Where To Eat Outside In Fort Worth

"Dallas import HG Sply Co in West Bend has top-notch food and cocktails made with all-natural, responsibly-sourced ingredients, and a menu that has something for everyone, including your vegan and gluten-free paleo friends. Forget the research about water-adjacent spaces making you feel calm: you’ll know it’s true as soon as you step onto their riverfront deck. Make sure to start with HG’s take on chips and queso - a spicy, cashew milk queso topped with guac. It’s so good that you’d never suspect it was vegan." - emily smith

Service was great but food was not so good. Two dishes were great including tofu chorizo with jasmine rice & beans as sides and the HG breakfast. But the chicken kale salad & huevos rancheros were so bad we ate 2 bites & were done & we got charged for them. Kale salad had no flavor at all & kale was overdressed, chicken thigh meat had no seasoning & lots of skin/fat. Worst salad I've ever spent $19 on. Huevos rancheros had the weirdest taste. We waited 10 min for server to bring salt/pepper & salsa so food was cold by the time we ate. We were celebrating my 57 Birthday & our first time here. I would like to stop back by HG Supply for Happy Hour. Drink menu looks nice. Dessert was ok, they only have one; a chocholate chip cookie with ice cream on top. I see HG's menu has lots of healthy food with macros listed on menu. I was ask that they keep in mind that healty food can taste fantastic with some seasoning & creative additions. Some honey, lemon & garlic in kale salad wouldve helped alot. On huevos rancheros- some red RACHERO sauce wouldve made it much better and tortillas or chips. Serving it on a plate (not a bowl with sweet potato hash underneath) would've been more appealing & made it easier to eat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re in Fort Worth and looking for a place that nails both vibe and flavor, look no further than HG Sply Co. This place absolutely delivers—from the atmosphere to the food to the drinks, everything was spot-on. First off, let’s talk drinks. Their cocktail menu is creative, fresh, and loaded with flavor. Whether you’re into bold and boozy or light and refreshing, there’s something here for everyone. Best cocktails I’ve had in Fort Worth—perfectly balanced and dangerously drinkable. But the real star of the show? The Bison Burger. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, this thing is a game-changer. It’s hearty without being heavy, and the toppings just bring it all together in the most satisfying way. You can tell they use quality ingredients and actually care about how the food comes out. The service was friendly, fast, and just the right amount of laid-back. Combine that with the killer views and upbeat atmosphere, and you’ve got a place that’s ideal for a casual night out, date night, or even a weekend hang with Friends.

Google
My new favorite place! My friends have been telling me to come here, and I don’t know why but I have put it off. Now I have been twice this week. The food portion are huge and they give you so many fries! It’s RARE to find a clean ingredient restaurant that serves NORMAL food. We eat clean in our home, but I still make normal American food, it’s a breath of fresh air to find this place. Will be coming back often. Yes it’s pricey but for the quality and quantity it’s definitely worth it!

Google
We have been here a NUMBER (10+) of times. Brought several guests to share with, and have had the best experience every times. We have been here with our son, and alone for date night, and it’s been amazing each time. Julie was our waitress on this particular visit, but each waiter we have had has been wonderful. Each area of the restaurant gives a different vibe, yet much the same. This is the ONLY restaurant that we clear plates each and every time. And we eat something different frequently. The bar staff is amazing, the management is great, and the CLEAN food is worth the money. 10/10 recommend. We also had the pleasure of attending our second the sunset toast, and this time was to celebrate the engagement of an employee. What a treat! Thank you HG Supply for including us in your happiness, and consistently providing an amazing dining experience. We will be back, of course! The Parsley Family

Google
Very friendly team and delicious food. The crispy chicken sandwich was great and glad I could swap the fries for other options. Do recommend asking for some garlic aioli to add to the sandwich, makes it even better! The elderflower mimosa is very refreshing, would have both of these again any next visit. Also, if the temperature is good, ask for a table outside by the trail. Very nice and relaxing.

Google
Good food. Friendly service. A lovely atmosphere especially if you can get a table overlooking the river. Two disappointments; Don't expect butter for your toast. (farm-to-fork?) Apparently not a dairy farm, there isn't any butter in the restaurant. And HG Sply Co doesn't accept cash. No cash, no food for us at HG Sply anymore.

Google
Absolutely amazing I had just an appetizer. It was the perfect amount for a little late night snack. It was amazing! The server was awesome and the atmosphere was fabulous! Nice little view of the Trinity lit up. If I could give more than five stars I would!

Google
We had an amazing lunch at HG Sply Co in Ft Worth. It was my first time & I was so pleasantly suprised. For appetizer we had the deviled avocados.. SO YUMMY! We split a turkey club for our entree. It was delicious as well. We had amazing service by Kailey. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Firstly, it was almost hard to find. Just a note, it's in the very back near the trails. Arrived on a Thursday evening and it was jumping. I didn't expect it to be so packed but we were able to snag a table without a reservation within minutes. Once seated we were greeted by our server for the evening and she brought out waters. We placed our appetizer and entree orders almost immediately. We decided to try the bison meatballs to start. Four nice sized meatballs came out on a small skillet with toasted bread. The meatballs were perfectly covered in a tomato sauce with a sprinkle of cheese. (Sorry we ate most of it before snapping a pic) For entrees I went with the stir fry bowl and added rice and salmon. The bowl was so plentiful and had tons of color. The salmon was prepared with a medium finish per my request. Great flavors were throughout the bowl and was a treat to my palate. My dinner mate ordered the seared tuna with roasted Brussels and broccoli. He truly enjoyed his entree as well and uttered not a sound. Lol. Overall this was a great farm to table dining experience that pairs well with date night or girls night out. I think you'll enjoy.

Yelp
I heard good things about this place and wanted a place with good drinks and a nice view for a few of my friends from church. I ended up choosing this spot because the patio was huge and right along the Trinity. Unfortunately this review is a few months overdue so I don't remember what dishes we ordered, except for one -- the salmon poke tacos. Obviously if I still remember this particular dish after months, then it was a standout that I would highly recommend. It's not the typical taco, it's taco-esque, in that the only thing that makes it a taco is the way you eat it. The tortilla is a thinly sliced jicama. The filling is salmon poke, sushi rice, chili mayo, carrots, green onions, and cilantro. It's fresh and perfect for the summer. There are 3 "tacos" in an order. Service was wonderful. Our server was nice and patient and she came by during the appropriate times. I don't remember having to search for her for anything. Overall, I would come back and try some of their brunch dishes, like their sweet potato waffles.

Yelp
Amazing Happy Hour options! Staff was quick to seat and you'll quick to eat. They have both indoors and patio friendly options if your're feeling outdoors-ey. The cucumber smash drink was super refreshing and the Avocado Humus packs a heavy volume but is quite enjoyable in smaller bites. The veggie plate hummus sampler was a bit lackluster despite how fresh the vegetables were. I think what could have elevated the dish was a more bold flavoring choice of the hummus dip.

Yelp
Really tasty food & drinks at HG Supply! Hard to beat the view along the trinity river too. Service was helpful and gave us good recommendations and time to make a decision. They asked us to pay through the QR code which added a "platform fee" which is an additional fee for paying through the QR code. Shady business.... I asked the server to handle the ticket through him to eliminate the charge but I bet there's a lot of people who don't see the added fee. Love the restaurant but that QR code is a scam.

Yelp
Come here for great views and great deals for happy hour. They have a great cucumber smash that's refreshing and delicious. Their appetizers are half off as well. My favorite was the salmon poke tacos: they were fresh and tasty. The ingenious use of daikon as the taco shell is great for low carb foodies. As for the service, it's nothing too special but they are very friendly and they will answer and questions you might have. We've been here on a quick date night and group settings with kids, and every time it's been great!
google avatar

Jacquelyn C.

Yelp
Came in for happy hour and some snacks. I got the cucumber smash and it was so refreshing. It was cooling and a bit sour at the same time--highly recommend. We tried the crispy tuna and salmon poke tacos. Both were so good. The rice bed from the crispy tuna was perfectly crisp and the slab of tuna was tender and perfectly seasoned. The "tortilla" of the salmon poke tacos were radish and the salmon itself was also very tender and seasoned nicely with a very mild kick to it. Definitely recommend both!

Yelp
Grilled chicken was very dry. Too much pepper. Ranch dressing not what you expect. Not good. Mashed potatoes were also dry. Overall not good experience. Lemon drop martini not good. No garnish. Nothing on the rim. Pinot Grigio worst ever. Only one choice. Service was ok. I will consider returning just to see if the burgers are any good. Otherwise. No.

Yelp
Came into here for lunch today. Sat at the table and wasn't greeted by a waitress for 10 minutes. She was nice. The place definitely had a laid back vibe. I did feel like I was sitting very low in the both and it felt awkward. Started with a Avacado Humus which was solid. Then had the Backyard Burger and the Crispy Campfire Chicken Sandwich. The burger didn't excite me at all. The bun was solid quality and held up well during the meal. My meat was a little undercooked and lacked seasoning. The veggies were a little frustrating due to using shredded iceberg lettuce and using the stalk portion of it. The pickles were the best part of the whole burger. The Crispy Campfire Chicken Sandwich was incredibly bland and honestly was boring to eat so I just stopped eating. Same thing with the veggies as the burger also. However there were no pickles on the chicken sandwich and it could have used it. The fries on both meals were old and actually over salted. Which was surprising because the sandwiches could have used that salt on the sandwich.

Yelp
This restaurant is among some of the most dependably good ones around. The food is well above average and isn't overly expensive for what you get. The other restaurants in close proximity are very expensive and are more bar food than quality dining food. We wanted to try a lot of different offerings and that's what we did. We didn't have anything that was bad, from Brussels sprouts to ahi tuna. But, we can say that the entrees sometimes have a higher portion of sides than the actual main food you're wanting to eat on the plate. It's not necessarily a bad thing, and I'm sure the restaurant is just trying to save money. But, we had two waiters for the time we were there, and both were very nice and helpful. At sunset, they gave the whole restaurant a free alcoholic beverage to celebrate. What a sweet touch! But, overall we were happy with the quality of food and they even gave us some free appetizers. The overall restaurant is a little loud for dinner, but that's what you would expect. I would not hesitate to come back here.

Yelp
Tucked into a corner of a shopping plaza facing a pond, this location with outdoor dining should be the perfect spot for a spring meal. Should. Underwhelming is the word to best describe our experience. The fact that drink orders never came until it was time for our check probably best represents the service. Food was ok. Nothing memorable. $$

Yelp
Great location, varied menu, good service. The flavors of the food didn't wow me like I had hoped.

Yelp
I've visted HG Sply a few times for lunches with friends and have been satisfied each time. Their menu is simple but has many options to customize your dish to your liking. With so many possibilities to mix and match proteins, grains, and sides, you can try something new every time! The last time I visited, I tried the stir fry bowl with barbecue chicken which was healthy, colorful, and flavorful! We sat in the indoor dining area which is spacious with lots of natural light and views of the trail along the Trinity River. The wait was a little long, but it passed quickly as I caught up with old friends.
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
HG Sply never falls short for me. I think the menu is very wide and you can customize it to however you'd like, and you won't go wrong. My go to is grilled chicken, brussels sprouts, and roasted broccoli with a garlic aioli. But like I said, I think everything on the menu is a good choice. I've been both to this location and the one in Lower Greenville and I give this location just a little more favor because it's right by the water. However, I don't think you can go wrong with this restaurant at any location. They really stand by their statement of minimally processed food because everything always tastes fresh, wholesome, and like quality food. I like how laid back it is, and how much of the focus is on the food and gathering of the people. I love recommending this restaurant to people because you really can't go wrong with this place!

Lanna L.

Yelp
Love this place. The food always feels so fresh and when they open up the windows on a nice sunny day, it's an outstanding place to stay for a long lunch. I've never had a bad experience here; the servers are top notch. Today I had The Fried Rice bowl with quinoa "meatballs." It's my favorite thing there. I've tried to duplicate it at home to no avail.

Yelp
Holy goodness! Why did I wait so long to try this place?! We had such a great visit here for my birthday lunch! The weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded yet - could be because it was Thursday around 11. We sat on one of the bench tables on the patio. The patio is much bigger than you first think it would be and you have a nice view of the Trinity River. Our server, I believe it was Jordan, was just awesome. He was tentative, made great menu suggestions, and even got one of my drinks and my appetizer comped since I declined a birthday dessert! That's winning service right there and I would go back just for him! Hubby ordered the fish tacos which came with fries. It was a lot of food! The tacos had just the right combination of fish and slaw. He also ordered the potato appetizer, but I can't remember the exact name. They were pretty good, but I'm not a super big fan of whole potatoes. I ordered the charred chicken thigh appetizer and the brussel sprouts appetizer. The brussel sprouts.....oh my lanta, they were delicious! Soft yet crispy, sweet and garlicky. Some of the best I've had. My chicken thighs were also cooked perfectly with the right amount of char and juicy. We were both very impressed by both the food and service. We agreed that we can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Amrita J.

Yelp
The area is located right by the river, and I'm sure it's a great place to sit and take in the sun on a beautiful day, lots of people outside and with their dogs, running, etc. The food was good, but nothing spectacular, ordered some brunch and the Bloody Mary was pretty good had a good spice to it. The server was a little rude for no apparent reason which was unfortunate. We came to watch one of the playoff games while we ate and it wasn't very busy so I'm not sure why the service wasn't great. I think I'm going to stick to the HG Supply in LG for drinks and gameday.

Yelp
HG Sply is in a nice location on the banks of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, just off the Chisholm Trail Parkway. They have an interesting menu with minimally processed, responsibly sourced food. Burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, bowls and heartier dishes with meat, fish and sides. They have a nice cocktail menu, too, that changes seasonally. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed, and you can park for free next to the restaurant in the garage.

Tresa B.

Yelp
Really great food. It was very flavorful and fresh. The Blueberry Margarita deserved another round. Service was great! We ordered the Seared Fish Tacos and a medley of vegetables with Crispy Brussels (our favorite), Coconut Cauliflower and a Grilled Avocado. They asked us if we were sharing and we said yes. They brought out the food already split between us, which was awesome. We appreciated the extra special service. Sitting on the patio next to the Trinity is beautiful. The rain started blowing in and they just closed the walls down to keep us comfortable. We will definitely be back to try another amazing meal!
google avatar

Yelp
Get a little sunshine and good temps and a patio is a must right? Decided to take the fam to HGSPLY this morning and I'm so happy we got out. Our waitress, Summer, was amazing! She was so patient with our 3 year old, recommended a beer for my husband and gave input on our orders. Also asked about any allergies. Which my son does have food allergies, so that was so appreciated. Service was top tier. Our food too was great- I had the Salmon Poke Tacos, my husband went for the bison burger. We will return! And I'll ask for wherever area Summer is waitressing bc she truly made this dining experience!
google avatar

Savannah M.

Yelp
Best customer service. We've been to several other HG supply locations. This was the best service we've had Thurs far. Natalie was our waitress, and she was so attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back for date night!
google avatar

Rachel P.

Yelp
Food was mediocre (I got a burger and fries) but everything lacked adequate seasoning; it was extremely plain. Also, we paid $4 for a can of soda, which we won't be doing again. Two drinks each for my husband and I was not worth $16! Not sure I'll be back, unfortunately. I appreciate their mission but I cannot get over the $4 can of soda, not to mention they were warm from wherever they were brought from.

Yelp
Love this place!!! The happy hour is amazing well worth the visit. We sat outside and it was lovely and not too hot. I think the server was a bit distracted bit she was nice. The food was fresh and everything I hoped it would be.

Yelp
I came here with a few friends for Sunday lunch. It's in a busy commercial area with lots of cute stores and restaurants around. Parking is shared with other businesses, but we found a spot fairly quickly. The interior has a modern warehouse feel. It was pretty busy, so the waitress took a bit of time to get to us, but it wasn't too bad. Since we were a larger group, we ordered a variety of dishes. I'll highlight a couple. Their bowls are supposed to be popular, so we got the yellow curry bowl and the cheeseburger with fries. The burger lacked flavor-it wasn't seasoned well or grilled right. The yellow curry bowl was decent, but my BBQ chicken thigh still had the skin on, which was unseasoned and rubbery. The curry itself was not bad and had a hint of spicy flavor. Overall, this place has potential but falls short in the details. For the price, you can find better options elsewhere.
google avatar

Nikki P.

Yelp
Great menu options for diverse eaters. Wonderful server. Decent drink menu. Brunch was not a good choice for me but I would definitely come back for dinner or take friends who are looking for gluten free or vegan options. Great location and easy parking if you go during a slower time of day
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
HG SPLY is a beautiful spot on the Trinity River. They have a beautiful and large outdoor patio. Their menu includes mini vegan and vegetarian items, which I appreciate. (I try to not eat very much meat, HOWEVER I tried a bite of the buffalo burger and it was delicious!) The service is excellent. Overall, I really like them and I cannot wait to go back.
google avatar

Noah C.

Yelp
Outstanding, high quality ingredients, and extremely allergen friendly. We had knowledgeable, friendly waiter. We had 4 completely different dishes (salmon bowl, salmon tacos, bison meatballs in the curry bowl, and a brisket bowl) and they were all great. Don't understand why this place is only 4.1 stars. Gluten free and dairy/egg free was very easy for one of us.

Pr. F.

Yelp
Lunch for 6 people was $196 (gratuity included). No alcohol or desserts. Most of my family order burgers or chicken sandwiches. I had a chopped salad and came home hungry. If you have dietary restrictions, this place might be a good selection. But if you're the family that orders staple items from the menu, much better value is to be found elsewhere.

Matt H.

Yelp
I am on a strict note seed oil diet, and so I eat at HG supply more than any other restaurant. I go here at least eight times a month and it's endlessly frustrating to me how they never see the patio along the trail. They always have some sort of excuse. Their outside area in the back sucks unless you're seated along the trail because you don't get a breeze otherwise. It isn't that I hate the restaurant, but I want to get their manager's attention to stop being so freaking stupid. My past 6 visits I've tried to sit outside along the trail and it they've had an excuse for why they're not sitting out there every time. Either because it rained (6 hours prior) or simply because that section is not open.

Mary W.

Yelp
Outstanding fresh food. Excellent flavors. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Dressings tasted freshly made. View is amazing. Right on the river. My husband and I came on a Friday morning. Not too busy. I'll be returning. This is an excellent date place! Stroll the riverside after dinner. We both loved it! Service was very good.

Kenan N.

Yelp
Absolutely love this restaurant and location. Typically the staff is amazing. Had an experience with Tiffany this evening. She was incredibly unpleasant. I have never encountered a server that rude to a customer at H&G before hopefully that will be rectified I will be back to see the rest of the staff for the amazing food and cocktails.
google avatar

Aaron M.

Yelp
Another outstanding visit. They were able to accommodate my pregnant seating is at a booth since they were busy. Our waiter Gerrell was the one of the best we've had. He had excellent recommendations. He recommended adding pickles to the quinoa burger. He recommended adding quinoa ball to the yellow curry and sub extra kale for the broccoli. Both turned out outstanding. The yellow curry has red peppers which were spicy but good. The waiter also brought a spoon which was needed for the curry.
google avatar

Sydni L.

Yelp
Danni was amazing. I have a dairy allergy and she was sure to let me know what I could and couldn't have. Really patient and sweet with us. Would go back just for her. The food was amazing as well, I had the quinoa meatballs and was pleasantly surprised to hear the mashed potatoes were also dairy free which I never find. 10/10 experience.
google avatar

Bill A.

Yelp
Excellent ambiance. Service was nice and thorough. Started with the bison chili. Very good and flavorful, only critique is that is could have used a little less salt. The spice was perfect, the heat built just to the point that you knew it was there. My cocktail was a double under. outstanding the sweet and sour mix was nicely done, i went without the salt on the rim. Off to a nice start. My entree was the redfish tacos. Outstanding. Mold fish that paired well with the pickled onions and green salsa, with just the right amount of vinegar. The brussels were also very good with a good balance of spice and sweet. I will rate the street corn since I tried it. Also very good and it was not too sweet. Good experience tonight

Yelp
The avocado hummus was amazing! Basically a more nutrient dense guacamole. The veggie club and cocktails were enjoyed by others in my party, but overall raving reviews. The mango margarita can be spiced up with some fresh jalapeño and tajin! Great outdoor patio for brunch/lunch

Maya F.

Yelp
This place really surprised me. Right on the water, great food, and a cool industrial feel.

Yelp
Grabbed lunch here while spending a day shopping in Fort Worth. We were seated and served quickly. I got the poke bowl and it was delicious! My mom and niece got sandwiches, which were good, but I felt like the fries tasted burnt. The poke bowl is definitely the way to go!
google avatar

Ava R.

Yelp
Met a friend here to catch up and arrived during happy hour. We ordered fries, tuna ahi tacos and pork nachos. Hannah was our server and was very patient with us. It was my first time there and my friend was more than an hour late. The ahi tuna tacos were DELICIOUS and I love that they're served on jicama wraps vs taco shells. The nachos were also pretty tasty but I wish that the cheese and other toppings had been layered. I'll definitely return to try the stir fry as well as the yellow curry.

Phillip E. S.

Yelp
My sister wanted to meet here for dinner. As soon as I walked in, I was in awe of the decor, ambiance, and the overall class of the place. Wow! Quickly finding her table, I immediately ordered a cup of coffee and glass of water. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I munched on the leftover French fries on her plate. They were good. The coffee wasn't too bad either. Honestly, the prices were a little high for this "Average Joe", but I know the food and service more than compensate. Oh, did I mention the service? Our server(s) were incredible. When I said to keep the coffee coming, she took it seriously. Again, wow! Overall, I would recommend this place and would gladly eat here in the future. Come check it out!

Lucero R.

Yelp
Food was incredibly and waiter was very attentive! Great service overall, will come back soon!

Mary Charlotte W.

Yelp
Server got all food wrong, had a reservation and still had to wait 45 minutes. Waiter was rude. Reservation was at 8 didn't get my food until 9:30.

Yelp
As I'm cooking that turkey in the oven, I reflect on the entire year, and decided to write my #ThankYouThursday review. I cannot believe I've been missing out on HG Sply Co all this time! It's healthy food that tastes amazingly delicious. My coworker has been raving about this for days. In fact, he ordered the same meal three times in a row. Today, I realized we have a winning combination on the build your own bowl option. Are you ready for it?!?! Here it is: grilled chicken breast, small honey garlic brussels sprouts, sweet potato hash, and garlic aioli! I need that recipe for honey garlic brussels sprouts ASAP! Brussel sprouts often get a bad rap, but these are crispy and soft at the same time. Not to mention, the flavor is on point; dip them in the garlic aioli sauce and it's so tasty and addicting at the same time. I've also had the quinoa burger stir fry that consists of broccoli, mushrooms, red bell peppers, carrots, red onions, and sesame. I would opt for the BYOB option all day though. I absolutely love this location! It's right next to Trinity River, so you can take a nice stroll post-meal. Overall, I'm just thankful to have them around, and they surely win the award for best-tasting healthy food!!!

Rachel K.

Yelp
We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich through Postmates and it arrived raw and pink in the middle. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager and she did not sound shocked or apologetic and instead said it was a dark meat. I informed her that it was clearly undercooked and unsafe to eat. Disappointed in her response to food safety concerns. Never eating here again!

Yelp
We would eat all meals. Seriously! Everyone should visit HG Supply for three reasons. (1) All dishes are OUTSTANDING - super fresh ingredients and flavor profiles are heavenly. Highly recommend starting with Carrot Hummus and entree of the Forager Bowl with Chicken Thighs. (2) Staff is PERFECTION - friendly and attentive. (3) Location is FABULOUS - on the bank of Trinity River (HUGE patio spaces with fans and heaters), plenty of parking in the garage, and close to I-20. Highly recommend driving to the garage's top and taking elevator to the ground floor, instead of eating precious time hunting for a spot. BONUS: The vibe is rustic modern (aka just cool!), and Adult beverages are DIVINE. Highly recommend the Bloody Mary (extra spicy). You're welcome in advance for this tip!

Yelp
SO disappointed in the Campfire Chicken Ranch Salad. My first time at HG Supply. This $19 salad was the size of a side salad at any other restaurant and the chicken seemed like "chicken parts". Three slices of grape tomato. Mostly kale and bad chicken.

Yelp
I wish I could say more about this place because the outside seating area is so fun. The food is very healthy and delicious. The queso is amazing and you could never tell it is dairy free. The only reason it is not 5 stars is the fact that it did not leave a lasting impression on me. The service has always been fine but like I said nothing stood out to me as outstanding.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this restaurant when we went in. I was very impressed with the decor. I wish I could say I was impressed by the food, but it was one of the worst meals I have had in a restaurant there were five of us in our group, and none of us thought the food was, great. But I tried the pumpkin waffles they were served burned barely warm with no plate presentation at all. They had no flavor at all, if the server would've ever checked back with us I would've said something. As it was, I ate one of the waffles, but I will not be going back.

Yelp
There are much better places on Fort Worth!!! Stay far away!! The food is overpriced, bland, and cooked incorrectly! My over easy eggs came out hard and had bubbles on them. I sent the eggs back and the recooked them. My avacado toast was $12 and was quite literally a peice of rye bread (barely toasted but warm) slathered on "guac" and smashed in a plate of chia seeds and p--- seeds. It was awful!!! I also ordered a carafe of elderflower mimosa. SO OVERPRICED! It was $27!!! The service here was also very bad. I was with a group of about 8 people and they sat us in the back (maybe it was bc I was with aggies? Idk!) They brought out glasses for our mimosas and half of them had to be sent back bc they were DIRTY! The waitress acted like we were bothering her but she's the one that kept bringing out dirty dishes! During my time on Fort Worth, I tried so many other better places to eat! I suggest to avoid this place or at least don't order what I ordered lol !!

Yelp
I came here for lunch with a friend when we were over at the Dickies Arena for an all day event. It's really convenient with a large parking garage nearby, there are some surface spots too but with lots of shops in this small area, the garage is probably easier. I had never been to HG SPLY before but this will definitely not be my last visit! There were so many things on the menu that sounded delicious, and everything was really good! I had a Mango Marg to drink, and it was perfectly balanced and very tasty. For food, I had the Kale Caesar salad and a bowl of the bison chili, and I really enjoyed both. The salad came with chickpea croutons which were very interesting, they were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside! The chili was super rich and flavorful. My friend let me try one of her bison meatballs, which was good, but I preferred the chili. Our server was very friendly (I wish I had caught her name) and made us feel welcome and helped us make decisions, which was much appreciated!
