The Best Restaurants in the Eastside of King County | Eater Seattle

"Nestled between tasting rooms in south Woodinville, Heritage is a seasonal, modern American food destination and a haven for wine-lovers. This jovial spot is led by chef Breanna Beike and can be enjoyed for the spot-on technique in dishes like Dungeness crab hush puppies that verge on croquetas and lithe and chewy house egg noodles — as well as creative dishes like bitter and texturally rich little gem salad and buttery seared black cod with Israeli couscous. The wine list highlights the particularities of Washington producers while also making room for European standard-bearers. Heritage is open for on-site and takeout dining." - Brett Bankson

We had a fantastic meal here the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The baked dip with artisan bread was comforting and indulgent, the salad was crisp and well-balanced with great textures and citrus notes, and the drinks were spot on smooth, well-crafted, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Service was warm, attentive, and never rushed. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome, which really elevated the experience. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively ideal for a casual lunch, brunch, or even a relaxed dinner with family and friends. Overall, great food, great service, and a great vibe. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to, and one I’d happily recommend to anyone in the Kirkland area. 👏🍽️🍹

We had an amazing dining experience at Heritage. Truly recommend them from a casual dinner to celebrating a special birthday. Of course, we had to order their famous hush puppies. We ordered the 12 ounce steak frites. For dessert, we had the ice cream special and pot of key lime that was amazing. The service was impeccable and even the ladies bathroom was a lovely experience.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. It was our first time visits and we all really enjoyed the evening. We had made a reservation and the restaurant was packed. Our table was in a room off the main room. It was quieter -- which we appreciated -- with one other birthday party and a table of 3. Kyle was our attentive server and creator of the absinthe cocktail but my drinking friends (I was designated driver) chose the barbie cocktail. We started with the crab and corn hush puppies which were tasty and a good appetizer to share. I had the tomahawk pork chop which was excellent with plenty of vegetables. The birthday girl had the king salmon which was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent on a bed of flageolet ("flatulence") beans and mushrooms. Our other friend had the clams with chorizo which were spicy. Everyone enjoyed their food. We finished with the pie in a jar (?) which was undercooked but edible and an apple bread pudding with caramel which was pretty good. Our friend's dessert included a birthday candle which was brought, unprompted, by the restaurant and is appreciated. Very buzzy atmosphere, a decent menu and friendly staff made this an enjoyable evening and somewhere I'd happily return.

Really appreciate the quick feedback! As I said the service has always been excellent and it also shown that they do care about customer feedback. Good job! I am bumping it from 4 to 5 stars ⭐️ We have been here several times and majority of the time the food is above standard. The quality of food is highly depend on who is the chef that day as we have ordered the same dish on the menu but it came out completely different. Service has always been excellent and really love the neighborhood restaurant feel.

Update upon Owner Response You follow-up is a positive - shows real care for the business. Fair enough that we could have at least referenced my primary complaint re portion of fish - though not sure how to have handled the bland sauce for the salmon. Your servers have always been great. Original Review I have been to Heritage 3 times. I typically enjoy myself - the staff has been good to very good - including Eric the manager. HOWEVER, I have become somewhat disappointed by the food - including the portions. Specifically the last "fish and chips" for $30 - well, the tartar was great, the fries good - BUT merely two pieces of modest sized fish??? for $30?? Come on!! That is ridiculous - toss on a 3rd piece of decent sized - NOT over-fried pieces. The king salmon for $43 - okay, sort of a normal price in Seattle (with outliers) - but expecting a bit more of a portion - AND a sauce that actually had flavor - instead of the completely flavorless sauce provided. So despite having enjoyed the bartender and his custom Paper Plane, etc. - and the ambiance at the bar (much "cozier" than the front room), I doubt I will be back anytime soon - there are just too many good options to review.

Google
Cocktails were tasty, food was pretty good but we felt like it was on the expensive side for what you get. Service was great and inside was nice and it looked like their outside patio was popular as well.

Google
We enjoyed a private dinner in a separate room from the main dining room. Our group had well attentive service and the food was attractive and flavorful. The atmosphere is a bit industrial but I believe that matches the surrounding areas. We ate the Caesar salad, chicken and ice cream and shortbread cookie. I was surprised at how tender and moist the chicken was!! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Woodinville. Caution though- it was a bit loud here because of how it was constructed so maybe consider not bringing loud kids or having a quiet business meeting here. It's casual formal here.

Google
Great restaurant! The service was quick, but not too quick. Each server and host was polite and welcoming. The atmosphere was busy, but not loud, and you could still talk. They have a beautiful inside and outside. The food was very good! My favorite was the salmon dip, then the risotto and sausage balls (red pepper gravy is bomb). The crab hushpuppies were pretty good. You tasted the crab, but pretty normal after that. The big surprise were the french fries. Homemade and the perfect amount of salt seasoning. So good! Drinks were creative and delicious.

Yelp
After drinking all day, we heard Heritage had a good Happy Hour. My Brother-in law and I both ordered the burger and beer. We both asked for the burger to be medium rare with some pink/red to it. We both received it well-done. I couldn't wait for the bartender to ask how it was. We were hungry. When she finally came over, I told her they over cooked our burgers but I already ate most of it. I was starving. Without me knowing, the owner was behind us and saw my dissatisfaction. She said she would remove the charges. The fries were awesome. The beer good. The salad very good. The soup good. The caramel ice cream delicious. I told her I appreciated what she did. We tipped very well and will return soon after our next wine outing.

Yelp
Had a nice meal at heritage with some friends. I got the portobello burger. It was delicious but it was pretty wet which made the bun fall apart while eating. The side salad I got was tangy and delicious. The menu had a few errors on it, when we went to order some things we were told it was a type-o or incorrect. The start of the show was the coffee and donuts dessert. Warm cinnamon sugar donut holes with a coffee mousse, a must try! The service and ambiance was okay. We were brought out the wrong item and the person who brought it out to us made it seem like a huge inconvenience when we asked to be brought what we ordered. The server did step in though and make it right.

Yelp
If you are looking for a cozy meal after (or before) your wine tasting experience in Woodinville, Heritage delivers. The menu is comprised good and basic confort dishes you can't go wrong with. The staff is friendly and attentive. Tip: I would recommend making a reservation as the restaurant can get full at peak times.
google avatar

Yelp
Made a reservation for 5:45 on a Friday night. We got there a little early and it was empty but by the time we left it was packed so definitely good to have a reservation We started with the hush puppies as a recommendation from a friend and those were tasty. I had the wedge with prawns added and my husband did the steak frites which were both good. Our meals and two drinks was $180 after tip. Service was friendly from everyone we came in contact with. Glad we tried this place.

Yelp
Walked in and instantly had a friendly greeting! We were seated instantly (friend did make reservation). We started here before wine tasting. I enjoyed the classic French toast and a mimosa. Friend sitting next to me had the biscuits and gravy and a Bloody Mary. We ended up switching plates half way and the biscuits and gravy was so luxurious and melt in your mouth. As a table we also ordered the baked Brie to start, you can never go wrong with baked Brie.

Yelp
Cute little spot. Came for a quiet birthday dinner and they brought out a little treat for me! Since it's kinda small, it can get loud if there's a big party. Food is good, will definitely be back!
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
The restaurant has such a warm, homey feel, the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable and welcome. The food is consistently excellent, with flavors that taste both thoughtful and familiar. Their wine menu is impressive, with a great variety and surprisingly reasonable prices! Service was on the slower side during our visit, but our server was friendly, attentive, and kept us informed about the delay, which made a big difference. Overall, it's a spot worth returning to for the cozy atmosphere, great food, and well-curated wine list.

Yelp
We came to Heritage for Saturday brunch and everything on the brunch menu looked so good. I ended up getting the smoked salmon eggs benedict and split it with my friend. The portion size was definitely big enough for us 2 along with an order of the arancini appetizer. The salmon eggs benedict had perfectly poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and tomato, and I really liked the fluffy sourdough English muffin. The arancini was my FAVORITE thing about the brunch though because this was the Holy Grail of all arancinis: the risotto was stuffed with smoked provolone and sausage, and the crunchy creamy concoction was amazing dipped in the creamy red pepper tomato gravy. I dream of returning for the arancinis!

Yelp
We had food delivered from Heritage while we were wine tasting at Darby and the waitress brought me a charcuterie board without gluten or cheese or meat so I was very happy with that! I did pop In the restaurant when I ordered and it's so cute!! I love the outdoor patio and it's a great hang!
google avatar

Yelp
Been here handful of times and every time it gets better! This time was a birthday celebration where they comped our dessert, chocolate panna cotta. Drinks were delicious, and I loved my spring farro dish. The oysters were a solid share plate and not as common in this immediate area. The service was friendly and efficient but on a Saturday night, was shocked to see they empty out early. Was surprised to be the last table standing at 9pm. We could have kept going (and we certainly weren't going crazy) but needed to leave, bummer. Parking can be tough in this lot, small spaces in a shared strip of wineries. It's doable but if you care about your car, you might want to ride share.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Heritage always provides a great dining experience. They have a wide variety on their menu to accommodate all different preferences. We were celebrating two birthdays, and our server was fantastic! He checked in regularly and wanted to ensure a special experience for all of us, especially the birthdays. The food is very flavorful, and very generous portion sizes! Great for lunch and dinner and tons of outdoor seating!

Yelp
Im so glad the staff at Goose Ridge recommended the Heritage!! I can't believe it's only the first time we try this place. I've been missing out. As someone who is on gluten free diet, I felt that there were plenty of options on the menu. Our waitress was super friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We fell in love with the beet burrata salad. So refreshing and flavorful. We had a wine tasting at goose ridge before coming here, so didn't get the chance to taste any of their drinks. But there is always next time. Loved the music playing when we came in around 1:45pm. Scorpions yes please! Compliments to the chef and management! We will definitely be regular customers from here on.

Yelp
Came here for a quick, happy hour on a sunny day and had one of the best wedge salads I've had in a long time. The lettuce was super crisp, the salad dressing didn't make everything soggy and the toppings were very nice. I added some grilled chicken on the side but did not realize it turned a $14 wedge salad into a $23 one. Had I known I would have skipped the chicken as it was a good portion, but dry. There are some good deals on food and drinks during happy hour (burger + beer for $20!) but the full menu looks equally delicious. Parking is snug but do-able midday but would be tricky in the evening. I believe 2 hours are validated at the front desk when you give your license plate.

Yelp
Went for an impromptu dinner on Friday night around 6. No wait. Got a smoked salmon dip, mussel frites, and grilled cauliflower steak. It was all tasty and cooked well. Service was great and the ambiance was nice where there were people who dressed up and those who were casual. This is definitely a pricier spot as dinner for two came out to about $100 including tip but it's a nice treat. Parking in the lot is awful. Expect to have to park in a nearby lot and pay for parking because of the limited lot size for the restaurant.

Yelp
My friend and I were here for a weekend brunch. I wasn't too hungry so I kept it light with the daily soup - it tasted like minestrone with no pasta but a whole lot of vegetables. I got the bigger size (medium large bowl) for around $8 or 9. The soup was pretty good and I was happy with it. I also bought some pastries and a latte from the bakery next door, which is run by the same business. Pastries were not remarkable, they were quite average. The restaurant was bustling with the brunch crowd. Waiters seemed busy but were quite attentive and worked hard to answer all my questions.

Yelp
UPDATING MY REVIEW A BIT Thanks Breanna B for dialing in the date and for the quick response. Yes - it was over Valentines weekend, and thanks for the clarification that the steak was a Ny Strip. It was indeed, now that I recall fully. However I will hold that it was still a tough piece of meat, still pretty flavorless, and unfortunately, looking back at my receipts, still not a great value. But I appreciate the fact that your team has already responded here as that continues to show the commitment to service and that alone is worth another star! ORIGINAL Joined friends here for dinner a few weeks back and had a genuinely lovely evening. I haven't been there in ages, and can say that the updated interior and staff service was outstanding. We had reservations for a two couples, got seated quickly, and had great attentive service throughout the night. Our apps and cocktails were stellar. Although following a bit of wine tasting, I will fully own that if they were less than stellar, it might have been lost on us, as we were so fully engaged in conversation, and the service was impeccable, we didn't at all notice! Our salads were strong as well, although I would say there was a little more dressing than salad. This was especially true of my wedge. When I order a wedge salad, I expect a wedge of iceberg lettuce, and toppings, not a few leafs of iceberg lettuce with enough toppings to bury an entire wedge. While it was tasty, it seemed a bit light on the actual lettuce for my taste. Disappointingly, my wife's lobster bisque, was quite tiny in terms of volume / portion size. This theme continued with her meal, as she ordered scallops and got four tiny scallops as her main course. While both were tasty, they both seemed quite overpriced / undersized in terms of value. While our guests enjoyed their entrees, my medium rare steak frites was a true miss. Normally you would expect a ribeye to be full of flavor, well marbled, and easy to cut. Instead what I got was a much tougher cut of meet, much more of a NY strip in ribeye clothing, with a healthy amount of fat, and minus all of the delicious flavor I would normally expect from a ribeye. While the accompanying fries and aioli made for a good meal, it really didn't due justice to what it could have been. Thankfully, the portion was healthy, and I was able to share the rest of the meal with my wife, who was still hungry from her small portions, and she eagerly wolfed down the remaining steak and fries, making for a good end to the meal. Overall I felt that the service and ambiance more than made up for the shortcoming in the meals itself, but I honestly don't know that I would put this high on my list of spots to revisit again soon. I think there ay be better spots with a bit more attention to detail in this price range in the region.

Yelp
I want to clarify a few things in response to the owner's comment on the other review. The only reason we may have seemed to enjoy ourselves was because we were with family, not because of the service. In reality, we were very disappointed. Drinks were forgotten, orders were mixed up, and the servers did not know which food belonged to which guest. On top of that, there was a lack of accountability -- it felt like we were being treated as if serving us was a favor. Also, the "generous tip" mentioned was not voluntary; it was the automatic 20% added for parties of five or more. Suggesting otherwise feels misleading. Your claim that items were comped from our bill is simply not true -- we have receipts that prove nothing was removed. Your response only proves that there is little care for your guests' actual experiences or for cultivating lasting relationships with customers. Rather than taking accountability, the reply deflects responsibility and minimizes our concerns.

Yelp
Everything is always amazing! The food is fantastic, staff is wonderful, & decor is in inviting. We love coming for their wine tasting dinners, seasonal specials, and Thursday night pick up bake- family meal take out dinner. 10/10

Yelp
We went in on a weekend for brunch. The ambiance was inviting, making it feel as cozy and comfortable as dining in your own home. We were very excited for the Dungeness crab hushpuppies, and it did not disappoint with its combination of Dungeness crab and sweet corn fritters. Farmer's Breakfast, the daily special, was huge, featuring scrambled eggs with lots of fresh ingredients, sausages, perfectly seasoned and cooked fingerling potatoes, and toast. French Toast. OK...we really need to talk about this in more depth because it was one of the best I've ever had. At first, I wondered where my maple syrup was, but once I took a bite, I realized it had been absorbed into the French toast, creating a perfectly balanced sweetness. The almonds were toasted, y'all! And the strawberries were cut to fit perfectly into each piece of French toast. I was super impressed with the attention to detail. Key Lime Pie in a Jar. This dessert features a classic key lime curd, offering a tart and creamy citrus flavor, perfectly balanced by the sweetness and texture of a graham cracker crumble. It's topped with beautifully toasted marshmallow-like meringue and fresh berries.

Yelp
Another 5 star meal and service! Again, this is our favorite local restaurant and has been for several years now. Always consistent, fresh local ingredients and delightfully delicious food.
google avatar

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Came here for a date night but definitely more of a family restaurant. Portion sizes were good and our food was good too. Crab hushpuppies tasted more like pancake and weren't super strong on the crab flavor. Our waitress was kind and attentive. Loved both mocktails on the menu!
google avatar

Flora C.

Yelp
This is my go-to restaurant in Woodinville with friends or solo. The bakery next door is as wonderful as the restaurant. Food is always made with quality ingredients and a well balanced flavors in reasonable pricing. I was especially surprised by their selection of old loose tea leaves. It was smooth and fragrant. As a tea drinker, I appreciate the care and thoughts behind the menu. Thank you. A side note about their afternoon tea set, I would love to try it but the menu is just huge with the amount of food. I would frequent for this service if a more manageable portion is available. Support local business Support women's businesses Cheers!

Yelp
AbsoLUTELY wonderful quaint little spot! A+++ for sure!!! Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, the ambiance is excellent for either a date night or a family dinner. I loved the upscale, modern rustic and open airy feel. The real flowers on the table were a wonderful touch and shows how much the owner cares about the customer experience. Visited here with my entire family, who don't normally care to eat out, but I love trying new places and I was visiting home so they all decided to come along. I found this place on, where else but here?! :P Went to the website for the menu and the pictures really hit that nail into the coffin for my mom to say ooohhhhh yes let's go here! Beautiful and upscale pictures of the food on the website, which really gave us a visual of what to expect! We drove out from Bellevue on a Saturday to get seated right when they opened at 4:30pm. Perfect timing because people quickly trickled in. We were there for about an hour and a half so got to beat traffic there and back! We started with the crab hush puppies, DELISH! Nice and fluffy! We also started with the wild prawns, super fresh!!! I had the sea scallops, grandma had the bacon & gouda mac n' cheese, dad has the burger, brother had the prawn gnocchi, mom had a pasta... I can't remember what she got and I don't see it on the online menu but I know she got a pasta. Every single one of us loved our meals. Dad is the pickiest and usually finds something he doesn't love about his meals when we go out but ... NOT THIS TIME!!! He actually said that was the best burger he has had in a longgggggg time! I really love that the presentation of the food was just as beautiful as the online pictures. I meant to a T! Gorgeous and very appealing! We finished by sharing the home made chocolate ice cream, the tiramisu and the key lime pie in a jar. Ohhhh myyy gawwwwwwwwsh! SO glad we did! The key lime pie actually had fluffy and creamy singed merengue on top, not whip cream like some places try to get away with. I was also very pleased with the generous portion sizes. That being said, for the quality and portion sizes the prices are fair!!! Spend a good couple hundred bucks here and very glad to do so and will be back!!! If you haven't patroned here yet, put it on your list of must tries!!!

Yelp
Amazing food, beverages and staff! What more could you ask for? Chef Bre and her team have created something really special. The menu is top notch deliciousness! Five Stars all day, everyday

Yelp
Perfect location for dinner prior to a concert at Chateau Michelle. The restaurant is in a strip mall area with other restaurants, plenty of adequate seating. The service was phenomenal from the start, our waiter was on top of refills, and our empty plates were cleared quickly. The food was delicious- with one issue- I'll get to that. But first, the crab hush puppies were to die for. Sweet, savory, and the dill cream fraiche was spot on. My husband ordered the special, which was fried ling cod and chips. My husband orders fish and chips everywhere we go- it's his ultimate favorite food- so he is beyond picky. He literally said "this is the best plate of fish and chips I've ever had". It was sooooo good- we shared. I ordered the strip steak and this is where the food fell flat- just not seasoned, bland, not charred. The crispy Parmesan potatoes were boiled potatoes- zero crisp- the plate was just horrible. We didn't tell the server this. I still gave 5 stars because everything else was phenomenal. We topped off our dinner with donuts with espresso cream- melted in our mouths. Overall- fantastic restaurant- crazy good menu.

Yelp
This was my last dinner in my trip and I'm glad I ate here. Interior is modern and dinner vibes are energetic and lively, it's loud in here. There's a main dining area and a bar area off to the side. Service is good and friendly. Food is good. I got the mushroom soup and it hit the spot on a chilly night. Veggies in my dish were cooked well and the sauce for the entree was great. Actually seasoning the entree itself instead of just relying on the sauce would've made this even better. Overall, great dinner option for a fun night out.

Yelp
One of the things I miss most about living on the Eastside is the lovely Heritage. I first discovered them when a friend brought me here for brunch nearly four years ago, and since then I've enjoyed them for everything from a drink to lunch to dinner. The food here is always fresh and the portion sizes are ample. Their wine list is one of the best in Woodinville, and their cocktails are on point too. I also loved their bloody mary when I had brunch here on my bday this year. What truly sets Heritage apart is the fantastic, friendly service. The staff are always friendly, and super knowledgeable about the menu and daily specials. I highly recommend making a reservation before visiting. And be sure to check out their lovely outdoor patio during the warmer months.

Yelp
This was my favorite dining experience on the Eastside and Woodinville area. So much so... that I *really* wanted to return the next day. First off, it's a woman-owned (holler!) and family-owned and operated restaurant featuring fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. It was so difficult choosing from the menu, because on this particular fall 2023 day, I wanted it all. We started with half a dozen hama hama oysters and sparkling rose (clink!); and for my entree, it's was a special that night - and I'm bummed that I don't recall what kind of fish it was (see pic) ...but it was spectacular. It was a dish that I was hoping would never end. It was topped over zucchini, cherry tomatoes, couscous, kale... They have a full bar (including a separate bar area), a fantastic wine and cocktail selection, and a knowledgeable staff that'll have the perfect rec' for ya! Five stars all the way and can't wait to return and try their popular brunch (fingers crossed).

Yelp
After a day of wine tastings we needed some good food to fill up on. The potato soup was a worthy start. Not chunky, this is a great example of how to do this soup well. I got the namesake burger. It was gorgeous. Really well prepared and museum quality showing. I'll confess the fries were even better but it's a great choice regardless Our server was friendly and good came out promptly. A great find in his part of town.

Yelp
By the time my husband and I finished our meal on Saturday night, we had already decided we have to come back to try brunch, to bring guests from out of town, and to celebrate more special occasions. Heritage Restaurant is an absolute gem, and we have no idea how we hadn't discovered it sooner. We had a reservation for 6pm, and we were so glad we did as we watched the tables around us quickly fill up. We were seated in this room right across from the bar with 4 tables; it looked like this room could be used for a private event, as it had a projector screen, and if I'm not mistaken, a sliding door. Even with the door open, it felt more intimate in here than if we had been seated in the main areas. We loved our server, Mike, right off the bat. He came by to introduce himself, was welcoming and unassuming, and made us feel at home. We started with the beet and arugula salad, with the blue cheese and toasted hazelnuts on the side. Visually, the serving looked small but it was enough for the two of us as a starter. For the mains, my husband had the Heritage burger while I opted for one of the specials, the braised short rib with black truffle risotto, Delicata squash, and wild mushrooms. My husband boldly claimed this to possibly be one of the best burgers he's ever had (and he's had a lot of burgers) and after two bites, I could see why. The beef patty was so incredibly melt-in-your mouth juicy and well seasoned. The fries were thick and hand-cut and came with a saffron aioli- the lemon juice in the aioli was a bit overpowering, but we still scraped the cup clean. I loved the risotto and how the juices from the short rib cut through the richness, but in spite of this, I found the short rib itself to be a tad dryer than I expected. The risotto was really the star for me, and the squash and wild mushrooms added texture and depth. For dessert, we shared the Pie in a Jar, which was a key lime pie. We loved the fluffy toasted marshmallow topping, but found the key lime filling to be a bit too tart for our liking. The graham cracker crumb at the bottom was also too salty for us. Though dessert was not the highlight of our meal, we will certainly be back for the "upscale casual" dining experience, the delicious main dishes, and excellent service. For as busy as it was, we didn't feel like we had to rush at all and got to share a lot of conversation in between courses. Thanks to the team at Heritage for a great evening!

Yelp
Had a great time on our date at Heritage this afternoon. We had the Wedge Salad, meat and fruits plate, the Beef Dip sandwich and Burger. SPOILER ALERT the fries, burger meats and WEDGE were wonderful. We also had drinks which were nothing spectacular but definitely would order a drink again if we were to come back. All in all it was a solid choice for a day date with my wife. If you do come make sure at least to try the wedge salad & thank me later.

Yelp
Lovely place to spend a rainy lunch afternoon. This place is amazing and has great food options. We were taken by surprise! Recommendation: as appetizers pick the Dungeness Crab Hushpuppies! And their special card always has great options! Service was super friendly and very helpful! Loved the team and the atmosphere! We will come back :)

Yelp
Horrible experience. Forgotten drinks, mixed up food delivery. The atmosphere is just not right Would not recommend

Yelp
Heritage has the kind of menus I appreciate around here: seasonal and local. There's almost nothing on the menu I wouldn't like to try, especially with its emphasis on seafood. Our most recent visit was mostly very pleasant. The food and service were beyond reproach. The space is pretty noisy, with the main dining room being basically a box, with no carpet and little else to absorb noise. Normally this is fine, I can still hear everything I need to. However, there was live music that night. It absolutely did not need to be amplified, because I could not even hear my waiter, and it was additionally not to my taste at all. Aside from this annoying distraction, my husband's birthday dinner was lovely. I also appreciate that the place is not overheated as so many are in the winter.

Yelp
Delicious food! Burger always amazing. Mussels and fries delicious! Salad was over dressed but nice flavors. Service attentive.

Yelp
I had a lovely time here! As a gluten free pescatarian, I felt like there were a lot of options for me and my waiter was very helpful in helping me with substitutions. I ended up getting the Brussels sprout Brie omelette with a salad and gluten free bun and it was amazing! Fresh ingredients, amazing flavor, so good! It also came out in under 10 min from us ordering, even on a busy day, which was really nice. Great vibe, amazing food, terrible parking lot. Still worth it in my opinion!

Yelp
After hitting some of the local wineries it was time to get some food. We chose Heritage as it was convenient to our prior stop, and it was recommended by a friend. Definitely glad we tried here. I can say early I'd forward this recommendation to you, reader. Started with the Crab Hushpuppies. Described as "Dungeness crabs & sweet corn fritters, lemon-dill crème fraîche. Don't know about the last ingredient, but I know these were really-really good. I was a little "wined out" by this point so it was cocktail time. I went with the Woodinville Barbie - Tito's , prickly pear syrup, lime. Another hit. Sweet and strong, just how I like it. The main event was the Pork Shank. I feel bad for you if you don't eat pork because this was such a delicious cut. Everything was excellent and it came with roasted Brussels, polenta, with a nice gravy. It was seasoned so well I was beyond impressed. It was a special, so I am very glad I went for it. If they make that part of their permanent menu, that would make it THE entree to get in my opinion. Definitely recommend. It was a packed Saturday night here, with a reservation we had to wait about 5 minutes, but we were accommodated well, and the server and hostesses were very nice. Would recommend coming in if you're in the area and would love to come back after hitting wineries in the area again.

Yelp
Came for weekend brunch with some friends and we were so excited about the menu. Completely disappointed at the food. We got the hushpuppies, a salad and an eggs benny. It was very bland to say the least, except the hushpuppies everything else did not taste good. Ambiance seemed great though. However would not come again here for the food!

Yelp
Been here before and liked it but revisited and it felt like the food was not as good. In particular the clams. It was really sour, felt like the wine wasn't cooked off enough and it was really bitter and there was so much of the broth. Husband loved the burger though so we can come back another time and I'll try other things. Looks like they have specials and such so a good way to rotate.

Yelp
Ate at Heritage yesterday evening, April 19, 2025. We sat at one of the tables in the bar area. We have been to Heritage several times but not for a little while and decided to give it another try. Notice there are a few new things on the menu and the specials looked amazing. The bartender was taking care of us and took a little while to come and greet us and get a drink order. Understand that the bartender is busy so not a big deal. I asked her if she was able to make a piña colada and her answer was "no". Might have been an opportunity to suggest another drink or get creative? We ordered the artichoke and spinach dip as an appetizer. It was a nice portion of dip with five thin slices of baguette. We did order extra bread, which was a two dollar charge. The dip was good but not really hot all the way through. I ordered the lamb special for $41 and the 4 small chops of lamb were overcooked. It's a nice atmosphere and on other occasions service has been really good.

Yelp
Heritage is a hit or miss for us but lately it's been a miss, especially during lunch. I've gone for dinner and it's been so lovely so I'm not sure why the lunch shift is always wacky. I took my mom for lunch and enjoyed the wine and appetizers finely enough, but when it came to our food we were super disappointed tbh. I ordered a simple salad and my mom ordered a sandwich, no crazy alts made, just add chicken to my salad and my mom hates dill so sub Swiss cheese on her sammy. Took 30 mins and we got our food with zero chicken and the server told us that the kitchen DID in fact switch out the dill cheese for Swiss. Babes dill REEKS and that sandwich smelled like a dill explosion so nah. Be so for real. Let's get into the salad: if you're a tomato lover you expect an Heirloom tomato salad to be banging full of tomatoes. What was served to me was a pile of arugula, with one quarter of an heirloom, a pizzle of grape tomatoes (not heirloom) and a clearly cut in half ball of burrata with a whisper of pesto. The thing was 90% arugula. 30 minute for not only a goats dream dish, but for something as simple as a sandwich and SALAD.

Yelp
We came here for a late dinner and we were happily greeted and offered a table. Heritage is a cute little bistro. I ordered a glass of wine and the mushroom risotto. I ordered a Cabernet franc off the menu, and I'm not entirely convinced it wasn't corked. It was so bad, I couldn't drink it. I didn't complain or return it, just didn't drink it. The mushroom risotto itself was great. I loved the meal. I'd return for that. I only removed a star due to the bad wine.

Yelp
Went here for dinner- wow delicious . Friendly and attentive staff. Cute restaurant inside lovely atmosphere. Food-- we had the beet salad and it was soo tasty , great portion. Cheese plate - LOVED the dried fruit and presentation. Get the caramelized scallops ! The half portion is 2 scallops, full is 4 . I had the half and I was satisfied, the scallops sit on a bed of root veggies and asparagus. Husband got the steak (which of course I tried) steak was so juicy and tender and the mash was nice and plentiful. I would absolutely recommend this place. Only downside was my cocktail - I ordered a new take on a martini and it wasn't for me but hey you live and you learn

Yelp
Great spot for a lunch bite or brunch. We went late but during the busy times you may need to wait. The wine selection is great, they have fresh coffee and you can also get some cocktails. Service is fast and friendly and the vibe is relaxed.

Yelp
Chef Bri has this dialed in. Celebrated a 60th birthday over brunch. Amazing! The clams to start and all got their own entree.

Yelp
Met here with a friend for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Interior has clean lines and is decorated tastefully. Friend had the Philly sandwich and I had the Reuben, and both were just okay - neither of us can explain exactly why. We were celebrating a birthday and shared a dish of the salted caramel ice cream. The first taste was powerful. The second taste was, too. By the third, it was a bit overwhelming. We left most of it on the table. Our server would disappear for lengthy amounts of time; my friend wanted extra dressing for her side salad, and by the time they returned from the back area of the restaurant, she was mostly done with the salad. Be aware that the parking lot is 99% full all the time. My friend had a park in another lot as she could not find a spot. I maytry it again in the future.

Yelp
So good!!! Came here for lunch. They don't have their brunch menu on weekdays :( Everything tasted so fresh. All the ingredients were such high quality. Service was friendly. They had some pop music playing. Everything was cooked with nice crisps. Will be back soon!

Yelp
In town for a concert, decided to try this place. I had Seared Ahi appetizer and Everyday fish fry, hands down best fish and chips I've had in a long time, Panko crusted, piping hot, crunchy and juicy. Slaw was perfect as were fries, appetizer also a winner. Great service, it will be on the list next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
I have been wanting to Heritage for sometime now and finally made it for brunch. We got a table on the patio, a great spot on a clear day. We got the Heritage Benedict and Fried Egg Croissandwich. I loved the Heritage Benedict, the hollandaise was light and delicious, I liked the addition of arugula. The potatoes that came with it were great. The Fried Egg Croissandwich was very good, the croissant was so good, I would get the croissant on it's own. We liked their food so much, we made it back to Heritage for dinner the next day. We got Dungeness Crab Hushpuppies, Fresh Egg Pasta, and Alaskan Halibut daily special. The Dungeness Crab Hushpuppies were good. I loved the Fresh Egg Pasta, the garlic sausage in the noodles were delicious. Halibut was great. We got White Chocolate Panna Cotta to finish and absolutely loved it.
