This place has the best food ever. As far as the owner from this miserable katherine/Karen, I ALWAYS see him greet his customers with respect. them when he is not cooking. The cook is a Michelin award winning chef.

Had a wonderful night with my fiancée a couple weeks back. Great food, shrimp dish was unreal good. Octopus was incredibly tender. Great addition to Bronxville. Can’t wait to go back.

great local restaurant! food is always amazing, the wait staff is very pleasant and attentive! the chef is a bit peculiar but always makes sure you walk out happy! the bartender makes a mean baybreeze! the "Leonardo" sandwich was not great! too big and tasted bland! otherwise highly recommended!

On line menu is BS. You go out to have fun and not have service off your phone to check the menu. Lazy on ownership. Only place in Bronxville I am aware that does that.

Delicious food top to bottom. The Burgerdini is the best thing in the menu, but everything on it is delicious. I also love the Angry Joe! Pair a couple of dishes on the menu with a bucket of Narragansetts and you got yourself a dinner for two!

On the plus side, the food was very good and we would have returned if the owner wasn’t so unpleasant. He moved 4 of us from the front of the restaurant (we got there and no one was there) to a cramped table in the back to keep the 4-top we were at open to larger parties. No larger parties came and 3 people were eating there when we left. We ordered with waitress who was pleasant. Owner came back soon after to say that they didn’t have 2 of the 3 sides we’d ordered so we ordered another full entree. If he weren’t so brusque and rude, all of this would have been okay. The atmosphere is rough, several chairs were wobbly: it’s like a pub, but not a warm, friendly one - a narrow dark one. It’s a shame the place is so unpleasant.

The food is high end but at affordable prices. Chef took his skills at 5 star restaurants and completely transformed this former pub. Has the atmosphere of a local place - owner/chef will know you quickly and interact- with the food of a top chef. It can get packed and there’s no resos but grab a drink at the long bar

We've been in NY state for two weeks for a work trip. Found this place by chance. We've been welcomed with great people, super nice food, nice beers. Exactly what we were looking for. Kudo's for the cook and for Aric, the bartender! Go there and enjoy

Over the past year, I've returned to Henry's on several occasions. Each experience has proven my initial experience wrong. I thought Henry's was just a passing neighborhood bar, but it's actually so much more. Yes, it's a bar. They have all the beer and liquor you'd find anywhere else, but what sets Henry's apart from your average place is the food and the people. The food is spectacular. Elevated staples and specials you've never had before. Served quickly and perfectly prepared. The bartenders are kind and friendly. They'll chat. They'll get tot know your name. And sometimes if you show up after the kitchen shuts down, the owner will cut up some pepperoni and bread, on the house. Something I won't soon forget.

We have not dined here, but we order takeout. The only thing I have to say is, best burger in Westchester, Hands Down! Highly recommend this place.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant (11/15/25) was so disgusting and disappointing it must be shared. We sat at the bar, received a lukewarm greeting and was asked if I we wanted food or drinks and when we replied that we wanted food, the bartender immediately said the kitchen was closed, which it was not. When it was confirmed the kitchen was open, he said nothing else. He walked past us at least three times, never even acknowledging that we were sitting there, saying nothing and then when we inquired about a menu, he rudely replied "we don't have menus, go on line" and proceeded to give us the website as he walked away. We will not be returning and would not recommend this establishment, unless you enjoy being ignored and treated poorly.

We walked in and asked if we needed a reservation, which seemed to be a new policy. We were told no, and that we could sit at the bar. We ordered an appetizer, two burgers, and four drinks amongst both of us , along with an after-dinner drink costing $14 while my husband was still enjoying his drink. The chef (cook) came out and asked if we were ordering another drink. He mentioned that this isn't a bar, but a restaurant, implying that we should finish our drinks so others could sit. I told him my husband was still drinking his, and he replied, "No worries, you can finish it." Wow well thanks I just paid $14 bucks for it !! Honestly, Mr. Chef, that was extremely rude. Why don't you get more tables so people can sit comfortably? We've never been treated so rudely anywhere before.

Tried to get a drink at the bar and was told all spaces were reserved! The owner is rude. Ate there a lot before the new reservation only policy was implemented and the food is good. The owner is forgetting all of the people who went there early on and built up his business. Never again.

Food is consistently great. Burgers are always on point! Juicy and flavorful and crispy fries. My go to neighborhood spot.

Made a reservation that was not honored. The owner was incredibly rude even though we had been before and came at the suggestion of a friend. Hospitality is meaningless to this place. Don't go here.

AMAZING!! High-End casual - w/ some serious talent in the kitchen! Pork belly Cuban Sammie? On a Baguette no less? Homemade Onion rings? Great place to go & chill, read my book quietly - & was doted upon by staff!! As an Executive Chef, AND a ChowHound? They hit every note, perfectly! LOVE this Place - Go. Go NOW? Before I take your seat!!

Never again. I really wanted to like this place....within walking distance, relatively good food, etc. Was even willing to overlook food poisoning on one occasion. But the owner is so incredibly rude - talked down to and insulted us because we supposedly mispronunced something on the menu, yelled at us and then grabbed our drinks away and told us to leave when we were basically speechless. Never experienced treatment like that and certainly won't go back.

What a treat to eat one of the best burgers, fries and onion rings I've had in a long time, IF ever. Seriously this was some darn good eats. The Smash burger was delicious, you could taste the beef with a hint of salt. The burger comes with lettuce, tomato, and fries. I added caramelized onions (add it, you'll thank me) which enhanced the burger taste even more. I asked for onion rings instead of fries as my husband was getting fries with his meal. The onion rings were crispy and full of great flavor. After I devoured my meal, I was ready to discount my husband's fries. Good thing I didn't, they too were delicious with a hint of truffle that made them addictive. I couldn't stop eating them even though I was full of my meal. We both had two rum punches which were very good too. Reasonable prices and they offer a variety of dishes, not just bar food. They are open 7 days a week, street parking.

Do not go to Henry's . Very dishonest when it comes to food prices. I will never go there ever again. Be honest with customers and let them know about extra charges.

The food is excellent And the portions are large. No one in our group could finish. Nobody would ever think the fantastic food would come out of this kitchen but don't judge a book by its cover.

This place is awesome. Unassuming with an incredible chef and friendly service - the burgers are all great and anything Italian is also a standout. Sometimes they have specials so be sure to ask. I had a chicken cacciatore dish last month that was incredible. Expertly made martinis, generous pours of wine, it's a great and consistent spot.

A nice spot to grab a bite or have a few drinks. The space is a tad small. It makes for uncomfortable moving about if it's busy (especially at the bar). Food was pretty good for a bar. That was a nice surprise. Had a glass of Bordeaux & ordered a the Smashed Ribeye Burger. Had wings fir appetizer. A very basic fare but it was well executed.

Great spot, fun atmosphere and excellent Philly cheese sandwich. Bartenders are friendly and shishito peppers are worth a try as you enjoy a cocktail!

Came to Bronxville to eat at a different venue and after being told it was an hour wait for a table for 2 on a Tuesday night, my son suggested Henry's. What a serendipitous event that turned out to be! After a quick perusal of the menu, I decided on their "Smashed" burger to which I added American Cheese. It already comes with lettuce, tomato and raw onion so I let it ride. The burger was cooked to perfection with a crispy, crunchy crust. It was juicy and flavorful. The only downside was the lettuce made it difficult to cut through with the supplied butter knife so the bottom half of my bun did not match the top half. First world problems for sure! I opted for the house made potato chips and they are fantastic. I can't wait to go back and have another!

Third time is a charm. This place just keeps getting better and better. The Chicken Martini was amazing. Chicken Scarpariello was unreal- probably one of the best I've ever had. I'm telling you the food, service , and atmosphere in this place is great. Great place for a date night - for me and my wife anyway.

Avoid. We were a group of about 7, ordered drinks at the bar, immediately and rudely told to leave. The owner said we should have "called ahead"... to drink... at a bar. They had 4 tables in the whole place yet we were putting too much pressure on the place. Save yourself the trouble.

We went to Henry's last night for a low key birthday dinner last night. We were greeted by the owner who took our drink order. We started out with an order of wings and a cesar salad which were both very good. The waiter who took our order was friendly. He made it easy for me to order according to my dietary restrictions and the owner even came out to share how he would prepare it. Three of the five of us had the steak frites and all agreed the steak was very good. The fries would've been better had they been warm/crispy but we figured they were plated b/f the steak was ready and were still enjoyed by all. My daughter was happy with her salad with grilled salmon and our experience at Henry's was a fun and positive one. We are new to the neighborhood and are looking forward to going back as there were many more things on the menu we want to try- the pastas looked great and the burgers we saw being served also looked amazing! It's a small place that's easy to pass by, but don't pass up on this cozy bar scene restaurant with great food.

Save yourself a trip to this dump! The owner is the most obnoxious unprofessional "service' professional I've encountered. The place is called a BAR and Grill and yet he thinks that it is a high concept gastropub and rudely asked a group of paying customers to leave because he was unable to accommodate the party who was ordering drinks in an uncrowded place. The staff is miserable. The place smells and with so many other great options in Bronxville, don't spend your money to this joke of a BAR and Grill.

This place is a gem. The food is delicious. Love their wine choices and service is great.

We absolutely love the burgers here and the service is great! Tonight, my husband and I came in to quickly grab a bite before running off to a wake and the burgers were amazing, salad was fresh and crisp and clean and there was a bar tender John Price that was super knowledgeable about food & wine & just really good guy for us to talk to! Love this place will be back the next time we visit Bronxville!

This place is a hidden gem in Bronxville. The staff was awesome. The service splendid and the food is top notch. Go see Frank and or Brian and tell them caddy sent ya.

Love this establishment. You walk in it's simple and looks like a dive bar much different then the other restaurants in bville. But the minute you walk in the service is amazing and then you scan the menu def not your typical bar food plus amazing specials. I'm a restaurant snob and foodie and I'm telling you go here I have had several items on the menu currently my favorites are the smash burger, sweet potato fries, Caesar salad with shrimp, and the arancini. My husband loves the chicken parm it's def good and I'm not a chicken parm fan. It's turned me on to eating chicken parm I am an eggplant parm fan. My co worker is obsessed with the mozz sticks and home made potato chips as well. The owner is so accommodating and an amazing chef. It's also open a little bit later during the week which is good for professions ending their day late. Prices are fair. But at the end of the day I would have to say I like coming here at least once a week! Try the food it won't dissapoint! It's also relaxed and fun! I'm glad Henry's opened in Bronxville!

I was there last week with a small group to celebrate a co-workers 50th Birthday! The owner Fran was rude, arrogant & unprofessional to say the least! He kept circling our group, shoulder bumping one of my friends & threatened to punch him out. What kind of business owner is that? I will never go back there again!

Not sure how the other reviewers had bad experience with the food. Also unsure of how a person could leave such a poor review for any restaurant during a time when restaurants are Struggling to exist. I had the steak sandwich MR and it was fantastic. We also had a couple of cocktails which were perfectly made by very sweet bartenders. The fries couldn't be more perfect. Definitely going back for both dine in and take out. The atmosphere is perfect for gastro pub food and any foodies in the BXV are should consider it worth checking out. But it is small so they can't fit a lot of people right now due COVID restrictions.

I went to this location years ago, but I think it was another bar or owner. When a friend mentioned she recently stopped in to Henry's and enjoyed it, I decided to go back. Went on a Friday evening and it was quiet, but the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. I rarely order chicken sandwiches because it seems they're usually cooked to death and dry, but i ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. The chicken was juicy and served on a nice brioche, and it went well with my side of home made chips and cold beer. My date enjoyed his dinner as well. Bartender was friendly and gave good service. Would go again.

Great bar! Quality food. Muscles were delicious and the GiGi Salad was phenomenal. Great after work spot, or date night. To busy eating to take food pics!

Have experienced Henrys a few times and honestly have mixed feelings, I guess because my experiences have been mixed. First time the food was amazing, second time it came out cold and they were not that friendly when I pointed it out. The crowd and the vibe is also highly variable. I would say it is worth trying and hopefully you catch them on a good night.

What a hidden gem! Excellent food, excellent service! Get the General Tao's cauliflower - you won't regret it. The customer service is off the hook - highly recommend!!

Henry's is a solid go-to local bar with a surprise! Great food - The steak frites is superb and reasonably priced. In a town with great burger options Henry's is juicy and satisfying. The staff is friendly and attentive. It is a bar and can get a bit noisy but it's a great local treasure

Defined more of a bar than a grill. On a Saturday night, extremely loud. Service was quick but the food was just mediocre. Can't say I'd go again.

Delicious dinner. Entire family loved their dinner. Chicken Milanese and Spicy vodka rigatoni were both great.

NEW NEIGHBORHOOD FAVE! This place was recently bought by a new owner (Dec. 2020) and the food and service are both great. The menu is constantly changing with new seasonal additions, and EVERYTHING I've had here has been phenomenal! I haven't had a bad meal yet....and I'm a total foodie. The chef & owner is very talented and personable. I love when he comes out of the kitchen long enough for a break to chat with the patrons and have a drink with the regulars...perfect local neighborhood bar with an exceptional menu. If you are looking for the same old thing every time you come in, you might be disappointed because the music changes with the different crowds and the menu is always a surprise. I'll never get bored of this place!

Cozy, hidden gem right by the train station. The food here is fantastic, with a great beer tap selection. Would recommend the chicken martini. Will definitely be back, highly recommend!

While visiting friends in the area. Our friends recommend eating lunch. We stopped here to check it out. We like the atmosphere and decor. The food was really good. My wife and I had the Lobster Rolls and onion rings and my son had the Steak Frites.

I've been here with my family several times now over the past year or so. The food is consistently excellent. We haven't had a bad meal here. And a surprisingly great pint of Guinness.

Had a wonderful experience here for dinner last night. Had the black label burger with sweet potato fries- the best burger ever!! Great atmosphere and service just wish it were bigger as we were 5 and there's only one table to fit us. Two very nice patrons actually were kind enough to move so our party could sit there! Will definitely be back.

Chill atmosphere - good spot for cocktails with friends/husband with great food. This has been a couple different bars before but the new owner/chef has elevated to a higher level. Recommend!

Walked in and sat at bar. Downloaded menu to phone. Noticed beers they had on tap. Not very busy but bartender didn't seem interested in making his way down to take my drink order. Sat for 10 minutes trying to get his attention. Nothing. Got up and left.

Wow, amazing food and relaxing, cool atmosphere. My pasta dish with sausage crumbles for $4 extra was incredibly delicious along with a couple of Peroni drafts to wash down. A hefty $47 including tip for a pasta dish and two beers...and worth every penny. Will definitely be back soon! Excellent!

Hidden Gem. Amazing food - gastro-pub meets Italia. Relaxing atmosphere w great bartenders and owner. Diverse menu features amazing pastas, steak frites, duck. Try some of the house cocktails.

So happy to see this great new restaurant in Bronxville. It's astonishing to see this delicious, fresh and vibrant food come out of that tiny kitchen. We love going there for their seafood as we are pescatarians. It' gets hard finding places that offer more than just salmon for fish. Cocktails are pretty yummy as well.

Great Reuben. Better prices than the area. Clean. Good bartender. I hope they can stay open through all this BS.

Henry's is certainly one of the best restaurants in Bronxville. One would never guess by its humble appearance and dive bar vibe. I've tried most of the menu and its very well executed - they really care about the quality of the ingredients and I also think the prices are very fair as well. The draft beer lines and clean and crisp and always served cold. I think they could add a couple design flourishes and really take the space to the next level to match the food. My only complaint with Henry's is that they force you to view the menu on your phone which is a very annoying and inelegant solution. People go to bars and restaurants to relax and unplug, not squint at mobile menus while they decide what they want to eat and drink. Very amateur decision to make that part of the experience, but I'm still going to give Henry's 5 stars for the execution of their food. Keep up the good work.

Henry's Bar & Grill is a hidden gem! The food is amazing. Like seriously, the best place we've taken in from or eaten at in years. It boasts NYC quality food, which is nearly impossible to find in the burbs. The chef is an expert in creating northern Italian food, with a specialty in fish. BUT, he can also whip up delicious gastro-pub fare, like wings, fried chicken sandwiches and burgers. We LOVE the salmon with honey soy glaze and peppers, the lobster roll, the mussels and the chicken martini. You can't go wrong with anything you pick. We love to go here for special occasions because we know we will always have a delicious meal and great experience. Seriously, you must go!

4:30pm Thursday empty bar . I walk in bartender playing on her cell . I went to her and I asked her if the kitchen was open she said yes , I asked for the menu she asked me to wait ( since she was on the phone) . When She finished she Came with the menu, I told her what I want to drink and she went back to the kitchen talk with the guy . I wait , wait ... the kitchen guy left , she went downstairs to get ice and never gave my drink and i couldn't wait anymore and I left because I couldn't wait for the kitchen guy to come back . My point is you can't be professional just when the bar is busy every costumer is valuable .
