My friend and I drove all the way from Chandler just to be turned away for nothing. I was denied entry because I "Didn't have sleeves." I was wearing a tank top that was on the nicer side, and definitely was appropriate for the atmosphere. But apparently I was going against their nonexistent dress code policy. I am a black, gay man. I cannot help but believe the bouncer had discriminatory reasons for denying me entry. The week prior I wore a slightly CROPPED tank top with no issue. What else do you expect a gay guy to wear out? I am literally a fashion model and know how to dress. Of course he was completely fine with my female friend next to me who was in a corset top. I experienced gender discrimination and homophobia at HiFi, hopefully this does not happen again. No other bar has ever had an issue. Would not recommend this place if you are fashion forward, as they will critique your outfit and try to micromanage how you dress.

Nightlife spot in Old Town. RSVP VIP seating or its standing room only, which is on par for all of the hot spots in this area. Nothing really sets this place apart from the other clubs, but I will say that their promoter is one of the hardest working dudes in Old Town.

My review is for a weekend night. Decent crowd. No issues with security. But $25 for a Grey goose vodka/soda? I'm not cheap but I know the value of a drink. You tripping. Won't be returning here. Scam.

Please be aware that our group of friends did not check the reviews before visiting this place, and we deeply regret it. We were unaware of the “service charges” and that bartenders prefer tips. Discover cards are not accepted here (see the photo for reference). Additionally, we were disappointed by the excuses given and the fact that our drinks had no alcohol, yet we were charged for ice and soda.

Had an absolute blast here last night. Great music selection of dance pop and EDM music. Always fun for cocktails and dancing with my wife. Would recommend!

Went to this place last night with my friends for her birthday and after ordering our drinks, the short brunette bartender rudely insisted they didn’t take discover cards. I only bring my credit card out so I tried to ask her if I could use Apple Pay because I have my debit card on there and she kept telling me no, even though I saw the tap to pay on their readers! She kept telling me “call someone” because she wouldn’t take my Apple Pay, I tried to call my two friends who were in the bathroom and neither of them were answering. I walked away to go find them and the bartender followed me insisting I had to pay, I tried to explain I was trying to get my friends so I could pay with their card but she decided to tell a bouncer I wasn’t paying for my drinks and got me kicked out. I was just shocked about this entire interaction because for 1. How do you not take discover, 2. Why are you telling me you don’t take Apple Pay when I see it everywhere and 3. How are you so rude and ignorant to your customers when they’re the ones tipping you???? I work in the service industry and that girl needs to be fired immediately for how poorly she handles situations and straight up ignorant she is. Never coming here again and I’m making sure to tell everyone I know how bad it is here.

My friend ordered us 4 drinks. when i tried my tequila soda , it was simply just soda water with lime. when we try to ask about fixing our drink, the bartender simply said that they weren’t allowed to try it and charged him another shot . I couldn’t believe how they deceive him and lied to him. The customer service is outrageous. I couldn’t believe the amount of unprofessionalism and disrespect that the staff had. I felt lied and cheated too. I would not recommend this place. you are better off going to a gas station and getting shots

I was in town for the holiday and stayed in Old Town. I hit up Hi Fi. I cannot say enough about the staff from bartender to the manager. They made me feel very welcome. I got there early and the manager chatted with me for quite a while. I cannot remember his name but he was from New York. The music was on point. Thank you Hi Fi, I had a blast and will be back.

Had a blast here last night. The music was amazing, dance pop and EDM rather than just hip hop. My wife and I made magical moments and love it. Would recommend!

Went in and ordered two shots of Hennessy. To our surprise it was $25 per shot, which is ridiculous and unheard of, but okay, our fault as I should have asked before ordering. However, they charged a 22% service fee and didn't even bother to let us know or highlight it in the receipt. Luckily I was able to catch it but kind of ridiculous given you would think they'd have some etiquette of giving us a heads up. Keep in mind, it was a Sunday at 10:30pm... the other places in the same area charged significantly less, have better service, so I don't recommend this place.

Please save yourself the trouble and trip to and back. A place full of disappointment--drinks priced at 3x the normal amount, while the staff, more engrossed in their phones than in serving customers. If you try to voice your concerns it's met with unsympathetic management, who dismiss complaints instantly, reinforcing the notion that in this establishment, style far outweighs substance. Again don't go here, plenty of other bars in the area.

The entrance was free which was nice but not sure if they charge later on. We got there pretty early. The music was okay. Security was very rude, the bartenders ignored us for the first 10 minutes and were taking orders from men. That was interesting. We ordered 2 casamigos and the charge was $56 which included gratuity. Definitely do't order drinks. And I go to bars in Scottsdale this place is ridiculous.

I ordered 1 beer on draft and was told they didn't have it on draft but had it in a bottle. Fine. There were 2 completely different charges and couldn't change it when I asked about the discrepancy. When I showed the person that charge me the 1 bottle and the online price (9$), she just said it wasn't updated( 14$). Its completely dishonest and terrible service hence why they have to add the service charge. They were useless

Vibes are great, drinks are weak. If you order a straight shot they mix it with simple syrup. I paid $30 for a "double" that didn't at all feel like a double.

Burger was great. They always play good music. Bingo on Wednesdays is fun. Good vibes.

Online shows them to be $8 but they charged us $10 each but WTF is this $4 service charge for??? All you did was open 2 bottles of beer. Way overpriced if you ask me. Huge waste of money here.

The place was incredible! Bouncers were chill and reasonable and a few were funny as hell! It wasn't totally chaotic and waitresses were always on it they would grab my drinks and they were respectful! Only reason it isn't a 5 star is because I got scammed out of $40 entrance because I was wearing grey sweats but I mean that part was totally on me for not knowing despite it being the first time at a night club. Other than that, highly recommend had a blast and the music was great! Definitely coming back again.

I went in with some friends over the weekend and bought a table. We were having a great time besides from the service our server was giving us. Savanna seemed to be giving my friend who put his card down the most attention and ignored the rest of us. We asked for a bottle of don Julio, and were brought out a $1400 bottle of champagne instead. When asked to speak to a manager she ignored us. Brought the bottle of don Julio and said "shhh" and ignored us the rest of the night. We signed our check and left before being scammed any more. Was not happy with our experience.

DO NOT PAY TO SEE AN ARTIST HERE. My friend and I came in from out of town for an advertised 21 Savage show after the Super Bowl. We paid $100 per ticket. The poster said arrive at 7pm. We arrived at 7 and waited in line for 2 hours despite having tickets for the event, while other people were let into the club. We get into the club and we wait... And we wait.... And we wait..... The bar is about to close and it's 1:45AM and we've just been standing there waiting for the artist to arrive for almost 6 hours at this point. Finally, the artist comes out and just sits at a table for 10 minutes. In the last 5 minutes before closing, he said a couple lyrics of his songs into a mic while STILL SITTING so nobody could even see him, and left immediately. When asking the manager for our money back or some compensation for their false advertising and borderline fraud, he told us to "f*ck off" to our faces and walked away, even though we were being very courteous. By the way, drinks are $35+ after tip. Want just a regular sized Red Bull can? $18.

Spent a Friday night at hifi for my boyfriends birthday, and had major issues with one of the male bartenders. One of our friends ordered drinks and he took her receipt book back before she had signed or taken her card back. When asked for her card back he continued to claim he never took her card until we had 4 different people asking him to check. When he finally found her card in the book he had taken back he physically threw it across the counter at us knocking drinks over in the process. When we were visibly upset about this interaction he claimed that he could be worse and proceeded to kick us out for being upset. The GM Jake was AMAZING and let us back in after we explained what happened and told us to simply stay away from the bartender we had issues with. We agreed to do so and enjoyed ourselves up until the point where we wanted a second drink. We went to the opposite end of the bar as the bartender we had issues with and ordered our drink. And this is where the bartender that threw the book told all the bartenders at the bar that we were not to be served even though we had clearly been let back in over the misunderstanding and had only had one drink, as well as followed the instructions of the GM. One bartender even had the audacity to tell us SHE was the manager and gave us attitude, lying to our faces and telling us we continued to antagonize the original bartender we had issues with, when we clearly did not. We then went back to the GM Jake and he brought us free drinks which was absolutely amazing of him, however it was definitely not worth the hassle of trying to be out and celebrate a birthday and deal with bartenders who are so obviously rude to their customers and will group together and LIE about you because a single one has a bad attitude.

This was definitely a cool place with a great vibe for sure. Went on a random Wednesday and that didn't stop people from coming out. If you're in the Phoenix or Scottsdale area definitely come check the place out for some good music and socializing fun

I went to this night club and the brunette bartender Brittany had the WORST attitude. She was extremely rude and overcharged me for WELL DRINKS. I told her that my drink tasted funny and she asked me why I was yelling at her. I responded it's because the music is loud and she threatened to have me kicked out. I asked her what I did and she immediately ran to get security to have me and my friend escorted out. I'm sure I was the only black girl in the club and I felt like she was picking on us because we did absolutely NOTHING. I only had ONE drink and it was the poorly poured well gin and tonic she charged me $20 for. I went to this same location yesterday and bought these cocktails for $15. Later in the night after my ONE drink I had at HiFi I began to violently throw up and the room was spinning like I had 10 drinks in my system. I noticed that when that bartender was making my drink she kept turning her back on my drinks at the bar. I really believe she let someone slip something into my drink. I still felt really sick the morning after and I will be going to the hospital. If any roofies come back positive in my system I will absolutely be taking legal action because I only had one drink at this location and I specifically told that rude bartender that had me kicked out that my drink tasted funny. HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED anyone comes here. The environment is NOT friendly or safe for women and I'm pretty sure I was drugged at this location by the negligent bartender that claimed to be the bar manager. Thankfully I made it right as soon has I started to feel the effects because I could've blacked out on the highway BEWARE OF THIS BARTENDER LADIES!!!!

Stay the F away from this place, seems they lost my debit card/drivers license and told me to come back the next day (a week ago), which I did. Bartender said they couldnt find my card or my drivers license. My mistake was thinking if they did find it, they would shred them, as they are supposed to do. I ordered a new replacement card and same digets as the old one, but with new secuirty features. Well what did I get today? A secruity text notice that the old card was declined at QT on 44th ST??? How can that be? The place that lost my card was Hi-Fi, some shady stuff has been going on here for a while and I ignored it. I will no longer come here as this place has just gone downhill and the whole area screams of broke ass 30K millionaires who work these areas who need to steal cards, this is a huge issue as others have stated.

Outrageous. A staff member(s) stole my credit card after I left it at the bar one night and went on a huge shopping spree at Bass Pro Shops in Mesa. Utterly unprofessional and disgusting to hear from both Scottsdale and Bass Pro that this specific issue continues here!

horrible service all night. it was a Friday night and they were out of half of the draft beers. no wine selections at all. our waitress said the manager told them to say we didn't have anything by the glass. At the end of the night, we were forced to pay a 22% tip and a $25 venue charge. Total bill for 7 people was $660.

I was confused, I don't go to clubs often. So when I saw someone come up to our table and take drinks I was concerned and asked what are you doing. As I should too, like a bunch of drunk girls and then this random man comes to the table of course I'm curious what they hell you're doing. The man proceeded to tell me he was the manager, but I was confused even further because if he was the manager opening alcohol for promoters then why would he be drinking? I didn't have any issue and I was being fairly polite and they made it seem like they were going to kick me out for saying a word to them. Very hostile attitude and I think if they wanted to keep bringing customers out then they should just be nice and explain how things work and not just start giving everyone alcohol. I didn't even know if it cost anything so that was why I was initially confused because I didn't want to pay for something I didn't want. It was free alcohol but still the attitude could've been left at the door. Could've been as easy as explaining the process rather than hostility.

I bought some drinks for some friends and when I paid they didn't return my card, then blamed me, even after I had given them something like an 80% tip. They finally said after a while that they found my card in the bill book. But instead of thanking me, they ostracized me for having not found it myself and despite me tipping so well AND me trying to make it right they instead treated me more rudely than you can imagine. And yes I used some choice words because I tipped like $80 on a $20 dollar bill. The ego these "employees" have is unbelievable. And I will be calling my lawyer to dispute the charge. Any decent business owner would never allow this. Don't go here ever. And I hope these egotistical piss poor employees are fired.

BEWARE !!!!! My son stopped here for one drink and bc it was almost $20 for a simple well drink he didn't leave a tip. Unfortunately he didn't keep receipt and when it cleared the bank the bartender had added a $100 tip. Easy for them to simply add a "1" in front of total. TOTAL SCAM! Lesson learned ... always keep receipt. Tried disputing with bank but unfortunately they provided receipt showing the "1" put in front of total. He's 21 years old and NO WAY would have left $100 tip !!!

This place deserves zero stars. Me and my group of friends went out last night to this place, and this was my first time ever getting kicked out of a so called "club". I was dancing with my friends when I noticed one of the security guards pushed into me and shoved me so hard because I apparently was in the way. I was on the side near the booths because there was no where else to stand. I turned around and politely asked the security guard to say "excuse me" or "coming through" the next time he tried to pass others. It's not that hard to have manners. Well apparently the security guard whispered some bullshit into a walkie talkie asking me to get escorted out. There about 5 different security guards trying to escort a woman who was 5'2". One of them had told me that if I didn't leave they would physically assault me and kicked me out. As a POC, I am not surprised that I am not the only one that experienced the same exact issue. The majority of others have been expressing that they noticed it's not POC or gay friendly at all. I immediately felt that when they made threats to me. There was even a group of black people in a booth beside us that said "She's with us, it's fine. She's not doing anything wrong." I just want to say thank you to my people that were standing up for me. We always gotta watch out for each other. After they tried to de-escalating the situation, the security guards were even angrier than before. They immediately started trying to block me off and separate me from my friends, and I started getting aggressive because I hate being cornered in. I don't know why they thought that was a good approach to de-escalate a situation, but it wasn't. You never know if someone has traumatic memories of unfortunate events of being isolated into certain areas, so I felt that was immensely inappropriate. We eventually were escorted out of the place after me and one other security employee were head to head in a verbal altercation. I'm also not surprised if this place goes out of business soon due to the lack of respect they have for customers. I hope they go out of business. You can't just randomly assault someone and think there will be no retaliation afterwards. I will NEVER be back!

BEWARE DO NOT COME TO HI-FI!! Waited 45 minutes in line to get to the front and bouncer tells me "No Air Force 1's or Jordans allowed unless you have bottle service for $1,500." Never heard a policy like this... A business declines customers wearing the most popular shoes in the world. Bouncer asked me to "take care of him" to get in. Had blond hair and blond beard. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will never be coming back here. Asked Bouncer who instated this policy, which he said the owner made it. Baffles me why ANY owner would turn away so much business. I witnessed 3 more people get kicked out after me. I rarely leave reviews, but getting booted out of line and ruining my whole night motivated this should-be 0 star review.

Only 6 people in here on a Saturday evening, so we stopped for a drink because it was quiet in the loud Entertainment District. Quickly found out why......ordered a bottle of Coors Light...about the cheapest beer available . It was $11. Enough said. No wonder they were the only empty bar on the street!

The club goes up on a Friday! Hi-Fi is a Scottsdale favorite for sure. Right now they are going out of their was to ensure all of their staff and customers are safe. You have to have a reservation because there is limited bar seating due to Covid. Dom is an amazing server. We always request her. She is so attentive and makes us feel like we are home. Jill is also great. Super upbeat and friendly. If you're looking for a safe evening spot to grab a drink, this is your place! 10/10 for sure!

don't do a birthday here. paid $100 for 2 bottles of champagne and a birthday sign. no one in the group saw the sign go up. when i asked if the cardboard sign could go up for a few seconds for a photo, they said no and passive aggressively demanded a tip. so rude and disappointing.

We got a table there on a Saturday night On the phone we told them we are about 15 ppl so we need a big place. They told us we will need to buy a place for 2 groups ( 4 bottles ) and we agreed. When we got there we got a big place, but after 30 mins they took our table and split it with more ppl . Try to sell on top of our back . We found ourself 15 guys standing like sardines They bottles when we got them also were open ( make me wonder if they mixed with water ) We left 45 after we got there and went somewhere else

Came to Hi Fi for drinks around 11pm. The whole street was packed but Hi Fi was jamming. The place is pretty big but it gets packed fast. Seems pretty casual if guys are able to get in with T-shirt's and tennis shoes. There was a good mix between guys and girls and different age groups. Hilarious how the cocktail waitress is escorted in a power wheel convertible while bringing your bottle to the table. It's totally a sight to be seen.

This evening our friend had a table that we were hanging out at. Having a great time and minding our own business. I am just extremely speechless of what I am about to say due to the fact that it is 2021. My brother is gay who was with us in the group and got kicked out because he was gay. It is to the point of what the actual fuck. I am speechless with the fact that a security guard walking over to us to kicked him out for no reason other then him being gay. It is sad that this is the way you want to run a business. Let alone make it okay that your security guards who make minim wage have a say of who can stay. The end of the day this can not happen again. Extremely sad we live in a world where we are still discriminating against people due to their sexuality. Not a way to run a business. I hope things will change and this will not be tolerated. Extremely disappointed that I spent a dollar here.

I understand on Saturday that they are an Iowa bar but they refuse to put any other game on the TV. It was not very packed and they would not move a TV for our Alabama game which is a much higher ranked game. We had to leave.

Terrible experience. My friends and I got to the bar to order a drink and as I was waiting to order this random lady comes up to me and starts dancing by me and by the time I realized she was trying to get my attention and I made contact with her she begins to say "oh so you want to be a hater? You're so done " whatever that means?!?? (this lady was clearly on drugs and had way to much to drink) Not only was it mine and most of my friends first times checking this place out but we were there celebrating our friends 21st birthday. I then see the lady immediately run to the security guard who she seemed to be close with , as I was trying to process what was going on , i then see the security guard that she was talking to approaching me and he continues to aggressively ask me to come to the front door with him alone ?!?! And so my friends stepped in and said I wasn't going alone anywhere, at that point I felt like my safety was in jeopardy. I stood there calmly and then the lady threatened to beat me up and I was really scared she was going to hit me for literally not noticing her wanting to dance with me (I'm glad I didn't dance with her because she was clearly not a good person) anyways I later found out by one of the bartenders the reason why that security guard was protecting her was because she's a big spender there.... which was SUPER disappointing to hear. I felt completely uncomfortable and since they didn't want to kick that crazy lady out I decided I would just remove myself from the situation because I was not being protected by the people at the club that is supposed to guarantee a perfect first experience for me. Before I left I decided to confront the security manager and the security guard who disrespected me since I felt I needed to do that for my own peace..... as I was talking to security guard manager and explaining to him how that made me feel they spoke over me and didn't try to even listen to me or have any empathy for what I had just gone through. I continue to tell them that this was my first and last time ever coming back & left and the crazy lady stayed there bragged about "getting some girl kicked out" like no sweetie I left and I'm never coming back , don't come here unless you want to have to deal with terrible situation like this. Glad it didn't go worse. All this on a Monday night. C'mon.
