The 7 course dinner was an exciting adventure in taste and presentation. The Amarone wine was just fantastic. Only drawback was that beef steak dish was very tough and chewy. The waiter acknowledged that and offered another fish dish instead. The atmosphere is calm with a Scandinavian touch. Interesting that the tables had no tablecloth but that is ok. The focus should be on the food.

Héroine in Rotterdam absolutely blew me away. Tucked inside Het Industriegebouw, the space itself is stunning — high ceilings, exposed materials, and that perfect balance of industrial and cozy. It feels a bit like you’ve discovered a hidden spot in a warehouse, but with all the warmth and atmosphere you’d hope for on a great night out. We went for the 5-course tasting menu, and honestly, it was flawless from start to finish. Every dish felt thoughtful and surprising, but the oysters really stole the show. Perfectly fresh, beautifully prepared — they were easily the highlight of the evening. If you’re looking for somewhere in Rotterdam that delivers on both food and ambiance, Héroine is it. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Had a delightful dinner at Héroine. This restaurant is located near the center of Rotterdam. The atmosphere is great and the waiters are well educated about the different dishes and provide a detailed explanation of every course. This restaurant changes menu every 1-2 months and they never fail to amaze. They also have vegetarian options available.

We had an amazing experience the cocktails where amazing and the wine selection is excellent with really reasonable prices. The 7th course Menu was absolutely amazing and also reasonably priced. The staff was very attentive. After the dinner we felt full but not stuffed. However if you opt for the vegetarian option the servings seemed a bit like an afterthought with a lot of goat cheese and no “real” designated vegetarian dish except main. We also thought that the Deserts were nicely presented but a bit weak in taste/complexity. The bread was really tasteful although the dip could be improved. Also be prepared for a 2,5-3,5h experience which is ok but we were only expecting 1-2 h. I hope this review was helpful and please take it as a constructive critic.

Contemporary & simplicity 5 surprising courses🍽 Interesting contemporary fine dining rather than traditional fine dining. I liked the creativity - “new concept” of the fine dining, interior, staffs & atmosphere. However, there was no wow factor in the flavor but definitely worth to try!

Nice restaurant, run by young personnel with lot of enthusiasm. The food was well presented, and depending on the course it ranged from excellent and surprising to good. The wine paring was well done, with good matching and sometimes a nice contrast - overall good wines. The service was friendly, attentive and the dinner pace was enjoyable. Overall the venue has a nice atmosphere and vibe - quite elegant but not pretentious. I loved that one of the chefs came to our table to answer some of our questions, and also provided some cooking tips! No major remarks, we will surely come back!

The food here is absolutely amazing! It’s rare to find a restaurant where all the courses, including the amuse-bouches, are truly exceptional. These guys have truly outdone themselves. The service was friendly, but incredibly slow. It’s a real shame because it’s a showstopper. The ambiance also needs an upgrade. It’s reflected in the outfits of the guests, which is detracting from the overall experience. Despite these minor flaws, the price-to-benefit ratio is great.
