"Herkimer Pub, which opened on December 3, 2000, will close after twenty years of operation. Known for brewing beer inside its restaurant, it switched from a mostly German beer lineup to American style in 2012. It was a popular neighborhood gathering spot for game day viewing and annual beer-centric events. The pub will host a final send-off before closing." - Joy Summers

Really cute/nice atmosphere. Awesome for groups, events, dates and more! Small selection of beers but a full bar! Margaritas are fantastic.

Usually don't comment on staff but the bartender was very friendly and attentive. All food was amazing especially the poutine and doughnut holes. Beer was good but they could maybe use some guest taps.

I have always loved coming here. The food, beer, and service has always been outstanding, until this evening. Our server Tasha was inattentive, rude, and condescending. Every time we tried to flag her down to order something, she made it a point to look away and avoid eye contact. When we would finally get ahold of her, she would visibly roll her eyes and act like it was a serious inconvenience to take an order. When I return, I will leave if I see her. In spite of the high quality food and beer, I will never again recommend The Herkimer to a friend or family member. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience and I doubt I will ever forget how much of an absolute let down this visit was.

We waited ~40 min for our food. The waiter admitted that he mistakenly did not enter our order. He made no offer or attempt to remedy the situation. I paid $9 for "tater tot poutine", which was disappointing and disproportionately small compared to the other meals (picture attached). I won't be coming back and I don't recommend anyone coming either

A Packer safe haven; within 5 minutes of walking in we got bingo cards and raffle tickets and high fives from people hyping up the atmosphere. It's a warm place for the frozen tundra team.

Love, love, love this place! First of all, there are a ton of great breweries in the Twin Cities but very few that serve food and have a full bar. The atmosphere is great - patio with games and large booths inside. Never overly crowded. They have happy hour deals every day of the week (2 for 1s on most their beers which is a damn good deal). And they have a lot of different beer styles and I have yet to have a beer I didn't like here.

Beer and bar service- 5 stars. Food and food service- 2 stars. After having a great afternoon of sitting at the bar, we decided to grab a table and try what was advertised as an awesome Friday fish fry. For starters we were ignored at the table for about 20 minutes until I finally flagged someone down. The person I flagged down had the personality of a wet dish rag and seemed to really hate his job. The fish was average. For $12 you get a plate of fish and fries. Just don't do what I did and make the HUGE mistake of ordering a couple of tarter sauces with your fish. Charged me extra...For tarter sauce...With fish. (It did not come with tarter sauce.) Not only did the server charge me extra for it, it just appeared on the bill. Never did he mention it when I ordered it, nor did I see on the menu where condiments with a meal are extra. Don't waste your time eating here.

The fact that we had a reservation, and everything was placed when we arrived was nice. The waitress asked for drinks asap, which was amazing. Sports on the projectors was pretty cool too!. The shuffle board was a nice feature, and we played two games, however I personally lost both games... The order came at least 20 min after everyone arrived. The food also took a half hour or so for the first of the burgers to be presented. Our last meal was out at least 20 min after the first, so the timing for all of the food coming within 5 min of each was not cool... I ordered the Milkmaid. By far, this was the best burger there. Cheese curds, bacon and good cheese, with the toasted bun and special sauce was a great combo. Although I was not given the option of how I would prefer my burger to be done, it was amazing. However, the side that I ordered was sweet potatoes, they were burnt. Everyone else who ordered them, were not. This completely ruined the experience of eating here. Whoever allowed this meal to come out onto the floor needs to be talked to, because that is unacceptable. The side is just as important to the meal. Pathetic. However, some of the people around me allowed me to have some good ones, these were by far, some of the best sweet potato fries I have ever had (not homemade).
