22 Essential Breweries in the Austin Area

"Last year, Hi Sign left its rough-hewn warehouse by the airport and moved to a more central location in Govalle. The beers are calibrated to Austin’s warm weather, which means there are lighter styles along with dank IPAs and imperial stouts for those who partake. Service is warm in the spacious modern taproom, and staffers are happy to suggest favorites or offer a small sample to help patrons decide. There’s also a large outdoor area with picnic tables and food trucks Norte ATX and Ranch Hand for larger group get-togethers. Check the events calendar for regular comedy and trivia nights. There are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Tom Thornton

Google
They have a new brewer as of 5/2025 and the beer quality has shot up tremendously. If you had their beer before and thought it was OK or maybe we're not a fan, give it another try. The new brewer is slowly working through the beer list and it will take some time to get them all but, the Eastside pils is noticeably better and they have a new Bavarian Hefe that is fabulous.

Google
We had a great experience here. David, the bartender, was so knowledgeable and friendly and just made our experience exceptional. Beer was great, conversation even better. We had the Blueberry Blonde and the Holly St Haze. One of the best IPAs I’ve had. Highly recommended this place if you’re in Austin, TX.

Google
Brewery #4 in Part 2 of my Austin brewery visits. Hi Sign Brewery is an awesome spot with a great vibe and some seriously good IPAs. Tried a couple of their hoppy offerings, and both were on point—balanced, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a solid craft brewery. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for hanging out and enjoying a few pints. If you’re into IPAs or just looking for a chill place to grab a beer in Austin, definitely worth a visit! 🍻

Google
Went on a slow evening but overall a great time. Super chill and solid beers. Can’t wait to come back.

Google
This place has great vibe and one of the finest beers. Happy hour is amazing especially Monday. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The Hazy and the Barrel Aged beer is just aweosme. Its after long time I had really good Russian Imperial Stout, non boozy non sweet but just great taste. Great job brewing this beer.

Google
I visited here for the first time for the Barks for Beers event. I loved the atmosphere of this brewery and the service was great. There is plenty of parking. Also, there is dog friendly seating outside. I had The Violet - Pale Blonde Ale and it was so good! I will definitely visit again in the near future.

Google
This brewery is really nicely decorated and furnished inside. The beers were amazing… all were incredibly refreshing for the 105° weather…. However outside could use a few big fans or something because it gets HOT n STALE real quick out there… kinda tough being out there for more than 30 minutes.

Julio Herrera

Google
This place is exceptionally good. Great service and plenty of seating. If you are an avid craft beer drinker, this is a must visit. The selection is not huge, but what they lack in choice they make up with quality options. I was lucky to take home one of their Barrel aged, and it was such a great beer to have.

Yelp
Following a Yelp event, I stumbled into Hi Sign brewery and tried a Hazy IPA. The bartender was especially nice and offered the perfect beer for me. I was also able to get a nonalcoholic beverage for my friend who does not drink. My favorite part was that they had the hazy IPA and a four pack to go so that I could enjoy the beer at home. The brewery was very clean and would be a great place to study or work as it is moderately quiet, especially on a Sunday. I cannot wait to go back and share this with my friends and family!

Yelp
Gorgeous decor/ style details in this brewery, especially the wallpaper in the bathrooms! Great deal for happy hour as well $5 All Drafts! We wanted to try them all so we got all of them available. The beer quality was fantastic, you won't find a watered down/plain flavor like so many of them these days. Our favorites were the Shamus Irish Red, Wooderson IPA, and the HI-C IPA. They also offer cocktails and mocktails as well as a few options for wine, cider, and coffee. Great selection of to-go beers and merch. The place was extremely clean everywhere. They have 2 tvs and they were showing international soccer! We didn't see much of the staff, the woman working the counter frequently left and the limited people there had to wait a bit at the counter to get anything, but there wasn't many people around on a later Sunday day. The outside has a lot of potential, but most months it's just too hot with limited shade and no fans or misters and inside can get crowded and loud fast. A man came by with a dog and asked for water for it and he got a beer and they sat outside, but it was like 90 degrees and they both looked miserable, wish they could have come inside as there was basically no one there. Seemed odd with their branding about dogs, not having a kitchen or food to worry about, and most breweries around here are cool with it.

Yelp
I've visited Hi Sign several times now and have generally had a good time. There are lots of beers on tap, and I've enjoyed all of the ones I have tried. Now, I normally don't like to post anything negative, but I feel the need to mention my latest experience. My parents were in town last weekend, so my boyfriend and I decided to take them to Hi Sign after dinner at Holiday down the street (this was Friday, August 9th during the evening). There were 2 employees pouring beers at the bar. One, the older one, had AirPods in the entire time he was working and was extremely rude to us. We ordered 3 beers, and he handed us 2. We politely waited and when he didn't say anything, we asked for the 3rd beer we had already paid for. He rudely told us that he had already given it to us and that someone must have already taken it (even though we were the only ones standing at the bar and nobody else had come to the bar between when we ordered and that moment). He eventually agreed to pour another beer, and when he handed it to us, said "here it is, even though I already gave it to you". Additionally, the 3 beers we had ordered were 3 distinct beers. The third beer he poured was the same one as the second one (I'm forgetting the names now). We informed him of this, as we had watched him pour it, and he denied it and laughed at us. We tried them and confirmed that they were in fact the same. At this point, we decided to just leave it at that and walked away with the 3 beers, happy to at least have the quantity we paid for, even if it was not what we had asked for. Very disappointing experience with this particular employee. Perhaps he was just having a bad day, but that is no way to treat customers. We will certainly think twice before returning.
google avatar

Deanna W.

Yelp
I rarely give a poor review, but the way I was treated by an employee warrants it. I was screamed at for having a dog inside, when the brewery's branding on coasters is quite literally "drink beer and pet dogs". Their Instagram is also full of dogs visiting the brewery, so I had no idea they were not pet friendly. There was no sign from the door that I had entered in that said no dogs allowed. Obviously I would not have brought my dog indoors if there were clear signs. We were there for over an hour with some friends, minding our own business, when a bar back came storming towards us and yelled "NO DOGS INSIDE CANT YOU READ??" And pointed at small acrylic stick-on letters on a glass window that were hidden by an indoor yeti water tank... that has dog bowls beneath it. A polite "hey no dogs are allowed indoors in 103 degree heat, can you please go outside?" Would have been nice, but I guess hospitality has a different definition here. Their patio has no shade, fans, or misters... so it's not really a comfortable place for humans or dogs. Our group certainly won't be back. Plenty of amazing breweries in Austin to hang at where the staff is courteous... this isn't one of them.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner today and got a beer here and some food from Norte. I got the Mexican lager, with a lime of course, and it was refreshing and delicious! Would absolutely get it again and hope I can find it at a grocery store. Plenty of seating inside and outside. There is covered outside seating, too. Dogs allowed outside. Definitely recommend for a nice, modern brewery with some tasty food trucks on the same lot.

Yelp
This is such a cute spot! I came here for a little event where about a dozen people came through. The place is clean and the tables are big enough to accommodate about ten of us comfortably. The bathrooms are clean too. Hi Sign itself doesn't serve food, but there are several food trucks outside. I enjoyed some hot cocoa with some whisky in it. So tasty. They served these in nice mugs too. Everyone who bought something said their drinks were delicious. You can also get a coffee in a to go cup. The staff is all super friendly and came through multiple times to clear out our used dishes since we were doing crafts and had limited space on the table as we worked. TLDR: Spacious, relaxed, friendly and bustling staff, food trucks, and boozy hot cocoa.
google avatar

Mo C.

Yelp
This was a wonderful "last stop" on our way to the airport. Our beertender was wonderful and answered all of our beer questions. They have a couple of food trucks on the patio. The only one that was open when we stopped by was the Grilled Cheese truck, and they were out of most of the toppings. So, plan to be flexible on food when you visit. The beers are great! Lots of options and a little something for everyone. Stick to the beers. The cocktails are batched and honestly, just not very good. But, the beers more that make up for the cocktails ;)
google avatar

Jeay G.

Yelp
Loved everything about our experience. Reese was super knowledgeable and very personable. Don't live in the area so it'll be a treat moving forward. Don't sleep on their happy hour. $5 all drafts, wine, and draft cocktails. They also have great N/A options!

Jake W.

Yelp
The beer is fantastic, and the vibes are unbeatable! The space is relaxed and laid-back, with plenty of indoor and outdoor room, plus food trucks to enjoy. A big shout out to Justin, the General Manager at Hi Sign Brewing! Nearly a year ago, I needed a spot for a casual welcome-to-town gathering on short notice, and Justin and the team were incredibly kind and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Yelp
A great spot to grab a beer or cocktail. We came by on a Sunday afternoon looking for a slightly chiller spot to hang out and play some games. We got there around 2pm and the place was pretty quiet. A few tables inside and out that were taken, but for the most part, no lines at all. We grabbed our drinks and took a spot outside. The property is on the larger side and plenty of room for pets if you have them. They have multiple water bowls around for use which is always a plus. Inside, the place was nearly spotless. Everything looks and feels new which is always nice. We both ordered a couple of beers and very happy with our order. One side note, if you are there when drag bingo is happening next door, be prepared for some very loud screams and cheers outside. Plenty of street parking available as well.

Yelp
I came in to this cute little spot last weekend with some of my Yelp work peeps. We only came in for drinks so I cant comment on the food. What I got: Tito's Blueberry Spritz What's the perfect way to start brunch? With bubbles and Tito's Handmade Vodka, of course. This drink was refreshing and light yet if you drink more than one, it will get you there! The service experienced while here was quick, polite and accurate.

Yelp
Call me picky, but I was not impressed by this brewery. Came on a Thursday evening and still had an issue finding parking. The outside had limited shade and was HOT. I usually take my dogs to breweries but wouldn't come here with them unless it was cooler. Beer selection was small, though something for everyone including a few wines Food truck was closed so Plan on getting food elsewhere. I didn't even see snacks available at the tap. It was clean inside but very dingy. No games like most breweries have inside. Dogs are not allowed inside which was very odd for a spot that doesn't have food. At least there weren't kids running around. No TVs. I guess there was wifi as lots of people were on laptops. Bathrooms were probably the only thing I enjoyed, fun wall paper.

Yelp
This place has vibes and is among the places I find in austin borrowing a CA aesthetic. It's also clear they recently opened (as in within the last yr or so). We stopped by on a 2023 March Saturday afternoon when they happened to be hosting the Austin Flea. It was surprisingly slow (Austin, are y'all okay when it comes to the brewery scene? What's going on y'all?). The service was friendly & nice. Our beertender we offered a recommendation or two but as avid craft beer drinkers, we have our standard go to's/baseline beers before we get too creative with a new place. The Eastside Pilsner is a solid easy drinking brew
google avatar

Lucas E.

Yelp
Rad spot to grab some brews! Modern and a bit chic, but also comfortable and chill which is kinda hard to pull off. The beers are excellent. Creative and really well conceptualized. Hip vibes, cool staff. It is great! Drink Texas beer!
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place to host an event no need to look further than Hi-Sign! The atmosphere inside and out is fantastic along with great service. The variety of drinks makes it a location for anyone whether you are wanting beer or liquor. I was unable to taste from the food trucks, but some of my party did and they enjoyed it.
google avatar

Jenny M.

Yelp
This place has a great vibe. We went on a Sunday in the afternoon and it was steady but not super busy. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the Violet and their October fest. Pretty standard October fest very rich and malty. Definitely impressed with the Violet. A fruity blonde ale with notes of blueberry, wasn't very sweet and not very light, you taste the notes of blueberry. I recommend checking that beer out. If you don't like beer, they have coffee, wine and specialty cocktails. Great place for everyone not just beer lovers. The outside seating has outdoor games and a food truck. Will definitely come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome beer, decent location (right under the flight path which is actually kinda cool to see and bummer for them right now with all the construction) Great brewery in Austin nestled on the Eastside close to the airport Brewery is right under the flight path which is actually kind of cool to see the planes fly over so close and it doesn't happen crazy often I feel super bad for the brewery because there has been crazy construction on the freeway in front, so if you are looking to go here, make sure you use gps to help you get to the right exit. If you are looking for some great beer (IPAs, Stouts, and blueberry lager were my favorites), then check this place out!

Katherine G.

Yelp
We love Hi Sign Brewing! It feels like old Austin here. My husband likes all the IPA's and I like the blondes, sours, and pilsners. The building is cool and the beertenders are always friendly and helpful. The clientele ranges in age and there are no 4 year old birthday parties in sight. And the parking is easy.

Meredith B.

Yelp
My husband loves the beers, and they have both wine and delicious cocktails for me and other non-beer drinkers. Two newish food trucks, both are excellent. Great place to hang out with friends.
google avatar

Brian N.

Yelp
Hi Sign Brewing's new location on Shady Lane opened on 7/9/22. It is a very nice and has bar stools, bench seating, and couch style seats as well. It is a very nicely decorated taproom with a large mural inside. There are some seats outdoors, but limited shade, so it can be quite hot during the summers. The parking lot is fairly large, so parking shouldn't be an issue. They serve beer, coffee, cocktail, and wine here. The staff mentioned that they will be expanding their cocktail and wine selection. Dogs are allowed outside only. Burro cheese food truck is on-site in the parking lot serving grilled cheese. If ordering food, you need to order directly with the food truck.
google avatar

Yelp
YES to Hi Sign. Hi Sign has what a lot of breweries are lacking which is focus a clean, simple focus of great beer and bringing people together.... They have a great selection of brews including a sour which the names escapes me but i'd go back for alone. I really like that this place isn't filled w/ electronics (games, tvs, etc), you can actually go and enjoy the company of friends w/ a cold drink. It's a clean design inside w/ some minor acoustic issues but that's not uncommon in large buildings. . The staff was fantastic. Old school Austin friendly vibe. They also have a large outside area which i really like. I did go when it was cold so the standard brutal Texas heat wasn't an issue. The bathrooms were clean and adorable. My only negative is the prices of the T-shirts. Holy hanna, I wanna rep your brewery but I don't get paid THAT much. I'll defiantly be back and I'll still verbally rep them for keeping things simple and great.
google avatar

Gary B.

Yelp
The beer was great and the staff was superb when they could hear the customer's orders. The venue has major acoustic problems which make it very difficult to hear someone even near you when a crowd is inside. We would have stayed longer for more beer if the noise was better controlled. Not sure how the staff stands being in their so long when it's busy. So basically, if there is a small crowd, highly recommended. If not, I would go somewhere else.
google avatar

Neal E.

Yelp
Awesome craft brewery! Really great range of IPA's! The brewer has a great understanding of IPA flavor profiles. I did a tasting flight of 5 IPA's. All were awesome! Both staffers working the bar were cool - and we had some fun and interesting conversations about brewing. Please note that getting into this craft brewery my be a bit difficult in the near term. Road construction is currently blocking access to one end of the road that leads to the brewery. Both Apple Maps and Waze were unaware of the fact that one end of the road is closed for construction. Both apps attempted to direct me a way which is currently inaccessible. #HiSignBrewing
google avatar

Adam S.

Yelp
Clean place, but expensive, and they don't take cash because of the bat flu scamdemic. I'm like if you touch my card with your hands it's the same thing, bartender said it's the change i take home that is dangerous but she isn't afraid of germs. Awkward. Dogs are not allowed inside but we went in anyway, food truck was closed. Spent like $12 with tip for one beer.

J A.

Yelp
Don't come here if you have a dog. Not a dog friendly environment. They will let you come in with the dog, and as soon as you order a drink, they will tell you to please exit the bar. I understand, but the outside accommodations lack proper shade, fans, misters or anything else to make it through a 105 degree plus Texas day. It's literally an asphalt parking lot with picnic tables. I'll say the beers are great, but if your goal is to let your furry buddy have a day out with the family, this isn't the place.

Micah E.

Yelp
Great beer. Happy hour is a crazy good deal! Seems like a great vibe to get some work done or have a nice conversation.
google avatar

Rolando E.

Yelp
I always love checking out new breweries in Austin. I saw Hi Sign Brewing as I was driving home one day and decided to check them out. It's in a great spot in East Austin. I tasted a couple of different beers they had on tap and really enjoyed them. They have nice indoor seating and a nice outdoor patio that would be great when the temps and humidity go down. I really like the convenience of their location and you don't have to fight for parking. I will be visiting them as frequently as time allows.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
It's safe to say I've found my favorite Austin brewery. Hi Sign is AWESOME! We got a flight of four beers ($10) and they were all fantastic. My favorite has to be The Astronaut - a bitter and hoppy double IPA that wasn't too sweet. The space itself is amazing. They have indoor seating, a deck, as a huge yard with picnic tables and hammocks. It's dog friendly (out back at least), and an all around beautiful space to spend an afternoon. There's a second room with TVs, games (some big connect 4s and jenga), and more seating as well. The staff is great too - they're super friendly and knowledgeable. Also, fun extra, it's right in the path of the planes coming to land at the airport. So, if you sit outside, you can watch the planes fly low overhead. Inside, they have a screen that tracks nearby flights. Cool!
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
This is a neat new location with a young loud vibe. Parking can be a challenge. Good food truck on site. Inside seating in the air conditioning; outside on picnic tables.
google avatar

Kris U.

Yelp
This brewery has wide open spaces, both inside and outside, making it a very pleasant beer drinking experience. Inside you will find custom made carved wood benches with lots of seating, plus a selection of games. Outside is additional bench seating, in a beautiful green space filled with lovely oak trees strung with colorful hammocks. Considering it is only their second week open, the have a nice variety with their six beers, likely something to satisfy every beer taste. I'm not a huge red beer fan so I was nicely surprised with the Fiddler Irish Red's subtle hops and easy drinkability (yes, I did make up that word). The Blood Orange Coffee stout is a decent stout but the blood orange doesn't really come through (it is a difficult task for a fruit to compete with the stronger coffee flavor of a stout). The stalwart Astronaut Double IPA was a well balanced IPA with grassy and fruit forward notes, and is a steal at $6 for the pint, given the 9.5% ABV!
google avatar

Josh H.

Yelp
I ended up stopping by Hi Sign on the way to the airport. Construction is currently a bit heavy in the area, but it is a great place to pull off on and have a couple beers right by the airport! Hi Sign is a newer establishment, is very clean and well put together. It is a smaller and simpler venue to others I have been to, but it was a nice stop off the beaten bath. Their beers are pretty solid, the Winter Stout was awesome, just beware that they come in very small glasses!! Shamus was a great beer, ended up having a couple of those because of how refreshing it was! Price was super cheap. It will end up running you about $5 a beer, which leaves the wallet open for more! Overall: 4 Venue: 3 Service: 4 Food: N/A Drinks: 5 Price: $
google avatar

Britt D.

Yelp
What a great place! Parking is a little sketch as you sometimes have to make your own but I definitely liked the vibe and the area. There's plenty of seating outside and people are able to bring their dogs. I saw a lot of families as well. There was a good on truck on Saturday and the food smelled really good, but it started pouring rain so I left. I would definitely come back and try more of the beer. The blueberry one was quite delicious. I loved that it wasn't super sweet. Will definitely come back and hope the food truck is there :)

Yelp
I didn't even know this place existed until our homebrew club had a meeting here last month! It's tucked away into Old Bastrop Highway which is that street in the weird interchange of US 183 to SH 71. If the traffic is heavy on 183, good luck trying to turn onto the street--you might have to wait a few minutes. Once you get there though, the brewery space is vibrant and FUN. While there is no a/c (ugh), there are plenty of picnic tables inside and out. There's also jumbo games (connect 4, jenga) for the adults or kids. There's even a large chalk wall. When you step onto the patio, it overlooks a green space adorned with hammocks. Great space for kids to run around! Now, the beer. They had 6 six beers on top while we were there. Nothing blew us away while we were there, but they're new so my boyf and I will give them some time to work on their beers. I thought the Irish Red wasn't malty enough (and I love Irish reds). Nothing faulty with the beer per se, just middle of the road right now. Still worth giving this new biz a chance!
google avatar

Katharine G.

Yelp
This place is great! There's plenty of room in the back for your dogs to run .Giant connect four to play. A huge chalk board to get your creative juices flowing. The beer is awesome. Ubuntu Stout is amazing and it's made with coffee beans from Kenya! It was rich and delicious.
google avatar

Gloria O.

Yelp
Had a delicious sour cider drink on a hot Texas afternoon...it was perfect. Very friendly staff. Dogs are not allowed inside but plenty of outside tables where they can sit with you.
google avatar

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Their violet is awesome which is a blueberry blonde beer. It was a little confusing to find because of construction but that's no fault of their own. Chill vibe and relaxing atmosphere.

Yelp
I went back and forth between a 4 and 5... Finally settled on a 4 because, at this point, Hi Sign isn't quite caught up with several of the other local breweries, but they seem to be well on their way. I stopped in on Saturday after spending the morning hiking at McKinney Falls State Park. Their indoor space is fantastic! Industrial chic with natural edge wood tables, communal style. I made friends with a couple of French Bulldogs then treated myself to a couple of pints. I opted for the Lil' Naut (a 7.0% ABV version of their big double IPA) to start. It was an absolutely amazing brew. This IPA was amazingly juicy with a relatively low IBU. Sneakily easy drinking and fantastically tasty. This little guy is a little more dry than their Double IPA. This is a destination beer. If you are an IPA fan, it's worth the trip to this hidden gem. I then had a Sheamus Irish Red which clocked in at a much more sessionable 4.6% (if memory serves). This little guy was quite good as well but was overshadowed by the opening IPA. Since this brewery is a little bit of a drive from my house, I hope these guys have a few more lower ABV options along the lines of this Irish Red in the future. Bonus: Huge, beautiful outdoor seating area shaded by old growth trees, with foodtruck. Picnic tables abound and hammocks await your lounging. I will be bringing my wife and pups here to spend a lazy afternoon, soon.

Michael W.

Yelp
This is my spot. Hang here like 5x a week. Excellent beer, warm and inviting service and atmosphere, chill but fun at the same time. Can't get enough. Thanks y'all!
google avatar

Kristina M.

Yelp
What a beautiful, open space at this brewery! The brews were good and the space was beautiful and relaxing. I had a delicious stout. You have long wooden tables, games, a chalkboard to channel your inner artistic and creative child, and a green backyard to lounge around. They even have hammocks in the back. It is seriously a cozy and relaxing feel that makes me feel as if I am chillin' at home. I've never had a brewery conjure those types of feels before but Hi Sign makes me feel as if I should expect it! It's also really close to the airport, so it's a great stop when you are leaving or coming from the Austin Bergstrom International Airport. I highly recommend this place!

Tracey T.

Yelp
Nice brewery with a cool vibe. We have had the Violet beer before out and about, and needed to come see where it came from. The place felt very clean and there was a nice view of the woods. It is a little tricky to get here because of road construction, but do not let that discourage you. Come out and support this neat place.

L R.

Yelp
5 stars for the Super Astronaut DIPA, 2 for the weak and overly limey vodka soda and zero for the customer service. There were 4 other groups, it wasn't busy on a Friday night at all. The service was bland. Two servers were hard to even engage with. Almost seemed as if it were a hassle to serve us. It's too bad business isn't appreciated.

Yelp
Interesting experience. We arrived at 7:45 before closing. We were served some delicious beer. Right at 8 PM, several people entered and were turned away. Before they could leave the parking lot, another group arrived. Hugs and kisses all the way around. They were served well after closing. Interesting! If people arrive right at closing, and your establishment is pretty busy already, why turn them away only to greet your friends and offer hospitality?

Yelp
Really enjoyed our time at Hi Sign Brewing. The open industrial space is great. The tasting room is in the brewery itself. So you can see were all the magic happens. The real wood carved tables are impressive. I loved the open format and great oversized games they had - connect four, jenga, etc. On the other side of the parking lot the building looks out to a grove of trees with picnic tables and hammocks spread throughout. A great place to just chill and relax with some good brews. They are dog and child friendly. There was only one staff member on hand and he was knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered a flight of beers to sample a bit of what they had to offer. As you all know, I am not the beer expert in the family, but I actually enjoyed the majority of these beers. They were all well structured, full of flavor, and smooth. My favorite was the Double IPA (creamy silky smoothness with a nice light spicy end). Followed by the Fiddler Irish Red Ale, and the Blood Orange Ubuntu Coffee Stout. The one I didn't like as much as it had a soapy quality was the single IPA.

Yelp
It's hard to find and rough road for my little car. Right under the flight path which makes it hard to carry on a conversation with more than one other person. We sat outside and my left foot got bitten up by ants. So painful and itched for more than a week. Food truck food was good and beer was good. Not in a hurry to go back.

Yelp
Grand opening tomorrow so we came a day early. Tried out the 5 beers they have so far. Irish Red - lightest flavour of the 5, totally drinkable. Easy to like this one. My favourite. Blonde - akin to any American style lager. More flavour in this one. I could drink this all night. Pale ale - here's where the flavours stark kicking in. My wife's second favourite. Really good beer if you like Fireman's 4 or Blue moon. Blood Orange Coffee - stout like in color and flavor. Coffee is right up front and nice if you are into stouts. "Astronaut" Double IPA - stronger pale ale flavour and has nice citrus notes up front. Good for IPA lovers. All of these beers are great and we will be here for the grand opening March 18th for the all you can eat crawfish boil. $15 for the crawfish and your first pint.

Yelp
Hi Sign Brewing was the first stop during our Austin trip and I'm so happy that it was. The atmosphere was great, the beer was delicious and unique, and the staff was incredible. This is the ultimate neighborhood bar and everyone needs to experience it for themselves! Highly recommend.

Yelp
This brewery is awesome! The facility is expansive and fun. The beers here are solid. You can buy pints or flights . I prefer IPAs so we tried those first, they were great. We then tried the pale ale and red, again both solid beers. I'd definitely try a flight to determine favorite, then grab a pint. This brewery is close to the airport, and the planes literally fly right over! It's really cool! We sat in the hammocks they provide (all kammock brand) and just enjoys the trees and planes with a good beer! The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the facility is dog and kid friendly!

Yelp
You wouldn't necessarily notice that this is a brewery from the outside, but it's a big space (lots of indoor and outdoor) with good, upbeat music (MIA vibes) and tasty beer. There's cornhole and a few frisbee golf baskets. Dog friendly, of course.
