Henry's Restaurant Bath

Definitely a fine dining place to try if you want something delicious. Each meal was curated for the season. They were balanced in flavour and the servers were educated on wine pairings for each dish. The place is small so booking is required but it had a beautiful atmosphere and the services was wonderful. It is pricy but you get what you pay for and you are paying for wonderful food in the centre of Bath.

We had the 7 course tasting menu, I had the farm & sea then my partner had the land option which we shared the lot. Thank God we did as it would have been an incredible shame to miss out on some of the dishes! Every single bite was truly incredible, so many levels of flavour and such perfect combinations, truly hats off to the chef. The wine pairing was such a highlight as well, some very unique wines that fitted perfectly with the dishes but were also devine on their own. The service completed the evening, it was so attentive but not at all in your face, they were both very knowledgeable on the dishes and the wines. They also added a really homely, welcoming vibe which was so refreshing. Far too many places doing this level of food have a element of snobbery which can be off putting but not these two, they made us feel so welcomed and created such a warm environ. Without a doubt would visit again and will be recommending to anyone and everyone!

Are you aware that your website inhibits anyone to cancel or make a booking? Also my husband popped down today knowing the place was closed to see if there was any signs of closure or activity and there were no signs of any refurbishment from the shop front. Having sent two emails from myself and my husband and multiple attempts to call with a flat dial tone and no option to leave a voicemail has meant the lack of communication and or ability to edit/cancel our booking has meant we have no confidence in having an enjoyable evening. Please refund the booking with immediate effect before the 24 hour deadline to cancel a booking my husband husband has also filed for a charge back from his bank due to the lack of confidence in obtaining our deposit via the standard channels (telephone, online and email) I’m not sure if this place exists anymore. My mother got me £100 voucher before Christmas for my birthday present we booked in advance and paid a booking fee of £50! We have tried calling but there’s no ring tone we have sent emails and online messages to the restaurant and when you go to cancel the booking there’s no way to cancel it?! We are trying to get our money back or a response as this was meant to be a birthday treat for myself. Now my mother is £100 out of pocket and my husband is down £50! Hi just saw your response and I have sent you an email. You don’t mention anywhere on your website or social media that you are closed for renovation. I was looking forward to choosing from the land / sea or farm (Veg). We went for a 5 course tasting menu and were very well looked after and it was a great balanced menu. Not rushed out but with some real quality plates of food. Some creative flavours and styles (crab first course was lovely and the venison was perfect but would of loved the next size up. Sauce was great. Wine was lovely and good choice and a nice environment (not too noisy) well worth a visit for a nice evening out.

We visited Henry's on the weekend and were blown away by the food! We opted for the 5 course farm & sea tasting menu which was stunning and worth every penny👌🏻Whether you are a foodie or not, the restaurant is such a gorgeous little spot for a date night or special occasion and if you want all the quality of a Michelin place but without any pretentiousness or overly formal vibes then Henry's nails it! The setting is intimate and relaxed, the staff were lovely, friendly and attentive but most importantly every course of the meal was incredible 😍🙌🏻 We loved it and would definitely visit again 💛⭐

Beautiful food with very considered service in a lovely atmosphere. We had the 5 course menu and there were some amazing flavours and textures. I could have eaten slightly larger portions while other members of our party were fine with theirs.

We went to Henry's to celebrate as part of a lovely weekend away. The food was absolutely incredible, atmosphere was intimate and overall a very enjoyable evening. We went with the Seven Course, farm and sea, but there is a land option for vegetarians. The lobster bisque was especially memorable and flavoursome, along with the lamb rump. Henry's is a must for a bistro like feel to the restaurant, with fresh, elegant dishes. The service was excellent. This place is definitely worth a visit.
