This used to be a great place to drop and hook. Easy simple process check in with the guard, drive to shipping, and your load was either ready or maybe it wasn't, but we could just drop the trailer and bobtail out no problems at all before. Then there's now, where they have a yard dog on a power trip thinking he is the owner of the drop lot and has his own set of procedures he believes are simple but they just delay the drivers. Now you have to guess what to do depending if he is there or not cause not all yard dogs are the same. So if the tyrant is there, you check in with the guard, drive near the drop lot, and sit and wait for him to come to you. Once he arrives, you better have the trailer # you are picking up, or he will start to get angry after all that you still have to go to shipping. If your load isn't ready, then he tells you to leave with the trailer. He doesn't care if there might be another load that needs to be loaded in the trailer you're bringing in and says it'll get done when you come back for your load. He claims this process is easier for the driver. This yard dog needs to be gone so we as drivers can do our jobs quickly and easily instead of having to deal with a yard dog on an ego trip. Very easy drop and hook. Nice people. It's easier if you can drop your empty trailer first on the yard, then proceed around the back end of the building. Park closer to the big blue water tower. The door is on the other side of dock 14. In and out in less than 15 minutes.

There were some cute features like Hershey Kisses over the lamp posts. There could have been better signage for Shipping and Receiving. Guard at the gate was very pleasant.

I have a 2 year degree and 10 years experience. They want to start you at the bottom and take a test. Why I am sure I know more about system controls and automation than the Baby Boomer Supervisor or Manager that would be over me. Companies need to wake up they going to have robots and nobody to fix them. Too many hoops to jump through for mediocre pay & benefits.

Spent over 24hrs just to drop and hook up to a loaded trailer I was supposed to pick the day before. This place is the worst place I have ever been to for a pickup. You guys does not deserve a single star.
