The haircut done by Dale was absolutely perfect: he listened carefully, paid attention to every detail, and gave me exactly the shape I wanted. The cut and movement are flawless, and I am very satisfied with his work.
The colour done by Kim, however, was extremely disappointing. I paid £455 for a balayage in warm honey/caramel tones(the first photo is like I wanted)bringing as a reference a photo of myself from some time ago,proof that this result had already been achieved on my own hair in the past. Despite this, the work did not reflect my request: the highlights came out too yellow, uneven, and with unwanted brassy tones. On top of that, the back of my head was left completely dark, creating a very visible “patch” effect whenever I wear my hair down.
I made it clear several times that I was unhappy with the result, but even after applying toner she was not able to get anywhere close to the colour I had asked for. Instead of showing patience or professionalism, her attitude made me feel uncomfortable: every time I expressed my dissatisfaction she showed irritation, responded in a passive-aggressive way, and made me feel as though I was exaggerating. I even ended up in tears after seeing the initial result, and in the end I accepted leaving the salon unsatisfied just to avoid staying any longer in that situation.
Small details may seem secondary but they reflect the overall experience: I asked for green tea and was given black tea twice (which I cannot drink), and when it was finally prepared I was already in the washing area, in tears, unable to even take it. Furthermore, the rinse was not done properly: I arrived at the haircut with conditioner/product residue still in my hair, and Dale himself had to clean it off with water spray and a towel before being able to proceed. Also, if the bathroom is not working or is out of service, please make sure to close it properly. The sliding door bathroom currently has the “out of service” sign placed in a way that is not visible when the door is open. Several clients, including myself, noticed this and it caused confusion and complaints. For a salon of this level, such details really matter and should be managed with more care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this salon – at least not for colour services. After paying £455 and leaving in tears with a result far from what I requested, I now have to spend additional money and time elsewhere to fix my hair.
