Het Verschil

We had a wonderful evening full of great creative dishes, deliciously paired wines, accompanied by an attentive, super friendly service, and good vibes all around. It was a pleasure to discover this place (thanks to their well deserved Gault&Millau rating) and we’ll for sure be back!

Fine dining in an exquisite setting .... that would be the best description for this place. A welcoming and stylish interior with view on the kitchen where the chef prepares little gems of modern dishes. A la carte or lunch menu at a more than fair price ( can be combined with matching wine arrangements). Parking out back .

We went to Het Verschil as we had a Bongo for starter and main dish for two. The waitress however explained us that we the Bongo was worth 50 euros and we could subtract that from the bill. Some mains were 44 euros already for one, so that did not seem fair. My lasagne was quite expensive and to be honest, not good. I've eaten microwave lasagna that tasted better. Staff was friendly and the vibe was OK though.

Great service, delicious food

Chic restaurant with welcoming athmosphere. Interesting menu wich offer local dishes reinterpreted with a touch of innovation. All places tasted were delicious. service was a bit slow but excellent and detaild-oriented. Car parking available on the back of the restaurant. Good job guys!

Excellent food, excellent service

Very nice place This chef knows what he is doing! Qiality food with a big Q Can't wait to go back!

The Bib Gourmand menu was very salty, the accompanying wines were not the best choices and the waiters knowledge about them was very poor.

Lovely restaurant. We loved them when they were still in Aalst, but in the new location they've taken the atmosphere and service up a notch while continuing to serve great food. During covid times we've done their home delivered menu and it was pretty damn fine too!
