I have to say before hand I love hi tone, ive been coming here off and on for 6 years, but tonight was emo-ween witch was advised as a free even on both Instagram as well as there own website show in photo, I arrived tonight with a group of 6 and we were all dressed up and told it was 20$ and that you had to had to pre order tickets for it to be free, which reading through listing, is not mentioned, our halloweens were ruined high-key. Really disappointed.

Had not been to the 'new' location since they moved off of Poplar. We went for the Curiosity and Oddity Market. Had a great time. Good venue for it. Lots of vendors and a ton of people coming and going. We spent some money, brought some stuff home, and had a few drinks. Shout out to the bartenders, especially Bickers of 'Rocky and Mooseknuckle' fame.will be dropping in soon for some music. They host music all of the time. Posting some of the QR codes and signs from a few vendors. Some local and some a little regional. All were great.

I don't really know what to say about this place. It's basically a nightclub tight place I guess. There's a bar and if you're hungry I think they serve pizza or something. It's got an upstairs and the downstairs and they have different things going on, like bands and whatnot. I usually go to this place on the first Sunday of the month for drag bingo.

I'm older than the normal crowd & haven't been to HiTone in years; I came to see my grandson's band play, Radar Blips. I loved the atmosphere, the people - customers AND staff - and just everything! Everyone was having a great time on this 4th of July - including me!

Review for Hi Tone Memphis - Kickback Party Had a great time at the Kickback at Hi Tone! The venue has a real Memphis vibe—chill but stylish. The bartenders were cool, drinks were solid, and the place felt secure the whole night, which I appreciated. Definitely a good spot if you’re looking for a laid-back party atmosphere with good energy. I’ll be back.

Fugitive Droids, my son's band, held an EP release party at Hi-Tone. It's as advertised, an old dive bar. Eclectic seating but seating - rare in some venues. Not much in liquor selections but the food was really good. We each had a patty melt with fries. Both top notch. Parking can be challenging as are negotiating the accessibility issues. Bathrooms were clean, unisex, but handled discreetly. Had a good time and that's what mattered.

For the most part, I really like that HiTone has plenty of space for those looking to hang out and/or host an event like a market or concert. I also like that the food served is pretty good and features some healthy options like hummus and veggies. While I’m not a huge fan of the fact that there are smoking areas and that most of the night events don’t offer snacks to go with drinks (I have a high sensitivity to alcohol so it’s impossible for me to finish a drink without going tipsy), all in all, if you’re looking for a fun place to hang out at that’d also located within close proximity of some of Memphis’s finest attractions like The Black Lodge and Crosstown Concourse, then I recommend giving HiTone a try. At least parking around the area hasn’t been too bad thus far.

Super small, great BIG vibe. Shout out to Left Lane Cruisers! They hold concerts downstairs and upstairs. We were upstairs. My boyfriend was an a$$, but Joe was awesome. And, the drinks and jello shots were cheap! Tickets are only fifteen bucks. Very well lit. Lots of cameras near the entrances. I would definitely go back.
