Heritage Hotel Maškovića Han

Such a beautiful and unusual hotel. We had a fabulous night’s stay here and the best nights sleep of our trip. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was outstanding and the waiter was a delight. Breakfast kept us so full we didn’t even need lunch! Off the beaten path but well worth the detour!

Only went to the restaurant and it was the highlight of our holiday. The location is enchanting, staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was out of this world! Not only was it so so good, but the portion sizes are very generous, so be careful not to order too much. Will definitely come back, and maybe even stay in the hotel.

We attended a friends wedding here and the restaurant and staff were incredible. So accommodating with all our requests and hospitality worth coming back for! Well done.

Certainly the worst 4* hotel I have ever been to. I have been to a better 3*. That being said the garden was very beautiful. Great for kids. Also the Blonde lady at the reception knew English and was very helpful. 1) The room was not clean (see photo). 2)The bathroom also was weird. Look at the placement of the toilet paper and shower. Have you ever seen toilet paper above shoulder level ? There's a 1st time for everything. Look at the placement of the shower. In the middle 😆. Everytime you turn there high chance to turn the shower to hot or cold. 3) We were denied beers 15 minutes before the closing of the restaurant in the hotel. We could just take them to the room but they didn't care. 4) The personnel spoke only very basic English. It was hard to communicate in full sentences. 5) We were never greeted in the morning during breakfast or in the evening when we were returning. Also breakfast employees took our plates without asking or saying anything. 6) Breakfast is served 8-10. We got there 9:20 and most things were empty and the staff was not refilling them. There was no bread for the love of god. The next day we found some bread but some of it was rock hard. 7) TV was probably 10+ years old 32". Who uses that in 2024 ? Also there was only one power socket by the beds 8) The location wasn't good. It's not fun driving in pitch black roads (no lights). We chose it because it was cheaper, quiet and had good reviews. I can't help but think the reviews are made up. 9)  There was a lot of humidity in the room. My skin felt sticky.

We had an amazing evening with a group of 7 people at the Han Heritage Restaurant. Sasha and Vlatko were wonderful hosts and the food and vine where truly spectacular. The atmosphere was lively but intimate and we couldn’t have asked for a better last night of our vacation!

A beautiful place, on the remains of a former mosque. 2-course dinner, appetizer and main course. The appetizer in their menu did not disappoint, in fact it delighted us. Incompatible lamb and prawns😊. Sheep sausage and prawns, with home-made bread (olive oil), chickpea and olive spread, with delicious Pošip. The main course after 10 minutes because we were already almost full with this appetizer. At first, when you see the plate, you think it's too small, it was more than enough for two. The main stars of the evening, sea bass and cuttlefish. Sea bass fillet with potato and leek cream, porcini mushroom demiglas, and orange was a rhapsody of flavors. The sea bass fillet was beautifully baked, the skin was crispy. Cuttlefish with potato cream and peas in mint and lemon sauce. A refreshing combination with enough lemon to elevate the dish to another level. And finally, baklava with pistachio, sweet, not too sweet, flavors of the East that rounded off the whole dinner( one slice in 2 plates).Extremely pleasant staff, hospitality at the level, along with the whole atmosphere of Han.. For every recommendation, definitely, don't miss this experience❤️ Price: 100 euros (appetizer, 2 main courses, dessert, brandy, 4 rounds of wine by the glass, liter of mineral water)

The food is overpriced for its quality. The only good item was the baklava. The worst was definitely the sea bass, which was a staff recommendation. Besides being over-salted, the sides it was served with (mushroom sauce, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes) did not complement the fish at all. Even though we returned the sea bass, we were still charged for it…

The food was amazing we just stopped for lunch there !! Amazing coffee amazinggggg baklava - pair it with vanilla ice cream and thank me later service by everyone was amazing there loved it❤️❤️❤️
