Just had some of probably the best tacos of my entire life at this joint. The salsa that you get with the chips is outstanding! The drinks are incredible. But most of all the service is amazing. My server Jose was not only warm and kind, but super funny and a talented musician! It’s servers like that that make the experience at a place like this memorable enough to tell everybody! Will definitely be coming back for the food and for service like that again!

The food was really good. Japanese and Mexican fusion, tapas style with some main dishes. We had around 6 different dishes. Dog friendly.

I think Hermanito is one of the best restaurants in west LA. The food quality is top notch, and I loved everything I tried from the bao buns, to the hand rolls, corn, and taquitos. Their happy hour is significantly cheaper with some menu items featured in lunch/dinner, so definitely that’s an option to try if you’re watching cost. It is pricey here but I would say very worth it for the quality. Amazing and hope they stick around!

For the amount that we spend on Saturday evening. Is not good. Well. I want to start from the good thing. The cocktails was good. But the service not great. He is so green. For a weeknight, that's ok. But for a busy Saturday night? Not so much. He didn't check on us. Didn't refill out water and let the empty bottles sat on the table during our entire dinner. Didnt check with us before it take the plate away while we are still eating. With the cost of the food and the vibe of the place, service was not to point. Now the food..Well. I have the steak taco... And I have to add soy sauce because it just doesn't taste good. Then I have to send back the uni. It was just served crack open... How am I supposed to eat that? The "hand roll" served as you made you own hand roll.... I mean for $25+ hand roll and we have to make it ourselves?

Everything was amazing. Berry made us feel at home and cared for. Cocktails amazing. Berry the best at recommending and serving. Food and drinks 10/10

The goldenest golden hour! This place is pure magic! It almost qualifies as a travel hack. Like for those times when you are desperate for a vacation but have obligations in town. So you treat yourself to a few hours of good food, cocktails, and ambiance that makes you feel like you have been transported to paradise. The food is every bit as delicious as the OG Hermanito on Sawtelle. And the menu runs the range from going all-out (delish raw bar - Japanese/Mex fusion) to happy hour tacos that my ten year old loved! Did I mention they make cocktails? My drink of choice is “liquor” so I liked all of them. My faves were the spicy margarita and the mezcal negroni. Tip: Go during daylight hours! The lighting is bananas beautiful. Unless it is raining - in that case go any time (and pretend you are in a place that has a rainy season 🌎:) Or if you like good food - this would also be a situation to go anytime.

Food was shockingly good. I feel like we go out in Santa Monica often and feel very "meh" about $$$-style food but this was great. I wish the prices were lower but I don't regret eating there at all! Can't wait to go back
