Hibachi Bros (Food Truck)

This is a MUST try when in HTX! The portion size was insane and more than enough to feed 2 people. The steak, rice, and veggies were seasoned to perfection. The food came out steaming hot! We did wait awhile to get our food but we went at a busy time and it was definitely worth the wait.

Absolutely amazing …a hidden gem I’m so glad I found it. They made my special rice with no egg. My hibachi trio was magnificent!! 10/10 would recommend! The stellar customer service by Darius and delicious green apple lemonade were a bonus!! Update 3/23/25: the food was so good I had to spin the block!! This time I got chicken and shrimp still a 10/10!! Get two garlic butter sauces!! Your welcome!!

Best hibachi in town ! Delicious food, great customer service, great people. Football team loved every bite of the Bro-Rito . Definitely 10/10. Will be back each time we are in Houston 🙌🏾

Went to get a steak & shrimp Brorito last Sunday for the first time. While the wait was a tad bit long it was totally worth it! The food was seasoned and perfect! Everything was fresh and the gentleman working the truck was great too. Stayed hot all of the way home & I live far. Highly recommend food truck. Will be back!

My son took me to this hibachi spot (food truck) and I MUST say I am impressed 😋 👌 that shrimp plate was delicious better than Benihana would definitely recommend. Nice seating area outside was perfect.

The customer service was warm and welcoming from the moment I walked up. I ordered the steak & shrimp hibachi with a extra side of vegetables. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The food was flavorful, the space was clean, and I left completely satisfied. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Ordered the NY Steak medium, meat was well done, over cooked. Then they weren’t on time with hving the food ready. Third time ordering out, same result every time. Last time

So I placed an order on line today through google door dash , and pay with Apple Pay . Once I placed the order I get a confirmation saying they will text me. , when ready, 2 minutes later I get a text saying in my order been canceled because no one can filled the order, and that my money would be back on my card in 3days‼️Mind you I’m driving from Katy Tx to food truck which is in 3rd Ward on Almeda.. so I get there , of course they wasn’t open, but there were cooks inside the truck so I spoke with one the employees he informed me they wasnt opening til 8pm. So I how door I get a refund he said they don’t have anything to do with DoorDash😳 so I told him I will be back at 8pm cause I really want my food , the food so dang good. So fast forward it’s 8;20 now Um back at the truck. The same guy I spoke with earlier told me that they still want be ope til probably 9pm. He said I seen your order, but we couldn’t filled it cause we got to get the catering order out and delivered so we want open til 9/930. So you charge take orders on line just swipe my card and canceled my order me, then tell me my money want go back to my card til 3days. I know you lying😡 then is real bad customer service good as this food is , but this customer is so terrible.

Tried Hibachi Bros on Uber Eats, and I will say it was better than I expected, just based off of reviews and all of the recent Hibachi places to open up. I ordered the steak and chicken combo plate with fried rice and garlic noodles with a side of garlic butter. The plate was seasoned well, and the protein was cooked to a good temperature. Now, the garlic noodles were a bit salty, but nothing deal breaking. I'd definitely order again.

Food was great. Kind of a long wait but worth it, the location is convenient with a cool vibe-it's located in a food truck park with lots of other options.

I might tell you a joke, but I'll never tell you a lie!! Hibachi Bros I need to go to church this morning and thank the Lord for y'all because everytime I come to houston, I have to come and everytime I come, the food is consistently delicious lol. It's mouth watering from the smell and the flavors are going to pop every. time. Everytime I've come they've been super nice in the window. They take my complicated order and are patient with me and I get this amazing meal out of it everytime. I bring a friend and they are always happy with their food. At this point, this is the only hibachi truck I'll eat from. If it's busy it will take a minute, but it's worth it! The juice was sweet, fire, if you don't like super sweet things it might be a bit much. There are other trucks in the parking lot as well. They have a nice seating area with lights, it's a cool little vibe. Love love love coming here omg, I'm about to eat my leftovers now. The portions are healthyyyyyy

Wanted hibachi late night & we found this spot! We drove all the way from Baytown. The food was amazing! The service was amazing! Definitely will be coming back. The garlic butter is a WINNER! Overall GREAT experience!

It pains me to write this review as we love to patronize Black-owned businesses, so I'll be brief. Great concept, mediocre execution. Long wait time for relatively bland food with bland sauces (except the Yum sauce which was delicious.) If you're drunk and just want some filling food, and can call ahead to avoid the long wait, go for it. If you're driving in from the other side of Houston or some suburb because you heard about this place, fuggetaboutit!

I've ordered from here numerous times on Uber eats. Takes forever but the food is yummy and there's enough on the plate for more than one sitting. My gripes...1) The steak is never cooked to the right temperature. 2) if the filet is really a filet, the quality, especially for the cost, is trash. The food is flavorful and I'll keep eating it.

Such a major bummer! I waited over an hour, and they canceled my order. I've had their food before and actually enjoyed it quite a bit, but I have had nothing but trouble getting orders fulfilled past couple months. I hope they are able to order enough to fulfill orders in the future.

Food is crazy expensive and doesn't even taste good nor is even seasoned service is terrible the guy who runs the truck is crazy rude and aggressive, I asked how much longer on a order 11 minutes after he said 12 minutes very calm like and normally, he then started cussing at me and getting super aggressive and mean. Not sure if he just had a bad day but it was completely un acceptable and strange behavior I highly do not suggest going here

This food truck has been on my list of places to try for a while now and we finally went and got some the other day. They were all super friendly and good service. The food was pretty good, gives you a lot too. Pretty good flavors, not gonna lie, based on reviews was expecting to be blown away because there were a lot of 5 str reviews, and it wasn't bad, but also nothing that blew me away. It was good food, good serving size and worth it though.

Service was slow but that probably because of all the door dash and Uber eats orders . It's also not cheap but the food is quality. I'd definitely recommend the steak over the chicken.

I visited Hibachi Bros on Sunday and it was amazing!!! The owner was very nice and personable. I told him it was my first time there & he helped me choose the best plate on the menu. "The Seafood Trio" it came with a lot of food. I had leftovers. The area was nice & clean. I will definitely be back.

Ordered here twice through UBER EATS!!! Both times the food was amazing and fresh!!! Ordered the chicken and steak with fried rice and vegetables!! Let's not forget the yum yum sauce!!

I was craving a steak burrito packed to the max. I got that. Steak with fried rice broccoli and onions! So delicious! DO NOT FORGET YOUR BRO SAUCE! super filling and satisfying! Definitely worth the wait. They were out of steak and had to wait for more to come but I'd do it again.

I'd say they're pretty tasty . I drove from kingwood to give them a try . I got the steak lobster & shrimp platter along with a steak & chicken plate. The garlic butter is delicious definitely packed with flavor I thought my steak was a little tough though I ordered it medium on one plate and medium well on the other . I was hoping for maybe some juicy lobster but was very salty & almost over cooked . Sorry guys . I tried to call ahead a few times but was unfortunately not able to order ahead so be prepared for about a 20/25 min wait . Not bad but I had a far drive home. I'll definitely stop by to give it a second go if I am in the area .

The food is truly high quality. The customer service is outstanding. The food is obtained in less time than expected and they actually bring it to you with a smile.

This restaurant lacks organization and professionalism. I ordered for delivery and watched 5 drivers drop my order. Only after waiting over an hour the last driver informed me that they did not have the ingredients to make my order. Why didn't the business cancel my order over an hour ago if they could not deliver their product. Many of their reviews are similar to my experience! I was looking forward to trying a new place however am left disappointed.

I was a little skeptical of upscale hibachi from a food truck, but I was pleasantly surprised by Hibachi Bros. Both the steak plate and the chicken burrito were solid, and I liked how the chicken burrito successfully combined Mexican (burrito) and Asian (fried rice) fare. Good spot for a quick takeout dinner. (FYI, you can order on UberEats.)

The guy is always super nice and hospitable. Food is amazing. Definitely recommend! It's worth the price.

I just recently had Hibachi Bros and I was extremely satisfied. I got the Salmon and Shrimp plate. The sauces I chose was the Samurai Sauce the Garlic butter and that combination is unmatched until further notice. The food took about 15 mins but that's expected because everything is suppose to be fresh. Side veggies were great! Wasn't a fan of zucchini until I took a chance them them. I NEED to return for the Lobster plate!

Most overpriced mediocre crap I've ever eaten. $17 for a plate of chicken with fried rice when 85% of the plate was rice and only the chicken was layered on top to make it look like it was full. their prices are stupid ridiculous. I felt like I was in New York when I was looking at the menu and it wasn't even that good. I don't know what's the deal with black businesses always trying to rip their own off but steer clear of this place unless you want to get swindled for a mediocre food that's priced like it's a fancy steakhouse.

To start, I'll say the taste of the rice is on point and the garlic butter is great. Since it was our first time, the guy who took our order gave us one of each sauce to try, so thank you for that. Now for the bad, unfortunately. I had the shrimp and lobster combo. For $37 or total $70, I hoped for a little bit more. The lobster was shameful to be honest. It was overcooked, salty and seem like someone chewed it and spit it back in the shell. For the prices, plating something like that isn't right. My son had the New York strip steak and shrimp. He thought it was good. I may try it again one day, but not for a while because I hate wasting money.

I can't even rate the food because I just spent the last 30 minutes cleaning it off my garage floor. We waited 30 minutes for our order and the moment we got home, the bottom of the paper bag fell out. Food and sauce was all over my garage. I immediately called Hibachi Bros to explain what happened. I was told by the gentleman he would call me back. 25 min later I received a call asking if I was on my way back up. He never told me to head back to the food truck park so the question didn't make any sense. I explained to him that I didn't live near the park and it was almost midnight. At this point, I am annoyed with the cleanup and the line of questions. I ask for a refund and am told he would have to call me back. Shortly after, he calls me back and tells me his manager has refused a refund. I'm completely flabbergasted. I just swept $90 of food up and I can't get a refund?! I was told I can receive a credit. However, after the lack of customer service and compassion, a credit is not going to remedy this situation. I try my best to support local Black businesses. However, horrible customer service will never get my support. The gentleman even had the audacity to ask for a good review. You've got to be kidding me... So now I get to spend more money because my teenager is still hungry. Thanks Hibachi Bros! I just love wasting money.

I GOT SICK AS A DOG! Some family and I got here in Texas (Htown) 3 days ago. We come a couple times out of each year. We then came across this place, truck looks good and clean, line was long so we assumed they were good (why we picked it) , service was nice, but took forever to get our food. But when we got it it tasted pretty good I guess. There were a few things I felt was over hyped. Kinda like a fast food commercial, it looks good on tv but in person........ ya .. But anyways, all day I felt good and healthy, ate at other places while being out here, but that specific day I ate here, I had only at breakfast, then a small snack halfway in the day, then them later that day. Went to sleep not feeling to good (mind you I don't drink alcohol really and didn't drink that day), I wake up after 3:40am throwing up everywhere! Feeling weak, chills, and all other symptoms to make me think it's food poisoning. Next day I couldn't hold anything down to save my life, halfway through the day I drank water a couple times but 5-10 min later I'd just throw it all up again. Next day I was supposed to get back on the plane to head back to Cali, but I was so sick I had to extend my stay. I can't imagine being on a plane going through this, but I ended up getting on a flight waaaay later going straight to cali. I'm finally home, it's 3am & im finally holding down the first thing I've ate & it's a POPSICLE! Otter pop to be exact smh.

After reading a review in theChronicle, we decided to visit this truck for dinner. Best decision of the day! Great, healthy food, good options, tasty &memorable. Can't wait to return. Once the weather becomes cooler the Food Truck park will be a nice spot to enjoy a meal. These guys are worth supporting.

I ordered on UberEats. Food was plentiful and delicious. The garlic butter sauce is insanely good. I ordered the chicken entree and garlic noodles, and there is easily enough for two meals. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. This food truck is better than most restaurants. One of my new favorite places to eat.

Fuego Hibachi better than Benihana and all the fancy "sit down" places where the chef puts on a show and it's seasoned from whatever meat you choose down to the rice and veggies

This is my first time ordering food there. The presentation of the food looked good. I ordered the New York strip steak entree, garlic noodles. The taste wasn't what I was looking for from a hibachi eatery. The food was too salty and tangy. The flavors made my palate angry because they were all over the plate but nothing seemed to go together. And the area where the restaurant resides definitely need not to serve customers a plate of salt & funny flavors that do not go together. So I will be returning the food in person for a full refund on tomorrow.

I'm usually a bit skeptical purchasing and eating food from food trucks but Hibachi Bros has become an exception. Food was fresh, packaged nicely, and delicious! Definitely will try them out again in the near future!

The food was great! Had great customer service and made sure I knew what to order as I was a first timer. I'll be back for sure!
