Henry's Louisiana Grill is a great place located in downtown Acworth. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is the most unique in the area. I had the shrimp boil and it was quite spicy. The corn absorbed all the heat, but I finished my plate anyway. You can see some of the other dishes as well as the interior of the restaurant. People drive from all over to come eat the best Cajun food not in NOLA. You should come too and enjoy your experience.

This place was incredible!! The food, the drinks, the service was absolutely amazing!!! Haley was so sweet and funny!! We enjoyed every single thing we tried. I can't wait to go back. 100/10 highly recommend!!!

The food and drinks here are delicious. My only complaint is that we had to grab a hot sauce from another table because we didn't have one. The server came and took it from us to return to the table. She brought us a new one. Even though we were still provided with the item missing from our table, I found it rude to take it from us. It would have been more professional to replace the one from the other table. It definitely left me feeling like I got a slap on the hand, which isn't the service I expected. It was our first time there and we will likely still return because the food was the star of the show. Overall, a great experience.

Fantastic experience! Awesome atmosphere. Big menu with lots of options. Everything on it slams. You can pick anything at random and be completely satisfied. The food here is just really outstanding.

Wow first time in many years Henrys is open New years day.. we took a chance and yes it was! Our server was Brianna , she was fantastic. Not only attentive to all our needs but answered all our questions. It made our entire time at lunch really great.. now add the Mgr who played ring toss with beads with the guys and all laughed. Our party of 3 had the fish sandwich, Chicken Fried Chicken BLT, Cheyanne Burger and of course all ended with the delicious banana pudding cheesecake! The service and food were just great.. the atmosphere and music they played brought us back to our NOLA days. Make Henrys a part of your 2026 routine.. and be sure to say HI to Brianna, a real sweetheart and great waitress ! We left full and satisfied.. see you soon and please dont change anything!

Wow! W O W ! ! ! While traveling on I75 and looking for a fun place to eat, this popped up as a choice. 4.7 with over 6000 reviews. That looks like a place to check out.... First, it was a busy, revived downtown with charming buildings. Then we went inside to tin ceilings, great architecture, and friendly faces. We were lucky and got what felt like a private corner booth where we could appreciate the Cajun vibe. Kelsey, our delightful server was very helpful with her suggestions and checked on us often. Since we were passing through and didn’t know how long before we will be back by we wanted to experience as much of Chef Henry's as we could. When I couldn't decide between grits or jambalaya under my fish, she recommended half and half! They were both fabulous! Even the house salad had a dressing with a little kick. The hush puppies were different and especially good too. I love spicy and my hubby prefers not spicy. There was easily something for both of us to love. Kelsey's genuine delight in our enjoyment of the food made our meal special too. This little gem will go in my saved places in my maps as a favorite place just north of Atanta and not too far off the interstate. It is worth the trip!

Henry’s Louisiana grill has always been a favorite of my wife and I. If we ever pass by, we have to stop. We haven’t been in over a year or so and was super excited to finally dine in again. Our server was excellent and was very attentive. We ordered drinks off the specialty drink list since it was October 1st, and unfortunately both drinks were terrible, I had the spicy margarita and my wife had a berry cocktail both which were un-drinkable. Our food came out, chicken ohh lala and the Liam’s chicken and crabmeat. The chicken oh lala was very bland, I couldn’t taste any seasoning other than a slight spice and the chicken was tough and overcooked, also not the juicy sliced chicken breast that used to be served with it. The chicken bites on the plate remind me of baked Tyson bites… (not a $20 pasta plate) The Liam’s chicken came out super over cooked and only a small part was edible as the chicken was so hard and tough, as well as there not being a single piece of crabmeat in the plate. Overall, for a $100 dollar meal including our drinks, we were super disappointed and saddened as one of our favorite places seems to be cutting corners and cheaping out on food like most other places. Unless something changes I wouldn’t waste my time or travel going there anymore unfortunately.. so sad

Google
The consistency and quality of food at Henry’s over the years has remained such a high standard that the staff refuses to lower. The service is always phenomenal. There have been recent changes in the top end but the customers are still getting high quality meals with service provided by a dedicated staff that goes beyond any normal expectations. Guests come from miles away knowing the reputation and others look on the internet for recommendations as they travel. They are all surprised as first timers at the quality and service they receive. . The locals make it a point to come in and support the restaurant and will plan their visits to see their favorite bartender or server. Take the opportunity to visit and see for yourself.

Yelp
Go for the food, go for the vibe, go for the entertainment, just go. I have been to Henry's twice and both times were amazing. The food is great and comes with so much flavor. I've been both before and after it was sold and I cannot tell the difference. Henry, the founder and previous owner use to come out and mingle with the guests and give everyone beads. The new ownership does the same thing but with a little more excitement. For food we had the hot chili gator for an app (taste like chicken...) and a big honkin bowl of jambalaya. Good grief the bowl of jambalaya was so good and filling. I needed a nap afterwards. Service was great but do plan on a wait if you walk up. I think they take reservations and I would highly recommend it.

Yelp
Highly recommended! We love going to Henry's whenever we have a chance to go to Acworth. It's authentic Cajun food is to die for! The service is fantastic. The servers are all wonderful and it is all set a wonderful Cajun feel. Henry, the owner has since sold to another company, but honestly, you can't tell a difference. The server was telling us that they have kept him on as a liaison to make sure that the service stays the same!

Yelp
Quaint little place off the beaten path with great food, that is the food that was cooked through anyways. Ordered the chicken and shrimp plate, everything was great except for the under cooked chicken. The pork chop meals was amazing. The reason I took a star away was because we still had to pay for the under cooked chicken on both plates. Not cool at all. Or server Sophie was outstanding, so ask for her if you decide to stop in.

Yelp
As always. Great service and great food. The brunch menu is all that was offered on Sunday between 9a-3p - and it gives great variety. The drink menu for brunch cocktails is expansive. The ambiance is the same and fits the restaurant - Louisiana Just come- you may want to make a reservation on weeknights and weekend nights- always busy.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant on a Thursday night, the waitress was friendly and the food and drinks came out very quickly. I started with the gator appetizer, which was tasty. For my entrée, I had the Oyster Oh La La, which was also good. For cocktails we had the Sazerac drink which wasn't great seemed a bit watered down. The overall vibe of the place was nice, with some of the New Orleans decor. Overall, I had a good experience.

Yelp
AMAZING! This is the best Cajun food outside of Atlanta. They've changed owners and I was worried the quality would take a hit but it didn't! I would seriously recommend the gator bites! Delicious! My husband and I both got a to go order with dinner for lunch tomorrow! Their food is that good! If you're looking for a fun Fat Tuesday party, this is it!

Yelp
Fantastic. Best Salmon Steak I've ever had and that's saying a lot. Walking into this restaurant you feel like you've been transported from Acworth, GA to NOLA. The owner himself walks around throwing beads around everyone's necks. (Might have been because Mario Gras was around the corner.) This was lunch. I'd love to see the atmosphere in the evening!

Yelp
Food excellent. Service excellent Ambience nice but load. Server was attentive and handled our request well.

Yelp
Can't wait to go back to Henry's tonight!!! We always stop on our way to and from Columbus Ohio and Venice Florida. We were lucky to see Henry before his last day.

Yelp
A must when we visit Georgia! Every single thing on the menu is fabulous, outstanding service. The vibe is New Orleans and happy! Recommend a reservation if it's a weekend and have some patience for parking. Brunch is also lovely.

Yelp
We wanted to grab lunch here for Fat Tuesday. I made reservations for 2:00 pm and we arrived at that time. The restaurant was buzzing with diners but we were seated upon arrival. Chef Henry greeted us at the door and slung some beads around my neck. He complimented my better half on her Mardi Gras themed top and leggings. We were seated at a high top in the bar area which allowed us to people watch during our meal. Our server Ella greeted us and took our drink orders. She was super nice and helpful. We asked her about the frog leg appetizer and she said that the servers taste all the specials each day but she was not a big fan of frog legs. We love them and ordered this dish as an appetizer. They were absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. For lunch, we ordered the blackened shrimp, scallops and salmon served over couscous. It was awesome and an ample portion that we could have shared. The drinks were great and the restaurant was busy the entire time we were there for lunch. They even gave us a small slice of King Cake for dessert as Lagniappe (look it up if you don't recognize the phrase). All in this was another great dining experience presented by Chef Henry. This Cajun Grill is a must try in Acworth.

Yelp
I'd say it is the best restaurant in Acworth. I was stopping by a lot during the pandemic and picking up curbside. They did a great job with that. So tasty! I like their Cajun sampler appetizer. You get to choose three small portions of dishes that are all good. Great hush puppies. Their gumbo is nice. Shrimp Creole is good. My mom loves their Shrimp & Grits. So much fun to eat in the bar area, hang out and party like New Orleans. Fun customers, fun staff and sometimes Chef Henry walks around and says "hello." btw - Like New Orleans - Acworth lets you take drinks outside. To Go! Luv It!! Just don't walk by those signs that say that it's the end of the designated drinking area.

Yelp
My go to spot when I'm in Kennesaw. The place is always so vibrant and inviting. Food always too notch. My fave are the appetizers, Chicken Ooh LaLa with shrimp and that banana bread pudding! Wow!

Yelp
Having been married to a Cajun woman for 16 years, and currently being with a Cajun woman who is a chef... my perspective may be skewed. But here's what I'll say. 1. Henry's is popular. You'll hear a lot about it the locals. 2. Henry himself is a great guy and very engaged with his restaurant and patrons 3. The food is good. It's above average... unless you're from south Louisiana. Then you'll have opinions. 4. I personally think Gumbeaux's in Douglasville has better food All of that said... I still HAVE to say Henry's is definitely recommended. Being the 2nd best Cajun/Creole food in Atlanta ain't nothin'. You will enjoy it and not be disappointed.

Yelp
Where do I start???? What an amazing and fun atmosphere, the moment you walk in the door. They gave us a spacious corner booth, which is always appreciated due to my service animal. There were 4 of us. I didn't know what to get so I got 3 things, all apps. First timer on the shrimp and grits and it was awesome. What was I waiting for? The jambalaya was excellent. It was nice and hot. I also had Boudin balls. Spicy pork, onions and rice served with a spicy sauce (horseradish). These were interesting. They were good but I suspect they be a bit of an acquired taste? The sauce was very good. My wife had the St Charles pasta seafood entree. I was only able to get a bite because she pretty much cleared the rest. It was excellent. Our waitress was very nice. Brought a bowl of water for Tuukka. There were 4 of us. Four beers, 1 martini, 3 apps, 3 entrees and a lemonade came to $141 including tax. I found this to be a GREAT deal @$35/person. As good as the food was, the surprise visit from Buddy the Elf and a sing a long made the night. I was told that Henry's Restaurant was "an experience ". That statement could not be more true. Henry and his staff did not disappoint this first timer. We will absolutely be back!!!

Yelp
Chef Henry is doing something special in Acworth, GA. This restaurant has everything you would expect to find in Louisiana and if you're lucky you'll even catch Chef Henry tossing some beads around your neck along with some great conversation. He's quite the character and I'm sure has enough life stories to keep you coming back here over and over again. Everything about Henry's is exceptional. Atmosphere, Service, Food Quality, Taste and Authentic Flavors - all of it top notch. Even on a Tuesday night this place drew in a crowd and I suspect it's busy each and every night. Even if there's a wait, it's well worth it. The Jumbalaya and Chicken Ooh La La dishes were out of this world Delicious. Jumbalaya is perhaps some of the best I've had. The perfect mix of andouille sausage, seafood, creole-style rice and onions and peppers. The Chicken Ooh La La was so rich and satisfying. That is one dish I would order again and again and again. My only complaint is that this place is too far from my home town in Florida. I'd come back here just to come have dinner here again. Can't wait to do just that.

Yelp
Convenient parking across the street. Very friendly staff. Nice overall vibe. Drinks were a little weak or maybe it was just what I ordered (skinny margarita). A friend of mine invited me here. My menu options were limited because I'm lactose intolerant and most of the dishes were cream based. I ordered the jambalaya and didn't like it. The rice was too mushy and the flavor was bland unless I included a piece of sausage or crawfish with each bite. I exchanged the jambalaya for a shrimp platter, which was salty but way better. The food was good but not great. Limited options of non dairy items tainted my visit. The staff was the highlight. Great people!

Yelp
Welll. I read that there is new ownership and when we didn't see Henry, I assumed it was possibly true. The initial service was good but out waitress forgot our order a few times and we had to remind her. She was very sweet and didn't mean any harm but.... We ordered mulitple items that never came. Also one of our orders was totallu wrong. With thay being said, we received our order and let me say the food was still pretty good. I remember it being amazing but this time it was just good. Some of it was luke warm and I'll say this... the Bourbon mac and cheese is not good. It does not have any flavor (tasted and looked like Kraft). I hesitated to post this because we have been here multiple times over the years and had nothing but amazing things to say. This was actually one of our parties first time and she wasn't impressed. I hope this post helps them to go back to the old recipes and ways of doing things...

Yelp
Wonderful food and service! Great lunch prices. I will be back. I had shrimp and grits and red beans and rice. The grits had plenty of flavor. The red beans and rice also had an amazing taste. Manager / owner was checking on everyone. My server was in training and made sure I had everything I needed. Please give it a try if you have not already!!!

Yelp
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Highly recommend making a reservation as we were seated promptly at our reservation time but they were quoting an hour wait to walk ins on a Saturday evening. Chicken OoLaLa was outstanding. So kind of them to pack up some bread pudding on the house for my friend whose birthday we were celebrating as well.

Yelp
I rarely give five stars, but this place was a wonderful culinary experience! From start to finish, we were very impressed with all of the flavors. We started out with a house salad, cornbread, and some gator bites. The cornbread was so moist and fluffy! Absolutely delicious! The house salad was really fresh and had some interesting choices for dressings. I definitely want to come back to try the homemade ranch dressing. I did not try the gator bites but heard they were wonderful! My entrée was absolutely amazing. I ordered the chicken Ooh La La and it was so creamy and delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I think what I loved most about this place was the community feel. The bartender was really nice, and the chef was walking around asking each guest if they liked the food and was handing out beads! It definitely made it feel like a true Louisiana experience. I would definitely go back and I plan to bring guests! Also it does get very busy.. I went on a weekday and there was a 45 minute wait. But because of the good food, I see why! Also definitely try the dessert!!!

Yelp
I really struggled with this review, as based off of the other reviews and my friends love of Henry's, I wanted to go higher, but I also wanted to be honest...If I could go half stars, Henry's would come in at a solid 3.5. I finally made it to Henry's after a few attempts during visits with friends who recently moved to Acworth. They tried Henry's and are non-stop about their experience here, so naturally we had to make a reservation on my latest visit. We came by Henry's on a Thursday evening and per usual, the place was PACKED with every seat in the house, waiting area and bar full. Luckily we were sat just a few moments after our reservation time. Service was solid from entry to exit. Our server was friendly, helpful and polite. She did forget a few items and refills, but she was hustling, so no issues there. In addition to here, Henry himself came through the dining room towards the end of our meal. He was super friendly, welcoming and just an overall good fella! He was also impressive with his ability to toss multiple bead necklaces directly around your neck with no issue! I saw him hit at least 8 folks in a row! Food wise, I was a bit disappointed. Maybe I just got the wrong items? We started out with the Japanese BBQ Shrimp dish. The dish was served with 5 small shrimp and a mound of Asian slaw. The shrimp were fine, nothing special and the slaw was fine, however the sauce on both was quite salty, and I understand the base is soy, which is naturally salty, however it was a bit overwhelming. For dinner, I went with the Fried Shrimp Plate with Fries and Hushpuppies. The shrimp were plentiful and fried well, the fries were lightly dusted with seasoning and also fried and portioned well. The hushpuppies were sad, soft and honestly, not good. They had a wet feel to them, which I had never experienced before with hushpuppies, and they were also very small, more like hush-nuggets. The meal as a whole was just ok. Not great, and sadly not worth the $27 price tag. My friends went with the Chicken Ooh La La, and a Chicken and Shrimp Combo. The Ooh La La was tasty, covered in a silky cream sauce and loaded with chunks of chicken. The Chicken and Shrimp dish was decent, however the chicken was a bit overcooked. The feel and decor of Henry's is welcoming, friendly, local and of course, New Orleans. They have two levels, the main level featuring a small dining room in the same space with the bar, then a larger dining room around the corner. The upstairs is located to the right of the entry, and requires you to pop out to go up. We dined in the large dining room on the main floor and had no issues. Parking, as with all of downtown Acworth can be tricky, however the free lot behind the restaurants always comes in clutch! Overall, I can see the hype about Henry's and am sad that I did not experience in full, what makes this place so special to folks. I enjoyed my time there, and would love to come back and select a few other items. Upon that, I will update my review.

Yelp
Bottom Line: I would recommend this restaurant. Quick service and I enjoyed my food. I wish I could give them a 3.5, but I'll round up since I can't. Atmosphere: I've never been to Louisiana so I don't know what it's like there. If you've ever been to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.(I went to the one in downtown Denver, CO), very much the same vibe. Low-light ambience, tables reasonably spaced apart, Mardi Gras Beads hanging throughout the restaurant for the taking. It can be a but noisy between booths as there is little space between your bench and the bench of another table behind you. Food: The cornbread was very tasty. I believe it was complimentary (like bread and butter at an Outback Steakhouse). It was served chilled, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it were served warm. The $10.95 Citrus Chili Calamari was interesting. While it wasn't soggy, I expected it to be more crispy. That was a negative for me. The sauce was an unusual sauce, but I enjoyed it. I usually have calamari with some sort of marinara sauce, but this one almost reminded me of Vietnamese style fish sauce which I actually thought went very well with the dish. One small thing, I'd like to be served a thicker lemon wedge with the calamari in the future(almost a quarter). It makes it easier to add that extra citrusy taste without getting my fingers completely drenched in lemon juice. My side Caesar Salad wasn't the best I've had. Not the worst either, but it was nothing special. They could have added some more croutons (which weren't very well seasoned), and the greens didn't seem the most fresh. I got the $21.90 Louisiana Ooh La La which includes shrimp, oysters, and crawfish with XX Sriracha level spice. Any "extra spicy" ordered for that dish is now served as an add-on sauce in a side dish. They started doing this apparently because people kept ordering hotter than they could take and sending their dishes back to the kitchen which was accumulated in a more than ideal food waste. While I completely understand this logic, it did take away from my "relaxing" experience of not having to mix this into my meal myself on a small plate without making a mess. On that note, I thought the dish was smaller than what it was worth according the the menu price. I have a personal preference against the battered taste of the seafood in this dish, but I'm sure you could request the meat to be grilled without batter rather than fried. My last grievance with this dish was that it was more warm than hot when it arrived. Apart from all that, the sauce used in this dish is stellar. Great flavor. Service: There wasn't much to say about the service other than the my food not feeling "fresh off the stove". Out waitress was kind and brought us everything we requested in a reasonable time. Overall: I would recommend it. Do I think this restaurant is overhyped? Yes, but I do think it is somewhat above average which is still a good rating to me. I don't think my dish was worth more than $20, but the flavor was great and they have cheaper options for the same dish such as the $15.99 Chicken Ooh La La dish. If I return, I think I'd be happy with that dish. Service was good, and I also like how receptive the owner/management is on the reviews. It shows that they care about their customers' experiences.

Yelp
Heck yeah this place was awesome! I wish I lived closer! So many great food options to choose from, you definitely need multiple visits. Our sever Malcomb was great with suggestions and options, and his service was top notch in all areas. The restaurant entirely runs well on whole and it shows. The food was great! Everything that went past us to other tables looked amazing too. This place is rightly busy so a reservation is strongly suggested.

Yelp
I finally got the chance to dine at Henry's Louisiana Grill. What a truly wonderful and delicious experience. A group of us were celebrating a friend's birthday and decided Henry's would be the perfect place to celebrate. A great vibe establishment, filled with people smiling, laughing and enjoying some fantastic Cajun, Creole Cuisine for a fun time. Generous portions are an understatement. I did a half order and had to take half of the half home. Lol I couldn't even imagine what a full order would look like. The cocktails were fantastic. You have to try the La La Tini - Grey Goose, Chambord, with pineapple, orange and cranberry juice. And the Hurricane Henry with the Bacardi Gold and Select Dark rums was like you were on the beach sipping it under a coconut tree with the warm tropical breeze wafting over you. I ordered a cup of the spicy Étouffée with shrimp and enjoyed every last bite. The rich crawfish sauce was amazing. And for the main event, it was the Louisiana Shrimp Ooh La La. Oh my my. Shrimp, flash fried and tossed with tasso, spinach and roasted garlic in Henry's Cajun cream sauce. Featured on ABC Nightline. A very extensive and long list of awards and recognitions. ABC and The Food Network to name a few. Check out their web site to see more. Including a short video. You cannot leave without ordering the Bread Pudding. A delectable treat that will have yours taste buds screaming for more after every bite. It features French bread, warm custard, cinnamon, raisins and nutmeg served with warm caramel sauce. Trust me on this. And the highlight is when Henry himself comes out of the kitchen and checks on all his customers. Then throws beads around your neck. I watched and he never missed. I guess years of practice.

Yelp
Our company made a reservation for 20 people for our end-of-year lunch celebration for December 11th, 2024. When we arrived, we were informed that we would have to wait to be seated until all of our guests arrived, despite the limited standing room in the front. Thirteen of our guests had arrived between 11:30-11:45am, and four informed us while we were there that they would not be able to make it. The hostess that morning was extremely rude when we asked if our party of 13 could be seated while waiting for the remaining three guests. She insisted that we had confirmed a reservation for 20 guests. After standing for almost 30 minutes, she finally seated us at a table for 12, even though we were told there would be a table for 16 with an additional table for 4 next to it. The restaurant was extremely crowded. Our remaining three guests arrived before noon shortly after we were seated, and the other four sat at a smaller table nearby. Later, a friend who came to see our group but not stay for lunch was also treated rudely by the hostess, who reiterated that we had confirmed 20 guests and changed the number last minute. Despite explaining that four guests had canceled last minute, the hostess remained rude. We did not get her name, but our luncheon was on Wednesday, December 11 at 11:30, and we were seated closer to noon. The only positive aspects were the good service from our waitress, the delicious food, and the chef who came out to chat and toss beads to our guests. Unfortunately, due to the hostess's attitude, we will not plan another company event at Henry's, and our guests may not return personally. Thank you for taking the time to review our poor experience.

Yelp
Can get rather loud. Good food but they pack you in like Sardines. Love the food; hate the ambience! Going to Governor's Gun Club next time. At least they don't put sugar in Cornbread. My grandma is already rolling over in her grave!

Jamie K.

Yelp
I went to the restaurant and had dinner at the bar, and ordered the daily catch special and ate 1/3 of it before boxing up the rest. Two hours later I fell ill, and spent the night sick. I contacted the restaurant in the morning to report the incident and requested my money back for the meal. The manager took my name and phone number and called me back later on in the day, only to tell me that they wouldn't refund my money because it was an isolated incident. I won't be returning.

Yelp
The shrimp and grits is so good here! We were a large party and they gave us great service. When you first walk in it looks like a bar, but they have tables in another room to the right. When I am in Georgia again, I'll definitely swing by this spot.

Dawn M.

Yelp
We've been going to Henry's since it opened almost 20 years ago and I have to say that Henry is missed! We went a few nights ago and it definitely isn't the same. The gentleman passing out beads is nice, but a bit over the top. Everyone at the table ordered something different and none of us were happy with our meals. I had the shrimp and grits and it was hardly warm and the grits were goopy to say the least. Another had salmon over salad and the salmon was actually burnt in spots. The other meals weren't up to par and all hardly warm. Just not what we expected from a visit to Henry's.

Yelp
Excellent food and service - never disappointed! I would love if there were additional locations.

Yelp
Chef Henry dropped by to say hello! Sophie was an excellent server who was courteous, professional, and pleasant. We celebrated our 5 yr wedding anniversary and enjoyed salad, alligator as our appetizer, and my wife had shrimp and grits, while I enjoyed the crawfish étouffée! Delicious lunch in a great atmosphere! Highly recommend and we'll be back!.

Yelp
Shoutout to Savannah (hopefully I spelt your name right). Service was top notch, the way you were able to juggle a large party such as us (20) and other tables was more than impressive. Amazing, amazing, amazing job. Food was great, no complaints and the environment is nice, rustic, and comforting. Hopefully you get a raise Savannah!

Yelp
The hush puppy appetizer was out of this world as was Gracie's salmon!!!! The portions are huge and the atmosphere was wonderful. The service was excellent and the time to get our order was the quickest I have ever experienced. I highly recommend Henrey's Louisiana Grill!!!

Yelp
Omg so this was our first time at Henry's and certainly not our last! The food was GReAT! I had the steak with 2/sides. My son had the Po Boy shrimp sandwich he said WOW, worth every bite. We also had calamari and fried gator. My 8yr old had the gator and said it tastes just like chicken. Our Server Ashley was Great! Very helpful since it was our first time. The ambiance was very nice as well. Very family oriented! Great for date night or just a night out. Can't wait to go back with the husband.

Yelp
Great service! Amazing food. I had the shrimp and grits which were creamy and cheesy. A few whole shrimp included, too. Cesar salad was solid. Comfortable atmosphere. Relaxed and fun.

Yelp
1 Star We've been loyal patrons of Henry's Louisiana Grill for over a decade, but our recent visit under new ownership was beyond disappointing. We came to celebrate a birthday, but the experience was far from celebratory. After waiting an hour and 50 minutes to be seated, we were served cold appetizers. The main course arrived nearly an hour later & that was ONLY after our waitress noticed the oversight...she threw her hands up in shock that we hadn't received our entrees. Mind you she literally disappeared after the appetizer was served. Main course also cold! When we addressed the issue, both the general manager and the owner were shockingly dismissive, acting as though the delays and poor service were somehow our fault, because we 'didn't have a reservation'. Unbelievable. Their "oh well, there's nothing we can do" attitude left us feeling disrespected and undervalued. After spending over 3 1/2 hours at the restaurant, I came home and heated up day old pizza instead of enjoying the meal we had looked forward to. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. Henry's used to be a special place for us, but under its new management, it's lost what made it great.

Yelp
I only gave this place four stars to be nice. Henry's has always been a staple but the last time we went it was terrible. The service was awful, it's like she forgot about us, and I've seen her before so I know she's been there for a while. It took us 20 minutes to order our food because she disappeared. Our drinks were empty for a good 10 minutes. Our food came out lukewarm. I've had friends tell me they've recently had the same experience. I wish the owners the best of luck, this was a great restaurant and still has the potential to be. For us, we probably won't be back.

Yelp
New owners, flavors bland, and just not the same. $20 for bland chicken breast. Not to mention one of the people at our table was smacked in face with beads from behind.

Yelp
I drive 45 minutes to eat here and I'd do it again! From the hurricanes, to the corn bread, to the Cajun lobster special and catfish over jambalaya... all absolutely amazing!!! The only bummer is that I didn't save room for dessert. Please do yourself a favor and go eat here! I will be back for sureeee

Yelp
Quite possibly the best pasta dish I've ever had. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the chicken excellent, and the corn bread...OMG!!! I sat at the bar and Natalie was really cool, informative, and attentive. Chef Henry came around to see how things were and dude is definitely groovy...he looked like he walked out of Woodstock and was just cool. The restaurant itself is a national treasure from where it's located to the way it's decorated. Just a great experience overall. I highly recommend this to anyone coming near the area.

Yelp
Recently visited Henry's for a long overdue date night with hubby! We dined here on Friday 5/17! This time I tried something different: I went for the Bayou Cake and spicy cheese grits! This dish was phenomenal and I will be back for more! The next day it was even more delicious! Hubby enjoyed his seafood platter per usual! Everything on his plate was seasoned well and crispy! The coleslaw was good as well! Drinks were awesome and tasty plus our waiter Michael (I believe was his name) was very attentive and we will look for him next time we go! Thank you to Henry's for bringing a bit of Tha Boot to Acworth Georgia!

Yelp
From the welcome"hey y'all" to the goodbye beads, Henry's is a purple-and-gold shining jewel in the downtown Acworth dining scene. A silver lining to hurricane people-displacements, small-town Georgia scored a big-time win with Henry & Co moving their wares to Northwest Cobb Co. These many years later we continue to reap the benefits of party-time all the time, with a touch of Bayou hospitality. Take some time to party just inside the front door, but don't forget the real reason you're here: the food. Just early enough to miss the Valentine's cabal, our party of four was ready for some eatin' (interspersed with a little drankin'). There are plenty of draft choices, including some seasonal, with (of course) Abita featured. Also let me say it's refreshing not to pay more than a 12-pack for a drink. The ladies were busy ordering Proseccos with fruit and mojitos without fruit, etc, while we others hung out in the draft lane. Okay down to business. This menu overwhelms in a good way, and even the specials were tempting. There will be a day when we come and gorge on appetizers alone: jambalaya, LA BBQ shrimp, bayou cake (shrimp+crawfish) would do just fine. But imagine in your dreams you crossed the river to the beyond, which just so happens to be in the Delta, and they have every Cajun delicacy known to man (think "Baton Rouge wedding reception"). That's the appetizer selection. And, if you can't decide, pick the Sampler as an app or the main event. If you do manage to make it past the opening act, Shrimp Ooh La La like my wife ordered (with server-recommended pasta base) will be excellent. Or do like me and order shrimp & grits like your life depends on it. So much cream, so many grits (hopefully you've "actually seen a grit before"). As if you needed it, you'll get a salad with homemade vinaigrette, so people will think you're healthy pre-cream-fest. They serve their lunch portions all day, so if you want that for dinner, order the half-size, which will still be a feast. Speaking of lunch, I don't even have time to mention the salads, po-boys, skinny chicken/salmon, penne pasta.... No of course we couldn't fit in dessert, but if we needed to lie down for a nap right there, we'd go for bread pudding or cobbler. The service was excellent as usual, the atmosphere lively, and we'll look forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Bayou Cakes were pre cooked and reheated, not hot at all and outside coating had zero crisp. Cakes had somewhat of a taste of crawfish and/or shrimp but very little actual pieces. Side of cheese grits had the same vibe in being colder and reheated. Waitress double charged us for our order of Calimari and the bill was presented with the handheld device where they quickly prompt you for payment so I missed the double charge.

Yelp
I had not been to Henry's in several years so I was excited to get the opportunity today. The Ohh La La may be one of the best dishes Ive ever tasted. I got the smaller portion & its plenty. The bread & cornbread are exceptional. I love this place!

Yelp
Every time I travel to visit my father here in Georgia we always make the 45 minute trip out to Henry's. Phenomenal food, attentive service, and seeing Henry there from time to time is the cherry on top. He was there tonight! Legend. Absolutely I recommend this place you can't go wrong with anything you pick but the oooh la la and bread pudding must be tried.

Yelp
Fun casual joint with a Louisiana flair. Authentic Cajun with a year round Marti gras atmosphere! My favorite was the gumbo! My husband's favorite was the alligator bites!! Servers are friendly. Place is a bit loud inside but that's to be expected.
