"This upscale beer-bar chain is a go-to for plenty of pre- and post-game revelry thanks to its location near Safeco Field and its ability to host huge groups, and now there’s another outpost in South Lake Union with a smaller footprint but more than 100 beers on tap." - Eater Staff

"Henry’s Tavern is the most notable closure — the bar and grill no longer exists in Washington, with two Seattle locations (South Lake Union, SoDo), and a Bellevue restaurant all closed down." - Tim Forster

Decent place. Great for after a game (football, soccer, or baseball) given that the stadiums are right next to this place. A couple of blocks at most and good food options compared to other spots. That said, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here if there is no game to go to. Food is typical bar food.

Henry’s is a great stop. It’s upscale (but not too fancy) bar food with a cool atmosphere that’s casual and comfortable, but far from a dive. Visiting in August, the patio was open and beautiful. Inside, there’s plenty of room to sit around the bar, in a lounge area or at traditional tables and booths. Food was great - definitely upgrade to the Gorgonzola fried and save room for a quick order of the orange ricotta donuts!

Some menu options. Are better than others. They have a large outdoor area and are good for groups as well. Overpriced for the quality of the food, but I guess that is what you get by the stadiums.

Best Western BBQ burger. Gorgonzola fries were nice but served in a tiny portion and maybe not worth the upcharge. Good beer selection but quite a few of the rotating taps were empty. Honestly their standard beer selection has better beer than the rotating taps, but I was disappointed they didn't have more varieties from the breweries that surround then locally. That is the most important takeaway, and you can stop reading if those are the things you care most about. However, before the eating began experience the entire adventure begins when I asked the host about the wait time. I was told a watching waiter, "80 minutes man," followed by the actual host saying, "it will actually be more like 40 minutes," to which the lead waitress scoffed at as she walked by, "I can seat you right now!" Great. At least we were seated quickly, but it is troubling that 2 of 3 workers had no idea what their seating protocol was. To give them a break, it was incredibly busy. However, the food and drink is the important part. My eating partner head a lettuce wrapped burger with a wedge side salad replacing fries. His drink was a Moscow mule that he said was stiff but really gingery. He liked both. I don't care that much for BBQ burgers, but I like Mac and cheese burgers less. The choice was between those two and a regular burger. I decided to take the dice and do the Western. The fried onions on this were what made this superior to previous Western burgers. They were lightly breaded and thick with onion so they were soft yet added crunch. Sauce was thick and not running everywhere. Bacon was able to but through without pulling out. Bun was soft yet held it's structure. Burger party was fine. All of it together made for an easy bite through with good crunchy onion flavor with the sweet smoky combination of bacon and sauce. The cheddar cheese added a little richness as well. While there was a little meat taste, that wasn't the star. Gorgonzola fries were reheated feeling, with a little Gorgonzola sauce and crumble. Wasn't real warm either. Flavor was fine. Would probably just order regular fries next time, but I didn't see what they looked like. Drinks are served in plastic cups... I enjoyed the food, atmosphere is that of a sports bar. Worth eating at if in the sodo district in search of a burger post game or concert.

Large drink menu, decent food menu. From burgers to Wok style dishes. Bar is in the back of the tavern. Yummy appetizers.

Had lunch here today and it was great! Ate the chicken club with a couple of Georgetown IPAs and it was delicious. Service and atmosphere was excellent. Right next to safeco.

They were better than I expected. I had the chicken club with fries. The bread was good and the chicken was perfectly cooked and everyone wanted a bite of my food. My guests had the Caesar salad and the fish and chips. They said the tartar was good. Everyone was happy with their meal. I don't know why we had to have reservations, the place was empty. The server is a little hard to get their attention. This place is pretty big. The margaritas are too salty.
