Very nice place offering many activities. I attended a line dance class, and it was lots of fun. They also offer rental space for events at very good prices. People working there are very helpful and pleasant.

Great place for the local immunity for seniors in Palm Aire

Lovely facilities w multiple rooms for gatherings. I would like to see an electronics upgrade. The movie was difficult to hear from the back. I think the larger of the meeting rooms (not the movie room) needs electronics (speakers, screen & wireless microphones) so we can bring meetings of condo boards and others into the 21st century.

What a great place for information, events and activities, everyone that works here is a 10 out of 10. Ron is so helpful with this community center. He went over and above for one of my clients. Thanks again.

Taking line dancing classes. They offer a variety of classes and bridge for those who want to enjoy our community.

I live in the are and I have 2 children. The activities in this center are only for elder people. The demographics has change but this center has not.

Offers a variety of programs for all ages. Also, very affordable and convenient.

Great fun this Saturday at Motown Retro Night 2020. Great music, etc Let's do this again soon.

They have a wide range of courses with excellent instructors. in particular I go for the duplicate Bridge lessons and my wife goes for tai chi.

I saw that they offered line-dance classes here, so I figured I'd give it a try. I went to the center, and it was staffed with a helpful and polite individual. They had a nice room for the line-dancing class and the teacher was very good. It was also very reasonable, $10 for a two-hours class (beginner and intermediate). It's pay as you go, which is great for people like me that find it hard to commit! The place had plenty of parking and was in a nice area. They had a brochure that listed other offerings. This is a great center for Pompano Beach residents. It is located in the Palm Aire community area.

Great classes and a lovely facility with ample parking. About the classes; Chris teaches a fabulous Line Dancing class on Tuesday. He is a wonderful instructor. Patient and knowledgeable with well honed sense of humor. Which is critical if you sometimes feel like you have two left feet! A great workout for body and brain with a fun group of participants. Claudia Scala teaches a Zumba class at the Center on Monday mornings at 10. I am not a morning person so it speaks to her charisma that I get myself on the dance floor at that hour! Knowledgeable, enthusiastic instructor who can get you out of your funk within 10 minutes!

Lining dancing classes at Skolnick Center have begun. It's an attractive facility with a large, well lit parking lot, great for evening classes. The auditorium is large; it can accommodate many dancers. Chris is an excellent teacher, very upbeat, patient, clear in his directions and willing to repeat a step pattern if you're having difficulty. He has a well thought out teaching program, provides email information pre-class re: which dances will be taught at the upcoming class, and is very pleasant and engaging. Come on out to get some great brain and body exercise!

My husband and I absolutely love the line dancing classes with our instructor Chris at the Skolnik Center in Palm Aire. We enjoy the music, learning the steps and meeting new people. What a fun way to spend a Tuesday (early) evening!

Everything! The staff was very helpfulI would recommend this place to others so they can get the full experience of how well an organization is ran by it staff. Excellent service! I would recommend this place to others !

This place is great to host events. It is very spacius, it has great audio and lighting. All of our guests are always impressed with the venue. We do host our events here every year and everything has gone according to plan. Craig is always very helpful and attentive. However, there's a grumpy guy working there who's name is Larry and was very rude to us. Hopefully, you won't encounter him!

Well, it was comfortable chairs. Very informative. Donna was awesome. She let us know that we don't have to raise our hands to leave for restrooms . They were clean. Very. . We were also told we would have a break and eat if wanted while she was speaking. She was very good. But it was redundant. Read the booklet then we would discuss it and then we see it on a video this went through the whole six hours. But only good for three years. I was told the facilities been there a while first I'm hearing about it it's really nice plenty of parking plus on Tuesday they have food food trucks that was a good find. Produce . Best of all the Soup Queen . All in all it was very informative.

3/05/21 On February 6, 2021, my wife and I were fortunate to have our first Pfizer vaccine at the Herb Skolnick Center, in Pompano Beach. Palm Aire United, Inc. was instrumental in getting shots there for Seniors. We arrived at the Center, late that morning, and were greeted with medical personnel, who handed us the forms, which we filled out. We then were ushered into a room, where the visiting nurses were sitting behind the tables. We each were asked a few questions, the shots were given, we received our vaccine cards, and we then were escorted to a large room, where chairs were set up for social distancing. We were to wait for 15 minutes, as Paramedics walked by asking if we were experiencing any adverse symptoms. We felt fine and we left after 15 minutes. On 2/27/21, we returned for our second shots. The procedure was the same, as the first vaccine we received on 2/06/21. This review is to thank the Herb Skolnick Center personnel, in addition to Palm Aire United, Inc. for a very successful vaccination program. Everyone was very courteous and worked together for the benefit of the residents, and the program could not have gone smoother. A big thank also goes to medical first responders, volunteers, military personnel, Pompano Beach FD, Association Leaders, and others. It makes us proud to be living in such a wonderful community, where people are helping each other. Thank you for a job very well done. You have our utmost respect. Be blessed!

I can only judge this on what I know of it. I attend a meeting here on Saturday mornings and I've been coming for probably close to a year now. The place is always clean. I like that. There is a woman behind the counter is always friendly and ready to answer any questions. This is a senior center and while I technically might be old enough to enjoy their services, I'm not. So I can't speak about any of their programs. I can only comment on my own experience. Oh, and ample parking is another good thing. They have lots of parking here!

Voted here this morning in the center. Very clean, organized, voting volunteers very pleasant. A pleasure this location was selected (of many) to conduct business
