Best Facial -- When'you last practice self-care?!
What's Self-care? To take care of your needs, even if you take care of others, like your family, parents and have a job.
Some Minority women with limited resources, don't buy themselves clothes, nor get hair cuts, nor get massages, nor go on vacations -- all to love and support their families. We are taught that it's our role in life to give all and leave nothing for ourselves. But it's time to change that -- it time to take care of ourselves, as well.
Review: You arrive and wait for your technician. They comes to take to their booth where there's a chair. The chair is very similar to a dental chair.
At this point, you've already filled a survey about your skin and what you are seeking for this visit. They use a high powered light mirror to examine your skin, to capture a true understanding of the "state of your skin".
The gentle and beautifully fragrant products are selected. Then the multi-step process of conditioning, cleansing and treating your skin begins. After, my skin felt like a million dollars.
The technician was wonderful, friendly and very knowledgeable. It was an enjoyable experience, I learned so much. I would definitely recommend this Hey Day, for a "treat yourself moment."
I'm advocating that its not selfish, it's necessary. Caretakers sacrifice so much at times they get rundown, their appearance gets worn down, and even their health can suffer. So in short, anything that takes care of your physical and mental well-being is important-- take a long bath, travel, a massage, a special meal, yoga etc. Travel often, be safe, live and eat deliciously.
Examples: Taking a walk, Getting a facial, Going to see a movie, Not over working, Eating a healthy diet. My favorite-- taking a trip/a vacation
