Where To Eat & Drink In St. Louis

"Hi-Pointe Drive-In in Richmond Heights makes all of the classic burgers, sandwiches, and shakes that come to mind when you think of a “drive-in,” but with food that’s a little higher quality and more interesting than you might expect. All of the ingredients are locally sourced and the menu includes everything from a cool ranch Dorito burger and grilled cheese tacos to a salmon banh mi. The space itself is made out of colorful shipping containers too, and is where you should go before seeing a movie at the Hi-Pointe Theatre next door." - jen maylack

Google
Amazing food and they have the real-life original Good Burger car from the Good Burger movie outside! They serve their signature sauce, along with plenty of other sauces, at the tables and the signature sauce is DELICIOUS!!! The environment is a little noisy, not over-crowded and very cool inside and out. Indoor and outdoor seating available! The staff here are very friendly/funny and make great conversation too :) I can’t remember his name but one worker especially was very kind and made us laugh HARD. As he said, “the vibes are all here” :)

This place was phenomenal. I had the lunch lady burger — they have so many speciality burgers I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. There was a bit of a line but the burgers came out quickly. (Only a two person party) the Mac was okay, needs more flavor. My brother got a fountain drink and the drinks are soooo cool. So many unique flavors that are local? (Not sure I’m not from here) The service was top tier too! This is THAT SPOT! I wish I was here for longer because I would definitely come back. No wonder they have an app and a loyalty program. Also, cleanest bathroom known to mankind. And all gender bathrooms only!

Iconic Spot with Killer Burgers & Throwback Vibes! Hi-Pointe Drive-In isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. From the moment we pulled up and saw the Good Burger car out front, we knew we were in for something fun and different. The vibe inside is like a nostalgic trip through pop culture. The walls are decked out with quirky art, vintage photos, and cool props—everywhere you look, there’s something that catches your eye. And we loved seeing Mr. Burger Boy keeping watch near the front—it adds a playful, retro feel that sets the tone for the whole visit. The staff were beyond friendly—genuinely some of the best service we’ve had. They greeted us right away, offered great menu recommendations, and even helped me order a secret menu item one of the employees personally recommended (and yes, it was fire). That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference. As for the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We had the Frisco Melt—melty, rich, and perfectly crisp on that sourdough. The Arch D-Lux and Lunch Lady burgers were stacked, juicy, and full of bold flavors. And the Taco Burger? That one was wild in the best way—crunchy, cheesy, and totally unique. We washed it all down with an Oreo Shake and Confetti Shake—both were thick, creamy, and hit the sweet spot perfectly. One last awesome touch? Their selection of unique sodas. They’ve got way more than just the usual fountain drinks, including local and craft sodas that you won’t find at your average fast food spot. It’s just another small but standout detail that makes Hi-Pointe so memorable. Fun atmosphere, amazing food, and a team that truly makes you feel welcome—10/10. This place is a must if you’re in St. Louis!

I went there to get some take out and it took almost an hour to get my food. The food was over salted but had some nice flavor. The resturant was very unhygienic and dirty with the employees grabing their underwear or the ground and not changing gloves or washing hands. Then they proceed to grab the fries and food with those dirty hands. This pmo and made me feel disgusted and not hungry. Dont order fries. Also all the straws were grabed by those same underwear hands btw. Just avoid this place. Food was mid

Google
5/5 stars on Everything Hands down, one of the BEST burger spots I've ever had . The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and the mouthwatering aroma of sizzling patties. My wife ordered the signature "Arch D-Lux” and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! The patties were cooked to perfection - juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The toppings were fresh and abundant, and that sauce was incredible. I ordered “The Taco Burger”. The smash burger was very very good. The avocado ranch & Mission Taco Joint sauce work every well together but they forgot the Cool Ranch Doritos and Chili Cheese Fritos so I’ll have to make sure I have those in it next time! The orange float was a 10/10. The float was the perfect amount of sweetness. The fries were great too. They tasted homemade and went well with their special sauce. The food was top-notch, but what really sets this place apart is the staff. They're friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about serving up amazing food. My server went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and even threw in some awesome recommendations. If you're a burger lover like me, do yourself a favor and GET. HERE. NOW!

Google
This one felt very retro. I loved the way they decorated it. They were busy but not swamped. I had the Patty Melt and it was good but I didn't like their sauce. If I go back, I'll won't get the sauce. The oreo shake was adorable with the side of the cup decorated with icing and mini cookies.

Google
Excellent Service, Delicious Food, Cool Vibe.....what more can you ask for! We were in the area on Memorial Day and was looking for the perfect place to enjoy some local flavor and noticed the positive reviews for Hi-Pointe. I had heard about Hi-Pointe in the past but never had the opportunity to check it out, until today. The shake was great, burgers were on point but to us, the fries were the HIGHLIGHT! This place is definitely worth the hype!

Yelp
Service is fast for how many orders they receive. Burger and fries are always delissh here. The Inside is a fun vibe too!

Yelp
This was a great burger joint to stop for lunch with friends. The inside is a very casual diner with walk up ordering, but they are quick to bring out food. They had options for specialty burgers like the Tokalahoma I ordered as well as the ability to build your own. Note that they charge per slice of cheese (meaning that it will be added twice to a double). Only thing that we didn't like was that the buns were cold, which eventually warmed up with the burger.

Yelp
I can't understand how someone can't give Hi-Point the highest rating possible...I honestly can't. Now, I only tried a bacon cheeseburger, fries and a fountain drink, but it was the best damn cheesehamburger I've ever had, and that probably goes for the fries and drink as well! Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with jalapenos and grilled onions, The regular fries (not the cheese fries) and a black cherry soda. Damn! Hi Point makes smash burgers. Get yourself a double. I know, I know... But Mike, those are 4 oz patties and that means you're putting a half pound of meat on that sandwich! And damn good meat at that! And it's got a little bit of a crunch on the edges of the patties... I put some extra special sauce on it and I got to say it was fantastic. The fries were fresh out of the fryer, and made from real potatoes, not pressed mashed potatoes formed into potatoes, but real potatoes cut into fries. They keep the skin on them when they fry them. And that crazy cherry soda? It made Dr Brown's black cherry soda taste weak! If you're in St Louis, then you got to go. Go to the original one, which is the one at 1033 McCausland avenue. It looks like it's a couple of containers put together. This one's a keeper!

Yelp
The decor is a combo of retro and contemporary. The food was beyond reproach. The burger was among the best I've ever had, and the milkshake was thick and luscious. What was unusual was the staff. A guy was doing some cleaning by the front door and he stopped and greeted us. We asked him a few questions about the food and he made some well thought out recommendations. Had more questions for the guy at the register, also answered politely. During the meal we had a couple people stop by the table to see if everything was ok. Guess what I'm saying is that this is not your usual burger bar.

Yelp
Been here before but wanted to bring the wife for the experience. I like smash style burgers, my wife not as much. I went simple and just had the double burger and added fries and a drink. My daring wife on the other hand had the burger tacos...not a taco burger...but burgers in taco form lol. She said it was amazing...and she was excited there were 2 of them. Short version, they use a smashed grilled cheese sandwich as the taco shell, and add a taco seasoned hamburger with avocado sauce and some other stuff...I'm out...she was very much in :) I brought her to experience the ambiance of the place, it's fun. Fun music, lots to look at, and Excel drink products (we are from the Illinois side near where it's bottled) so that's always a win. Our server was amazing. Super nice, fun to talk to, and just a positive person. Worth a visit if you're from out of town and haven't been. But from my understanding this location is the one to go to, haven't tried the one on the Illinois side, but unfortunately haven't heard a lot of positives.

Yelp
What a great experience! Burgers were top notch-- every topping was fantastic... quality cuts of beef! Fries are thick cut with the perfect seasoning. My son had the Oreo shake--it was perfection! The employees really made this experience fantastic. They were energetic and so happy to serve. Each person was smiling and ready to help. We visited the main location which had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors they had patio and bar services. It was a beautiful day to be outside too.

Yelp
Hi Pointe is our go to burger stop for some of St. Louis' best burgers. Jeff loves the BYOB option providing for all of his favorite toppings. I'm more of a Patty Melt style burger with sourdough bread. The service at the McCausland Hi Pointe is second to none. Lots of drive by's to make sure everything was tasting great. Love the look and feel of this what feels like original Hi Pointe. Takes me back in time.

Yelp
My friend Bob is 87 years old. He's from Cincinnati and is dating one of my friends who is also that age. (I'm younger than their kids. By the way.) They are adorable together and when he is in town he loves to take his girl and her friends out to dinner. So when he's in town I take him for lunch. For a burger. That's all Bob really likes to eat. We have been to several places all over the city looking for the perfect burger. Today was the Hi-Pointe's turn. He loved the ambiance of the place and I even got his picture with the Good Burger Car although now it's the Cood Burger. Bob immediately knew what kind of car it was. We were one of the first to arrive today. Since I was working I planned it that way. I needed to get back to work and since I've eaten here a couple times before I know there is usually a crowd. Because we were there right at 11, and because Bob walks very slow we were able to notice that there was lemonade on draft (so to speak) and he got a kick out of all the other interesting sodas and beverages. Bob loves lemonade. We looked over the menu but I already knew what he wanted. I was right. A burger with one patty, American cheese, French fries and lemonade. This is his go-to and what he likes to get wherever we go. I walked up to the register and there was some loud talking/yelling about how someone was supposed to be working today(?). I tried not to pay attention but it was honestly happening right in front of me. The guy working the register (new?) couldn't really hear me nor I him over the loud talking. Now, I didn't get a burger. I got a grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato tots. (I love tots.) Bob's burger and fries came out first. It took a little longer for mine but I ordered chicken. Luckily Bob eats slow. When my food was delivered to me a very nice guy gave me some sauce for the tots. Told me to trust him... that is good. How sweet! His name is Irving. I have to tell you he was super kind to everyone and while he told us all that we could leave our stuff on the table and they would clean it off, it sounded like he was our pal and would take care of it for us. Like he wouldn't be doing that for everyone, just us. It wasn't said like a robot. You know? Even Bob was impressed. Bob liked his burger. Yeah... just liked. It's not the best that he's had... his opinion. Now my grilled chicken sandwich was fantastic!! I think it just might be the best I've ever had. I intended on talking half home but I scarfed it down like I hadn't eaten in weeks. I also loved the tots. And... this is a big deal...Bob ALSO loved the tots. (Bob doesn't like sweet potatoes at all.) Before we left I bought Bob one of the chocolate chip cookie sandwiches. He shouldn't be eating it honestly but I know he loves his sugar. Anyway, WE may be back but I know that I definitely will. Also, I am a Yelp Elite and think that Scott A. is wrong. It's NOT the worst restaurant. (IYKYK)

Yelp
Let's start with the food, wonderful! Made-to-order, fresh, flavorful, and fast. They are constantly checking in to see how everything is and if all is correct. The staff is tirelessly clearing tables, cleaning, and seeing to your comfort. The theme is out of this world with a few extraterrestrials and memorabilia. Considering the number of guests and the late, after-lunch hour the dining room was clean, well-stocked, and staffed with employees who genuinely seemed happy to be of service. Great place.

Yelp
I just can't get enough of this place. Love the vibe. Love the creativity. Love the menu options. Love the kitschy stuff everywhere. Feels like a St. Louis staple! Counter service was decent. New employee was being trained and we felt like we were in good hands. Food delivered to the table by a friendly food runner. Someone came by a couple times, which was appreciated. What we ordered: - Special burger of the day (4.5/5): Single patty topped with a waffle fry, nacho cheese, avocado, yum! - Jalapeño hush puppies (3.75/5: Decent. Oh yeah, I will be back.

Yelp
I love this place. it's consistent and it's real food! I always order a turkey burger, a salmon salad or this time I got the turkey club. I love the sweet potato tots as a nice side. It really hits the spot when looking for a stick to your ribs treat. The curb side survive is also a great touch! I love the colorful diverse servers using an ap is a total bonus Ps. And they use paper bags

Yelp
I love this place, and the staff was so understanding and helpful when it came to an issue with their 3rd party delivery provider. Lilith was creative in finding a good solution and made sure we we were able to get another order delivered. She was very nice as well! And as always, we loved our burger and Frisco Melt. This place is a gem

Yelp
As a vegetarian, it's rare for me to frequent a burger joint but Hi-Pointe Drive-In is one place I love to frequent. I keep it simple with their impossible burger, often adding avocado and a side of sweet potato tots (which are to die for!) but not much else. There's the thing, at Hi-Pointe, you don't need to. The food is just that good.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
Can I just start out by saying, home of the goodburger care, oh my yes!!!! That was a huge highlight for me. The service here was better than service I have had at restaurants. We ate outside and multiple times workers came to check on us, it was amazing. The kind attention from the staff made our meal incredibly enjoyable. As for the food, it was good. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. They have some fun drinks, too. Ambience was upbeat and welcoming. Overall, dining here was a delightful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Yelp
I was looking for a place to grab a good burger and heard about Hi-Pointe. So I decided to go to the OG location on McCausland. The staff were great and friendly. The location was clean and the burger was amazing! I had the cowboy burger and added jalapeños. The staff checked on me even sitting outside and said they would clean up. If you're from out of town and want a good place to eat and chill, come here!
google avatar

Dranoel W.

Yelp
I Don't think I have had a bad moment here. Took a visiting friend here to try it out. I got a Cowboy burger (added jalapeños) with fries. My friend had a list of food allergies, however they were very accommodating to find the right burg for her. It was a bit busy but we were able to find a booth. An employee came by a couple times to check on us so that was awesome. Good way to eat on a rainy day.

Yelp
Finally made it here. Food was out quick and loved my taco burger and daughter looked her kids meal. We'll be back.
google avatar

Suzane C.

Yelp
The double burger was great! Juicy and tasty. The surfing was the side of green beans. Truly enjoyed the onions and garlic that the green beans were prepared with. The vibe is casual that suits it well. The entry and exit door is situated in an odd location that took a minute to locate. The staff were helpful and informative. I am puzzled about something in general: why do they ask for a tip upon ordering? I realize this is systemic, but I really don't know what I am being asked as a tip to me is something that is given for good service. It doesn't make sense to ask for it before you get the food. Imagine McDonald's having computer registers that ask for a tip and I have the same feeling about it in a place such as this. Raise the prices and pay staff higher wages, please don't ask for a tip when service and food have yet to be provided.
google avatar

Dani J.

Yelp
Always love Hi-Pointe! The service at the McCausland location is always fantastic. Love the retro eclectic vibe here. Smash burgers and the fried Nashville hot chicken sandwich are always winners, and I'm a huge fan of their fries with either cheese sauce or their fabulous fry sauce. Sweet potato tots are good but sometimes wish they were a little crispier. We have found that their shakes are fairly mediocre, haven't had one that just wowed us...but I'm not there for the shakes

James G.

Yelp
We live nearby, but ordering online (easy) is recommended during peak hours. The food is well prepared using good ingredients. The staff, in our experience, has always been friendly and courteous. The facility is basic burger, but clean and well kept. The worst thing I can say about the place is that they need a bigger parking lot.
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Food was amazing, staff were amazing, and the entire spot has great personality. The decor and ambiance are a great fit and I would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Erika H.

Yelp
Tried Hi-pointe for the first time with a coworker. I always eyed this place as their food looks delicious. The menu is A La Carte, so everything you buy is separate. I had a double cheeseburger with lettuce, pickle, mayo and mustard and added some of their signature sauce with a side of fries. The burger was good, it needs a little bit more seasoning. The fries were good and hot. I got a side of Delux sauce and avocado ranch. The sauces were really good. I love the decor. It gives you retro and eclectic energy. They have the good burger car where you can take pictures in front of. The staff was friendly and greeted you when you ordered or picked up your food. I would definitely try this place again.
google avatar

Tim W.

Yelp
We opted for Hi-Pointe Burgers to-go since we were conveniently located next to the theater. I thoroughly enjoyed what I had - a delicious burger. While it was good, I look forward to trying it again when I can savor the experience without feeling rushed.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped there after going ice skating at Steinberg Ice Skating Rink! It was a perfect post skate stop! Not too hungry I ordered one of their holiday shakes! Excellent but the ice cream was more milky than a cold ice cream shake. Nonetheless it was super good and the presentation was awesome! Love the food there but I go for the shakes!
google avatar

Elaine S.

Yelp
It's been consistently mediocre/disappointing the last few visits in the past year that an updated review is needed. Burgers still need to be doused in ketchup/mustard/mayo/sauce in order to catch some semblance of flavor. I got the turkey club this time and it was *awful*. How can food be so greasy yet so flavorless? How can bacon made for a sandwich be so floppy/not crispy? And it's one of the most expensive items on the menu. I actually had to throw the remaining half away because no one else in my family would touch it with a 10 foot pole to help me finish it. And we love sandwiches, almost as much as how Joey Tribbiani loves sandwiches. Fries are completely flavorless. They always look so good, until you bite into them and you feel lifeless because you want to feel something, but you feel nothing. Similar to the burgers, they need to be fully dipped in your condiment/sauce of choice in order for it to taste like something. At this point of my disappointing meal, I just need a hit. A blast of flavor to feel alive again. Nope. Oh and the sweet potato tots....what in the world man? I'll let my pic speak for its portion size that we got. This location has been a repeat offender of skimpy portions (first the milk shake, now my tater tot's). All of these issues combined into this past meal = big sad face
google avatar

Crys F.

Yelp
Excellent food and service! If you like to partake of the flower, they have some delta 8 drinks available.
google avatar

McKena S.

Yelp
Hi Pointe is a nice spot to get a burger. Is it the best burger ever? Definitely not, but it's a decent one. Last night I ordered the cowboy burger and it was great, but it could have had more BBQ sauce. There's always something I wish there was more of in their burgers and seem to be lacking in flavor. I always think their shakes sound great but I'm never really impressed when I order them. I absolutely love their special sauce and used it to supplement the BBQ sauce on my burger, as well as dip my fries in it! Service is good, nothing outstanding, but everyone is nice.
google avatar

Sara G.

Yelp
Wanna know what I love about a burger joint? The fries ...and seeing what veggie and fish options they have. In this case, Hi-Pointe is #stlouispescatarianapproved @stlouispescatarians on instagram. The salmon sandwich is always amazing! The vibe here is fantastic from the statue greeting you on the way in to the bustling kitchen and line of hungry people.
google avatar

Shirley D.

Yelp
Who knew you could get such a great salad at a burger joint?! I hadn't been to the Hi-Pointe Drive-In since it opened. Perfect place to catch dinner before a movie next door. The salmon came out hot and cooked to perfection. Lots of yummy greens, walnuts, dried cherries and grilled onions. I ordered the lime vinegarette which was a perfect match. And, to my surprise they had my favorite local beer on tap, Old Bakery Beer Citrus Wheat. Win! Win! The music playing was upbeat! The servers checked your table often. After 5pm, you can park in the bank parking lot across the street. Next time I am trying the Greens & Grains Salad.
google avatar

Wil M.

Yelp
Some of the best unique burgers in the city, I go here often but one of my highlights is there a 314 burger that offers parts of St. Louis delicacies put together to make the ultimate St. Louis burger, that is the type of creativity you can expect daily at Hi point drive in. Polite wait staff and decent prices will have you coming back
google avatar

Jordan H.

Yelp
I got their daily special, it was a shrimp and sausage mixed with onions and peppers inside a hollowed out baguette. This thing was so delicious, the shrimp and sausage had a great flavor and were perfectly cooked, the peppers were just at the perfect level which gave a very slight crunch to everything. It also came with a side of oil or butter it was cooked in and that just pushed it over the top. It had so much flavor packed in but it didn't feel heavy after eating it. It was an easy process picking up the Togo order, I walked in said my name and they had it already ready to go. A great place for burgers and specials in a timely fashion.
google avatar

Robert W.

Yelp
So disappointing, had great hope for a shakes and tots. Took the wife on Mother's Day for a chocolate shake and were greated by a staff that was rude off putting. Of course that lack of care shows in their food . Our order of sweet potato tots was luke warn and squishy and not even half full. We spent $3.50 for 12 small tots (see pic) and the shakes were only 3/4 full!.....for a $7 shake you think they could at least try and fill the medium sized cup. Weird place, creepy uncomfortable vibe. Can't recommend to anyone, so many better places to spend your money in St. Louis.
google avatar

Robyn B.

Yelp
Service was terrible. My order was split in two due to an error by the cashier, which was fine. My son's food came 15 minutes after we ordered, my burger was missing. Two tables of patrons that came in after us received their orders. I asked one of the young me he said he'd check. 20 minutes later, I went back in to inquire about my order. A different young man went behind the counter to ask, and they had forgotten about it. When I finally received my burger, they had pulled American cheese off of it and added Swiss (I can't eat American cheese). A plain Frisco Melt took me nearly 40 minutes to receive. I've had better burgers and service at Culvers. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner last night and it was delicious as always! Not my favorite burger in Stl but still close. Tried the seasonal side of pork potstickers and it was pleasantly surprising they were so good and I highly recommend dipping into the special sauce! Workers are always so nice and welcoming and the patio is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your meal

Yelp
Fresh and well seasoned food. Best burgers in St. Louis. Service is always amazing. Nice, clean, and family friendly establishments.

Yelp
I am amazed I haven't written a review before today. I was actually here on opening day, so I have no idea how I missed/forgot to share with other Yelper how amazing the burgers and fries are here. My most recent visit I enjoyed a, Toklahoma. A double burger with American cheese, with pickles and seared in mustard over grilled onions. Damn, it was so good, I just have to remember how big their double burgers are. My eyes when ordering are always bigger than my tummy. The fries are always flawless. In my opinion, they may be some of the best fries in STL. They're always crisp on the outside, with a hot soft inside and perfectly salted. Not overly salted and not lightly salted. In the words of Goldilocks, "They're just right". I wanted one of their milk shakes so bad, but I knew if I did, I would have been stuffed for sure. So I went with the next best thing, an ice cold Root Beer. The staff is professional and friendly. The cashier is quick and makes the line move fast. The crew working the floor are hustling, delivering your food and busing the tables. As they do their work, they check on the customers making sure everything is okay and that they are enjoying the food. I recommend you give them a try. If you see a line, don't panic, they've got this and move quickly. Only problem, is getting a table if other diners are lingering.

Yelp
I came before closing around 9:20 pm and had a single cheeseburger meal. After waiting about 12 minutes I was given cold fries but I took this back and was promptly given fresh hot fries. The burger is like a smash burger and pretty good, vegetables were fresh. Do try.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick dinner on the way to the helium club for a comedy show. We all got burgers. I ordered the Frisco melt. It was a double burger with Swiss and American cheese, special sauce, and sourdough grilled bread. It was delicious. Juicy burger, and good grill on the bread. The only thing that would've made it perfect would have been grilled onions on it. The sandwich itself was plenty big enough to just eat on its own without a side. The sauce that they have on the table that is like a spicy ketchup Mayonnaise type sauce is really good on it. Also, if you do have french fries, this is really good instead of ketchup for the fries. Very casual dining. When you go in, you go on up to the counter. They will then give you a number to put at your table and they will bring your food out to you. Bonus: they do have an app that you can earn points on and get a free burger for your birthday.

Yelp
Food very bland and extremely overpriced for what it is. It's more about looking the part then being the part but can't complain enough about how overpriced this food is and ordering method is abysmal. Not gonna lie if anyone gives this place 5star question those that do. If this is the best burger spot for 5star review, then they live under a rock. Theirs far far better higher quality burgers in STL that don't even cost fraction like here.

Yelp
Good burgers and shakes. Good fries. Good customer service. Family friendly. For sure a place to try for a burger.

Yelp
I always love going to Hi-Pointe Drive-in because their specials of the day are always insane! During 12 Days of Lit'mas they collaborated with Sugarfire on a burger that had burnt ends on it and wooo... one of thy best I've had! It's easy, fast, casual check out counter service. Self serve drinks providing local favorites like Ski Soda. It's definitely worth the go!

Yelp
Gosh there is so much hype for this place. I wanted to love it. We got burgers, green beans and fries as takeout. I'll give them that takeout is never the same - especially for fries. The green beans were way over-seasoned and all 3 burgers and were fine. Sorry, but if you want a burger in St Louis, go to Mac's.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, tons of fun decor and articles about the owner. There was a line, but just long enough to decide what we wanted to order. We ordered, 2 kids meals, and 4 burgers, some fries and sweet potato tots. We found a table quickly, got our fountain drinks (house brand sodas) and sat to wait. You order at a counter and then various runners bring out trays of food. Here is where things kind of fall apart. The runners don't work on one order at a time. So one runner had a burger from our table and a meal from somewhere else. For the first 5 meals we got one every 5-10 minutes. So the first person was done eating by the time the third or fourth got their food. When our 5th meal was dropped off I stopped the runner (they drop food and move fast, the place is crowded and they hustle) we were still waiting on a kids grilled cheese for our toddler. He said he would check on it. About 10 more minutes go by and it's been an hour and 4 minutes since we ordered, everyone else at our table is done and I ask a different runner about the grilled cheese, the first guy sees and apologizes and says he will check. Another few minutes go by and I walk up to the counter to check on it and they say they are working on it. Original runner brings it out after a minute or two with a coupon for a free burger for next time. We aren't local so we have it to someone sitting near by. Food was good, pretty standard burgers and fries. Really fun decor, like the Good Burger car from the movie. I think if they ran one ticket at a time it would be a 5 star casual family burger place, and hopefully we just had an off experience.

Yelp
A place you may find out of a Hollywood movie scene it's decor is that quirky with space ship on roof and all. The 5th star is being held back because parking is atrocious and the neighborhood behind will tow. Counter service cafeteria style with menu boards. A variety of unusual burgers and are sure to please the most discerning burger connoisseur. The staff is efficient moving you through and smiles. Food is brought out to your table. The burgers, milkshakes and onion rings are college kid approved. Watch those shakes their huge and can be split. Every time in STL this is a must stop. Two thumbs up!

Yelp
LOVE this place, the service is nice, the food comes out quick and it is so yummy. The inside doesn't have too many places to sit because they are always so packed. I keep coming back because the environment is so fun and the secret sauce is sooooo good.
