This place sits at the east end of the Fremont Street Experience. Great location with misters to help cool the area. Tall tables with comfortable seating and many have a great view of the activities outside. The restaurant itself is a little run down looking and the bathrooms are not the cleanest, but the food was very good. The Irish nachos were well done and flavorful, the Mac and cheese with beer cheese was great, and the shepherd’s pie was amazing. Very rich and hearty. The service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. There are tons of places to eat in downtown Vegas and obviously some really amazing places to get a meal, but this is some great comfort food in a nice place.

Google
The fish and chips were very good, decent portion. The coleslaw was good too, seemed fresh. Had a nice glass of Guinness to go with it. On the downside, the meal cost $23 and they charged $14 for the Guinness which is a bit too much. Inside it did have a pub vibe, our you could sit outside and watch Fremont Street.

Best eggs Benedict in Vegas! Definitely take advantage of the buy one get one free on Tuedays. Staff is great and the food is delicious! One word of caution though - if you have food allergies/sensitivities like me, definitely ask what's in the food as the menu doesn't list everything in the food. The breakfast potatoes and Dublin Benedict contain green/red peppers and onions and it's not indicated on the menu. Also, for fun you can order the 60 ounce glass with a variety of different cocktails and you get to keep the cup. Ketchup bottle for size reference. I'd also show you my eggs Benedict but I ate them too quickly because they were so darn good! Update: we went back for dinner because their burgers are so highly rated. Service was super slow, the burgers came out half cold and medium rare when we requested medium well, and the fries were soggy and cold, thus resulting in my downgrading them from 5 stars across the board. Definitely recommend for breakfast but the lunch/dinner crew needs to up their game.

Decent bloody mary, although not as spicy as I would like and did request extra spicy. Is a one star everywhere else, bloody was a 3 star, taste wise, except not spicy, drops it back down. Mojitos were mediocre and an eyebrow or eyelash in my fiancé's drink. Steak and shrimp, steak was tough, and both dishes kinda heavy on the mashed potatoes that came with unwanted picks and no choice of sides anyway. Sat there for 20 minutes before someone came and was slow, people count wise. Shepherds pie also middling quality, besides heavy on the potatoes, no crusted top and light on the veggies inside. Over rated place for sure. And, still no Guinness, six days after St Patty's Day, not acceptable, and a repetitive complaint I oberheard from others, also wanting what I did. Plates did have a decent presentation, but, was a disappointment otherwise.

Google
Visited here last Wednesday from the UK. The service was brilliant from our server constantly coming to refill our drinks and had a good chat! The food was also delicious I had a Grilled Cheese with a Tomato soup and my fiancée had a chicken sandwich and we couldn’t complain one bit! 100% recommend this place!

Google
So I just have to start out & say this place is TOP NOTCH! We just had a wedding reception here for 70+ people. The staff were amazing, friendly & so helpful! We had a wedding package with food included. Most places you go to, the food is hit or miss. We had both steak and chick, mashed potatoes, veggies & salad as the menu. EVERYONE complimented how good all of the food was! The steak was unreal & the chicken was fabulous! We had our own bartender & private bar set up. They accommodated all of the clean up as well. They gave us full access to control all of the music, it was honestly the perfect space and vibe. Easy location & not one bad thing to say. The staff again were unmatched!! This place is 1000000/10 🙌🏻 5+ stars all day long!!! Thank you again! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Google
Amazing food! And the captain crunch Fench toast dessert was ..... soooo freaking flavorful, sweet, fluffy, yummmmyy. No pics of the dessert. It was destroyed!!!.

Google
Love everything about this place. Have been there multiple times. All food has been excellent. Servers and bartenders are awesome. The inside atmosphere is great, lots of TVs for sports. The patio is also a fantastic front row seat to the Fremont Street Experience. Never a dull moment.

Yelp
I honestly loved it The food, Perfect! The staff were nice too!, Next time I go to Las Vegas I'm coming here for breakfast again!

Yelp
A great Irish pub with all the fixins! Good service, and big portions. We loved the service too, but the food quality could have been raised just a notch. Really good but could have been moved to excellent quality. That's why 4/5 stars.

Yelp
Let me start with the good... First, the staff was incredibly nice and attentive. They made us feel extremely welcome and did their best to make sure we were satisfied and having a great time. Second, the ambience was very chill; a little oasis from the craziness of Fremont Street. Lastly, the live music was solid. A two-man band that played classic rock staples on acoustic guitar and drums. They were a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the bad outweighed the good. The food was simply "not good." The Reuben corned beef was all fat and barely edible. The potato chips were as dry as the Nevada desert. And the chicken fingers were as hard as a hockey puck. Next, this is not an Irish pub. It's simply a Chili's or Applebees with some Guinness posters on the wall. Finally, and most important, was the VERY high prices. Over $70 for 3 beers, an entree, and appetizer. We were shocked. There are plenty of places to go Downtown. Skip this one. We won't be back!

Yelp
Check Your Bill Carefully Before Paying My wife & I had dinner in the bar on a Saturday night. We ordered two sandwiches with fries (fries are extra; sandwiches come with kettle chips), a tequila & soda, & a double gin & tonic. The sandwiches were good; we were discussing coming back for breakfast the next day. Then the check came: $85 & change. We asked the server why the bill was so high, & it sounded like she had the wrong order--the tequila & soda had Patron in it, so we were charged for that, & the gin & tonic had Hendrick's in it, & again we were charged for that. The only problem was we did not specify what liquor was to be in the drinks other than tequila & gin. In other words, we received items other than what we ordered & were charged for them. We told the server that. Her response was to the effect of: "I don't like my customers drinking well drinks." My wife told her, "I've been a bartender for 30 years & I have never given a customer anything other than well drinks unless they specifically called for something else. We didn't call for anything else." The server told us she would see about getting that straightened out, & eventually the bill came back as $65 & change. I can only speculate if there were any ulterior motives here, but I will just finish off with this: by charging us for top shelf liquor when we didn't order it, the server guaranteed at least 3 things: we will never return; we will tell our friends about it, & this review.

Yelp
Yelp is a great source of information. I wish I would have reviewed this place before I went in for 2 pints of Guinness. The service was fine but $12.50 for a pint. It's not a night club ... it's a Irish pub. I've enjoyed Guinness all over the world. $8.50 - great! $9.50 - kind of a bummer. $12.50 - you've been warned!
google avatar

Yelp
For a good time...stop in at Hennessey's! Whether you sit on the patio or deep inside strap in for a good party time! Something about an Irish Pub...and these guys do it to the max! Great servers! Plenty of choices at the bar! The food is always good, however I feel like the potatoes in the Irish Nachos should be crispier. Yeah I ate the whole dang thing!
google avatar

Arthur J.

Yelp
Always a chill place to pop into. I like that they have sporting events for women's soccer also. The Irish nachos are pretty good. Eat it with a side of their bbq sauce and you'll thank me later. Drinks are bit pricey but they pour pretty well. It's worth checking out if you are curious about it.
google avatar

Yelp
Great location. Huge resturant and the end of the Downtown strip. Went in as they had a happy hour going on. My friends and I got the Blackberry drink which was very refreshing, i didn't really taste any liquor. The happy hour menu was not appealing. Their regular menu has way better options. Service was good. Ambiance was a more rustic, irish bar vibes. Not Henessey the drink, just the bar name for those who think it's the same.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Another Vegas gem! They've got some awesome Monday night bands, entertainment, and music! The food is good too! Awesome Irish feel and the service is welcoming from behind the bar!

Melissa M.

Yelp
Firstly, having actual Irish food would've been nice. Secondly, there a particular way to pour a Guinness. The head on it was way too large. Should've been sent back tbh.

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
An amazing Irish pub & great location. You sit on the patio or the bar for a fun time. Kaylene is an amazing bartender. The atmosphere is relaxed & comfortable.

Annika B.

Yelp
Good service!! Good came out fast. This place is not a high quality place but the food did its job. We were starving and the chicken tenders did not disappoint
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for the Delirious comedy night, and I was laughing the whole time! Got the Buffalo wings and a Palmona as well. Both were delicious. Would definitely come back here for another comedy show!!
google avatar

Yelp
Irish pub. Great burgers. Staff is laid back but attentive. Prices are reasonable for the Vegas area.

Yelp
Just had dinner here. Food was great, restaurant was warm and welcoming, but the service by Kali made it that much better. Kali is super friendly & attentive. Made our experience better than we could have expected. We will absolutely be back. THANK YOU KALI!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!! Friends from Boston..
google avatar

Denise K.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years. The atmosphere is so relaxed and comfortable. We each had pretzel burgers, which were delicious!! Caresse, our server, was quite attentive, and Carlos, the manager, came to our table to make sure everything was okay. It's so nice to feel welcome and have a consistently positive experience!
google avatar

Allison H.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service was not great. The bathroom seemed dirty to me. Maybe because it's an older facility.
google avatar

Jill M.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place for their happy hour! $5 well drinks. Good service, nice outdoor seating with heaters overlooking the action on Fremont Street. Great People watching location! Clean restrooms too.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely worst customer service I've experienced all year! When I received my meal the brisket was overcooked, dry and burnt. I had to chase the waitress down three times to request, one mayo, barbecue sauce and then the third time for my receipt, which she never returned to the table to give me. I didn't even eat the food. What happen to checking in on your customer to see if anything else was needed. I eventually just left. The Quality of the food was poor, as well as the service we received save your money and go somewhere else.

Yelp
Recently we had a chance to visit Hennessy's Tavern while in Vegas for U2 (we never found what we're looking for). The Guinness pour? Let's just say it wouldn't win any awards - think more 'meh' than 'magic.' The food was standard pub fare, with happy hour chicken tenders that were more memorable for their price than their taste, and another dish that's already slipped my mind. But props where they're due - the service was spot on! Friendly and efficient, they were the unsung heroes in a place where the food plays second fiddle. The real spectacle? Good ol' Fremont Street, right outside. This place is a live theater of Vegas life, from drunk tourists licking their casino wounds to a speedster crackhead in a solo relay for an empty beer bottle. And let's not forget the Heart Attack Grill across the street - a carnival of calories where diabetics and fat people are royalty (they had plenty of scooter parking and oxygen tanks out front). I digress. Bottom line: Hennessey's is your average pub, elevated by its location and solid service. The people-watching is the main event here, not the drinks or dishes. Would I return? For the service and the street scenes, sure!
google avatar

Jessica ..

Yelp
The burger was perfectly cooked. Service was decent. We didn't get served right away. Overall the the atmosphere was okay. We were hungry and they had a live band come in. Only bummer they shut the Golden knights game off.
google avatar

Neil S.

Yelp
Went here with my friend on vacation. Food and service was amazing. The restaurant looked so busy but all the staff worked wonderfully and quick, with no hiccups. Ordered a dublin burger and moo burger with garlic fries and they came out perfect. Tips to the server Skylar for being sincere and fast, she was a great server and we made such a great connection. Would recommend this place for any tourists.
google avatar

Reiley H.

Yelp
I came here just for drinks and they had great $6 drink specials all day. I got a couple of screwdrivers and they also had good Irish coffee. They had a band called "The Midnight Runners" playing who had great music and they even made up a couple songs on the spot for my birthday.
google avatar

Yelp
Came to Hennessy's Tavern in Las Vegas for the first time. Service was great our waitress was friendly and the manager Carlos was even better. Great costumer service. Food was good as well. Definitely will be coming back

Yelp
Visited as a large group of people. I know large groups can be a pain for a server, so generally I give a little more slack for any service issues. In this case, service was alright. Food orders were correct and we got them in a reasonable amount of time. One of the issues we had was regarding some of drinks, we had ordered chilled shots but they came somewhat warm. The food at Hennessy's was alright but nothing really stood out. One of the minor annoyances is on how they split checks. Visited a couple of places prior to this place over the past few days and they limited the number of checks to 4. I get we are a big group, but it was the first place to have a limitation like that. Nothing ordered was very complicated and I understand it was busy but just not as good service as I had seen elsewhere.
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
We hung out here twice during my stay at the Vegas strip. First of all, if you don't mind driving, drive taxi is over $30 one way. The food is comparable to a buffet. I don't recommend eating here. The music was ok as well as for the drinks. We met friends here but,I will not go back.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
Stopped in this spot to grab a beer, use the bathroom and wait for the Uber. It's across the street from an Uber pick up spot so it's ideal. Comfortable vibe and very spacious.

Amelia S.

Yelp
Kali was amazing! Brisket sandwich was delicious. Service was absolutely superb. Loved our experience

Yelp
Kudos To Hennessey's Tavern Located At 425 Fremont St Las Vegas Nevada. Our Retiree Group Held Our Meet And Greet Get Together On Thursday October 12Th 2023. The Room Was Set Up Very Nice, Servers Were Awesome, Food Was Great, And We Had A Wonderful Time! Thank You Kris (General Manager) And Staff For More Than Meeting Our Expectation, You Provided The Best Customer Service!!!!

Julian K.

Yelp
The food was not good. The best were the wings, the other food was bad. Although many waitres were there we waited many minutes for a beverage. I can't suggest the restaurant.
google avatar

Tom S.

Yelp
first time getting sick from bar food and drinks in a while..... this massive lemonade drink was so sweet that when I vomited it up, it felt like 100% simple syrup. Don't ear the Irish Tacos. Bland and no flavor... a full blown tourist trap
google avatar

Bridget M.

Yelp
A great place to watch live music nightly. Giselle is a great bartender, and oddly enough the best tomato bisque soup I've ever had. All of the food is delicious.

Michael M.

Yelp
Slow service. So so food. Way overpriced. $12.50 for a pint. The place next door is much better. Great people watching.

Yelp
I'm a local from Carlsbad Village in San Diego California brought friends in to experience the ambience I have acoustic and obviously the food. The GM was very greeting warm comfortable the server Christine was less than I would ever expect service. Such food was amazing and then after she chose to automatically put on gratuity on the TOAST POS after saying she can't split a tab and then chase us down to question why we left the 10% if it were up to me I would left 0% and I have been in the industry for 40 years. Her attitude sucks. Her personality sucks in her service. She should not be serving in Vegas , or anywhere else for that matter OK so you have a cute tiny, petite figure and you think you can get away we saw you being so friendly towards other tables but you gave our table no attention yeah, my friend from Australia not impressed my friend from New York definitely not impressed me a local from San Diego. Yeah I'll be talking that owner to you. Don't belong in this industry find your own niche I am a general manager of my own restaurant, and if I ever found out a server chased down all three guests to question them as to why they changed their percentage on the tip. They would be gone immediately.

Yelp
DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NOT RETURN! Went on a slow night , service was super slow. We were in a party of 3 , we ordered the all American burger , the Dublin burger and the steak and shrimp. The burger was falling apart and super soggy, so the bun wasn't appetizing. The steak was over cooked and once we let the waitress know she took it back and said it would be 5 mins , it took over 25 mins to bring it back out! Mean while we were already done eating our burgers as they finally brought out the steak. We spoke to the manager about the inconvenience of it all and only gave us 10% off the steak ($2.00) !!! And said "I wasn't even going to give you that!" So we will not be retuning because that's ridiculous! First and last time we eat there!
google avatar

Sandra W.

Yelp
The food was surprisingly delicious! We had the fish tacos and sweet potato fries. Both were amazing! The service was also friendly and ambiance was great!

Jason C.

Yelp
Old fashion was good, house wine good, burger was good, fries were fantastic. Service was friendly & quick.
google avatar

Yelp
My husband and I stopped for a quick drink and snack on Fremont and we're so happy we stopped here. Food and drinks were delish, and Kali our server was so efficient and kind to chat with. We definitely recommend this location and Kali for service!
google avatar

Alicia W.

Yelp
We wanted to go to the brewery across the street but realized they didn't have food, so we came here instead! This tavern is located at the back of the Fremont Street Experience and is in walking distance of so many fun places. They have a drink deal for $6 vodka lemonades so we got several of those and they were really good. We got the Irish Nachos as an appetizer which have thinly sliced potatoes instead of chips. These were amazing!! Essentially a plate of potato skins but thinner and stacked like nachos. I got the Prime Dip served with au jus and chips for my meal, it was okay but nothing special. The place was busy but our waitress came by several times to check in on us and the service was prompt. This was a pretty average restaurant experience, it did not go above and beyond but did meet our needs of what we were looking for. I would come here again for the drinks and an app but probably not for a full meal with so many other options nearby.
google avatar

Stacia N.

Yelp
My man is a fan of Irish pubs which brought us in. I got the Irish Nachos. They are baked potatoes sliced up. Not what I had at the Irish pub in New York New York. Not crispy, but cheese, bacon, chives & you can get sour cream but I didn't cuz I'm old & I'll regret it later and it'll be a long walk/Uber home. Wouldn't get them again. I got a short (not sure if y'all is an option) coconut rum & coke. My friend got a Sailor Jerry & coke & my husband got a beer. Quiet place. Music playing but off the loud strip. Not super busy but a nice place to stop and have a drink and chat. Waitress was very nice & helpful. Bathrooms were gross & over flowing with trash. Not public restrooms either.
google avatar

Carlos Z.

Yelp
Great service from Alicia and the crew. Very attentive and loved the calamari. Always a great time at Hennessey's!
google avatar

Phil H.

Yelp
Great food. Great steak. Great dinner. Great service. Outdoor patio has heaters. Ample seating inside and outside. Tasty stuff Great beverages. Great for groups. Loyd as the strip dictates. Prices are average at best. Enjoyable dinner with friends that come in town for a Vegas Style dinner without breaking the bank but way better than a commercial stop littered in the area. Well policed zones. Kid friendly bur has a nice full bar with good selection of beers. Footsteps to Fremont Street and Zipline. Enjoy a good meal here without the hustle of the strip.
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
Dined in because of their location. It was convenient. Experience really didn't excite me. Sat outside which was nice. Got a breakfast sandwich and a drink. Wasn't too memorable. It was satisfying but I wouldn't rave about it. Service was decent. Not bad. Not sure if I would return.
google avatar

Scott F.

Yelp
A great place to sit outside and people watch at the end of The Fremont Street Experience. We only shared the onion ring and French fry combo with drinks as we needed a snack after a day walking around. Service was prompt and the drinks were good. We liked having two great options in the same basket, as we enjoy both. Ordering two different orders seems to be two much, so smaller portions gives us just enough.
google avatar

Si X.

Yelp
The food was really tasty and the server was very nice too. We came on a night with buy one get one free burgers without even knowing. So the price was excellent. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is how ridiculously loud the music was. I couldn't hear anything my server was saying to us. I couldn't hear anything my boyfriend said. The loud music literally hurt my ears and killed my appetite.
google avatar

Michaela B.

Yelp
Quite literally the best service I've ever had in my entire life. Pinar is a great server and we made such a great connection. The drinks were so cute and delicious. The burgers are but one get one which is such a good
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
7-19-2023 Best Nachos in town. Been here many times over the past 20 years and always return for good food and great service. celebrating 43 years wedding anniversary.
google avatar

Jackson W.

Yelp
The bartender was great! The calamari had the worst obnoxious odor and had to be sent back. The French onion soup was mediocre. I specifically asked for the cheese to be well caramelized and it was just the opposite with little to no color. Stay and enjoy the appetizers if you like the smell of your ex-mother-in-laws sweaty snatch and Guinness. All of the other reviews are spot on.
google avatar

Kenny D.

Yelp
The food is great, I had the French onion soup, which was great and the Hennessy burger it was good, but the fries wasn't that hot tempered
google avatar

Tushay G.

Yelp
This was my first time and the food and drinks were delicious. The hostess was pleasant and suggested drinks , the atmosphere was nice ( multiple TVs) & I would certainly recommend if in the area.
