The establishment is easy to locate. There is plenty of parking around the area, but if you’re staying in Deep Ellum is at a walkable distance. The restaurant is small, but welcoming. It is nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, they have plenty of sushi options, but also other type of dishes. Overall would recommend coming if you’re visiting Deep Ellum.

Google
We came across this place late one night and we were glad they were open! We had a great experience. We started with a ginger salad and the cucumber crab salad and then got the deep ellum and hibiki special rolls. Everything was delicious and fresh. Yummy lychee martini. Friendly staff. Nice, upbeat playlist. Recommend!

Google
The karage chicken was really good! The roll was alright for me but the Yakisoba was very tasteful.

Jonathan Ray

Google
Really good sushi, and a reasonable price for their happy hour menu which ends at 7, lots of good rolls and appetizer , and all the popular adult beverages on the happy hour menu

G Coleman

Google
My sushi was decent. I ordered a shrimp tempura and what my ex taste like however, I did not get any ginger or wasabi, but it was OK.

Google
Second visit and this is now our favorite sushi restaurant. Two superb experiences. Food is freshly prepared. My husband loves the calamari and the Frankie sushi. I only eat deep fried sushi and it's by far the best I've had in DFW. The owner, Jin, very pleasantly made a suggestion when I wanted specific items in my sushi roll and remembered us when we came back. Amazing customer service. 10/10⭐ Give them a try, you will become regulars like we now are.

Google
I came in for Happy Hour on a Friday. They have a great Happy Hour from to 7. Many different items under $11. The place was mostly empty, service was fast. Food was good, I liked everything except for the Spicy Salmon Roll. Would definitely recommend and return.

Google
Out here on a sushi date and absolutely loved the sushi boat. Wished we could do substitutions but besides that point I am still impressed; the drinks were good. Not super strong but you dont need to be smashed. I liked their happy hour options. My server was super chilled - Gen Z kind of vibes with big curly hair. He deserves all the props for service. Tempura cheesecake?! Liiiiisten. It was delicious!

Yelp
Hibiki Sushi offers a delightful escape with its quiet and serene atmosphere, perfect for an evening of fine dining. My recent visit was a pleasant experience, highlighted by their well-crafted dishes and inviting ambiance. The Tuna Tower was a standout, presenting a fresh and flavorful combination that was both visually appealing and delicious. The layers of tuna, avocado, and rice melded together beautifully, making each bite a delightful blend of textures and flavors. Equally impressive was the Garlic Edamame. Infused with a robust garlic flavor and a hint of spice, these edamame were a perfect appetizer, offering a flavorful kick that left a lasting impression. Overall, Hibiki Sushi in Deep Ellum is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful dining experience. The quality of the food and the tranquil setting make it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Great rolls and all at a great price! A parking lot is next door or you can park on the street making it easy to get to. Every roll we order was great and we will be making this a regular spot. Food came out quick and the staff is all nice. One of the top sushi restaurants in the area!

Lindsay S.

Yelp
I love the vibe of this place. There are options to sit inside and outside, as well as seating at the bar where you can watch the pros craft the sushi. The sushi is what I expected based on the reviews. I was really pleased with the Shaggy Dog and The Fat Ass Roll. I thought I would feel ashamed to order that roll, similar to how you might feel order a "belt buster" at Dairy Queen, but no, no shame here. The real treat was the sushi nachos. Amazing flavor that I don't think I've had anywhere else. The crispy rice was thin and added a nice texture to the raw fish on top.

Yelp
Really good sushi at outstanding prices in Deep Ellum? Sign me up! We were deciding between a boat v ordering rolls and other stuff and I would recommend picking your own rolls unless you are basic (and that's ok) and are fine with Philly and Spicy Tuna rolls. The rolls we ordered were rice less so no carbs in case you are counting. Ashley special is exceptional - big slices of salmon wrapped around avocado and crab salad, topped with a shiso leaf. 6 big bites that are packed with flavor! We also enjoyed the Johnny roll (cucumber wrapped around tempura shrimp and crab salad) and the screaming O (very generous portion of sashimi - get the mixed instead of the tuna version to get 3 other types of fish including salmon). Pro-tips: Order the uni sushi - at $10 for 2 gunkan-style sushi each of which holds 3 pieces of sea urchin. The uni tasted fresh and at that price it's a steal! Also order the hamachi collar - $11 for a decent portion of yellowtail, cooked to perfection - great deal! Finish w very shareable scoop(s?) of tempura ice cream (vanilla or green tea flavor) for $5! Jade and the entire team provided excellent service, too! Hibiki has a good HH menu Monday to Friday and we'll definitely be back again!

Amaya R.

Yelp
Ordered the spicy salmon roll and it came in a black Togo box (???) little strange but okay. Unfortunately, the rolls fell apart like sand. I'd barely picked it up and it fell into ruin before ever touching my mouth. I was really hungry so i had to use a spoon to scrape it up but not happy the how loose their sushi rolls are.

Katia P.

Yelp
Started out a little slow on service but picked up right away. Took a minute to take our order, but once it was in ... deliciousness. Food came out fast and it was super delicious. Everything had great flavor and would definitely come again. Small inside but friendly vibes. Overall fun and great place for sushi.

Molly D.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service, never super busy even on a Saturday night in deep Ellum.

Kaylee G.

Yelp
Restaurant was hot and a lifting on the dirty side. The back are or the restaurant was cooler then the front but smelled like a gross bathroom. We used the high chair for our babes car seat and it was soo sticky and gross. Our waitress was amazing All the rolls 9/10 Seaweed salad 10/10 Miso soup tasted over cooked 3/10

Lauren V.

Yelp
My husband and I come here all the time. Love this place so much. It's the only sushi restaurant we go to. We usually get the flower roll (the best) cowboy and I love my ass. The flower roll has so much fish it's the best. We would come here more if it wasn't for the parking situation. Deep ellum is just hard to park. Staff is friendly, fast service. Chill ambiance

Daniela T.

Yelp
I've came here twice. The first time during a happy hour and the other time during a regular time. They have an overwhelming amount of sushi dishes. Happy Hour servings are small and just basic. The ginger and soy sauce saved it. Not much flavor going on. During regular hours, their signature sushi dishes are obviously created more carefully. But they were drenched in eel sauce, which overpowered the whole roll. Service was fair, it wasn't busy much during the week. They do have good happy hour choices for rolls and drinks, but don't expect the sushi to be out of this world.

Amanda L.

Yelp
3.5 for my food, but everyone else seemed to enjoy their food so I'm thinking I just ordered wrong. Went for their happy hour (which literally last for so long it's awesome) and I got the screaming orgasm. Not sure what I was expecting but definitely not this and it was just okay. No way am I ordering it again though. Service was really cool and chill, took about an hour for food which is pretty average I think.

Jasmeen K.

Yelp
Frankie special and shaggy dog our favorite one was the shaggy do. Our waiter Tim was so friendly, super efficient. It was a great experience and a nice vibe.

Kennedie P.

Yelp
I ordered takeout and I truly enjoyed what I got. I ordered the jackpot roll and the chicken karage. My sushi fell apart but it was till good and the chicken is cool, nothing crazy just dark pieces of chicken fried and it come with a a sweetish dipping sauce. I almost ordered a 2nd roll but I'm glad I didn't because this is enough for one person, only ate half. I saw some where they have a happy hour so I will definitely be going back! I live 5 minutes away and my food was ready by the time I got there and it was a cute spot right in deep ellum.

Steve S.

Yelp
We came here for the first time at happy hour today, and enjoyed our first Hibiki experience. We ordered some drinks (house white wine and a Sapporo) and got an order of edamame, a crunch roll, yellowtail sashimi, and a California roll from the happy hour menu, and all were fresh and nicely executed. We sat at the sushi bar, but a waitress handled all drink and food ordering and delivery. Service was prompt, efficient, and mindful. The vibe inside is a nice industrial chic, and could be improved by taking all the styrofoam to go containers off the top of the sushi bar and out of sight in a cabinet or shelf somewhere out of the consumer line of sight. We will likely return for the happy hour every few months or so, and look forward to our next visit.

Summer G.

Yelp
Delicious! Itty bitty dining area so be prepared to be squished. It was pretty cold outside so we had to sit by the door and that wasn't awesome but the service is on point and the sushi is fresh and decently priced. The server answered all our questions and was extremely attentive. Our wait for food wasn't long at all. We will definitely come back next time we're in Dallas! Wifey tip- happy hour menu is pretty awesome and reasonable. I recommend that. Also you have to be 9000% committed to sushi bc that's 98% of the menu. But so worth it- our kids are $5 rolls and were thrilled

Mattison D.

Yelp
This place is so good! Our server was so attentive and food came out super fast. Our new favorite spot and don't forget to try their new veggie spring rolls! Our favorites were the deep Ellum roll, shaggy dog roll, and lobster roll!

Konnori B.

Yelp
Hibiki is my favorite sushi restaurant in the DFW area! Their happy hour is the best with rolls, and everything is delicious! The interior is very clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. If you want a new sushi place to go to (or if you just really enjoy sushi), it would be in your best interest to go here. You will probably not find a better place than Hibiki! I can't recommend them enough! Side note: there's a parking garage directly across the street. It's roughly $10 parking for about 4 hours or so. Definitely worth it on the weekends when it's busy!

Simone P.

Yelp
I went here for date night and it didn't disappoint. The fried rice is easily one of my favorites I've ever had and that sushi was very fresh. Service was good as well. I would definitely go back

Summer S.

Yelp
I came here searching for my local sushi restaurant but unfortunately I was let down. I got the Philadelphia roll and the James Bond roll. I was extremely disappointed to the point I got mad at myself for ordering the damn rolls. It came out super quick just the James Bond had a odd after taste like a weird taste to it. Not lemon or citrus it was Just unexplainable. Seaweed was also hard to chew for both rolls. I was there alone and seen the reason why. I got the Suntory whisky which was like a Japanese old fashion to me. I like that! Service was okay not bad it was empty. The place was clean just no soap in the bathroom which concerns me sense there was a after taste in the roll now I'm thinking about it. I'm good in this place idk how they go so many good reviews off the food. I just hate I wasn't able to give the same type of review as others.

Kari B.

Yelp
This place has the best sushi happy hour in Dallas-Fort Worth area. The parking sucks because obviously it's depot him but the quality of sushi and drinks for the happy hour price was insanely good. Can't wait to go back.

Martin R.

Yelp
Salmon & Tuna Sashimi was almost at room temperature when, what could of been good wasn't, very nice staff just the nasty tasting

Anthony A.

Yelp
What a great hidden spot in Deep Ellum. It is about time that there is another option in the Dallas Area for Sushi. The food was top notch and the options were unlimited and the Customer service from the staff is top notch. I was pleasantly suprised at the happy hour menu and loved the theme for all the different types of sushi that they have on the menu. There is nothing special about about the drinks that I found but as far as food is concerned I would recommend this location to any sushi lover.

Jane K.

Yelp
Not sure how this place has so many positive reviews. We stopped by due to the great reviews and left gravely disappointed. We ordered the salmon, tuna and yellowtail sashimi along with a spicy tuna and spicy salmon roll. The quality of the sushi is subpar. It's not fresh at all. It's very fishy and the temperature was mildly warm. Their rolls are inverted and resemble Korean kimbab instead of Japanese sushi rolls. The rolls were murky in color and I'm pretty sure the sushi chef is a smoker. To top it off, the establishment seemed unclean and had a odd smell. Might be the worst sushi I've had in my life.

Brianna M.

Yelp
always delicious food!! have to get the lobster roll every time. my server nae was very attentive and friendly, she recommended the strawberry sake and she wasn't wrong. will definitely be back again

Milad G.

Yelp
Really great service & specialty rolls were so GOOD. The raw fish tastes fresh (i.e no fishy smell or after taste). Overall bussin...will be coming back to try other rolls and bring some friends

Omair A.

Yelp
Creative rolls, very delicious! We pretty much loved everything we ate here, highly recommended.

Rachel R.

Yelp
Amazing this place has my favorite SAKE- Black & Gold & on top of that a killer Happy Hour Menu with more than the basics! Located in a fun location, nothing makes me happier than healthy foods to fill up with! The sexy time Roll & mistake special, Dallas Special were so good. I can't wait to try the whole menu!!

Valerie V.

Yelp
Going out in Deep Ellum with a bang! Their sushi is so far one of my top favorites and will now be added to my list of places to visit when I come back to Dallas. Service was quick and friendly. Food was outstanding. Their rolls are filling so come hungry! The takoyaki balls-amazing! They had a nice crisp bite to them then immediately melted in my mouth and I could taste the bits of octopus inside. Alligator Roll: the crowd favorite. It was sweet, crispy and had all the right flavor combinations no soy sauce needed Cowboy Roll: Super filling and literally had every fish available in it and crab inside. Spider roll: Biggest roll and most unique in terms of shape presentation. Delicious either way and a safe choice if eating sushi for the first time. Rainbow roll: my least favorite due to the spicy tuna inside of the roll. Just a little too spicy for me but good flavor. Now, the oyster shots were very good and went down easily, almost too easily. Overall make your way here food is worth the wait, you won't regret it!

Giselle C.

Yelp
our go to spot for some good sushi in Dallas! food is delicious, service is great, and the atmosphere is unmatched. 10/10, been here multiple times and we have no complaints

David P.

Yelp
The food was mediocre for the price that it came out to be the menu's hottest item is hardly anything special I came with my brother and his gf and we both were weirded out and just got a strange vibe from the waiter the art in the place is nothing special the bars options weren't very good either not many options to pick from I wouldn't recommend the place or come back I also noticed what other people said about not being acknowledged by staff.

Neyat A.

Yelp
Good service! However the establishment smelled a little funky. The floors were sticky and dirty, and I was not impressed by the sushi. I'm all for a whole in a wall vibe - restaurant however this was just plain unkept. All the fish didn't taste fresh, the specialty sauces weren't all too great snd I didn't eat most of my meal. Each roll was around $18 you're better off going somewhere else. I hate to leave bad reviews but I hope this helps someone from avoiding spending a lot of money on not the best quality of food.

Briseida V.

Yelp
Best sushi I've had in DFW. Delicious! Service was great, friendly server and very chill vibes. We will definitely visit again.

Kate K.

Yelp
Came here for an early dinner on a Tuesday after our first two places were closed or experiencing computer issues. Sushi was delicious and the happy hour prices were great! The place was super slow when we were there but the staff were friendly and attentive for the most part. I forgot to take pictures but it's a great find. My usual sushi place in the area is Deep Sushi but this place was a good substitute.

Ariel E.

Yelp
Unique rolls, awesome drink menu, friendly service, and an overall chill vibe. Everything I've tried has been great. They also have a great Happy Hour menu!

Jimie C.

Yelp
I swear by this place! This has to be the best sushi I've ever had and not only in Dallas. No one's sushi can compare to Hibikis. Every bight has its own unique flavor. It's like a rollercoaster of flavors in every bite. I'm pretty sure I have tried every roll on the menu and none have disappointed. I love the unique names of the food on the menu. My favorite rolls are I LOVE MY ASS and THE MISTAKE. They have great cocktails and a good assortment of sake. The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality and flavor you get. The happy hour is also fantastic. Love the vibe and they have great service. Food is made fresh and fast.

Erin M.

Yelp
We had a late dinner here, food was fast and service was good. Nice selection of rolls and appetizers.

Stephen J.

Yelp
My friend was visiting and wanted sushi so we decided to check this place out. Their menu has plenty of options for everyone to check out with something for everyone. They make it helpful for those who don't like raw fish by designating them with little fish. So if you're like me just pick some sushi without the fish beside it and you'll be fine. They have a patio for those cooler evenings to enjoy or just dine inside. For the value and the portions I will say it's one of the better ones in Dallas.

Robert B.

Yelp
Such a great place and they took care of us completely. We were there on a business trip and had some weird way to do our billing and they did it. The food was so awesome and the services was excellent!

Lizzie G.

Yelp
Oh wow! We just stopped in and tried three different rolls: Sun devil, garlic butter special, and happy ending. They were all perfect in their own way but my favorite was definitely the sun devil! Price point is a little on the high side, the three together were about $60+ tip but we both left satisfied and not stuffed! Friendly staff as well, so I'll definitely be back!

Olga G.

Yelp
Great sushi spot in Deep Ellum. At first glance, prices are not cheap but the sushi sizing is gigantic. The garlic chili edamame was spicy but delicious. Caterpillar roll is huge and yummy and unagi sushi was the size of a small steak. Highly recommended.

Laura H.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place to eat in Dallas ! Delicious food, casual & easy, and very reasonable prices! I always have the best meal no matter what I get at Hibiki - and best thing is they also have happy hour (which I haven't tried yet) but some amazing prices for the deliciousness you get! Cannot recommend enough!

Kathryn M.

Yelp
Came here for dinner and I think I found my new favorite sushi spot! This place has a casual but cool vibe, the sushi prices are pretty great, and I was pretty surprised how awesome everything was based on the price! They have some really unique rolls... even the ones we ordered I was surprised when they came out how intricate they were.. We got the anthem roll, arizona roll, & the mistake special roll- all of them were so so good, the mistake roll was super great... the anthem had a lemongrass taste with the citrus sauce but it was a really interesting taste that I ended up loving. The miso soup wasn't my favorite, and the music was loud radio pop but other than that a really cool place worth checking out if youre in the mood for some sushi! The staff were all super nice & everything came out pretty fast.. will definitely be coming back!

Cole F.

Yelp
Small meat portions and when I placed an over Togo I got back and it was wrong . Threw the entire dish away. Won't be back

Mike G.

Yelp
The staff was fantastic. I arrived about 30 min. Before closing and they were very accommodating making sure I knew when the kitchen was closing etc. The sushi was phenomenal I really enjoyed the sushi. I also had a roll which was very good too. A cool hang out spot in the spring in a cool hang out neighborhood. I highly recommend this place.

Lele S.

Yelp
Great prices. Huge cuts of sashimi. Service at the sushi bar was great. Would love to hit their happy hour also!! Love that I can enjoy excellent sushi in a casual setting.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
Decent food. Can definitely tell difference in quality in conjunction for bargain prices. Not the highest quality, not the worst. Service can be slow and everything tends to come out all at once. Happy hour is good.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Good times had at Hibiki! Like anybody with good taste, we started off with the shishito peppers and edamame as our appetizers. Are usually like the peppers when they are already drizzled with Sriracha mayo and eel sauce, since they didn't come with any sauce, We ordered a side of both which our waiter happily accommodated. It wouldn't be right to eat delicious sushi and Ramen without getting liquored up, so of course we had a few rounds of sake bombs. I also opted for the Yuzu margarita. This is where I knock off one star though, usually when I order the sake bombs, they leave the tokkuri (the little flask/pitcher) With us to keep the sake going. Here, we only received the one sake cup to go with our large Kirin Ichiban beer. Ya girl was tryna get twirly. I don't remember the name of the sushi my fiancé ordered, but those pieces were so large she ended up eating them with her hands (I know I know, the SHaMe) we also ordered the yellowtail sushi to have more food to munch on I absolutely love my Ramen, and even though it was the dead of summer, The Ramen was really satisfying to eat. The one I got came with the large udon noodles and slightly slightly poached egg. Anyway if you're looking to have a good time and eat some good a$& ramen, come here.

Karen M.

Yelp
The food was FANTASTIC!! They had a happier hour special menu and the food was so good . I will definitely try to go back next time I'm in Dallas.

Carolyn J.

Yelp
Place was really nice atmosphere was really good. Enjoyed people watching. I tried the boom boom nipple teaser it was good . I am just not a sushi eater . My friend really enjoyed her meal . It's nice place.
