HG Coal Fired Pizza (Warrington)

It's crazy to me how they let the gumball machine get as dirty as it is. Especially when it's the first thing you see walking in. My pizza tasted burnt because it was. The cheese steak was not too bad but the bread was very soft to where It felt soggy without even being wet

An excellent pizza. Some of the best I've had around Bucks. Every ingredient was high-quality and fresh. The Margherita coal fired was absolutely worth it. Plus, the employees were extremely nice.

Regular Pizza is delicious but I would stay away from the speciality ones. I order cheesesteak pizza and it was just steak with unmelted slices of American on top. Most places mix the American and the mozzarella while making the regular pizza and then put steak on top.

Customer service was excellent. I called to edit my order after I did an online order. They were quick and efficient. Food was ready when I got there. I even grabbed some bagels for tomorrow morning. Pizza is delicious and crisp like we like it. Definitely recommend!! I want to try the wings next time for sure!

Frankly, was expecting more from HG’s with the “beer wall” and restaurant size. However, it’s basically a serve yourself pizza place. With the exception of the large seating area, it’s no different than any other neighborhood pizza place. It is a fend-for-yourself ordeal. Person at register didn’t know how the beer wall worked so had to get someone else to help with that. Unfortunately, they don’t have the volume of diners to keep all 32 taps active. So, only 16 were active and even those weren’t moving enough product. Tried to pour a Lagunitas but it was mostly foam. Just went and got a can of Voodoo Ranger Juicy Hazy from the beer cooler. Ordered fries, small Half Moon Bay pizza and small Sausage, Pepper and Onions pizza. Fries were cooked well. Pizzas were good but not great. Surprisingly, the Broccoli Rabe was prepared well but, in my opinion, the Half Moon Bay pizza needs more red sauce.

This place is so good. Idk why they aren't everywhere!! The amount of choices for slices is unbelievable!! Taco pizza, chicken parm pizza, app pizza, yes please!!!! Go here for amazing options of great coal fired pizza!

I work in the area and I feel like we've tried every pizza joint in the area at this point. HG Pizza Warrington is my favorite. Super consistent, great sauce, crust and toppings and super friendly staff. 10/10 would recommend!

The place is good for a quick bite to eat. I am a big cheese steak fan and the salads and manicotti. I either take out or eat in depending on my wims. You watch TV and relax. Seats are comfortable. Service is quick, weather your eating in or taking out. It's my go to pizza place. Convenient to my house. Pizza is pretty good. Would highly recommend them.

Pizza and cheese fries are the best I have found in Bucks County. I moved here from Northeast Philly 7 years ago and have been looking for a good pizza place. Finally found it!!!

The pizza is great, but the person cooking it who I believe is the owner or at least the manager does not wash his hands before he puts the parmesan cheese and the basil on at the end. It would be different if the pizza was about to be cooked and killed all of his germs. When it's out of the oven already and he doesn't wash his hands it's a different story. Besides the pizza was burned this time. It's the second time I've watched him either handle money or get off the phone and not wash his hands. Then he argues with me and tells me that he didn't touch any money.

This coal fired pizza might have just become my new favorite pizza. Absolutely incredible. Flavors were perfect. Sauce was fresh. Mushrooms out of this world. Perfect amount of dough to toppings ratio. 9.1 on the One Bite scale.

The pizza is great, the wings are great, I've never had buffalo sauce as theirs, everything is good! Only place where I get my pizza and wings

The traditional coal fire pizza is simply one of the best pizzas around. The service is outstanding and staff always pleasant, I'm only in Warrington area 1-2 a month (job) but when I am my wifey reminds me to order a coal fire to go. Keep up the great work ! HG is legit'

I have been going to HG since they opened because they always made a great pie. However, the last 3 times I went the pizza was not up to par. They are skimping on the ingredients. Not enough cheese or sauce. Last night's pizza was terrible. Even my 23-year-old noticed how dry it was. I ordered a white pie with tomatoes and broccoli 3 weeks ago and the veggies were sparse. It seems they are cutting corners now.

Our first time trying HG Coal Fired Pizza! It DID NOT DISSAPOINT! The Coal fired wings were sooo delicious beautifully cooked in their unique 800 degree coal fire oven! Then sauced with delicious Mango Habanero (mild) and Sweet Thai Chili sauce (spicy) We loved the Neapolitan style HG Special: fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, and pecorino cheese! Alexia: Zuchini, tomato, roasted eggplant, mozzarella and pecorino cheese New Haven: Long hot peppers, ricotta cheese, sopressata, sausage, and mozzarella DELISH

The margarita pizza was a little doughy, but the cheese pizza was nice and crispy. Overall good pizza a little pricey in my opinion.

Good coal fired pizza and wings. They also have a wine wall and local drinks from the surrounding area.

My wife and I love this place and it's definitely our go to. Their margaritas coal fire pizza is to die for and their chicken finger wrap is amazing. My food is always hot and I never have to wait long at all. The customer service is excellent as well.

HG coal fired pizza in Warrington is absolutely phenomenal. I moved to Bucks from Philadelphia and this is the best pizza I have had so far since moving here. My standards are pretty high and I suggest ordering the ( coal fired) version when you order. It is a different level than just the standard pie.

Had a party yesterday with 30 people. Ordered 9 Coal Fired Pizzas (Pepperoni, Meat Lovers, Veggie, Margherita, BBQ Chicken and Plain. All were delicious as usual. We have been using HG for several years and all of our guests give rave reviews. Many of them now use HG as their go-to pizza place.

One of the worst deliveries we have ever received. Everything we did receive arrived cold. Called Slice who contacted the restaurant. Restaurant stated they had the item and would send it out. Because, yes, I want an item that has been done for an hour and a half to be delivered. They said they would give us 15% off. Told them to keep it and credit it, gave issues with that as well. Finally got the item credited, but they would not credit the tip or delivery fees. Not a good way to run a business. We will never order through you or the ap again. By the way, the food we did receive was all cold and had to be reheated. Was not even good. Do not order from them

The first time we went here, we tried a Margarita coal-fired pizza. The crust was thin, it didn't have a ton of cheese which I prefer, the flavor was good, and it was cooked just right. The second time we also got the same pizza, but it was undercooked and the dough was especially raw in the middle--not good. It was disappointing. We won't rush to go back because of the inconsistency.

We use to always order from here then we discovered other places. We figured we would give them a shot today. The pizza arrived messy and misshaped. How does somebody see this box it up and ship it out? Obviously quality control is not important. Pizza also arrived cold and we are down the street.

Ordered Pick-Up for Coal Fire Wings (hot) and it was so delicious. The meat of the wings was falling off the bone and was so tender! I have tried their regular wings and pizzas here before and they were really great too. Our Pick-Up was ready in time and the restaurant staff were wearing masks to follow COVID guidelines. Would recommend!

The food quality has declined here quite a bit during the pandemic time. Both wings and pizza are mediocre at best. The pizza used to be very fresh and less oily. The service has been decent, but the value is no longer there.

Pizza was okay but what's not okay is the fact they don't recycle here. I came in and got a single 23 ounce beer and a slice of pizza on my way to get a massage at massage envy in Warrington.. I will not be back for the fact that they sell beer in cans and bottles but do not recycle, and also because they had foxnews on 2 of the 6 channels in the main room.. but I guess the two go together. Also their WiFi sucks

I have been going here for a long while now and the food is always pretty solid. I wouldn't recommend ordering here for delivery, took almost an hour and a half and everything showed up Lukewarm at best.

Besides Instagram photos perhaps I've never found myself particularly in awe of a pizzas appearance. Walking into hg coal fired pizzas for the first time it may have been love at first sight. Their display of various slices at the front counter was impressive to say the least. Each pie packed with generous amounts of mouthwatering toppings. From classic options to the inventive and adventurous like their philly cheese steak and taco pizza they have it all. After ordering from their wonderful staff I almost wish it wasn't such a short wait. Watching the cooks prepare each pie was like watching art being made. But now the real test had arrived. The taste test. Each type of pizza tasted even better than it looked. So If you're tired of mediocre pizza that's just okay,let this pizza heaven restore your food faith.

Not only is the food consistently yummy, but the staff is delightful!! Just ask, they can make any kind of pizza you want - mine is white, NO garlic, coal oven w veggies (all different kinds). Thanks for taking good care of us!!

Food here was gross took forever to come out, tables weren't clean had to move to a different table and they were under staffed. Worst experience ever!

Horrible counter service after telling her three times my sandwich was for here walked up to the counter and it was finally ready and once again for the fourth time

This is our go-to place for ordering out. We also go to sit and relax and have an easy dinner. The whole family likes it. The food is good pizza joint food. And the wood fired pizza is really good and I'm not of pizza person. For delivery of food always gets here fast and it still hot. Eating in the place is very handicap friendly and plenty of tables and booths. I always have lots of pizzas ready to heat up a slice.

It is the Pizza by which all other pizza is judged. Seriously thats what we call it. The coal fired pizza is hands down the best pizza I have ever had esp the meat lovers and the New Yorker.

Food pretty good. They use to have the best garlic knots ever but I have ordered about six times since Jan 2021 and they have been old and hard everyone. Sucks cause they were so good it would sometimes be the only reason I ordered. I even asked the onetime for fresh ones and they were hard and old. What happen guys?

Went here after a friend recommended we try. It's been a long time since I have been impressed by a pizza place. I am impressed with this place. Great tasting coal fire baked pizza is fabulous. Great service as well. The place is clean and inviting. Wonderful experience. Will be back again!!

I love this place, my family and I come here all the time with my family and their pizza is fantastic. The deli rolls are fantastic my favorite is the spinach and ricotta one with a side of marinara. Although the margarita pizza is a close second.

Not bad at all. Certainly not the best I've had, but most definitely the best in this area. I've been on a hunt for a quality sandwich since I started working in this area about 4 years ago. Today I ordered a cheesesteak, expecting another gigantic disappointment. Much to my surprise, I enjoyed it. Onions were tasty. Roll was nice. Cheese was melted good. Steak was a little too chopped, but it was still noticeably steak. Thankfully, the decided not to make it resemble ground meat. I hate to sound so negative, but the food around Warrington..... well..... not good. Not good at all. I've only ordered here a handful of time, but this place has yet to let me down. PS.... The Taco Pizza is superb!!!!!

Sadly, the place has changed hands I believe? It's not my favorite now. Usually the pizza is burnt, which is sadly very upsetting considering it used to the best. We now go down the road to the other pizzeria.

Pizza was ok but temperature of the restaurant was heated to 62...outside temp was 55. Why eat at a place where you need to wear a jacket?

Very poor customer service. I ordered 2 sandwiches, chicken nuggets, onion rings and slices. 1 hr and 20 minutes to deliver. Food was completely cold. Called and was told a manager would call me back. Have you heard from him because I am still waiting.

Another wrong order, cold pizza, and double the wait time for a pick up order. I don't know why I keep going back.

Every other week or so a group of our friends get together on the weekends and order take out. This time we chose Warrington Pizza. I never had it before but my friend recommended it. He picked up the food, enough food for 6 people and all different entrees like sandwiches, wings pizza etc. Our one friends sandwich must have gotten switched with someone else's order bc it was nothing like the one she was supposed to get. When we called them they were so nice and actually DELIVERED it to our house. Even on a busy Saturday night we had it in no time. It was so nice not to have to leave the party to get it and my friend was very happy to get the sandwich she ordered. Everyone makes mistakes and that's understandable but what really sets this place apart is their customer service. Thank you again for making it right with the customer, we will definitely be ordering again soon! Plus your food is delicious!!! :)

I've been going to warrington pizza for years. Never fails to be the best pizza around!

This review is more about their delivery and customer service than the food. Last night we called in a pizza order for delivery. I gave my card for payment. First issue- guy taking the order was reciting my card numbers out loud. NO! Second issue - we were told delivery would be 30 mins. 50 minutes later I call to ask what's going on. The guy barely speaks to me, mumbles something about "he left a long time ago" and hangs up. A minute later the delivery guy calls and says he has been walking around and around our development and can't find us ( my entrance is located inside a courtyard). We go outside, find him and take the ICE cold box from his hands (below 30 degrees out). Pizza feels like it's been refrigerated. I call the shop back and tell them that even though we tipped the driver, this pizza is ice cold. He then tells me the type of pizza we ordered is never really hot?!?! No apology. Wasn't looking for a free pizza, just an acknowledgement. Never got that. So next time we try one of the new pizza shops that have opened up cause no one should pay top dollar ($21) for an ice cold pizza.

Food was horrible. Wings were dry, not enough blue cheese. Slow. Asked for them to send us a menu, they didn't. Wld not order from again.

I love their pizza. They have a big selection of gourmet pizzas. My favorite is bruschetta. Atmosphere is just your basic pizza parlor. I know their sandwiches are really good. Their chicken Italiano sandwich is really good

just had my second take out meal here, and within 3 months they got the order wrong again. Asked for a cbeesesteak pizza, got a BLT pizza becuz I was told IT WAS THE SAME PIZZA. I don't recommend this place since it was sold to another local pizza king(not italian) last may2013 forgettaboutit plz!!!!!!
