We needed to pick-up something from Harbor Freight in Pleasant Hill and saw the taco truck in the parking lot. My Buddy and I decided to try a taco each just to see if the food was good. My Al Pastor taco was flavorful, tender and came with slightly grilled onions instead of raw onions and were really good. My friend's taco was tender but the lengua was mildly flavorful (grilled onions and cilantro added flavor). The tacos came with slices of cucumber, two slices of radish and a piece of lime.
We got our stuff from Harbor Freight and then ordered more food. I ordered an Al Pastor Taco and an Al Pastor Sope. My friend ordered a Lengua taco, Al Pastor taco and a Carne Asada taco. The tacos are $3.50 each and an oversized sope is $7.00 and very tasty. It had beans, a nice warm sauce, choice of meat, lettuce and grated cheese.
The price point is very reasonable, carne asada and Al pastor have good flavor and tender.
Hopefully the trailer is the there on a regular basis because we plan to go back and try some if the other meats and dishes.
Nice surprise to find good tacos.
