I highly recommend stopping by HG Provisions if you find yourself in the neighborhood, maybe after a long stroll through Oblation and Blick? They have a very welcoming atmosphere, with friendly, knowledgeable staff and cases that draw your eye from the moment you step inside.
We had an Italian Bomba sandwich, a Ruben, and a serving of tiramisu. The Italian comes with housemade vinaigrette that perfectly offset the cured meats on a very fluffy foccacia. My partner raved over their Ruben, and was particularly impressed with the pastrami. The tiramisu, though, was the star of the show. The marscapone was so fluffy, while the lady finger biscuits managed to retain a fair bit of crunch without skipping out on the espresso.
If eating in isn't what you're up for, they have take and bakes like lasagna, cured meats and cheeses to order, or housemade bread and all of the spreads you may desire for your charcuterie cravings. I know we are certainly planning to visit again soon.
