I was here with a friend in the fall. I wanted my husband to try it. Finally, we were in Loveland last week. Online said there were no more reservations that evening, but I called, and people were leaving, so we got right in.
From the beginning, service was stellar. We were hungry. My husband had the Cuban sandwich. I had the pork schnitzel dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and the vegetable of the day, which was beets with sunflower seeds and feta. OMG! I could have just eaten a bowl of those beets, they were so good!
Everything was, though. The pork was tender, likely pounded to within an inch of its being. The breading was deliciously seasoned. We took food home, because there was so much.
THIS is a reason to go out. Yes, prices are higher than they were a year or more ago. And most restaurants don't seem to understand that consumers need a reason to spend - we need good service and excellent food. Henry's has it all. And it's obvious that the employees are happy. That's another sign of a good restaurant. Great food and service, reasonably priced. And it's packed, so the word is out! It's loud, but not so loud that you can't hear your companion.
We loved it - and we are going back this week for my husband's birthday! Yes, it's a drive, but it's worth it!
