I've been able to find proper mapo tofu. Great lunch and rotating specials. The couple who own and cook (I believe the eponymous Heng's) are super cute as well and I love when great cheap food meets a locally owned small shop. I recommend trying one of the less Panda Express options on the menu to see where they shine. I just looked it up holy crap is mapo tofu hard to make.

Google
I saw the reviews and wanted to try this place, first time here I ordered shrimp and pork fried rice. I got one shrimp I cut to make it seem as though I had more. I asked for no onions since I’m allergic and got my rice full of onions. I’m sorry to give this review but very disappointed.

Google
I give it a 5 stars as the food was so good, plus, they have the menu on the display with the picture of the food, as well. I prefer to know how the food looks before I place an order and this was perfect. I ordered for to go and the wait time was about 10 minutes. I decided on the soups , I took a Stew Beef Noodle/Rice Noodle Soup, number 2 on the menu, as well as Braised Pork Noodle Soup. Yummy! It was enough for two people for two days, as the portions were big. It is located inside the Mekong Plaza, kinda like in the food court. I haven’t been there in a while and I was pleasantly surprised.

Google
Heng’s Kitchen is conveniently located in the Mekong Plaza. I tried the beef noodle stew (non spicy version) and it was wonderful! The broth had so much flavor. The beef cuts were lean and large. I left my bowl spotless! I will be returning to this restaurant in the future. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!

Google
They have amazing dim sum. The soup dumpling is absolutely out of this world!!! The pork belly is also a favorite! Amazingly consistent fantastic food!

Yelp
Heng's Kitchen is located in the Mekong Plaza. I took my girlfriend here for some spring rolls. We weren't real hungry, but wanted a little something to share. Four spring rolls was perfect. They make them fresh and perfect. Crispy on the outside with nice veggies on the inside. They give you a sweet-and-sour sauce to go with it. They were very good. Shared parking outside.

Yelp
I knoowwwww y'all are lacking taste buds if you think this Chinese place it any good. Maybe I'm a snob because I lived in places inCalifornia where we had so many Chinese restaurant gems in the San Gabriel Valley. We ordered some of the most basic things, and it was just NOT it. I really wanted to support this business and give them a shot, but it was disappointing. Why is it so hard to find good Chinese food in Arizona? How do you mess up on a green onion pancake? It was burned and dry to a crisp. My eggplant as microwaved and soggy, the dumplings tasted frozen, and the beef noodle soup didn't taste fresh, the noodles tasted microwaved because of the texture (maybe it because wasn't, but the noodles didn't taste fresh). I heard the microwave and seeing them taking food out!! Pictures provided..

Yelp
Got to try their beef noodle soup! Reasonable price and fast service :) Oh and this place is located at Mekong plaza mall. Beef noodle soup, the portion was huge, there were 3-4 pieces of meat and noodle. It was good but I personally felt the broth was a bit salty, but it was a good filling meal!

Yelp
Always seem busy this little corner shop inside Mekong plaza . So I order few dishes , a bean tofu veg , a pork chop and chili chicken . Everything taste good and flavorful. Decent portion . Fast and easy . No MSG . Price reasonable too . Definitely order again

Yelp
Came on a Sunday night at 6pm. Originally went to another soup dumpling place nearby, but they were out of XLB. Just happened to see that this place had them on their menu! Straight forward service from the lady at the counter, not friendly nor rude haha. She just wants your order/payment and nothing else. Went with a few orders of the XLB, Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, Beef Chow Fun, and the Pork Potstickers. She gave me a number and off I went to one of the many tables available. We were one of their three groups. Food came out quickly and looked decent. Upon tasting, we were kind of surprised that the dishes all tasted well above average! XLB were soft with plenty of filling/soup! The dumplings were our favorite dish. We enjoyed our meal and wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

Yelp
Located in the food court inside of Mekong Plaza. It's more of a takeout spot but if you want to dine there in the food court you can. Service is fast, friendly, and they were very helpful in answering all our questions. You don't find many places like this anymore, where the food is good, the portion sizes are borderline generous, and the prices are affordable. We decided to order some dishes to share that we thought would be better to eat fresh there, than to take out. We ordered the juicy steamed pork dumplings and the braised pork noodle soup. The dumplings were good, standard, as far as soup dumplings go. The braised pork noodle soup on the other hand was delicious. The broth was lighter than we were expecting, however, the braised pork itself, was melt in your mouth tender, and had great flavor to it. The only thing about this place is that I wouldn't recommend it to people who are vegan or vegetarian. Most of their vegetable dishes come with either egg, shrimp, or is cooked in oyster sauce. Only mentioning this because a person in our group is vegetarian and couldn't find something on their menu to eat.

Yelp
Conflicted about this one. Cheap takeout - 4 items for about $42!! Food was OK just not as advertised... Heng's is located in the food court of Mekong Plaza. Plenty of seating if you want to eat there. Service was fine. Ordered the beef noodles - the broth was nice but it came with minimum veggies and and only 2 pieces of beef. The spicy boiled fish was good but I'm used to the Sichuan style with a more liquid sauce - this one was thick. Great with white rice but they charge you for rice...many places give you some white rice for free with your order. The potstickers were not as advertised. On their poster they had long style potstickers and my husband was super excited because he can usually only find them when he goes back to Taiwan. Well, they were not that style at all! The yang zhou fried rice also wasn't as expected. It was OK but should usually come with a variety of proteins and finer cut toppings. Tbh, since its close to us we may return for a cheap takeout option.

Yelp
Food is good and service is fast, rude lady at the front though. We got the soup noodles and chow mein. Chowmein wasn't anything special but broth was good. We asked for more then 1 napkin cause there was four of us and she rolled her eyes and said to get more from somewhere. Beware of the rude old lady Wont be back

Yelp
Ordered take out. This is located in the corner of the Mekong Plaza.. worth it! Reasonably priced with good sized portions. We had orange chicken with a nice sauce - not super sweet, the eggplant with a great garlic sauce and fried rice with a good amount of the protein. If you call to order, you can order the lunch specials on line. If you stay to eat, there is food court seating

Yelp
This is the only place in the valley I've found that serves Mapo tofu and other traditional cuisine with the sichuan peppercorns. So good, and authentic-tasting. Their other dishes are anywhere from satisfactory to absolutely delicious--Noodle dishes, fried rice, kung pao and orange chicken are particularly worth mentioning. I bring friends here all the time. Reasonable price, good portions. Give it a shot.

Yelp
Great place for Chinese food you shouldn't miss. I went in Mekong Market to grab some groceries the other day and came across to this little "Kitchen" in the food court. I ordered a very Cantonese dish which I considered unusual to find in US Chinese restaurant. It turned out that the dish was well made. It isn't the traditional "河粉 He Fen" (Thick Rice Noodles) that I expected. It's thicker than the ones I had back in Canton. And also very interesting choice of vegetables besides bean sprouts in this dish that I found a little different than what I had back in my hometown Canton. But beef was so tender and tasty and the noodles are favored really well. I would give this whole experience a 4-star based on the authenticity&Taste. Also it's a place you get to order and have a quick bite at the food court so there's no proper seatings like we usually do in restaurants. Just a reminder for people that goes in for a try. But I totally understand how hard it is for small Chinese business in US like this to survive and I really appreciate having this amazing food experience to make me feel a little closer to home again.

Yelp
Decided to try out one of the small restaurants in The Mekong Market. We chose Heng's Kitchen because the food looked appetizing from the menu and weren't in the mood for ramen/hotpot. The food was about 3 stars, the best item was the Kung Pao chicken, it was flavorful and I liked the Bell pepper and onion cooked with it. The dumplings were okay, not too bad but i would try the pot stickers over these. The chowmein noodles had a specific taste that I didn't necessarily like. It was just alright. The service was quick and the girl taking out order was nice. Tons of seating areas in the food court area and you can check out the entire market!

Yelp
Quick lunch stop at Heng's after grocery shopping at Mekong. Service was quick & the Beef Noodle was delicious. Will definitely stop by to try some other dishes!

Yelp
Very good small spot inside the Mekong plaza. For the quality and price it's good food. We love the ribs. The woman we always see at the counter is also extremely kind and always fast with the orders. I personally prefer their ribs to Happy Baos even though they cost a little more

Yelp
This is my second time trying this walk-up counter location inside Mekong Plaza. I don't recall what I ordered before but the beef and broccoli I ordered today I will not soon forget. As you can see from the picture, the portion was plentiful. Additionally, the beef was tender and the sauce was awesome. It came out smoking hot! This dish would've easily served two people however, I decided to take care of it all by myself. Definitely will try this place again.

Yelp
This place is crazy. Tonight I went there trying to order dinner around 6. Apparently they had a huge backlog of orders and people were getting impatient after waiting 30mins for food. So I got in line trying to order, but the bald dude saw me and decided he didn't want to take order from people like me for whatever reason. So he promptly shouted "we are closed now" at 6pm on a Saturday. Sure, I understand so I walked away along with a couple like me. Once we ordered the food from the Vietnamese place in the food court instead and sat down, they decided to turn the light back on and start to take orders from other customers 10 mins later. This was shocking discrimination. I've never been more disgusted in my time in Phoenix and this is truly a low bar. Heng's makes some of the most generic dishes with tiny portions. On top of that, you might need to wait 30-45 mins for food or you might not be permitted to order food depending on their mood.

Rani G.

Yelp
Ordered kung pao chicken with fried rice, Everything tasted like it was just cooked in soy sauce.. NASTY.. Even asked the lady if it was kung pao chicken. I was tripping told her it tasted like soy sauce.

Yelp
We have been missing out...but no more! This gem is hidden in the back corner of Mekong Plaza in Mesa and once you find it, you'll be so glad you did. They simply have the freshest noodles and wonton we have ever had the pleasure to experience. We now have tried several things on the menu including Beef & Scallions, General Tsos, and String Beans but THE BEST THINGS WE HAVE EATEN are the Spicy Chicken Noodles and the Spicy Wonton. The spicy wonton are so good that the mere mention of them in our house leads to drooling and exclamations of "let me get my keys!"

Yelp
I love to support local businesses, including those which are #AsianOwned . Heng's Kitchen offers up tasty Chinese food, including some of my favorite Dim Sum in the Valley. Their Juicy Steamed Pork Mini Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) are consistently served hot and fresh. The Dan Dan Noodles have an amazing aroma and come out piping hot. Combined with a bit of spicy heat, it's sure to bring a sweat to your brow. The line moves quickly, especially when you consider this "Mom and Pop" restaurant usually has no more than two people working at a time. Be prepared to wait a bit for the food which, in most cases, is made to order. Also be sure to ask for everything you need (napkins, soy sauce, spoon, etc.) when you place your order to avoid multiple trips back to the counter.

Yelp
What is there to say about Heng's Kitchen, besides it is Fantastic. We discovered this place a number of years ago and it has become our go to Chinese restaurant. The xiao long bao are the best. The Scallion Cakes, potstickers, and Chow Mein are great. The Ma Po Tofu is a religious experience. We love this place.

Ivie H.

Yelp
5 star lunch! Food was fresh, temperature was hot, and seasonings were flavorful. Service was kind. Portion size was enough to share. Ordered spicy stir fry chicken and beef pepper stir fry. Yum!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a tiny stand in the food court in the Asian market. You enter on the right entrance and go all the way straight, where you'll see it on your left. They have lunch specials for $10, so I got the sweet and sour chicken for pickup. It was really good, but the portion is smaller than what you get elsewhere. The entire dish is half rice, but you do get an egg roll on the side. Overall, okay place for Americanized Chinese food. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
Heng's Kitchen is a Chinese Restaurant in the food court at Mekong Plaza. We shared the Szechuan Spicy Boiled Fish. The woman that served our dish was very nice and split the rice plate for us. This is a dish that I am familiar with and I know it's supposed to be spicy. It's supposed to be fiery hot and mouth numbing. The dish was developed with good flavors, the fish was cooked to perfection and it did have some heat and some numbing but was the mildest version I ever had of this dish by very far so I would never order it again here. They have a open area in the wall behind the register and the cook was looking at me and I wonder if he thought I look like a person that doesn't like spicy food? I don't know?
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
Located at Mekong food court. Convenient location to get some quick food after shopping. The food was ready in about 10-15 minutes. It was ok for food court food but not what you'd expect from a restaurant. With so many options in the area, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Vera X.

Yelp
We got a take out order, the taste is good. Wait time is reasonable. But the portions are relatively small.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried many beef noodle soup places in Phoenix. This place has the best spicy beef noodle soup in town, hands down! Super nice service also.

Yelp

Thick chunks of pork belly, braised in "secret sauce" #36 egg w/Shanghai soy sauce fried rice $7 Savory rice and scrambled egg with green onions Heng's is open at 10 AM in the food court of Mekong Plaza. Corner of Main and Dobson. Lunch specials at 11 AM to 3 PM. Priced: $7.25 to $8.95

Yelp

Yelp
This family owned restaurant is located in the corner of the mall but it caught my attention right away after studying the menu. I got the Beijing ja Jiang Mian to go. First off, it tastes pretty authentic. Secondly, the portion is reasonable for the price I paid. I would totally go back again for their other stuff. I'm always down for authentic, reasonably priced, and family owned restaurants.

Yelp
I was so startled my first time to this little mom and pop modest eatery, when I approached the order counter and didn't even speak yet, when the owner (the husband) suddenly blurted out in an "unexpected surprise" tone of voice, "Are you Shanghainese?" Wow, yes, I am Shanghainese. He said it as if my Shanghainese looks smacked him in the face, like he was taken aback to see me, a Shanghainese, standing at the counter. That was months ago, and I didn't think to ask him what made him blurt that out. I do agree, I look Shanghainese. I am tall for Asian 5'7", and am not short with round face (Cantonese). REAL Chinese know what provinces in China other Chinese came from only by their looks. I have eaten here about 4 times alone. One time, the wife was sitting at the next table having her meal, and I started speaking Shanghainese to her. She asked me in Shanghainese, "What part of Shanghai are you from"? I told her in same language that I never even been to Shanghai, I was born in NYC! She commended me to be born here and speak Shanghainese so well. I told her I learned from speaking to both my Shanghainese grandmothers, who didn't even speak Mandarin or English, only Shanghainese. I enjoyed all the dishes I ordered enough to order them again. They are 1. Braised Pork Belly 4.5 stars (I ordered this several different times, cos I love pork belly) 2. Beef noodle soup 4 stars (broth could be richer, but noodles taste homemade and chewy) 3. Lion's head ("Sze tse dur" in Shanghainese) called meatballs #82 on the menu (a little bland and the plastic noodles absorbed the broth, which was thin) pretty inexpensive dish for 4 meatballs $9.99.

Yelp
I love it here! My partner and I come here at least once a week, we try to always get something different. They are very fast and soooo good. The spicy beef noodle soup is my favorite. We always see the same nice woman, and she is always so sweet. We love her! I'm going to keep coming here forever
google avatar

Yelp
We love this restaurant. It's one of our regular go to place in the valley for the best Chinese food.

Yelp
I very rarely give rave reviews but this is one of the most underrated places I've ever been to. It's a bit hard to find in the food area at Mekong, it's in the corner and doesn't look like much. It's run by a husband and wife duo who are so incredibly kind and nice. There's complimentary water at the counter too. Ok, so food is INCREDIBLE. The jajang noodles had a super robust flavor and had actual pieces of meat instead of ground meat. Good fat to lean ratio. Kungpao chicken was super fresh and tasty. Lots of meat too and wasn't just vegetables. Eggplant was my favorite. I don't know how but it is just so good. If you get one thing, get this. Serving sizes are generous. One entree is plenty for one person. Each dish is about $10 or under so reasonable as well. Give this place a try!!

Yelp
We really liked the food here ! Great value and well prepared :) We had the pan fried wonton ,spicy beef noodle soup , Spicy cucumber appetizer , spicy tripe appetizer , shrimp fried rice , Singapore shrimp chow Mei Fun and pickled cabbage soy bean and bean curd skin . We go to Asia frequently and this is the a place we will order from again :) We really liked all the dishes especially the pickled cabbage , soy bean and tofu skin . This a very casual restaurant , located in a food court

Yelp
I wanted to try the Shaanxi "cold skin" noodles (it's called Meek Skin on the menu) but they were out, so I asked the sweet lady for recommendations and she suggested fried rice cake with pork and pickled cabbage. It was good but the rice cake was packaged. I had to wait for a long time since I was there at 4:30pm which was an odd hour, but I had time to kill so it wasn't an issue. While waiting, I examined the menu and they had food from all regions of China. It's good because there are choices, but bad because when you try to please everyone, you please no one. There's a daily special menu written in Chinese and it had noodles and lamb dishes. I believe the chefs/owners are from northern China so I'd stick with those. Don't read Chinese? No worries. Anything you get here is much better and more authentic than your typical Moo Shu places.

Marvilynn C.

Yelp
One of the best places in Mekong market to eat. The food is outstanding all the time.

Ximena V.

Yelp
The food was so yummy! My friend, who is vegetarian, really enjoyed the meat free options. It was quick and the cashier is this lovely and kind lady. It is in a food court but there was plenty of space when we went and I think it's worth it. Highly recommend!

Yelp
10/19/19 I've deprived Heng's Kitchen of their rightful 5-stardom for too long. Heng's is clearly my favorite Chinese food restaurant in Arizona thus far, so I ought to acknowledge that! That said, I must admit our dinner experience on 10/19/19 was not perfect. Our server did not give us any plates, leaving us to munch off the platters upon which our entrees arrived. Furthermore, the dim sum restaurant a stone's throw away had an obnoxious live band whose off-key singer devastated the ambiance. I forgive these inconveniences, however, because Heng's has -- in all my visits -- presented 100% solid cuisine every time. Such was the case with our order this evening: 1. House-Made Juicy Steamed Pork Mini Dumplings (#15) 2. Shanghai Shredded Pork Chow Mein (#49) 3. Fried Eggplant w/ Homemade Sauce (#99) This was a winning banquet all around, so we were willing to look past our atmospheric grievances. When it comes to food and expedience, Heng's is as good as it gets. My only real complaint is that they don't have four walls to call their own. I wish Heng's Kitchen occupied an establishment preferably next door to my apartment. However, as that's a longshot, the Mekong food court will have to do for now. We'll obviously be back, and hopefully someone will confiscate the live band's amplifiers.
google avatar

Joe F.

Yelp
Food was ok but not overly exciting. Was a bit salty for my tastes. There were a ton of chilies but it wasn't really hot. Oh well. Maybe I'll try their stew next.
google avatar

Michael E.

Yelp
Great food at a decent price. Got the eggplant, Kung pao chicken and beef noodles. Came with white rice. All three dishes were fresh and delicious, prepared after we ordered, not before. The highlight was definitely the eggplant, you need to try it if you're a fan of eggplant! Excellent service, very friendly staff. This is a place I would come back to!
google avatar

Yelp
Located in Asian mall, this restaurant had authentic food rather than American iced Chinese food. Food was spicy where needed, but overall best thing was that they had a broad menu of mostly Northern Chinese dishes like fish in boiling pot. Will go again.

Yelp
Transported to food courts in Singapore. When I walked into Mekong Plaza, the shops and food aromas of Asia flooded in. I was strangely at home. I was craving Taiwanese beef noodle. Thanks to Genie Yelper Karen W., she granted my first wish this Spring Break. Heng's Kitchen joins other indoor food court stalls in Mekong Plaza. I perused through the menu and decided quickly on #38 Spicy Beef Noodles. Alert: This soup packs a punch. The broth goes down easy but the heat comes on like a flash from the back. The tendon and round cuts of meat were tender and flavorful. The soup was fairly robust. It was packed full of spinach and other vegetables, but my favorite topping was the pickled greens. Was it the best I've had, the soup could have been a little more well developed, but it certainly hit the spot and satiated my craving. Karen had the Szechuan fish with rice. I enjoyed it. It was nice to see HK deliver different flavors and textures in their dishes. Price tag: A large portion of noodles for slightly under $8. I even brought home some of the broth that I could not finish. I will be back for more.

Yelp
Yes, this is an eatery in a food court but you will be amazed at how authentic the Asian flavors are. And don't expect it to be fast food; it takes them a bit of time to prepare the dishes you've ordered, but that care in preparation is reflected in how good the food is. I usually order the fish dishes because fish is not a common protein entree served in a lot of Chinese or other Asian eateries, and they do it so well here. The fish is always tender and succulent and the sauce is always so incredibly tasty. The portions are generous and the dishes are rather inexpensive, so make you leave a good tip in the tip jar - they deserve it and we want them to be around for a long time.

Yelp
I had the Stewed Spicy Chicken, Potato, & Pepper It was ery good and the spiciness was just right. Not to hot but you know it's there. Great prices too!
google avatar

William N.

Yelp
I got the 趕超牛和, my favorite dish ever. They made it to perfection. This is my new favorite go to while in the Phoenix/Mesa area. The noodles are cooked just right and the beef tastes juicy. They added some spinach to extra flavor. All in all, come here if you want a solid Chinese plate.
google avatar

A.J. C.

Yelp
Absolutely authentic! It's tough for them because they're kinda hidden to the side of the restaurants in mekong. There are so many choices many don't even go to that side. But the food is authentic and excellent! The pork belly is tops on my list! The pork feet were sooo tender and flavorful. Everything else was really good. Even the simple egg green onion fried rice was great! A hidden gem that can use more support!

Yelp
Just tried this restaurant today. It's located inside the food court of Mekong Plaza. We ordered the Shanghai chow mein & Shanghai rice cake. The chow mein tastes pretty authentic; surprisingly pretty on point. My rice cake is even better. The only thing I can complain is that portion is on the small side ; & both dishes have very little meat in it. There's not a lot of veggies either in both dishes. We also ordered a Shanghai pot stickers & they are actually pretty good. All in all a good dining experience. Would come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
I love the selection of Chinese food here. It's a mix of different regions, from Shanghai style dumplings to Sichuan water boiled fish. I got an order of xiao long bao to go ($6.25, labeled as "Home-made juicy steamed pork mini dumplings"). There were 6 dumplings per order, and while most of them had the lovely savory broth that is indicative of these type of dumplings, 2 of them were dry (Although the meat inside was still tender and juicy). The dumplings were flavorful and tasted fresh. They get bonus points for including a prepackaged plastic spork in my to-go bag (Sporks are cool) :). This is a small mom and pop run operation, and the lady co-owner speaks both Mandarin and English. I'll definitely stop by here again if I'm in the area to try more inexpensive and tasty Chinese food options.

Yelp
First off, this place is located in a food court. One half had smaller food windows, while the other is a dedicated restaurant. It can get pretty smoky here. Heng'a Kitchen had many yummy options. I'm not sure of the staff amount, but I only saw two people, assuming they are the owners. We waited quite a while for someone to take our order and receive our food. While we did enjoy our food, some of our items were not properly sealed, so we did have a few spills as soon as they gave it to us. The 3/5 really is for the wait time. We enjoyed our food and are happy to have supported their restaurant during these times
