"The name of this restaurant refers to its owner Henri Prosperi, who returned to his beloved Viareggio in 2021. This accomplished maître d' from another era will introduce you, with both charm and professionalism, to his daughter Serena’s dishes, which are finely balanced between classic and modern flavours, with the occasional French influence. The chef’s menu features meat and fish dishes, with a firm focus on luxury ingredients. The same is true of the wine list, which includes renowned labels such as Petrus and Sassicaia, as well as some of the best French and Italian sparkling wines. Where should I begin? We had to dine there twice because the first time left us in awe. Henri is such a passionate owner of his restaurant, offering so much hospitality it’s almost unreal. I truly recommend his restaurant if you can go. There aren’t many seats, though, so be sure to book in advance! We’ll sure be coming back someday.

Fantastic restaurant! The seafood platter was unbelievably tasty, pasta dishes spectacular, the crepes suzette are like nowhere else. The atmosphere is pleasant, service - spotless. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and got some dessert nibbles - all free of charge which you don’t see every day in a restaurant of such class. Would eat there every day if I could! 10/10

Henri and his family are amazing chefs. Henri was so warm and welcoming, and the food was extraordinary! My wife and I were visiting from Nova Scotia, Canada and the hospitality was exceptional!! We had a wonderful evening and were treated like royalty. Merci Henri!!

One of the best places I've ever eaten. Octopus was outstanding. The salmon was to die for. The cappellaci was the star of the show and superb. The chateaubriand was exquisite. Such a beautiful place to spend the night. Henri was an excellent host, and the care he has for his craft is evident. We cannot wait to come back when we get the chance.

Every person who finds themselves near Viareggio must reserve a table at Henri. We were here for only a night but they sat us (even after we caused a reservation error) and gave us the best dining experience we’ve ever had. The food and wine were incredible. The service perfect. If you want to experience the dream Italian meal then this is the place. The tasting menu was such a wonderful way to try things I’ve never had before. Thank you Henri, we will never forget you.

I would highly recommend this as a must eat restaurant for anyone visiting Viareggio. The food was absolutely delicious - I would say some of the best food I have ever eaten (especially the ravioli with burrata, Parmesan cream and seasonal truffle). We are vegetarian and were well catered for, with all course executed to a very high standard. The service was outstanding and the wine list exceptional. I could not rate L’enoteca highly enough, especially for vegetarians looking for top quality food like us
