Beautiful boutique toy store for those looking for high quality toys that are educational as well as fun for that special child, and a gorgeous unique line of fashionable clothes for your baby, toddler, child, grandchild, or gift for a special occasion. The staff are lovely and very helpful.

I visited the store in Saturday it’s beautiful and first time to see a toy store so well organized. Lovely place to purchase a gift or toys for your kids. I bought a few items for my toddler. The only suggestion it would be nice to have a sort of if cart/ shopping bag. Customer service was phenomenal the girl at the registration was very smiley and friendly. Definitely will be back .

I love this store! My husband and I take our niece here to buy dinosaurs and other fun toys. We always feel welcomed at the store, even when we bring in a stroller. I also regularly purchase Tea Collection and Pink Chicken for our niece. If I mention it is a gift, they wrap the items for me. Plus, the fact that they regularly have a sale rack is my favorite! ❤️

Delightful toy store smack in the middle of San Marco area. They have a lovely selection of toys for all ages, some educational, some simply entertainment. They also have a small selection of clothing that is quite darling. Is a small local business, and the staff are exemplary.

They have a decent variety of toys, but they all seemed a bit overpriced. They have a limited supply of clothing too. We tried to find something for our 1 year old girl but they only carry dresses in her size (we don’t need any dresses. I don’t recommend buying a gift for anyone from here unless you plan on giving the gift right after buying it. Their return policy is very strict - we received a clothing gift and tried to return it, completely new with tags, never worn, but they refused to let us return it because it was more than 30 days after the purchase date.

An amazing local store! There are barely any toy stores around now, so I was stoked when I came across this gem. There are so many options between toys, books, and clothes. All of the products are of really good quality and sustainability. I love how I can find toys made in the USA! Also, the owner is so welcoming and helpful. I’ll definitely be recommending this store.

I received some gifts for my soon-to-arrive baby girl and they are adorable! The shop is filled with unique items and the customer service was great! Definitely worth stopping in for a special gift!

I love this shop! The owner is super sweet and helpful and the selection is top notch. They have something for the littlest babies to coolest tweens to enjoy. There is a great mix of price points as well - you can get a special “big” present or spend $10 for a birthday party. I also love how they have a selection of clothes as well. Please support this treasure of a store in San Marco! It’s a gem.

Fun, colorful, lovely store which has an energy within, encouraging you to get in touch with your inner child. My niece and I love to visit this store in the San Marco area. We enter and the sales people greet us with a loud hello and smile. My niece even gets a hug from Jessie. We love to visit the adorable puppets in the middle of the store then break away to cover our favorites. From glow in the dark slime, to stuffed unicorns, to charms, jewelry, games, kites, coloring books and so on... we make our way throughout the store and choose items Aidan can earn by doing her chores, eating vegetables, and brushing her teeth. (I don't know if it's good parenting to bribe children by offering gifts to do things they should do. However, I am an Aunt, so I get a pass on best parenting practices.) Even if we don't buy anything, we love to hang out in the store and look at all the toys. If you are taking a child to a San Marco movie in the afternoon; I suggest a movie followed by a visit to the toy store, then lunch at the loop, ending with a visit to one of the parks in the area. It works for us.

This children's store is so adorable. They have lots of toys, games and even clothes for tiny children/babies. Picked up a gift for my 5 year old nephew and they wrapped it for free. Love it!

I called Heyday this morning to ask a question, and the sales associate was very short and rude! You work at a toy store! Relax! I took my business elsewhere.

I wanted to like this place being new to town with a new baby. Yesterday morning my interaction with the owner and sales associate was very discouraging. After working in sales and the service industry for over 15 years, I left the store feeling deflated and dismayed over how I was treated. I spent $100 on toys and 2 pairs 9-12 month old size pajamas this week as as I wanted to support a local business over buying online! When I put the pajamas on my 9 month old they were so small that they gave her indentations on her skin. Troubled, I went Heyday to have a friendly chat and see what could be done. When the sales associate went to the back to get the owner, she walked out and the first thing she said to me was "I can't return those there's no tags!" so I felt she was only thinking about herself and not the me, the customer. She suggested I should gift the small pajamas to a friend with a younger baby. It would've been very helpful if the return policy had been explained to me upon my considerable purchase and not thrown in my face when I was unhappy. No offer of even a small discount was made to keep me as a customer. Very disappointing for this shopper who braved going to a local store during a pandemic. 2 stars for inventory selection.

Stopped by to get my toy for tots purchase for an Yelp event. The store is packed from top to bottom and in every crevice with the most remarkable finds in toys. Some unique brands and so many creative ideas. They offer cute gift wrapping for your purchases while always offering kind service with a smile. Not sure what to buy just ask and they have great ideas for all ages and genders..

I ran across this pleasant toy shop after a run in San Marco. It had a nostalgic feel and was so colorful. I absolutely loved that it had more than the usual toys you'd see at Target or Walmart. Everything felt more original than that, but was good quality. I didn't see any barbies or hot wheels, or whatever the kids were into these days, but all the kids were still loving everything. They also had some really cute clothing items. The staff was friendly even in the hectic post-race environment. If you are looking for a unique toy, definitely check here!

Thank goodness we found Heyday! We just moved into the neighborhood a month ago, and we were looking for an independent children's store to get our niece and nephews the best, locally-sourced books & toys. Not only did we find the perfect Christmas gifts, but we NAILED the gifts this year. The sales associate was so helpful and led us to where we needed to be. For children ages 0-3, their back room has an incredible selection of toys, blankets, teethers, and more. For children older than 3 years, the rest of the store is stocked. She told us that new inventory arrives in January, which is perfect timing for our nephews' birthdays in February and March! Yay for Heyday! See y'all again soon!

Any time we have needed a gift we came here to support small. It was our go to. But after today's experience I can confidently say I won't ever be back and will be telling friends and family to do the same. My husband and two small kids were in the back looking around while my 4 year old was at our feet playing with two dinosaurs and a truck (we were shopping for his friends birthday gift). The owner approached us, takes the truck away from my child and says they're in the way and that we need to make room for people to walk through. Mind you the store had one other customer in at the time who was at the front of the shop. I don't let my children wander and I would've been very aware if someone was trying to get by. She then says "I'll take the two dinosaurs to the front" to which I replied, "no, he is still looking at those." She then said "well it is Saturday so we want to keep the aisles clear." We we're not in the way at all and my kids were not making a mess in any way. I was so caught off guard. If you don't want children looking/playing with the gifts that they're picking out then don't run a toy store for children. Also, the brands I love that are available in shop can easily be purchased online. I am so disappointed in the experience we had today and will be switching to other shops/online.

Outstanding service! Our nephew was in a nearby children's hospital and the staff at Heyday graciously agreed to build & deliver a gift basket (same day) to cheer him up. We live in Philadelphia so they made toy suggestions by phone based on his age/interests. The store does not currently offer delivery but went above & beyond to help us. Incredibly grateful! Thank you!!!

Nice store. The return policy is odd. A store credit for items that you pay cash for? Returned unopened unused with tags on within 30 days? That's ridiculous

This place is so adorable!! I was in town for a wedding and needed to grab something to bring back home to my daughter. I ended up finding several unique toys, some shoes, and a dress for her. The employees were so helpful, and the selection was great.

This store is everything a good quality children's store should be: there are gift options available at all price points (even sub $5!) and the items available are all well curated and high quality. Staff is encouraging and welcoming of families shopping together and the train table in the back is a true delight! We love Heyday and can't wait to visit again.

High quality toys and high quality customer service! the ladies at the shop are always helpful and offer great advice. Never pressured to buy something but still feel appreciated for coming in. I shop here instead of Green Alligator ever since the stuck-up owner grew a nasty reputation for being rude to customers. This is the place! I recommend the "indestructible" books, as well as the rubber felt toy cars. AND they have CLOTHES!!! ADORABLE clothes!

I really do like this store and would love to give it more start but to me their selection is limited. They have a lot of typical toy store items but I also feel like they are lacking a bunch of common toy store items as well. The nice thing about this store is that it is very open and airy so it is easy to look around. But each time I've gone in and asked for things, they never seem to sell the simple items I was looking for. For example, we buy a lot of Calico Critters, most toy stores would have a wide range of cheap (little figurines) to pricy (houses, stores, etc) items. But they have very few to choose from. Another lacking area is dolls. They do have plush ones for babies in the back. But not anything for a little bit older. All their products are quality items, I love their brands, but I just feel like the store is lacking overall. And the lady who is always (not the owner) there is very helpful but she is SO focused on "what is the child's age?", she will kindly walk you around and show you things. But sometimes it is nice to just look. I will be honest I often buy items that are either younger or older if it is the perfect item. This isn't as much a negative review but more I really do like this store but feel like it is lacking.

Love this toy (and more) store! Have toddler twins and always find items they'll love. It is a reasonably priced, carefully curated children's store (how often can you say that?!) of American and European made toys, crafts, clothes! Great for gifts! Fun store!
