Henri Restaurant

Yesterday I got invited out of the blue to this restaurant with words - it is the best food you will eat in your lifetime 😋 once I came in , the expectations of the words from my friends were high! The staff is exceptional! Once you enter, you are greeted by the owner and invited to your table. I strongly dont recommend you going with the menu, it is better to get the devastation set - with the choice of the chef! I am not sure if the dishes I got (7 of them in total) could even be considered food or it is a type of art by Vincent Van Gogh 🥰 The experince from entering to tasting the art is extraordinary. Every dish is served by different glasses of wine and the staff makes the quality and service the best possible to try out. I strongly do not recommend to try to much of bread with olive oil, or you will get into the danger of not having enough space in stomach. Henri himself talks to each client and he is very friendly - this is almost impossible to find anymore on the planet Earth! Exceptional place to come back for! Major thank you to make the experience the best one. Also, don't worry about next morning, after you come home - the food would already be digested by your stomach and in the morning you will wake up as you have not eaten anything. I was honestly impressed to wake up in the morning after eating 7 courses of art and to order breakfast!

Fantastic restaurant - the best food we had in Viareggio! The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, we were treated to a glass of fizz on arrival and the portions were great. A must visit if you’re in the area!

Where should I begin? We had to dine there twice because the first time left us in awe. Henri is such a passionate owner of his restaurant, offering so much hospitality it’s almost unreal. I truly recommend his restaurant if you can go. There aren’t many seats, though, so be sure to book in advance! We’ll sure be coming back someday.

Every person who finds themselves near Viareggio must reserve a table at Henri. We were here for only a night but they sat us (even after we caused a reservation error) and gave us the best dining experience we’ve ever had. The food and wine were incredible. The service perfect. If you want to experience the dream Italian meal then this is the place. The tasting menu was such a wonderful way to try things I’ve never had before. Thank you Henri, we will never forget you.

Fantastic restaurant! The seafood platter was unbelievably tasty, pasta dishes spectacular, the crepes suzette are like nowhere else. The atmosphere is pleasant, service - spotless. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and got some dessert nibbles - all free of charge which you don’t see every day in a restaurant of such class. Would eat there every day if I could! 10/10

We dined twice with Henri during our holiday in Viareggio. Henri was highly recommended to us by friends who had dined 3 years earlier. The dinner was superb but the atmosphere and welcome created by Henri and Monika will stay with us for ever. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and were sincerely thanked upon our return. Dining at Henri’s is a memorable experience - superb cuisine, hospitality and service. We will be returning when we next visit Viareggio. Highly recommend! Jac and Frank

I would highly recommend this as a must eat restaurant for anyone visiting Viareggio. The food was absolutely delicious - I would say some of the best food I have ever eaten (especially the ravioli with burrata, Parmesan cream and seasonal truffle). We are vegetarian and were well catered for, with all course executed to a very high standard. The service was outstanding and the wine list exceptional. I could not rate L’enoteca highly enough, especially for vegetarians looking for top quality food like us
