From the moment I walked in, I was greeted like a VIP. The staff here are professional, friendly, and truly attentive—never letting my sweet tea (so good I had 7 refills!) run dry. When my Pepperoni and Carnero pizzas arrived, I was blown away. The crust was crisp yet fluffy, the cheese melted perfectly, and the toppings were fresh and full of flavor. Every bite was pure pizza bliss—so good it made me want to close my eyes and savor the moment, but also made me want to start dancing! lol 🍕 Hey Neighbor nails it. If you want incredible food, top-notch service, and an experience that will have you coming back again and again, this is the place. I will be here often!

My first visit to Hey, Neighbor Pizza was a fantastic experience, even for a takeout order. From the moment I called, Grace's warm and audible smile set a welcoming tone. When I asked for a starter recommendation, she enthusiastically suggested the Tomato Bruschetta, a customer favorite, which I happily added to my son's pepperoni pizza order. The restaurant's location is excellent. Arriving, I immediately noticed the ample outdoor seating and the inviting open garage-style door. The exterior was immaculate, with well-maintained shrubbery and plants, creating a very pleasant first impression. Inside, the cleanliness continued, and I was delighted to find myself surrounded by vibrant art from local artists, some of which was even for sale. The cheerful greetings from the smiling employees who were clearly enjoying chatting with customers made me feel incredibly welcome. Once home, I couldn't wait to try the bruschetta, a dish I often enjoy elsewhere and make myself. It was truly exceptional: crafted on whole wheat levain with creamy ricotta sopraffina, flavorful tomato confit, fresh basil, a delightful balsamic glaze, and a perfect touch of salt. It paired wonderfully with my Silvan Ridge 2024 Sauvignon Blanc. Grace, your recommendation was absolutely spot on – I was incredibly impressed, thank you! The pepperoni pizza was equally delicious. The crust was great with just the perfect amount of crunch outside and soft inside. It had just the right amount of crushed tomatoes, a perfect blend of mozzarella, and wonderfully flavorful pepperoni. Overall, it was a delicious dinner for my son and me, and we will absolutely be back to Hey, Neighbor Pizza.

Google
Food was amazing, people were friendly, and I loved the casual atmosphere. It was a beautiful spring day when we visited, and loved that outdoor seating was available. Their pizzas are perfect to split with a partner. Next time, I'm going to try a salad because they looked fresh and amazing. Got the Il Tuffo, and it was so good!

Google
Fresh tasting pizza, many more on the menu I want to try. Highly recommend! Friendly service.

Google
I had the opportunity to try Hey Niebor pizza today, and boy eas I impressed. Absolutely delicious wood fired neopolitan pizza. I went out on a limb and tried one I wouldn't normally go with, and boy, was I happy. It was so delicious. Gorgonzola cheese with apple and balsamic vinegar.

I’ve had good experiences here in the past but last night I had a 45+ minute wait (and I’m being conservative here) for a couple of takeout pizzas, while others who arrived later were served. Turns out they neglected to tell me the pizzas were ready, even though I was SITTING RIGHT THERE having a pint, so they were nice and lukewarm (and sparse on toppings compared to previous visits) when I finally got them….

Google
Flavorful, chewy crust! Unique pizza and toppings. So delicious! I was traveling through ORegon and decided to look up Eugene's top rated pizza place and decided on this wonderful establishment hidden in an urban neighborhood. It was worth the detour. I ordered ahead and it was ready for me. I enjoyed the artful bathroom, too! I ordered a custom pizza and would have wanted 2 more toppings but it only allowed 5 and cheese options counted as 1. I enjoyed the home-made meatballs althought they were not applied generosity and left me craving about 20% more. Same with the sauce. What was there was delicious, but I would have appreciated a more heavy application of toppings, personally. Wonderful flavors! I also ordered the puff bread and olive tapenade. Yum!! That portion was perfect. The bread is probably pizza dough which is a bit like an extra chewy na'an in texture but saltier in flavor.

Google
Outstanding, authentic Italian cuisine. Best true Italian style pizza that I have found in Eugene. Sadie isn’t too heavy. They don’t have pizzas with 10 different toppings. Thin-crust cooked to perfection. Very reasonable prices.

Yelp
Finally got around to trying the pizza here, it was really solid! Prices are fair I'd say, service was fairly quick too for how busy it was. You can do table service or just order with the qr code which I prefer. Vibes were very casual in here, lots of parking too. Now onto the pizza, we got a margherita pizza and a 3 meat pizza. I'd give the margherita 5/5 and the 3 meat a 4/5, the pepperoni was just super greasy, but the rest of it was good. It was about $30 for 2 pizzas but personally if it's just 2 of you, you could probably get away with just 1 pizza. I was super stuffed and we ended up taking most of it to go. Maybe next time I'll try a different pizza but the margherita was very solid.

Yelp
Came here as it was highly recommended to us. They have plenty of seating for small and large parties. There are a few parking spots and street parking for free. The staff was friendly and service was quick. You can order with someone or right from your phone. We tried the she's my cherry pie. It's advertised as having Slightly Spiced Cherry Chutney, Shredded and Fresh Mozzarella, Prosciutto di Parma, EVOO and Chevre. Finished with Mike's Hot Honey. The spiced cherry chutney was neither chutney nor spiced. Instead they are dried cherries. We felt the overall combination was kind of lacking flavor and dry. Perhaps if it was actually a chutney with some pop of flavor like goat cheese it would have been more exciting. I would try them again and go for someone else to see if this was possibly just a 1 off.

Yelp
Creative pizza recipes. However, unfortunately the crust was hard (too tough to chew) and had a burnt outer. We sat ourselves, poured our own waters, ordered for ourselves using the QR code menu, and checked ourselves out. Besides tossing our food at us, and to-go boxes after asking three times, the staff couldn't be bothered. And the bad attitude that we were met with left no question about that. The ambience includes crammed seating, a loud space and dirty tables going ignored. We should've stayed home

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
The pizza is good. Not a huge fan of the QR code menus. I would give 5 stars but your staff should really inform people that it's an extra charge to add something to a pizza and not just assume a customer is ok with paying. I asked for hot honey and arugula to be added to my pizza (I didn't know it was 6 dollars extra since it has been free in the past). One of the servers tried to automatically charge my card which was kinda odd. Staff should let customers know if an addition is extra.

Yelp
Amazing! Best GF pizza crust in town! No doubt! Drinks were solid. Good beer selection. Really attentive staff. The place is clean and homey. This is our regular stop for Pizza and we will be back!

Yelp
Eugene's best pizza place is now even better with the addition of this new larger location. Plenty of seating indoors and in the covered outdoor section, the excellent menu is the same as their other location. There's a full bar with excellent beer offerings. The Caesar salad is to die for. When it comes to the pizza we love the Brooklyn and the surprise unique cherry pie. Everything here is remarkable.
google avatar

Yelp
Came and got some good pizza from this small local chain in Eugene. Hey, Neighbor! has a few locations, including this one in Friendly. It pretty much is like a bar that has pizza. Beers and cocktails. The pizza has a few plant based options. After looking for pizza place, we came here. It's one of the local favorites, and most people were saying good things about it. They weren't that busy when we got there. For an independent artisan pizza place, it's actually affordable. It's about $12 for a large. We got the Marinara Pizza. Classic. This comes with crushed tomatoes, garlic, oregano, olio verde, and pecorino Romano. Substitute vegan mozzarella for another buck. The pizza was hot and fresh. Good place for local pizza and other stuff like beer and bruschetta. It's located in the neighborhood of Friendly. There's plenty of options for meat eaters and vegetarians.

Yelp
Some people hate this but I like ordering from an online menu, never stuck waiting fir the check! Pizza was amazing, like really hood, sat outside on the patio. Thank gawd I do t live close cause I'd be there everyday, just has those pizza and a beer in the neighborhood vibes. Happy hour deals were solid, Marg pizza 9 bucks, yes please!
google avatar

Ari L.

Yelp
Easily one of the best pizza spots in Eugene! The house-made fennel sausage is a delicious addition to any pizza and even the simple favorites like the Margherita and Pepperoni are delicious! I've also had the Patate-Pesto-Pecorino for a nice vegetarian option and it's really amazing how the flavors come together! This location is decently sized, with several booth tables, some higher 4-tops, and specific bar and outdoor seating. The servers are happy to take your order if you like, but there are also QR codes and online payment for seamless service. It can get very busy and loud in the evenings, so late afternoon is best if you'd like to avoid a wait and eat quickly. Everyone is very kind and seems to care about serving great food. Final tip: the pomegranate no-jito is to die for :)
google avatar

John W.

Yelp
Good parking, great service, and delicious pizzas. The Brooklyn pizzas were a great combination of fennel sausage, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. Cooked just right crispy. They have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks.
google avatar

Wella A.

Yelp
I highly recommend the delicious meatball sandwich. Encased in a crusty exterior otherwise soft bun, the well seasoned beef with chunky tomato sauce and topped with melted cheese satisfied my palate and body. I opted for the Ceasar salad, gloriously mixed with shaved parmesan. I left nourished.

Sandie D.

Yelp
First time visit; it was a tad before 5pm service was excellent. Pretty much outside seating and if was nice out. Pizza was first rate, crust chewy and crust fire singed perfectly. Lots of options to choose from and we will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Super good vibe, like many places now you need to scan the code and order from your phone. It's fast and convenient but unlike some I was felt welcomed and helped with anything I needed. The pizza is what you want to hear about I know, I know... Fabulous crust, simple legit sauce, fresh mozzarella. Everything else is just icing on the pie. The bake is really nice with Char on the beautiful bubbles in the light airy crust that has just the right chew. We had a Caesar salad that was good too. Reasonable prices for the ongoing struggle that operators have currently with prices of goods. We try and drink and tip well to help the awesome staff and owners. Bonus being near a few other favorites. We did have to wipe down rain water from our tables and seats but hey it's Eugene. Well done Hey Neighbor!

Morgan M.

Yelp
We had an adult birthday party and the servers were very accommodating and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their pizzas and they had a good cocktail menu. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
This place was amazing!! The food, ambiance, and service were awesome. Will definitely come back!!

Yelp
Best wood fire pizza! Tastes like what you can get on the east coast. My husband LOVED his pizza and good beer. He got a make your own with pepperoni, basil and sausage. I got gluten free with vegan cheese. Definitely the best gluten free and vegan cheese I've been able to find and I've tried a LOT of them. Highly recommend if you appreciate bubbly wood fired crust. Don't expect the GF crust to be like that but that's just GF for ya.

Yelp
I was staying in Eugene for the week and wanted something local and stumbled on this awesome pizza joint. I can't get over their margarita style pizza- so good I actually had to come back the next day again; pairs best with a cider back at the hotel room! Service was quick and friendly. They were busy for a Wednesday night, but my order was still made on time. I wish I had the opportunity to hang and enjoy a drink too- the inside was inviting and bar looked like a great spot. I went to the neighborhood location on the west side of Eugene. . There is another location on the UofO campus, 'east side'. Must visit!

Yelp
This location is kind of in our neighborhood, but I go out of my way to order here for pick up and to go in on Saturday afternoons for a pizza and beer. So take out... Is always ready when they say it's gonna be ready and in nine months of getting pizza there they haven't screwed up my order one single time even when it's complicated because we're having a party and everybody wants something different on a pizza. I have shown up a couple of times and they gave me a free beer while I was waiting. Who does that? That is some fantastic customer service! Not a leader of beer but like 3/4 of a pint for the time that you have kind of waiting on pizza and making it so there's no issue getting home with said pizza. The beer is cold. The pizza is great. Bathrooms are spotless, full bar, really attentive staff. When dining in, I like the outdoor seating in the summer, and I like that the walls open up for kind of an airy dining experience. This very quickly became our favorite pizza spot on the west side of Eugene! Prices aren't bad at all, especially for the quality and quantity of food you get. I wholeheartedly recommend this pizza joint!

Yelp
We just had a lovely time at Hey Neighbor's new location. The new place is clean and inviting. There is way more inside seating than the other location by campus and a convenient parking lot that is shared with Everyone's Market convenience store. We shared a Cesar salad and two pizzas among three adults and a kid. We got the Brooklyn and Sprouts & Snouts pizzas. Both were great. The Brooklyn had tomato sauce that tasted very fresh along with sausage and red onion. The Snouts and Sprouts had thick-cut bacon, Brussels sprouts, roasted red onion, and a balsamic drizzle. The red onions were maybe a little burnt. Lots of good options, including a vegan pizza and a pizza with clams. We had more than one person help us and everyone was friendly and helpful. We'll be back soon!

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place. Maybe tonight was a bad night. Waited 1 hour to get food. Seemed understaffed. The worst part was loud, death metal music playing constantly. I asked 5 tables around me and they all were very unhappy with the music. "Unbearable", one man said. "Unlistenable" another said. I asked the server to switch it or turn it down. She did turn it down but with a frown on her face. The music made the place unbearable to be in. Everyone else agreed. It seemed like they didn't want us there. June 30, 2024. So disappointing.

Yelp
Incredible fresh pizza, you can taste the difference. Really good cocktails as well. Heated outdoor seating was great

Joe B.

Yelp
Ambiance was great, wonderful little spot. Had high hopes, menu looked amazing. Even presented great when she brought them out. The bombo was decent, but most of the pizza we got was pretty bland. Especially the apple one. And, the server came by and dropped our food off and never came back, never checked on us or asked about drinks/refills, And with the tough chewy pizza crust, a drink refresh would have helped. Won't be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Finally a clean, well run, friendly pizza joint has opened in the Jefferson-Westside neighborhood. We already knew HNP was really good after establishing themselves over on 19th street in the East UofO Campus area (across the street from Beppe's). Well this location is even better! Same great pizza and atmosphere, but more room to roam around and chill if needed.. Absolutely check it out if you haven't yet! You won't be disappointed!!

Christine S.

Yelp
Delicious! Both pizzas were spot on! Not sure if there were tons of orders ahead of us, but it took a while to get our pizzas; however, both were amazing, so worth the wait
google avatar

Thom C.

Yelp
The dough is what makes this the best craft pizza in Eugene. The light airy dough makes this place impossible to eat just one slice. Pizzas are personal size so if with a party of 3 or more 3-4 pies isn't that hard to finish . Good beers selection and the salads are delightful . Both locations are fun

Yanling W.

Yelp
So nice to have this superb pizza restaurant in the neighborhood, walking to the place on the beautiful fall evening last Wednesday, greeted by friendly staffs as usual. Outside seatings are perfect with the heater above, the drink came quickly and our pizzas fellow, nothing beats the crusty crust piping hot pizzas! Highly recommend (she's my) cherry pie for adventurous people, Brooklyn's alway good.
google avatar

Alexis M.

Yelp
Soooo good! Soooo good! I don't even know how to explain it. I'm gluten free and finding truly good gluten free pizza is impossible. This was absolutely amazing. I got the Bombo and it was amazing. I have never had hot honey on a pizza and it was such a great addition. My family, who aren't gluten free got the Carnero, the Melanzana, and a build your own and they all loved it too. For appetizers we got the asparagus and and prosciutto and but were great. There is a wait and it takes awhile for the pizza to come out but it was worth it. Definitely go! You won't regret it.
google avatar

Glenda L.

Yelp
The couscous salad & pizza were fantastic and will definitely be eating from here again. Would like to try more things on the menu for sure! Service was a bit odd. I wouldn't say it was terrible but also not great. If you're going to have people seat themselves and also order on their phones, the least that could happen is some sort of communication or a sign when you enter that tells you to do so, especially for first timers. At least from our experience, it seemed the other people dining in felt the same because the vibe in there was not great. Not the end of the world though, got it figured out & ordered. Just an odd experience to walk into.

Cooper W.

Yelp
The pizza was delicious and vibe was good. Not the fastest to make, but worth the wait. Record visiting then getting some ice cream down the street.
google avatar

Richard D.

Yelp
Pizza was good if you like thin crust. Had trouble tracking order. Staff was very caring.

Dylan J.

Yelp
My FAVORITE pizza in Eugene by far- I recommend the friendly location because it's always less busy than campus (and more room to sit)!

Leah O.

Yelp
Food is super yummy experience and service is very nice and calm for a casual date or a nice family setting. Definitely suggest this place!!

tommy f.

Yelp
Great pizza !!!! Great service. Definitely will return.... Thin crust how I like it. We got 3 pizzas for 4 people.
google avatar

Sam K.

Yelp
I went back for two days in a row for dinner. Had to try the pizzas I didn't get to yesterday. Got the Caesar salad too, nice seasoned croutons. Had the Nutella calzone again and Jesus Christ it was good. The hot honey really works. A slow wait time, about 50 minutes for three pizzas. Music was an odd choice compared to last night, a bit grating. Great place tho, my fav pizza in Oregon.
google avatar

Dick L.

Yelp
Great pizza with unusual but great toppings... even the standards take on a specialness
google avatar

Natalie A.

Yelp
Deeeeeelicious pizza and beer on tap. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was perfectly attentive and friendly.

Dave B.

Yelp
Great pizza. Second best Neapolitan style in Eugene after Osteria DOP. I like the atmosphere and location here
google avatar

Yelp
I've eaten at Hey Neighbor Friendly 3 times in the last few weeks, some things are good and others not so much. First off tell us to "wait to be seated" or "seat ourselves" instead of leaving us standing at the door looking around and no waitstaff saying a word to us. Pizza is good, however if you order anything "special" it definitely isn't special. A 5.00 upcharge for gluten free crust is a bit much because it's a premade piece of cardboard. And all 3 times I've ordered the toppings are SPARCE as well as the cheese. This is not the case if you order a regular pizza. Also if you order the vegan cheese I swear to god you get 1/4 cup on the ENTIRE pizza. If you're going to offer these options try to do it justice...I have had better frozen pizzas (Tattooed Chef rocks it). They are a bit sparse on all toppings with a wide strip of crust along the sides of the pizza...come on, go to the edge!! Pizzas take an inordinate amount of time to come out, like a loooooong time. I've been there when it's busy and not busy and it doesn't make a difference, be prepared to wait and wait and maybe even ask if they forgot you. It's a solid 3 star but is going to have to do a lot better to move up in the rankings.

Bj G.

Yelp
Great pizza, friendly service but the beer was anything but cold. Will be going back for takeout but certainly not for cold beer and pizza
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
By far, my most favorite neighborhood pizza joint. Great service and great food. You MUST have the Caesar Salad. Best in town!

Jessica S.

Yelp
One of my favorite pizza places in town! Ended up going to Hey Neighbor two days in a row because of my love for their pizza! Was very excited to see that a second location was opened up and even more excited that it was in a comfy and cute spot. There was plenty of parking available, a quiet street to enjoy your pizza on, cozy outdoor seating with a covered porch, and a nicely decorated indoor space as well. My favorite pizza so far is the Funghi pizza- highly recommend. We also got to try out the clams on a pizza for the first time with their Vongola pie. Both were very unique and delicious.
google avatar

Laurie P.

Yelp
Best artisan pizza I've found. And I've really been searching! Love the newest location on Jefferson.

Jerry J.

Yelp
Great pizza!!! Come eat here!!! Yum, Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.

Melissa T.

Yelp
Everything! Food was amazing and the service was right on. We have missed having a neighborhood pizza restaurant and my son said you have to try this place. Was not disappointed!

Benjamin ..

Yelp
Like most of you, I have had thousands of pizzas over the years including some great ones in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, and Italy. I have to say, this place serves an outstanding pie - better than 95% of pizzas you will find anywhere on the planet. It all starts with the crust - well proofed dough makes for just the right chewiness and HN never burns the edges black like so many places these days. The sauces are marvelous. I haven't tried them all but they match them perfectly to each pizza and I'm a huge fan of their spicy and regular tomato sauces (I'm traditional when it comes to sauce - red only for the most part for me but I will eventually break down and try their pesto). The toppings are minimalistic, in keeping with the light nature of the crust, but perfectly paired and balanced. The margarita has lovely mozzarella and just the right amount of basil. The salsiccia has amazing flavors of sweet and spicy. The pizzas here are light, non-greasy, never soggy, and just so delicate and delightful, a lot like the pizzas in Naples, Positano, etc. The place is bustling inside with a good bar, outside seating for people with pets who don't mind sort of siting in a parking lot, etc. Very highly recommended.

Jared W.

Yelp
The last two times we've been there it took over 45 minutes to get a basic pizza. Most recently the crust was burnt. Service is mediocre. Pizza is good but a bit overpriced for the size.

Rosalie M.

Yelp
Placed an online order for pickup today and regret not placing it for the other location. It was my first time ordering from this one, and my pizza was charred. The onions were scorched black and bitter, as was a lot of the crust. Ultimately, we didn't even eat it. I don't get why they wouldn't let me know there'd been an issue and I'd have to wait and instead chose to box this up. In the past I've had no issues with food at Hey Neighbor, but after having issues with service at the other location and food at this one, I'm hesitant to go back.
google avatar

N G.

Yelp
They are not afraid to try some wacky combination of toppings, that's for sure. They make thin crust pizzas which works really great for their margarita pizza(recommend!), but not for any heavy topping options. Personally found the BBQ cherry feta combo to be really weird. Overall a solid spot
google avatar

Marie C.

Yelp
great choice of toppings & sauce. one of the best pizzas in eugene. reasonably priced for the size so it's a great value. i plan on making this a regular pizza stop. full flavor of wood fired pizza, perfect crust & amount of toppings. now, if they only delivered! and before i forget, the service was what i'd hoped for in a one of a kind, neighborhood pizza place.
