The Best Restaurants in the Eastside of King County | Eater Seattle

"Nestled between tasting rooms in south Woodinville, Heritage is a seasonal, modern American food destination and a haven for wine-lovers. This jovial spot is led by chef Breanna Beike and can be enjoyed for the spot-on technique in dishes like Dungeness crab hush puppies that verge on croquetas and lithe and chewy house egg noodles — as well as creative dishes like bitter and texturally rich little gem salad and buttery seared black cod with Israeli couscous. The wine list highlights the particularities of Washington producers while also making room for European standard-bearers. Heritage is open for on-site and takeout dining." - Brett Bankson

Heritage in Woodinville is a gem. The food and drinks were both outstanding. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Great atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend.

Google
Cocktails were tasty, food was pretty good but we felt like it was on the expensive side for what you get. Service was great and inside was nice and it looked like their outside patio was popular as well.

I came in just after lunchtime on a Friday afternoon. The happy hour menu is wonderful. I had the Heritage burger with French fries. The saffron aioli is great with the fries. The burger was dressed in a way that was delicious without having to add anything. The first bite is a flavor explosion of awesomeness. The menu items were all reasonably priced. One of the gems of Woodinville for sure.

Catching up with friends over Brunch at Heritage. Pastries from Tart next door was lovely. We ordered Farmers plate, Huevos Rancheros, and a Benedict. Everything was cooked well. Wait staff was prompt and friendly. It's a very family friendly place for a weekend brunch.

I had the cheese burger with egg & bacon 🥓. We order the oysters, which were amazing. As an appetizer we also ordered the crabcake balls. A little too much filler. Other than that, everything was awesome! Definitely would head back. Son got steak, cooked perfectly.

This is my go-to restaurant in Woodinville with friends or solo. The bakery next door is as wonderful as the restaurant. Food is always made with quality ingredients and a well balanced flavors in reasonable pricing. I was especially surprised by their selection of old loose tea leaves. It was smooth and fragrant. As a tea drinker, I appreciate the care and thoughts behind the menu. Thank you. A side note about their afternoon tea set, I would love to try it but the menu is just huge with the amount of food. I would frequent for this service if a more manageable portion is available. Support local business Support women’s businesses Cheers!

Stopped by for a happy hour on sunday. They have 2 tables and a bar top which they serve happy hour at. It was relatively quite except the 2 tables. From my order: Hush puppies are amazing, very delicious and satisfying. I rarely enjoy sauces/condiments but this one came with a great fluffy cream which was a great combination. Nice oysters although although the happy hour price is not particularly a great deal and they were sold out for second order. Tasty seasonal cocktail (some lemon drop variant). Their music was a weird shuffle of styles but I forgive them as overall very satisfied with food and drink.

Google
One of the best restaurants I've been to in Washington. The wedge salad was insanely refreshing. Whatever they do to the bacon on the salad is amazing. I haven't stopped thinking about the crab hushpuppies. They are perfectly crispy ...and the whipped lemon dill butter is out of this world. The peach flatbread was a bit dry, but full of flavor. The steak was probably my least favorite thing. The veggie medley was not the best, and the flavor of the steak reminded me of chicken drumsticks glazed with BBQ. . nostalgic, but not in the best way. The steak was cooked well though! Overall, very excited to try more dishes.

Yelp
Amazing food, beverages and staff! What more could you ask for? Chef Bre and her team have created something really special. The menu is top notch deliciousness! Five Stars all day, everyday

Yelp
Been here handful of times and every time it gets better! This time was a birthday celebration where they comped our dessert, chocolate panna cotta. Drinks were delicious, and I loved my spring farro dish. The oysters were a solid share plate and not as common in this immediate area. The service was friendly and efficient but on a Saturday night, was shocked to see they empty out early. Was surprised to be the last table standing at 9pm. We could have kept going (and we certainly weren't going crazy) but needed to leave, bummer. Parking can be tough in this lot, small spaces in a shared strip of wineries. It's doable but if you care about your car, you might want to ride share.

Yelp
Went for an impromptu dinner on Friday night around 6. No wait. Got a smoked salmon dip, mussel frites, and grilled cauliflower steak. It was all tasty and cooked well. Service was great and the ambiance was nice where there were people who dressed up and those who were casual. This is definitely a pricier spot as dinner for two came out to about $100 including tip but it's a nice treat. Parking in the lot is awful. Expect to have to park in a nearby lot and pay for parking because of the limited lot size for the restaurant.

Yelp
This was my last dinner in my trip and I'm glad I ate here. Interior is modern and dinner vibes are energetic and lively, it's loud in here. There's a main dining area and a bar area off to the side. Service is good and friendly. Food is good. I got the mushroom soup and it hit the spot on a chilly night. Veggies in my dish were cooked well and the sauce for the entree was great. Actually seasoning the entree itself instead of just relying on the sauce would've made this even better. Overall, great dinner option for a fun night out.

Yelp
Delicious food! Burger always amazing. Mussels and fries delicious! Salad was over dressed but nice flavors. Service attentive.

Yelp
Came here for a quick, happy hour on a sunny day and had one of the best wedge salads I've had in a long time. The lettuce was super crisp, the salad dressing didn't make everything soggy and the toppings were very nice. I added some grilled chicken on the side but did not realize it turned a $14 wedge salad into a $23 one. Had I known I would have skipped the chicken as it was a good portion, but dry. There are some good deals on food and drinks during happy hour (burger + beer for $20!) but the full menu looks equally delicious. Parking is snug but do-able midday but would be tricky in the evening. I believe 2 hours are validated at the front desk when you give your license plate.

Yelp
Came here for a date night but definitely more of a family restaurant. Portion sizes were good and our food was good too. Crab hushpuppies tasted more like pancake and weren't super strong on the crab flavor. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Loved both mocktails on the menu!

Yelp
Been here before and liked it but revisited and it felt like the food was not as good. In particular the clams. It was really sour, felt like the wine wasn't cooked off enough and it was really bitter and there was so much of the broth. Husband loved the burger though so we can come back another time and I'll try other things. Looks like they have specials and such so a good way to rotate.

Yelp
UPDATING MY REVIEW A BIT Thanks Breanna B for dialing in the date and for the quick response. Yes - it was over Valentines weekend, and thanks for the clarification that the steak was a Ny Strip. It was indeed, now that I recall fully. However I will hold that it was still a tough piece of meat, still pretty flavorless, and unfortunately, looking back at my receipts, still not a great value. But I appreciate the fact that your team has already responded here as that continues to show the commitment to service and that alone is worth another star! ORIGINAL Joined friends here for dinner a few weeks back and had a genuinely lovely evening. I haven't been there in ages, and can say that the updated interior and staff service was outstanding. We had reservations for a two couples, got seated quickly, and had great attentive service throughout the night. Our apps and cocktails were stellar. Although following a bit of wine tasting, I will fully own that if they were less than stellar, it might have been lost on us, as we were so fully engaged in conversation, and the service was impeccable, we didn't at all notice! Our salads were strong as well, although I would say there was a little more dressing than salad. This was especially true of my wedge. When I order a wedge salad, I expect a wedge of iceberg lettuce, and toppings, not a few leafs of iceberg lettuce with enough toppings to bury an entire wedge. While it was tasty, it seemed a bit light on the actual lettuce for my taste. Disappointingly, my wife's lobster bisque, was quite tiny in terms of volume / portion size. This theme continued with her meal, as she ordered scallops and got four tiny scallops as her main course. While both were tasty, they both seemed quite overpriced / undersized in terms of value. While our guests enjoyed their entrees, my medium rare steak frites was a true miss. Normally you would expect a ribeye to be full of flavor, well marbled, and easy to cut. Instead what I got was a much tougher cut of meet, much more of a NY strip in ribeye clothing, with a healthy amount of fat, and minus all of the delicious flavor I would normally expect from a ribeye. While the accompanying fries and aioli made for a good meal, it really didn't due justice to what it could have been. Thankfully, the portion was healthy, and I was able to share the rest of the meal with my wife, who was still hungry from her small portions, and she eagerly wolfed down the remaining steak and fries, making for a good end to the meal. Overall I felt that the service and ambiance more than made up for the shortcoming in the meals itself, but I honestly don't know that I would put this high on my list of spots to revisit again soon. I think there ay be better spots with a bit more attention to detail in this price range in the region.

Yelp
AbsoLUTELY wonderful quaint little spot! A+++ for sure!!! Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the ambiance is excellent for either a date night or a family dinner. I loved the upscale, modern rustic and open airy feel. The real flowers on the table were a wonderful touch and shows how much the owner cares about the customer experience. Visited here with my entire family, who don't normally care to eat out, but I love trying new places and I was visiting home so they all decided to come along. I found this place on, where else but here?! :P Went to the website for the menu and the pictures really hit that nail into the coffin for my mom to say ooohhhhh yes let's go here! Beautiful and upscale pictures of the food on the website, which really gave us a visual of what to expect! We drove out from Bellevue on a Saturday to get seated right when they opened at 4:30pm. Perfect timing because people quickly trickled in. We were there for about an hour and a half so got to beat traffic there and back! We started with the crab hush puppies, DELISH! Nice and fluffy! We also started with the wild prawns, super fresh!!! I had the sea scallops, grandma had the bacon & gouda mac n' cheese, dad has the burger, brother had the prawn gnocchi, mom had a pasta... I can't remember what she got and I don't see it on the online menu but I know she got a pasta. Every single one of us loved our meals. Dad is the pickiest and usually finds something he doesn't love about his meals when we go out but ... NOT THIS TIME!!! He actually said that was the best burger he has had in a longgggggg time! I really love that the presentation of the food was just as beautiful as the online pictures. I meant to a T! Gorgeous and very appealing! We finished by sharing the home made chocolate ice cream, the tiramisu and the key lime pie in a jar. Ohhhh myyy gawwwwwwwwsh! SO glad we did! The key lime pie actually had fluffy and creamy singed merengue on top, not whip cream like some places try to get away with. I was also very pleased with the generous portion sizes. That being said, for the quality and portion sizes the prices are fair!!! Spend a good couple hundred bucks here and very glad to do so and will be back!!! If you haven't patroned here yet, put it on your list of must tries!!!

Yelp
My friend and I were here for a weekend brunch. I wasn't too hungry so I kept it light with the daily soup - it tasted like minestrone with no pasta but a whole lot of vegetables. I got the bigger size (medium large bowl) for around $8 or 9. The soup was pretty good and I was happy with it. I also bought some pastries and a latte from the bakery next door, which is run by the same business. Pastries were not remarkable, they were quite average. The restaurant was bustling with the brunch crowd. Waiters seemed busy but were quite attentive and worked hard to answer all my questions.

Yelp
Came for weekend brunch with some friends and we were so excited about the menu. Completely disappointed at the food. We got the hushpuppies, a salad and an eggs benny. It was very bland to say the least, except the hushpuppies everything else did not taste good. Ambiance seemed great though. However would not come again here for the food!

Yelp
Heritage has the kind of menus I appreciate around here: seasonal and local. There's almost nothing on the menu I wouldn't like to try, especially with its emphasis on seafood. Our most recent visit was mostly very pleasant. The food and service were beyond reproach. The space is pretty noisy, with the main dining room being basically a box, with no carpet and little else to absorb noise. Normally this is fine, I can still hear everything I need to. However, there was live music that night. It absolutely did not need to be amplified, because I could not even hear my waiter, and it was additionally not to my taste at all. Aside from this annoying distraction, my husband's birthday dinner was lovely. I also appreciate that the place is not overheated as so many are in the winter.

Yelp
We went in on a weekend for brunch. The ambiance was inviting, making it feel as cozy and comfortable as dining in your own home. We were very excited for the Dungeness crab hushpuppies, and it did not disappoint with its combination of Dungeness crab and sweet corn fritters. Farmer's Breakfast, the daily special, was huge, featuring scrambled eggs with lots of fresh ingredients, sausages, perfectly seasoned and cooked fingerling potatoes, and toast. French Toast. OK...we really need to talk about this in more depth because it was one of the best I've ever had. At first, I wondered where my maple syrup was, but once I took a bite, I realized it had been absorbed into the French toast, creating a perfectly balanced sweetness. The almonds were toasted, y'all! And the strawberries were cut to fit perfectly into each piece of French toast. I was super impressed with the attention to detail. Key Lime Pie in a Jar. This dessert features a classic key lime curd, offering a tart and creamy citrus flavor, perfectly balanced by the sweetness and texture of a graham cracker crumble. It's topped with beautifully toasted marshmallow-like meringue and fresh berries.

Yelp
Another 5 star meal and service! Again, this is our favorite local restaurant and has been for several years now. Always consistent, fresh local ingredients and delightfully delicious food.

Yelp
Perfect location for dinner prior to a concert at Chateau Michelle. The restaurant is in a strip mall area with other restaurants, plenty of adequate seating. The service was phenomenal from the start, our waiter was on top of refills, and our empty plates were cleared quickly. The food was delicious- with one issue- I'll get to that. But first, the crab hush puppies were to die for. Sweet, savory, and the dill cream fraiche was spot on. My husband ordered the special, which was fried ling cod and chips. My husband orders fish and chips everywhere we go- it's his ultimate favorite food- so he is beyond picky. He literally said "this is the best plate of fish and chips I've ever had". It was sooooo good- we shared. I ordered the strip steak and this is where the food fell flat- just not seasoned, bland, not charred. The crispy Parmesan potatoes were boiled potatoes- zero crisp- the plate was just horrible. We didn't tell the server this. I still gave 5 stars because everything else was phenomenal. We topped off our dinner with donuts with espresso cream- melted in our mouths. Overall- fantastic restaurant- crazy good menu.

Yelp
One of the things I miss most about living on the Eastside is the lovely Heritage. I first discovered them when a friend brought me here for brunch nearly four years ago, and since then I've enjoyed them for everything from a drink to lunch to dinner. The food here is always fresh and the portion sizes are ample. Their wine list is one of the best in Woodinville, and their cocktails are on point too. I also loved their bloody mary when I had brunch here on my bday this year. What truly sets Heritage apart is the fantastic, friendly service. The staff are always friendly, and super knowledgeable about the menu and daily specials. I highly recommend making a reservation before visiting. And be sure to check out their lovely outdoor patio during the warmer months.

Yelp
Great service and food, owner is very friendly and totally respectful to her clients , the server was very personable and friendly.

Yelp
Ate at Heritage yesterday evening, April 19, 2025. We sat at one of the tables in the bar area. We have been to Heritage several times but not for a little while and decided to give it another try. Notice there are a few new things on the menu and the specials looked amazing. The bartender was taking care of us and took a little while to come and greet us and get a drink order. Understand that the bartender is busy so not a big deal. I asked her if she was able to make a piña colada and her answer was "no". Might have been an opportunity to suggest another drink or get creative? We ordered the artichoke and spinach dip as an appetizer. It was a nice portion of dip with five thin slices of baguette. We did order extra bread, which was a two dollar charge. The dip was good but not really hot all the way through. I ordered the lamb special for $41 and the 4 small chops of lamb were overcooked. It's a nice atmosphere and on other occasions service has been really good.

Yelp
This was my favorite dining experience on the Eastside and Woodinville area. So much so... that I *really* wanted to return the next day. First off, it's a woman-owned (holler!) and family-owned and operated restaurant featuring fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. It was so difficult choosing from the menu, because on this particular fall 2023 day, I wanted it all. We started with half a dozen hama hama oysters and sparkling rose (clink!); and for my entree, it's was a special that night - and I'm bummed that I don't recall what kind of fish it was (see pic) ...but it was spectacular. It was a dish that I was hoping would never end. It was topped over zucchini, cherry tomatoes, couscous, kale... They have a full bar (including a separate bar area), a fantastic wine and cocktail selection, and a knowledgeable staff that'll have the perfect rec' for ya! Five stars all the way and can't wait to return and try their popular brunch (fingers crossed).

Yelp
Had a great time on our date at Heritage this afternoon. We had the Wedge Salad, meat and fruits plate, the Beef Dip sandwich and Burger. SPOILER ALERT the fries, burger meats and WEDGE were wonderful. We also had drinks which were nothing spectacular but definitely would order a drink again if we were to come back. All in all it was a solid choice for a day date with my wife. If you do come make sure at least to try the wedge salad & thank me later.

Yelp
By the time my husband and I finished our meal on Saturday night, we had already decided we have to come back to try brunch, to bring guests from out of town, and to celebrate more special occasions. Heritage Restaurant is an absolute gem, and we have no idea how we hadn't discovered it sooner. We had a reservation for 6pm, and we were so glad we did as we watched the tables around us quickly fill up. We were seated in this room right across from the bar with 4 tables; it looked like this room could be used for a private event, as it had a projector screen, and if I'm not mistaken, a sliding door. Even with the door open, it felt more intimate in here than if we had been seated in the main areas. We loved our server, Mike, right off the bat. He came by to introduce himself, was welcoming and unassuming, and made us feel at home. We started with the beet and arugula salad, with the blue cheese and toasted hazelnuts on the side. Visually, the serving looked small but it was enough for the two of us as a starter. For the mains, my husband had the Heritage burger while I opted for one of the specials, the braised short rib with black truffle risotto, Delicata squash, and wild mushrooms. My husband boldly claimed this to possibly be one of the best burgers he's ever had (and he's had a lot of burgers) and after two bites, I could see why. The beef patty was so incredibly melt-in-your mouth juicy and well seasoned. The fries were thick and hand-cut and came with a saffron aioli- the lemon juice in the aioli was a bit overpowering, but we still scraped the cup clean. I loved the risotto and how the juices from the short rib cut through the richness, but in spite of this, I found the short rib itself to be a tad dryer than I expected. The risotto was really the star for me, and the squash and wild mushrooms added texture and depth. For dessert, we shared the Pie in a Jar, which was a key lime pie. We loved the fluffy toasted marshmallow topping, but found the key lime filling to be a bit too tart for our liking. The graham cracker crumb at the bottom was also too salty for us. Though dessert was not the highlight of our meal, we will certainly be back for the "upscale casual" dining experience, the delicious main dishes, and excellent service. For as busy as it was, we didn't feel like we had to rush at all and got to share a lot of conversation in between courses. Thanks to the team at Heritage for a great evening!

Yelp
Lovely place to spend a rainy lunch afternoon. This place is amazing and has great food options. We were taken by surprise! Recommendation: as appetizers pick the Dungeness Crab Hushpuppies! And their special card always has great options! Service was super friendly and very helpful! Loved the team and the atmosphere! We will come back :)

Yelp
After a day of wine tastings we needed some good food to fill up on. The potato soup was a worthy start. Not chunky, this is a great example of how to do this soup well. I got the namesake burger. It was gorgeous. Really well prepared and museum quality showing. I'll confess the fries were even better but it's a great choice regardless Our server was friendly and good came out promptly. A great find in his part of town.

Yelp
Chef Bri has this dialed in. Celebrated a 60th birthday over brunch. Amazing! The clams to start and all got their own entree.

Renny K.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the ambiance and the employees were so kind in accommodating us. Super children friendly - they brought out a coloring page for my daughter. We got their specials that day - I got their shrimp pasta. It was creamy and so flavorful at a very reasonable price. My husband got their salmon egg Benedict but that one was just okay- no surprise on the flavor and what not. At the end of our meal, we got their set tarte pastries and had some coffee along with it. It was such a special day and special meal. I've seen great reviews about their brunch - so I definitely will come one of these days to try it out. The only downside is parking.... it was quite horrendous. I waited for 15 minutes to finally get a spot.

Yelp
We came here for a late dinner and we were happily greeted and offered a table. Heritage is a cute little bistro. I ordered a glass of wine and the mushroom risotto. I ordered a Cabernet franc off the menu, and I'm not entirely convinced it wasn't corked. It was so bad, I couldn't drink it. I didn't complain or return it, just didn't drink it. The mushroom risotto itself was great. I loved the meal. I'd return for that. I only removed a star due to the bad wine.

Yelp
Great spot for a lunch bite or brunch. We went late but during the busy times you may need to wait. The wine selection is great, they have fresh coffee and you can also get some cocktails. Service is fast and friendly and the vibe is relaxed.

Yelp
Met here with a friend for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Interior has clean lines and is decorated tastefully. Friend had the Philly sandwich and I had the Reuben, and both were just okay - neither of us can explain exactly why. We were celebrating a birthday and shared a dish of the salted caramel ice cream. The first taste was powerful. The second taste was, too. By the third, it was a bit overwhelming. We left most of it on the table. Our server would disappear for lengthy amounts of time; my friend wanted extra dressing for her side salad, and by the time they returned from the back area of the restaurant, she was mostly done with the salad. Be aware that the parking lot is 99% full all the time. My friend had a park in another lot as she could not find a spot. I maytry it again in the future.

Yelp
I had a lovely time here! As a gluten free pescatarian, I felt like there were a lot of options for me and my waiter was very helpful in helping me with substitutions. I ended up getting the Brussels sprout Brie omelette with a salad and gluten free bun and it was amazing! Fresh ingredients, amazing flavor, so good! It also came out in under 10 min from us ordering, even on a busy day, which was really nice. Great vibe, amazing food, terrible parking lot. Still worth it in my opinion!

Yelp
After hitting some of the local wineries it was time to get some food. We chose Heritage as it was convenient to our prior stop, and it was recommended by a friend. Definitely glad we tried here. I can say early I'd forward this recommendation to you, reader. Started with the Crab Hushpuppies. Described as "Dungeness crabs & sweet corn fritters, lemon-dill crème fraîche. Don't know about the last ingredient, but I know these were really-really good. I was a little "wined out" by this point so it was cocktail time. I went with the Woodinville Barbie - Tito's , prickly pear syrup, lime. Another hit. Sweet and strong, just how I like it. The main event was the Pork Shank. I feel bad for you if you don't eat pork because this was such a delicious cut. Everything was excellent and it came with roasted Brussels, polenta, with a nice gravy. It was seasoned so well I was beyond impressed. It was a special, so I am very glad I went for it. If they make that part of their permanent menu, that would make it THE entree to get in my opinion. Definitely recommend. It was a packed Saturday night here, with a reservation we had to wait about 5 minutes, but we were accommodated well, and the server and hostesses were very nice. Would recommend coming in if you're in the area and would love to come back after hitting wineries in the area again.

Yelp
Late night meal with a friend, sat at the bar. Delicious drinks, and tasty (and PRETTY) pappardelle with curly kale, fennel and sun-dried tomato oil. Friendly and fast service. Indoor and outdoor seating, nice atmosphere. Parking was a bit tight, but it was Saturday night. Close to the wineries and concert venues.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Dungeness fritters were great and the lamb special was amazing! Outstanding service. Will be back for more.

Yelp
Food quality is exceptional. Menu selection is great with variety of options from lunch specials to full servings. We both had their lunch specials; pastrami sandwich which was on a delicious bread, side salad was fresh & dressing light. Love the pickles with the sandwich. Pastrami sandwich was filled with meat, soup was hearty & salad also fresh. Service was friendly and can guide you thru the menu. Ambience is lovely for an afternoon meal. They have an excellent bar with alcohol selection. We will have to be back another time to enjoy the bar. Plenty of parking spaces and few other shops surrounding the area for leisurely walk afterwards. Hope you get a chance to taste fine cuisine at the Heritage restaurant. Bon appetite!

Yelp
I've never been dissatisfied with a restaurant, but there's a first time for everything. The water cups smelled like sour milk. My wine had a fly floating in it. When I requested a new glass of wine, the waitress was understanding--a little too understanding. With a smile on her face she yells "dang it... well at least he died a happy death," and then goes about her merry way. Where's the shock? Apology maybe? Anyway we waited for a second glass which had ANOTHER FLY; this time it was smeared on the inner wall of the glass. Also the second glass was incredibly dusty, as is the entire dining area. My jaw literally dropped. Good place to go if you need extra protein in your diet!

Yelp
Outdoor seating, and great food and service ... Walking distance to multiple wineries ... We'll be back! Plenty of healthy beef/pork/seafood options on the menu, including a decent oyster selection.

Yelp
Heritage Restaurant and Bar is strategically situated in the middle of the wine country of Woodinville. The food is "New" American, elevated, along with the prices. I knew it going in, so not a surprise. We made a reservation, and they were able to squeeze us in sooner at an outside table for two, right by the door. What looked like a mediocre table turned out to be the best table. The inside is INCREDIBLY LOUD. Multiple group gatherings, sports bar with TV blasting, diners are yelling at each other. The restaurant needs to incorporate some sound damping tech indoors. On the outside, it was comparatively peaceful (except for a trio of ladies who gathered to complain about everything in their lives; I know far too much about them). Then it became dark and the temperature dropped. The heat lamp nearest us didn't work, and the ring lights for the patio umbrella didn't light up. Our little table was the only one around the corner away from the flow of the wind and under the outdoor lighting instead of ambient light only. Best table at the entire joint (even though we heard all the indoor noise every time the door open and close). I hate to do this, but subtract 0.5 stars for the venue. When the entrees are $40-$50 for the good meals, I would like to eat them comfortably. Our server was very courteous - very. I overheard him tell another table that he had previously worked at Barking Frog. That explains a lot about his impeccable manners. Food and service was sufficiently swift. No issues. The Food: Grilled 12oz bone-in Niman Ranch Pork Chop, $48 - 5 Stars Menu: Grilled tomahawk pork chop with delicata squash, lobster mushrooms, last of the season sweet corn, Erik's baby kale, pancetta and bourbon peach jus Honestly, this dish is a beauty - visual and taste. The bourbon peach jus gave it the perfect finishing touch, complimenting the flavor of the pork. The pork and the veggies are fresh and perfectly cooked. Pan Roasted Wild Alaskan Halibut, $43 - 4 Stars Menu: Served with cauliflower-leek purée, Farmer Erik's greens, fennel, oil-cured olives, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, basil It is very easy to overcook halibut, and they didn't. The rainbow of veggies is impeccably fresh and flavorful. The cauliflower-leek puree is a tad too runny. I can taste the heavy cream in the sauce. No need to mask good veggies with cream. Wild Mushroom & Artichoke Dip, $18 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Wild mushroom duxelle & artichoke dip, fromage blanc, parmesan cheese, baguette by Tarte The dip we received does not look like the photo in their website. I included a copy of it for reference. Theirs has a rippled top and proud like a dome, covered with white cheese. Ours is flat, slightly recessed, covered with yellow and white cheese. I want what is presented in the photo; don't do a fast-food-burger-switch on me. The cheese was meh, but the dip underneath it was very, very good.

Yelp
Went here for dinner- wow delicious . Friendly and attentive staff. Cute restaurant inside lovely atmosphere. Food-- we had the beet salad and it was soo tasty , great portion. Cheese plate - LOVED the dried fruit and presentation. Get the caramelized scallops ! The half portion is 2 scallops, full is 4 . I had the half and I was satisfied, the scallops sit on a bed of root veggies and asparagus. Husband got the steak (which of course I tried) steak was so juicy and tender and the mash was nice and plentiful. I would absolutely recommend this place. Only downside was my cocktail - I ordered a new take on a martini and it wasn't for me but hey you live and you learn

Yelp
I came here recently to meet a friend for lunch on a Friday but have also been here for brunch. Everything I've had has been really good, especially the Manila clams dish! I love the sauce and wish they would give more bread for dipping! All the food tastes very fresh and the service is great too! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
So good!!! Came here for lunch. They don't have their brunch menu on weekdays :( Everything tasted so fresh. All the ingredients were such high quality. Service was friendly. They had some pop music playing. Everything was cooked with nice crisps. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Food was fantastic! Really great homestyle comfort food. I would recommend to anyone for a hearty brunch. Proportions were really large! I could easily have 2-3 meals per plate. Server was really attentive making sure coffee was fresh and freshly brewed. They were super kind letting me work on my laptop during lunch too! Great place!

Yelp
Another day at my favorite restaurant... HERITAGE!!! I was lucky enough to have my fav waiter Kyle (who i had to request since he's quite popular). If you come to heritage and get kyle as a waiter ask for his recommendations because he has a talent for just understanding peoples preferences... it's crazy. Today I had the steak frites... it was... DA BOMB!!! and once again an aperol spritz

Yelp
Excellent food and service! You get great values for what you pay. The bartender is very nice and waiters cater to what you need. We got reimbursed for a dish because they did not make the burger as well done as my husband wanted.

Yelp
I have been wanting to Heritage for sometime now and finally made it for brunch. We got a table on the patio, a great spot on a clear day. We got the Heritage Benedict and Fried Egg Croissandwich. I loved the Heritage Benedict, the hollandaise was light and delicious, I liked the addition of arugula. The potatoes that came with it were great. The Fried Egg Croissandwich was very good, the croissant was so good, I would get the croissant on it's own. We liked their food so much, we made it back to Heritage for dinner the next day. We got Dungeness Crab Hushpuppies, Fresh Egg Pasta, and Alaskan Halibut daily special. The Dungeness Crab Hushpuppies were good. I loved the Fresh Egg Pasta, the garlic sausage in the noodles were delicious. Halibut was great. We got White Chocolate Panna Cotta to finish and absolutely loved it.

Yelp
I've been painfully remiss in not visiting Heritage Restaurant until just last weekend, despite it being 5 minutes from the house!! I admit the issue here is not wanting to battle the winery traffic around the Hollywood Schoolhouse, but met friends on a Thursday night and I was able to park in Heritage's lot. I blew it on pictures, but I will tell you that the four of us had an amazing dinner. Once in the Heritage, you forget all of the craziness outside. We were seated immediately, offered drinks, were oriented on the specials, and given time to peruse the menu. Waitstaff was delightful and were ready with recommendations. Special was lobster risotto, and I made him swear that I wouldn't be sorry since I hate being disappointed by risotto. He said after 8 years serving in two great Italian restaurants, he'd stake his reputation on it. BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! Lobster pieces were just barely finished into the risotto, so light and perfectly done. Risotto had just barely a tooth to it and presentation was beautiful with fresh mushrooms and shaved cheese. This is my new death row meal!! Other items at the table were the Wild Boar Gnocchi, The Wedge and Potato Soup. All well received. Split a Salted Caramel Brownie Sundae and Jar of Pie for desert, the former being a huge success, while the latter brought some serious pucker with the key lime. But the kind you can't stop going back for. We did linger to the point of being the only ones in the dining room while a private party continued in their dedicated space. Waitstaff assured us they were on our time, and to enjoy ourselves - Thank you! Will be back, and will get pics!

Yelp
My husband and I went here for a date night out. We had an early reservation but the reservation wasn't needed as there were a lot of empty tables. When we walked in we were greeted and sat right away. Water was brought out and we were greeted by our server. I can't remember her name but she was so sweet and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the bread service as an appetizer which was delicious!! Apparently Heritage has a bakery next door so all the bread on the plate was fresh and delicious from next door. We ordered a beet salad as a starter also. It was a big portion, definitely shareable size. For our main entrees we ordered the citrus honey brined half chicken and the caramelizes sea scallops. Both dishes were to die for!! You get half a chicken on a bed of Gouda mashed potatoes with carrots and green beans! Everything came out fresh and hot. There was so much flavor in every bite. With the scallops, they came on a bed of herbed lentils with spinach and mushrooms. Again, each bit was full of flavor. The chef putting these different flavors together really knows what they are doing. All the food tasted wonderful. Just a couple other things to note, they are kid friendly. While we were there we saw younger kids and also, a child in a high chair. Don't know if they have a kid menu or not but they have high chairs. It's an open room concept but didn't seem super loud like some places tend to be. All the employees were super friendly throughout our meal. We will definitely be going back! Thank you Heritage for a nice date night.

Yelp
I really liked it here. My friend and I came here for brunch on a whim. I wouldn't necessarily recommend that as we pleasantly found it was very busy when we arrived. Seeing restaurants busy warms my soul but in the future I'll make reservations since it isn't exactly a quick drive for me. Luckily there was a corner table in the bar available so we were able to snag that. Heritage instantly was cozy. I enjoyed the decor and I enjoyed being tucked away because I wouldn't have to see our currently nonstop drizzle outside. The bar was amazing. Our bartender / waiter was incredible - attentive, great recommendations, and made killer drinks. I was not anticipating how great the drinks would be. The food also was amazing. The oysters were delicious! The biscuits were soft and tasty. The gravy was nice and savory and beneath those biscuits were fingerling potatoes that were abundant and great! I didn't get the egg due to my allergy but this also typically comes with egg. My friend enjoyed eating it. I was very very happy with my experience here! I would have stayed all morning but they never slowed down so once we were done we promptly paid and left. I was told dinner is even better and I hope I can come back one day to have that experience!

Yelp
Came for a birthday dinner celebration. Ordered some appetizers and drinks along with a burger and the special halibut for dinner. The food and drinks here are spectacular! Fun drinks with a different twist to them. The hot and bothered was not real spicy, which was somewhat disappointing for me. The flavor was great regardless. The Thai basil was so very good. The amaretto sour with egg whites was smooth and a little tangy. Crab hush puppies were sweet with a hint of crab. The highlight was the special halibut filet, served with fresh vegetables. Good service and better food! We will come back for sure!
