We where just passing through town so thankful we stopped here! Clean Delicious Food,excellent service, relaxing atmosphere.

Great! Walked in on a chill afternoon and was greeted right away and seated. The menu was super simple but also effective! Everything looked delicious. I ordered the spanakopitas and that was impressive… but the gyro was where it was at! That hit the spot… I ordered another to go! I do wish it was slightly bigger but that could just be me being greedy! I also ordered the coconut syrup cake 🍰! That was a treat and I got to try the tiramisu which was good! Highly recommend and I can’t wait till my next visit!

First, yes, I'm probably biased. However, i do mean it that this place is too good for this area. The atmosphere is really nice, clean, and themed. You won't forget exactly what kind of restaurant you're in. The service was amazing: friendly, welcoming, and considerate. I would come back purely just for the service. But also, the food was pretty great. The lamb was very good, the spanakopita was very nice. I just wish i would have had more items. One of the best dining experiences in the area. Even though it's not in the actual Wichita Falls main area, this is definitely worth driving the extra 4 miles and checking it out. For a good Greek experience, there's no beating this at least in the 50 mile radius.

Such a great place! The food was excellent. The service was top notch! Such a fun atmosphere! Mary was great and very welcoming! This has got to be my new favorite place to go when I am in Wichita falls! If you get a chance, go eat here. You will not regret it!

My wife ate there for lunch with a friend. She said the service was great and it was super chill there. I had her bring me a gyro and fries. The food was good. The one thing I was not pleased with is the portion size. The gyro is small. The amount of meat given was not to my standard. I have eaten gyros at a lot of places and this one was sad. I probably wouldn't recommend or return.

If I could, I would rate this place a 4 1/2. There are so many great things about this place. It’s very clean from the shakers and condiment bottles to the work station! The staff is efficient and friendly. They have margaritas, brewed tea and exquisite coffee selections among other bar drinks and beer. I would say the dessert list is the best in town with decadent choices and the chocolate compilation that I consumed was over the top. I had a gyro which was pretty tasty but I always compare gyros to my all time favorite gyro in another Texas city which explains the 41/2 stars instead of 5. I will return because it really was good! It’s clean, modern, sleek and appealing. I went at lunch but it would be a great place to go for date night.

I was visiting home about six months ago and decided to come back to this place. Big mistake. Rude staff member waiting on us. Waited over 30 minutes for three salads and we were given the excuse they are all “made fresh” which is ridiculous. I’ve worked in kitchens and I would have lost my job if I took that long getting a salad out. Our server barely checked on us or gave us refills. We were practically ignored. Once we saw the salads in the window my girlfriend then went and got them herself because we were so sick of waiting. We asked for a small discount due to the wait which she refused because “the food is good here” which I also never said. Great food. Horrible service. Don’t waste your time or money. Thumbs down.

Delightful. Small shop with wonderful service. I had Lemon Chicken and my wife a salad with chicken. Both were very good.

Funny story, an employee of Wichita Falls Endoscopy suggested Hibiscus Cafe to my husband. The gyros and the lemon potatoes were AMAZING!! I was bummed that they didn't have lemon chicken today We will definitely be going back!!

omg. you honestly would not go wrong if you ate here everyday... If I lived here I would be a regular. I ate here at least twice a week for a month and I did not regret a single item on the menu. The hummus, the gyros, the fries the dessert... i could go on. The service is great I love the employees they are so welcoming and have great suggestions if you're looking for something new. It is a great place to come and unwind and let the flavors dance upon your tastebuds.

Excellent Greek food, with a good selection. DO NOT skip dessert! Their pastries are delicious and they have something for everyone. Service is fantastic, they obviously love what they do and welcome questions about the menu. If I lived here I'd be a regular!

The food is absolutely delicious. Thus far, I've had the gyros and salads and have never been disappointed. I will say the portions are fairly small for the price, but smaller portions aren't necessarily a bad thing and I do usually end up full. Taste is absolutely on point and as I write this, I think I'll stop by for lunch lol. I have yet to eat inside the place, but when I go in for my pick up order, the space is light, open, and airy. It's on the smaller side, but that contributes to the family feel and no one ever seems unhappy. The staff are so incredibly friendly and thats what ultimately makes for a wonderful experience. The lady at the front is so nice, I love chatting with her when I stop by. I believe the restaurant is family owned and love that it's so close to the base

First off our waitress was wonderful. Incredible energy and very knowledgeable about the menu. I was torn because I wanted a Gyro but I have never had Musaka. She met me in the middle and recommended a dish not on the menus yet.... Spetsofai. Damn.... What a dish. Tender and extremely flavorful sausage that is slightly spicy mixed with bell pepper in a sauce that I cleaned up with a spoon. Served with pita bread and what I believe was a feta and hummus mixture. If I wasn't leaving town I would absolutely go back! I don't try the dessert but it looked wonderful.

The sever was wonderful and so was the food. We were there this time last year and going back tonight! Loved the food, the ambience and our server. The desserts were incredible as well. Wonderful little place!

This Greek Mediterranean cafe is has good food at affordable price. The ambiance of the place is relaxing and delightful. Additionally, the single server around 3 PM was very thoughtful filling my Greek Frappuccino when it was half empty. Because my friend gave me left over beef gyro prior, I wanted to try other dishes. The mousaka dish was easy to cut and enjoy per bite. I might come back to try other offers, yet I will admit not suggesting the baklava. It had too much honey syrup and caused the dessert to soak.

Delicious food and Mary our server was very very kind to me and my girls. It's an easy stop when you're headed out of Dallas to Wichita Falls. I highly recommend it.

Been twice, once in, once take out. Both times have been incredible. Staff is super friendly. Food is ridiculously good, and the prices are hard to beat.

Overpriced and mediocre. Ordered the lemon chicken, and a side salad..it was $23....They gave me 4 half slices of lemon potatoes and 2 small chicken thighs. Idk who they think they are charging that much and giving that little bit of food

We called and asked them if they could do sort of a catering order for 35 people for a memorial service so I could serve food to the family. The man who passed away and his wife loved to get Greek food for date nights. They happily accommodated and were great to communicate with. Mary helped me get the right amount together at a reasonable cost. The food was all ready right on time and everything was made to perfection. It was packaged very well, all hot and not soggy. We got gyro and chicken pitas, hummus and pita, dolmas, salad, lemon potatoes, spanakopita and cheese pies. It was all great. They packaged the extras like onion, tomatoes and sauce for the wraps separately so people could create their own and so it wouldn't make the food soggy. Salad dressing was packaged nicely on the side. We highly recommend this place. It's authentic Greek food. Anytime we go this direction we will stop and eat. We live 3 hours away so I just found them through a search of Mediterranean food in this area and I'm so glad we picked Hibiscus Cafe!

The food here is very good. I visit Wichita from Washington DC often and it is nice to find a little place that is not a chain restaurant. Will be back.

Amazing food, amazing vibes, amazing service. Staff were super attentive and friendly. My wife and i got gyros and they were super good. We'll definitely be back.

I stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night on a business trip. I figured that any restaurant close to the base would be able to serve up delicious food with a short wait time. The service and dining room were great, but the food and prices were just okay. I surveyed the menu and decided that I wanted to something easier to prepare, so I ordered the gyro salad. It was underwhelming. First, it was not served with complimentary pita bread. It's been years since I visited a Greek or mediterranean restaurant that did not serve complimentary pita bread. I was not in the mood to order some bread when I would probably only 1 or 2 of the pieces in the order of 4, so I stuck with the salad. The salad itself had some crunchy veggies in it, but I was disappointed with the contrast between hot and cold. One of the things that makes a meat salad great is when the meat served on top is piping hot and it contrasts with cold dressing and veggies. This was not the case here. The gryo meat was the highlight of the salad - plenty of umami in there. Beyond that, the veggies were just food service quality. The worst part of the salad was the dressing. It didn't come with enough for my taste, so I ordered some extra dressing. When it came out, I tried a little bit and discovered that it was...olive oil. There might have been some other ingredients in the dressing, but I couldn't taste them. No herbs, no vinegar, nothing else. On top of that, they charged $1.00 extra for a 1/4 cup size container of extra dressing. I wasn't expecting that since it's not common practice at other restaurants I have visited. Besides the food, everything else about my visit was good. The dining room is decorated nicely and is well lighted. My server took an interest in getting my order right and taking care of me. If I'm in the area again, it would be worth a return trip to try the lamb. They were unfortunately out of lamb when I visited.

I cannot give enough kudos to this restaurant! I'd give it 10 stars if I could, I truly mean it. Mary, our server and daughter of the owners, is the most amazing person you will ever come across. She's friendly, compassionate and extremely kind. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean and welcoming, even during its busiest hours. I didn't take pictures of my Gyro because I was starving and it looked so delish. I'm always completely satisfied with my meal here and I only order the gyro and fries. Today we all sampled desserts. Like OMGOSH!! Died and went to heaven good. If you are thinking of visiting, stop thinking about it and GO ALREADY

I didn't really care for the food here. It wasn't that the food was bad, it was just really bland. The menu said the meal came with rice but the server said they didn't have rice anymore, just lemon potatoes. They were as bland as you could get. I really hoped this place would be good but it just wasn't

Came here with a friend to try something new. It took a little while for us to get a waitress. I ordered a beef gyro and the strawberry shortcake. The gyro was good and the dessert was some type cream. No cake really, not really strawberry tasting, it was unique. This place is traditional. My friend got the lasana looking item with baked zuccani, it was icky to both of us. My friend ended up getting a gyro as well and liked to chocolate cream dessert. It was interesting, you should give it a try if you are around.

Upon entering the restaurant is spotlessly clean, and the desert window options are amazing! Our service was provided by Mary, the owners daughter, she so pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. Our food was delicious we started out with the fried feta, very nice. I love lamb so I went with the Gyro salad with extra meat, my husband went with the kabobs both quite tasty. If you want a pleasant atmosphere, great service and exceptional Greek food, definitely check this place out!

Amazing place for quality food and service a minute away from base! Family owned and operated. The food tastes extremely fresh and made with quality ingredients and love. With a relaxed ambiance providing that chill vibe. Started with the Dolmas and spanakopita. From the first bite I knew the rest of the meal would be amazing. Then the main dish. The Lemon chicken and potatoes were to die for. Tender chicken, crusted skin, and flavorful potatoes. The Greek salad also did not disappoint. Now I had to try dessert. So I was recommended the Baklava with Greek coffee. This combo is truly a match made in heaven. If you are around the area, don't hesitate to check this place out!

Food was great, got some gyros, and baklava. The Gyros were delicious, sauce had good flavor, meat was tender. Baklava was some of the best I've had in a while. Tried a new to me one that was stringed, the texture was cool, and made it a dessert I'd get again. Was called in as a pickup order, wait time was 15 mins, pretty quick. Will have to eat in next time to try out the bar drinks.

Comfortable family spot, delicious and consistent with the friendliest staff. My family has been coming here for nearly 25 years, and now a third generation loves it!

My parents raves about this place and Double A and I had to check in out. It's atmosphere is nice and clean and bright. The food was tasted good. The service was good. I ordered a la cart because I needed a salad (something green in my life). My folks loved the lemon potatoes and they were correct. Although it's simple with the flavors it was the highlight of my experience.

I have been going here since they were at an older location. Best customer service in town, amazing food (never disappointed), fast when ordering take-out, great Greek coffee, and I love the music they play! I've only gone for lunch but will live to go for dinner and drinks one day!

What a treat to find great Greek food during our overnight in Wichita Falls. Definitely worth the short drive to the air force base. We had gyros and pastitcio that were delicious, with fresh crispy fries. But the best thing we had was the amazing orange coconut cake. We will definitely be back.

We were traveling through Wichita Falls and saw all the great reviews so we stopped in for lunch. We had to wait a bit as the restaurant was full, mostly with Air Force men and women. It was worth the wait, the food was excellent and authentic! I had the Gyro open platter, delicious meat! The servers were very friendly. Highly recommend! The iced tea was great too.

The Greek pasta dish was perfect comfort food, and the feta and pita appetizer was good. Did not have dessert, but it looked good.

Best stop on the way to Colorado! After a little digging on Yelp, our family found this gem still open on a Saturday night. It's across from the air force base, but as authentic Greek as ever. So fun to find a tasty Gyro on our road trip from Texas to Colorado-- definitely a nice change from the typical burger places along the highway. And our server, Kyndall, was the sweetest. Recommend ordering the beef/lamb Gyro, double meat, add feta!

Went with my sister and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful to us. The restaurant was clean, and the gyros were delicious. Very fast service and will definitely be making this a regular place to stop and get food.

Have been going to Hibiscus Cafe for many years. The new location is phenomenal. It's big enough for parties, luncheons, etc. Mary remembers everyone and makes you feel like family. The food is consistently spot on. I had the Pastichio and it was very good and filling. I couldn't even finish it! My husband had the Kokinsto and liked it, as well. They now serve alcohol, so no more BYOB. The margarita was very tasty!

An outstanding place and so glad they are moving to a larger location. The food is great and the staff is so friendly and you just felt like family there. Can't wait to come back!

We stopped here on our drive from dallas to Denver. We wanted our Greek food fix, and crossed our fingers in hopes that yelp would get us to the right place. We arrived right when it opened so there wasn't a single car in the lot or person in the restaurant. We got nervous, but the yelp reviewers are correct. This place is great! We had the gyros, the kids had spaghetti and Greek meat sauce. A Greek salad for the table and a piece of baklava as well. Food was terrific. The folks who own and work there are fantastic. I'm of Greek heritage, so that always means I have to talk with all the Greeks in a Greek restaurant. It was just a clean, friendly place with great owners and felicitous food. We didn't want to leave! Will be a stop on our Denver-dallas trips from now on.

Delicious no matter what you get. Mary is fantastic and knows us by name! Lol The coffees, desserts, pitas etc are all worth the time.

Lemon Chicken and potatoes were sooooo good. As was everything we ordered. Staff was super friendly too. Would recommend stopping here when in town.

In town for a work trip and stopped at the Hibiscus Cafe. I had 1.5hrs to kill and expected I'd have to find a way to occupy myself afterwards; I was wrong. Came in with the lunch rush. I didn't have to wait for a table but it was slow coming out of the kitchen this could've been abnormal because about 20 people all sat down at the same time. The food was good but certainly not cooked in a traditional Mediterranean way. Service was great! Our waitress was attentive, never had to ask for anything.

Hibiscus Cafe is my favorite place to eat in Wichita Falls! The staff is extremely friendly and the food is always delicious! If you're looking for authentic Greek food in TX this is a must-try! Conveniently located near base and always clean.

I have been coming to Hibiscus for years and every time I am blown away by the food and the service. Stella and Stavros are genuine Greeks that are making delicious food. Along with their daughter, they always make you feel like part of the family. Their fried feta is to die for, the spicy feta dip is amazing (the owner told me an awesome story about how it's a family recipe!), and the gyro is always fresh and flavorful. I always recommend Hibiscus to people visiting Wichita Falls and it is always a hit. Would 10/10 recommend trying Hibiscus out for yourself!!

3.4 Stars. Food is decent. But, service is very slow for being next to a military installation to take 50 mins for me to make a to-go order.

The food was delicious and the portions and prices were great! The staff was incredible, we went with my 2-year-old and they took right to her, and accommodated us quickly with a booster seat, they gave us the option of a booster or high chair. The space is large, most tables are a 6 top. We went right at noon and it was busy but there were still plenty of tables and no waiting. Absolutely loved it and will be back!

This was authentic, home style Greek food made by 1st generation Greek immigrants, in a cafe reminiscent of a seaside Greek cafe. Very tasty, with staff that make you feel like part of their family. However, the location I used to visit was a victim of the Covid isolation destruction of several small businesses, and they are sadly permanently closed.

Food was good. Atmosphere was good. However we did wait over an hour for the food. I would recommend this place whenever you're not in a rush.

I was definitely hangry when I walked in. I order and was served very quickly. The staff was very nice and apparently it was new location. Hope they stick around for the base. Also heard they have specials on the weekend.
