Best Restaurants Near American Airlines Center | Eater Dallas

"This massive sports bar has six bars, arcade games, and a 24-foot HD screen for watching whatever game is on. The menu covers all the bases, with the Tender Bender on a Tot Yacht, which contains five pounds of chicken tenders and tater tots that serve eight to 10 people, but diners can order something more demure, like ahi tuna tostados and smoky carrot hummus. The Super Bowl nachos with white queso are a solid order for a big group, and pair well with Hero’s long list of salads if you want to cancel it out. Additionally, find burgers, chicken sandwiches, and tacos on the menu. This massive space, decorated in oranges and light browns, includes a good-sized outdoor patio, a room with arcade games, and a wine closet. Bring all your friends, or go and make some new ones." - Courtney E. Smith

Best Sports Bars in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"The 24,000-square-foot space has TVs everywhere you look, so you won’t miss a single play, and six bars are on the premises, so you’re never far from a drink. This season, the bar is offering more mega-sized trays of food that serve 8 to 10 people, like the Tender Bender on a Tot Yacht which has five pounds of chicken tenders and tater tots and the Tailgate Party which has a variety of bites, including buffalo popcorn chicken, cheese fries, cheese sticks, and empanadas. There are also mega-drinks, of course, that server three." - Kevin Gray

"If your plans for the night include a big game or concert, Hero in Victory Park makes for the perfect drink destination. Choose from one of six bars in the 24,000-square-foot wonderland of arcade games and giant TVs, and place your order. Ask your bartender or server to make an Elijah Craig Old Fashioned and you’ll get an uncomplicated rendition with bitters and an autumn spice-infused simple syrup. Marry it with an appetizer of smoky carrot hummus with grilled pita bread for a light snack any time of day." - Vox Creative
