Food and beer are amazing. The pizzas are different but delicious. Always a good selection of craft beer from the brewery and elsewhere

Stopped here on our way to Bethel Woods as a half way point. We got a flight to share and then ordered a full pour each. They have a wide selection of tasty beer. It was a gorgeous day so we sat on their patio area. They also have outside seating on the sidewalk and plenty of inside seating. They serve food as well. We got the buffalo chicken wing dip and duck fat fries. Both were delicious, the fries were so crispy. They have non beer drinks along with different pizzas. I was impressed with the amount of food variety they had. The servers were very friendly. Highly recommend stopping here and checking out the local shops on the Main Street.

Conveniently situated on Main Street, and offering both outdoor and semi-outdoor seating as well as quick and friendly staff, this place is great if you’re hungry enough - or just fancy a drink. Be aware that prices are steep, but serving sizes for food are big enough to satisfy most appetites. The selection of beers isn’t amazing but it does offer something for everyone, and the cocktails are strong-ish and tasty. The main issue we had was with the flavours and seasoning of the food - mainly the lack thereof. Fries were great but the mayonnaise was too much vinegar, the pizza was generally tasty but would’ve been so much better with more salt and seasoning. The Mexican street salad had enough of a spicy kick, but not enough other flavours. A bit of a shame, but overall still a positive experience.

Stopped in on a bustling Saturday night. The place was hopping, and a (great!) band was playing, but we lucked out and got a table immediately. Quite a few beers on tap, and they covered all the usual bases (stout, IPA, Saison, etc.) I had a stout, and it was really good. Other members of our party had the Saison and were very pleased. We all had pizza (you can get a full or half pie.) Getting half-pies let us sample a variety styles. I can tell you without hesitation that this was some of the best pizza I've ever had...not just in Honesdale or even in the Poconos...best anywhere! Not sure what the pie is baked in (brick oven, wood burning, etc.) but it was crispy and delicious, and the toppings were fresh. We also got an order of fries for the table, and they were excellent as well. Service was great. The only thing that detracted slightly from our experience is that the music was really loud. It's not a big space and the speakers were pretty powerful. As I noted, the band was very talented, and we enjoyed them. But talking amongst ourselves or to the waitress was challenging. All in all, this is a great place, and we look forward to our next visit.

Stopped on a Saturday afternoon. Immediately seated and drink order taken. Not a lot of beers, but the saison I had was fantastic. Mrs got a blueberry margarita which she loved. Menu selection isn't the biggest, but it's really just a small brewery to grab a bite and a drink. Had the pizza fries which the Mrs said was the best sauce, even better than mine but that's another discussion. Got the Lindy wings which were awesomely crisp and salty. The dipping ranch seemed homemade and was equally good. I though the Mrs was going to drink it at one point. Service was great and a nice place to chill for some pub grub.

I’ve only stopped in here are two occasions, on my way to a camp site in Equinunk. I love the beer styles they brew, especially the saisons. The interior is very welcoming and the decor is quite cool. Apparently they have a very historic houseplant hanging throughout the bar area. I wish I lived closer, I’d be a regular!

One of my all time favorite hangouts in downtown Honesdale. The space itself is fantastic, and historic. The food is always hot, delicious, and served quickly. The beer is always cold and the selections ensure there is something for everyone. The service is friendly and timely, and I simply can't say enough good things about the establishment as a whole. A must on every visit to NEPA.

Fantastic! This is the first word that comes to mind when I think back to when i came to grab a drink and food. We ordered pizza and wings. Both were great! But...of course my favorite was the wings!!!! The sauce on the wing was the perfect amount of sweet and spicy! So delicious my mouth is watering thinking about them! They also brew their own beer. I got to try their home brewed beer and WOW!!!! If you don't have the time to sit and grab a beer you can grab a can or more to go. Oh and the duck fat fries...MORE PLEASE! Came back on a Monday (limited menu) but I did get to try different items on their menu. The garlic knots were delish. The Mac and Cheese was great. You get to pick your own add ons! I had the squash, roasted red peppers and the garlic & fennel sausage.

Yelp
This is a hidden gem! I'm here for the food not the drinks though. This pizza was absolutely incredible. It's like the crisp you want from thin crust but fluffy dough you want from a pan pizza put into one. The herbs and hops they brush onto the crust are delicious and the crust has flakey bubbles. The toppings were amazing too! Some combos that are classics and others that are adventurous. We got The Dinner Party which had broccolini, prosciutto, ricotta cheese, and garlic oil that really impressed us. I wouldn't naturally gravitate towards those ingredients but they were perfectly balanced and complimented each other. We also got The Margatarian which was very original and again perfectly balanced. The service was good and the food was quick. It seemed like the place to go in town because it was a full house on a Wednesday night.

Yelp
We enjoyed our second visit here on a Friday . Nice atmosphere & good and attentive service. It was Valentine's Day and had fun chocolate touches in our food and drinks! The pizza has become our fav local pizza- so hard to find !! We plan on returning this weekend with others.

Yelp
No wine??? Wait, what? No wine??? Lol that sealed the deal for me. What restaurant has a lousy beer selection, poorly crafted cocktails and no wine? Yes, Here and Now. I ordered a beer, it was ok. Then I switched to a Pineapple Mojito which may have been the worst mojito I ever had. You know that big green bottle of lime juice your gramma has in the fridge? That's what it tasted like. The special said pineapple infused rum! Ha ha ha ha. I couldn't taste rum or pineapple. Lol The service is very efficient but anything but friendly. Think "Honesdale Woke". They're doing you a favor by serving you a few slices. The pizza is tasty but kind of odd. The dough is somewhat reminiscent of pillsbury crescent dough sprinkled with cornmeal and cooked in a wood fired onion. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. This place has potential to be good if they Buy some wine and lose the attitude. Also the menu is very very limited. Please do not bring those pesky little kids here. Lol. There are no chicken tenders.

Yelp
Here and Now, is a great place for brewery beers and delicious food. The atmosphere is always so comfortable. I love when they have liv.e music.

Yelp
Amazing place in small town makes it even more amazing. The food is fresh and locally sourced. The pizza that came out was great. Nice crust and flavor. The duck fat fries were very good. How can fries ever be bad? They can't. The menu rotates which is nice. They brew their own beers. Reviews are all over the place. A lot of one stars and five stars. Not much in the middle. I am not sure how that can be but I have to say it was a great experience and I would be back. Try it and give your own yelp review!

Yelp
The pizza here are heavenly good. The pizza dough was soooo good as I am eating the leftover now. The pizza sauce was yummy, the toppings were absolutely delicious and fresh from the farm. I can eat their pizza over and over every week. The cure all drink ingredients were mixed just right. The sugar cookies and the ice cream were wonderful finish to our meal. The service was friendly, warm and attentive. Loved the interior decoration. I can't wait to go back. BTW: what is the secret of the pizza dough?
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious pizza! The margaritarian, the chicken bbq and that pasta was flavorful. And the fries too

Yelp
We stopped in on a Saturday around 7pm before our 7:45pm dinner reservations at Native. We live a little over an hour away and have always wanted to try this brewery, but whenever we'd be in town, they were closed. They were very busy, but we were seated right away. We told the hostess and server we were just there to try some beer. Normally we'd sit at the bar, but the bar was full. The server was very nice and attentive. We each had a 16oz beer and one 3oz. We'll definitely be back to try the pizza and regular (not duck fat) fries. The pizza looked excellent and so did the fries. We really enjoyed our short time here. Super comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

Yelp
Best pizza ever and other food like duck fat fries can't be beat. They use local fresh foods to prepare a menu with choices that will please everyone. Problem is we want to order everything! Service is amazing. Beer is made fresh and changes seasonally. There is bar and table seating. Hours are limited, so be sure and check website or call ahead. If you like beer or creative delicious food, check it out , you ate sure to be amazed

Yelp
Friendly brew pub on Honesdale's Main Street. We have had the Vacation Meeting pizza at least once before and it was great. This time we had a large one for two, and the Romaine Salad. Salad was simple and tasty; Romaine and Parmesan salad with Croutons. The pizza was excellent tonight. Pesto, Carmelized Onions, Ricotta. There were about 7 beers on the blackboard. All brewed at Here And Now. Beer on tap today: Irish Red Ale and the Saison. Their Saisons are always excellent. Recommended.

Yelp
What a great place! Good beer and food and on Thursday evenings great jazz! The congenial staff clientele lust make it so much more. Recommended.

Yelp
Great food. Great people. Great music. Great experience. Just watch your consumption. Too much of a good thing is never a good way to leave satiated & satisfied. I haven't been there in a while, but I do hope to visit again one day and experience the joy of being in the moment, in the Here & Now.

Yelp
Pizza is the best in the area. Caesar salad is the best I've ever had. Cool vibe Service is ok

Yelp
Love this place !!! Not only because Allaina is my cousin but because the menu and bar offers fresh hip delicious options !!! I often think about whatever I had after I leave- it's memorable ! Often live music with a great atmosphere ! Check them out
google avatar

Kelly J.

Yelp
I tried getting in contact with this company to get prices for a private party. It took over a week to get a response and when I did get a reply they were very short. Alliana did not give options or prices, she immediately told me she "didn't think this would work out!" after giving her a ballpark range of 30-40 people. She shut me down quickly without offering any solutions or options. I found her business rather rude and off putting. Very disappointed in how she handled her response.

Yelp
Our FAVORITE restaurant! We love this place. FOOD: Amazing. Menu rotates as they get locally sourced ingredients. There's always about 8 pizza options, 10 small plates, and 5 entrees. My partner lives for the BBQ pizza which is always on the menu but with slight variations and creative names. Just look for the word "Pyrus". I love their pizza crust... it's unlike any other. They make more ~specialty~ pizzas than a standard pizza joint. The small plates menu almost always includes fries, wings, and a soft pretzel, with rotating salads, soups, and other fun things. I've never had a bad meal here so as locals we love trying new options every week. DRINKS: Great. They brew their own beer and while I'm not a big drinker, my partner loves it. He also enjoys their picklebacks. They make delicious cocktails as well. I've had their homemade cocktail syrups with club soda (no liquor) and even that is a treat! STAFF: Fantastic. They're all super chill with a hipster vibe, but with the kindness of a small local town. Very attentive to your needs but not at all overbearing. I suggest buying a round for the kitchen, just $5. AMBIANCE: I've never had to make reservations here (do they even take reservations?) but there's always a good crowd! I appreciate the custom artwork on the walls for each season. There's sometimes a TV at the bar; sometimes a local band playing; sometimes the front garage is open with outdoor seating; it's all good. You just gotta be in the Here & Now!

Yelp
It's actually really hard to give this place less than 5 stars but considering we weren't greeted with a hello for 5 minutes after sitting at the bar and I was served the wrong drink I gotta knock their ego down just a notch. However, this fooooooood.... out of this world. Their pizza dough is a cross between a pastry and pizza with a soft crispy buttery and perfectly seasoned crust. Quality toppings make this a mouth watering selection. Beet salad on point as well as the soft pretzel and taco with perfectly cooked meat. For a small town brewery ... this is an exceptional dining experience

Yelp
Have not been since pre-pandemic and it still does not disappoint. From other reviews it sounds like service can be hit or miss. Our waitress was warm and attentive. Wedge Caesar is a brilliant answer to the typical overdressed mess -- dressing can't get into the crevices of the wedge so much of the salad remains a fresh and crispy foil to the creamy dressing. Wonderful. You can order pizzas by the half so you can try more types. Very thin crust, just a tad sweet and pastry like but still closer to true neopolitan than pillsbury. The roasted balsamic tomatoes with ricotta and mint was quite nice. Dessert was incredible-- buttery fudgey brownie served warm over a generous salt caramel drizzle balanced by a scoop of very fresh tasting, locally sourced, vanilla ice cream set on a base of crunchy chocolate cookie crumbs. Homey but stunning. Beer selection is a fraction of what they used to have, but all good -- smooth, drinkable and interesting but nothing so bitter or over-citrusy as to be in your face. The entire front of the place is open to the air, so indoors has a bit of the outdoors. Honesdale doesn't lack for good eating (native, dyeberry and even the Wayne hotel all good) but this is a favorite.

Yelp
This place is incredible! Every little thing was on point: from the duck fat fries and wings (meaty and crispy...didn't even need to dip in sauce), to the ridiculous "The Oscar" pizza--sounds and looks like it was designed by a stoned college student (probably), but the execution was flawless. The fries (yes, fries on Za) remained crispy on a soggy pizza surface. I think the dough can stand up toe-to-toe with the best of them...good amount of chew, not super bready, just the right amount of saltiness--amazing. The one thing if you enjoy local craft brews...tends to lean on the hoppier side of things. They had a delicious pale ale but everything else was an IPA, stout or porter (fine by me! Not so much my guests) so, just a heads up. We sat close to the bar so we were taken care of by the bartender. It was a particular busy Sunday evening and yet, we were never neglected or left wondering if things were happening, so to speak. We traveled from Washington DC to do some hiking, and we left very happy with full bellies and some suds to soak in as mementos of this very awesome place. Happy we stayed just a few blocks away from this gem, and already looking forward to our next visit. Cheers!

Yelp
The duck fries are amazing, so was the brown butter popcorn !!!! I loved everything and the staff was lovely. Simply wish they were open everyday!!!

Yelp
Nice new brewery in Honesdale that is only open Thursday through Saturday. There is a decent size to the place, but the one evening I was there for dinner it filled up to capacity. Waitstaff was professional and helpful, but at times you had to wait a while to get their attention to order another drink. When you can order a 6/8oz drink (little bigger then a flight sized) it can be a lot even with multiple waitstaff. The food is centered on pizza but salad, soup, and sandwiches are available. We went nuts and got the Oscar pizza which included every other pizza topping on the menu on one pizza. It was interesting in a weird but delicious way. Beers are okay - depending on your taste for craft beer one can consider it average. Try the Maple Brown "Sap Tapper".

Yelp
The best spot in town. Great beer, great food, great ambiance, great people. Using a lot of locally sourced ingredients means the menu changes frequently to reflect in-season produce, so you'll want to stop by frequently so you don't miss out on something special! Great variety of beer made right on site! Craft cocktails using house infused spirits. House made non-alcoholic beverages available as well. Their kooky, whimsical decor really makes the dining experience truly unique. And the owners and staff are really wonderful people. Go eat here!

Yelp
If this is the only bar on Main Street that serves duck fat fries, it's worth a try. If it's the only place that puts braised kale on a pork loin sandwich, I'm tempted to keep walking. If the menu features pizza, but the server says the pizzas are unavailable, I'm maybe turning around and out the door. But it's new and home to a local brewery, so I gotta stay. So here's my report, for what it's worth. No judgment on pizza and no judgment on all the beers I didn't have. The duck fat fries were good. Ditto the onion rings. The pork sandwich on baguette was just okay once the kale was banished, but even with slaw was weirdly overpriced at $17. The crusher for me, though, was the cream ale. Flat and thin. Don't know how the bartender could pull it or the server could bring it to the table. The restaurant part of the brewery is new and I wish them a full and kaleless future. But check every pour.

Yelp
I went for Pizza once with a group and had beers a few times. The two Saisons they had were great. Both go well with duckfat popcorn Friendly bar staff know their craft. Pizza is VG. Thin & crispy if memory serves. I had a growler or two from these since the pandemic came in. Certainly will be back when or if this blows over. Salud !

Yelp
Love the people there and food and drinks always kind and welcome people I'll always go there when on vacation

Yelp
never so happy that a place opened after Covid. pest pizza beer and extra goodies. Duck fried potatoe chips, awesome salads. tryit you will go back again and again.

Yelp
We sat, we waited. And waited. Then they brought the menus and to be plain...the menu was not creative and not family friendly. I read the reviews before going and since we were in town for a couple of days, thought we'd give them a shot anyways. Seems like a lot of restaurants these days...great design (space looked great) but they're not professional restauranteurs meaning that they believe that atmosphere and hipness will be enough to stand alone. To be clear, that is false. Service and quality wins all day everyday. If you're reading this, maybe they'll figure it out in time. I'd bet against it.

Yelp
Top notch local paradise. One of the top places in NE PA IMO. Great beers that change quite a bit, fantastic food, especially the pizzas and duck fat fries. All local fresh ingredients and a wonderful staff. When we get back to "normal", great local band talent also playing weekly. Worth the trip from anywhere, believe me!SlabcastleSoft PretzelPyrusSaison

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing! It is definitely worth a stop, if you going through honesdale or are just around the area. The food was phenomenal and the beers on tap equally so! Highly recommend! The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I will definitely be back! Ps: Get the OG Fries! They'll change your life.

Yelp
I love Here & Now for the fun atmosphere, great drinks, and yummy food. My group shared the movie style popcorn, lindy fries, and the vacation meeting pizza. If you're a pesto pizza lover like I am, you have to try this one! We all left full, happy, and with leftovers! With lots of new menu items, it was totally vegetarian friendly!

Yelp
Couldn't get a simple cup of coffee and ended up paying $9 for a cup of Luke warm mulled cider. Bar staff made us feel like a nuisance.

Yelp
We were visiting for memorial day weekend, and decided to try this place out. It far exceeded our expectations. The cheese pizza was a bit odd to my taste, but my son are 3 pieces, so success! The beef tongue tacos were beloved by all. The Gnocci was perfectly cooked and delicious. We had two beers and a margarita, and all were excellent. The service was a bit spotty, but everyone was nice and other servers picked up the slack for our server. We received a plate that the dishwasher had been negligent on, but it was quickly replaced with apologies and we were brought a sampler of delicious desserts, courtesy of the house. The place was crowded, the decor and lighting was fun and hip, but also comfortably casual. We brought two small children, and they had a great time. The music was great. Overall, this place was perfect for what we wanted. Great food, a laid-back atmosphere in a hip spot, and lots of nice people.
google avatar

Tara L.

Yelp
Nice vibe inside, service was very good, enjoyed the music they were playing. Interesting menu options. Only had the duck fat fries (different taste but good; fresh and perfectly cooked) and Kelsey in the Woods pizza which was perfectly oven fired with delicious sausage, excellent crust, and great flavor. Only complaint; a little salty. Looking forward to going back and trying more.
google avatar

Yelp
Super awesome environment. Food and beer is awesome. You can't go wrong with a pizza. They infuse their own liquors as well making really good cocktails.

Loren M.

Yelp
The beer was good, but the pizza (Kelsey in the woods, to be exact) was the star. Not since Pizzaria Vetri in Philadelphia have I had such a light, yet crisp crust. It practically melts in your mouth. We are on vacation for the rest of the week and will be returning for another. Yes, there was one server. Yes, he was a little overwhelmed. Yes, he forgot to run our credit card. But, the pizza will bring us back. I wish there was more outdoor seating, like on the sidewalk.

Yelp
Spent the weekend with friends in Lake Ariel area and was thrilled to have been told by a coworker to check this place out. My friends and I also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who guided me in the direction of having an IPA flight of "Things I Think I Think", "7th Street Circus", "Secret Epicenter" and "Scutters". There was so many good things going on with each of them, it was hard to decide which one to settle on. Thank goodness my group wasn't in a hurry and had time to enjoy a few glasses. We were there just for drinks but knew as soon as we saw and smelled a lovely looking pizza go by, we'd be back for food at a later date. The atmosphere was delightful! As soon as we sat at our high top table a 3 person band started up and pleased everyone with their Soggy Bottom Boys vibe and sound. Everything combined above with great friends was just the place to be in the here and now.

Yelp
New kid on the block A brewery Honesdale needs Very delicious

Yelp
I'm a pizza snob, and this pizza made me smile! I can think of nothing I'd change, or even tweek. Unless it could be bigger! Well done!

Yelp
Great little brewery located in downtown Honesdale. Tried a bunch of samples but we REALLY liked their cream ale. Didn't try the food, maybe next time!

Yelp
Here & Now is our favorite local haunt in Honesdale, and we are seriously missing dine in service with them. The brews are delicious - Bat Patterns and Slab Castle are my two favs. Service team is always friendly and timely. The Oscar pizza and Duck Fat Fries are our favorites and must try's!

Cindy M.

Yelp
Food was very good. The service was the worst I've ever had. Waitress kept ignoring us & standing behind counter in back, didnt matter if she was pregnant or not. All other service kept passing us by as well. We sat right across from bar next to counter w waitresses & had to raise our hands to get anyone to help us w ordering cokes. They all kept lingering around counter w their heads down. Then after we asked for drinks, the drinks sat there for over 10 min. Asked over 4x even a cup of ice. Nothing. Also paid $8 for 1 coke, found out at end no free refills. Needless to say ate our meal w a dry mouth. Would never go there again...worst service

Jeana S.

Yelp
The food was fantastic, however my husband and I walked in the waitress asked us if we would like inside or outside dining, we chose outside, she said she told us the menu was online she would be right out to take our order, 45 minutes later I walk in, she looks at me puts her hands over her mouth and tells the other worker standing there omg I forgot about them, then comes to me and said the same thing to me not even an apology, Then when she comes out after we have started to eat and says "Omg u guys did more work on that then the oskers did! Really??? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Came here twice already with my brother and then family on a Saturday and they had great live music with nice busy atmosphere. Pizzas are great and the beers are phenomenal . I like the strong selections, barley wine brews from 2017 and 2018 were both enjoyable. Many many selections to choose from. Bartender la were attentive and friendly. Will be back.

Yelp
Beer was pretty decent. Their duck fat popcorn that they brought out was very good. Pumpkin margarita and pumpkin pizza were out of this world good. Would definitely come back and try other beers and foods

Yelp
This place is awesome. Been here multiple times. Nice laidback atmosphere and the beer is fantastic. This is my go-to if I want to have a conversation and enjoy a brew. Food is delicious, I've never been disappointed here.

Yelp
Went to venue to have dinner and listen to a band. Extremely limited menu, acoustics terrible, back room dining area unfinished. Waitress was great, food ordered was ok, drinks too small. Debating whether to give it another try....

Yelp
Came here after a hike and really enjoyed the pizza and beer here. Pizza crust is really good and they have a unique selection of toppings. Staff was friendly and the live music provided a nice setting. We would definitely come back.

Yelp
I went back just to accompany a friend. There's the sunglasses incident. I'm like, fine. They told me I was cut off for life at the bar. I got some water. I'm a local and went do say hi to some friends. They thought I was asking them to buy booze and later, after I left My buddies told me they were going to call the police and make sure I'm taken out in handcuffs. And when I was there they said they watched a video of me in the bar previously over and over to teach me a lesson. Not a place for tragically hip. Squares in flannel pants. Gestapo I
