"Hiccups Restaurant and Teahouse is now open in Frisco, and this Asian-fusion spot’s got something for everyone — from spicy chicken wings to boba tea to very photogenic churros. The California-based chain, which officially opened earlier last month at 9144 Prestmont Place, has both savory and sweet dishes covered. For a meal, there are options like pad thai, kimchi fried rice, and pho, while snacks include wings and fries topped with cubes of filet mignon. Hiccups is also home to its sister shop Churroholic, which fries up oversize churros shaped like hoops. Top them with cereal or nuts, or dip them in chocolate. Meanwhile, the drinks menu is stocked with options like “pink flamingo” tea, horchata milk tea, or lychee slushies." - Adele Chapin

"Hiccups Restaurant and Teahouse, a forthcoming hotspot for spicy chicken wings and inventive drinks, will soon open its doors in Frisco. Sky Hoang, founder of the California-based chain, tells Eater that it will open at 9144 Prestmont Place, Suite 220, early next year. It’ll be the first Texas outpost of the Instagram-friendly restaurant to open in Texas, joining more than a dozen restaurants currently open and set to debut in California and Arizona. Additional Texas locations are in the works for Houston and San Antonio." - Amy McCarthy

This place was delicious! I will be going back again. We had the garlic noodles and a churro sundae. Atmosphere was perfect and the staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out fast and steaming hot. The sundae came out after we almost finished eating the noodles which was perfect. They have silverware for anyone who doesn't want to use chopsticks. They have staff walking around to get you anything you need.

Had pho’ beef soup, which was so good! We also had the fudge churro bites with vanilla ice cream, that was my favorite. Oh and can’t forget the horchata iced coffee. So much to chose from, will come back soon. This outing was in April!

I think this place has potential, but they need to put out some better options! I have only come here for snacks and desserts, not entrees. The churro sundae is so good! But we would like if they had a cheaper alternative as we don't care for all of those toppings, but by taking them out the price doesn't drop (Makes sense, but still would like a cheaper, simpler alternative). The popcorn chicken was good! But nothing that stood out

It was pure bliss. I enjoyed every bite. We made a mistake and ordered one each, truly it was enough for two people. I can't wait to go back and try the other items. I 100% recommend. Its a must try.

This is a really fun place to try if you love sugar or bubble tea. The food was alright but the ice cream and drinks were awesome. Great place to go hang out and even play games with friends/kids ect. We were helped right away and food came out pretty quickly. I cant wait to go back!

Its a good place for kinda one stop shop, they have everything, food, drinks including slushy, and boba tea, and dessert which was created around Churro. I got a Pho; the broth was good but there was only one type of Pho and you would just pick different types of meat or Tofu. Also ordered a tea which was ok, not as good as other real Boba teas in the area. Also got an original Churro, it tasted good but unfortunately mine wasn’t cooked all the way. The price was a little higher than other places for same type of food by a dollar or two which is not a big deal. This was the first time I went in and the line was long, only one register was open. I drove pass the place a few times and always saw them busy. Overall, it was ok for me considering, the food, price, and wait time. P.S. they bring the food out to your table and clean up after so don’t forget to tip.

My friend and I stopped by for dessert… if we had known they had so much verity on their menu we would’ve come with an empty stomach. We ordered churros with vanilla ice cream and we were on dessert heaven. I really want to come back and try the wings because my mouth has been watering since I left the restaurant.
